Restaurante Troja in Magdeburg

Wir waren gestern Abend zum Abendessen mit 6Personen davon 2Kinder im Troja,eigentlich wollten wir das Lokal nicht mehr besuchen,da es sehr nachgelassen hat angefangen vom Service der sehr langsam war ,das Essen kalt und Fleisch einfach tot gegrillt war.Das alles teuer geworden ist wissen wir alle, aber für eine Cola 5.50€ und einer Flasche Wasser mit 6.90€ zu verlangen ist ja unverschämt.Und auf der Rechnung (nicht zubezahlen,)10 Uso aufzuschreiben sicherlich fürs Finanzamt ist frech wir haber nur 1bekommen. aller guten Dinge sind3(hier leider nicht)war es definitiv der letzte Besuch im Troja.

Meine Freundin und ich waren zu unserem Jahrestag dort essen. Haben uns für platze draußen entschieden, weil schönes Wetter zu diesem Zeitpunkt war. Der Tisch an sich war einfach leer und lieblos, lediglich ein Platzdeckchen für jeden, sonst nichts. Keine Salz/Pfefferstreuer, Besteck, Kerze, etc. Nichts. Die Bedienung hat unsere Getränke aufgenommen, dann haben wir eine halbe Stunde gewartet, bis er wieder an unseren Tisch kam und meinte ob wir denn schon bestellt haben. Ja, direkt bei ihm... Er hat uns dann innerhalb der nächsten 10 Minuten die Getränke gebracht. Also 45 Minuten ohne das wir bis jetzt essen bestellt hatten, wo andere Tische deutlich häufiger znd schneller bedient wurden, die zeitgleich mit uns ankamen. Essen wurde dann aufgenommen und innerhalb von 20 Minuten serviert, es war lecker und gab nix zu meckern was das angeht. Trotz bemerkbar machen und das wir ihm dann gesagt hatten wir würden gerne zahlen, dauerte es wieder 30 min bis überhaupt wer kam zum abkassieren. Essen top, Service sehr ausbaufähig.

War lecker aber man musste länger warten aufs bezahlen. Drinne leider ziemlich warm. Eis als Nachtisch kann ich nicht empfehlen ist Geld Verschwendung

Essen sehr gut, Kellner etwas überfordert. Bei der Bestellung ging leider etwas schief, habe darauf hingewiesen, wurde aber nicht zeitnah behoben. Sollte eigentlich ein schöner Abend werden . Chef hat von unserem Problem keine richtige Kenntnis genommen leider.

Leider heute eher eine negative Erfahrung im Troja. Die sonst bisherigen Besuche waren super zufrieden stellend, …heute lange sehr Wartezeiten, 3x Bestellung aufgegeben um danach die Begründung zu bekommen, dass der bzw. mehrere Kellner am Vorabend gefeiert haben und somit keine klare Gedanken hatten? Ein Essen wurde dazu dann auch noch vergessen und wurde nachgebracht als alle anderen fertig waren. Auch leider sehr respektloses Verhalten gegenüber den Gästen. Für das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis erwartet man was anderes. Ingesamt ziemlich schlechter Service, Essen war fairerweise jedoch sehr lecker. Wir werden dennoch das nächste Mal ein anderes Ambiente aufsuchen.

Unser "Lieblingsgrieche" in Magdeburg. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Was will man mehr...

Wir waren zum Geburtstag vor 3 Wochen zum 2. Mal dort. Angebot reichlich, aber viele Essen alkohollastig (Soßen), daher nicht mehr sehr viel Auswahl vorhanden. Service war in Ordnung aber die Essen haben uns nicht geschmeckt.

Wir haben dieses Restaurant mehrfach besucht und wurden stets zuvorkommend behandelt. Die Speisen sind vorzüglich und das Personal ist äußerst freundlich.

Sehr schönes Lokal, nette Bedienung...Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich war das erste mal dort und bin sehr entäuscht. Ich hatte Filet mit Metxasauce. Das war kein Filet sondern irgendwelche Fleischfetzen. Die Metaxasauce ist einfach ungenießbar. Pommes waren abgezählt und pappig. Anstatt Pommes oder Reis so wie es zum Gericht auf der Karte stand gab es kalte Kartoffelspalten für mein Mann. Die Krönung war ......Als wir die Rechnung angefordert haben und bezahlten habe ich gefragt ob wir noch eine Ouzo bekommen könnten. Natürlich hätte ich den auch bezahlt......die Antwort vom Kellner... "Wenn sie tiefer in die Tasche gegriffen hätten beim Trinkgeld wäre noch ein Ouzo drin. Wir sollten mal daran denken das die Angestellten auf das Trinkgeld angewiesen sind. Ich war geschockt. Wir haben ein gutes Trinkgeld gegeben...was will man denn noch? Nie wieder werden wir dort essen

Sehr zu empfehlen, minimale Kritik: Aschenbecher auf den Tischen haben auch im Außenbeleuchtung nichts zu suchen

Wir waren mit einen befreundeten Paar zum Essen. Leider bin ich sehr enttäuscht wurden. Obwohl viel Personal dort war, mussten wir über 30 Minuten warten bis wir überhaupt bedient wurden. Des weiteren wurde nicht das bestellte Essen serviert. Die Bedienung war auch mit den trinken von USO beschäftigt!!!!. Beim bezahlen wurde uns "bestimmt " alles auf einer Rechnung zu zahlen, wir können es ja später unter uns teilen. Da wir es nicht wollten, teilte die Bedienung einfach die Rechnung durch 2.Alles im allen kann und werde ich dieses Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Ich bin schwer enttäuscht!!!!!

Absolut empfehlenswert! Bei bestem Wetter konnten wir das wunderschöne Ambiente in vollen Zügen genießen. Von der herzlichen Begrüßung bis zum zu den Speisen und Aperitif hat hier wirklich alles gestimmt. Essen und Getränke waren authentisch

Sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal ist zuvorkommend und höflich. Die Toiletten sehr sauber.

Schönes Ambiente,gutes Essen. Etwas teurer, aber authentisch. Von Gerichten sind Samos, Kreta und Nord ziemlich present.

Waren wiedermal im Troja und immer wieder lecker 😋. Sehr gute Portionen bei angenehmen Preisen. Kompetenter Service bei herzlicher Begrüßung . Reservierung wäre empfehlenswert. Negativ ist nur die Parkplatz Situation da kostenpflichtig. Für den Gast vom Restaurant müsste man eine Lösung finden.

Wir waren hier zu einer Familienfeier und von allem mega begeistert. Sehr kompetenter Service. Große Portion wie man sich das beim Griechen wünscht. Es gab leckeren Ouzo gutes Bier riesen Portionen, so wie man es sich wünscht. Wirklich alle waren begeistert. Dank ans Personal.

Leckere, große Portionen & sehr schneller und freundlicher Service. Preise sind noch in Ordnung. Eine Reservierung ist je nach Tag empfehlenswert.

Waren Samstag dort und es war richtig viel los aber nach einer kurzen Wartezeit haben wir unseren Tisch bekommen. Das Essen haben wir auch relativ schnell bekommen und es war wie immer super wie immer. Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen!

Große Familienfeier mit kleinen Kindern. Sehr gut aufgenommen, immer ein liebes Wort zu den Kindern, keine Probleme, sehr kinderfreundlich

Die Gerichte sind gut gewürzt und die Portionen großzügig. Einzig die Wartezeit könnte verbessert werden, aber das ist nicht weiter tragisch. Insgesamt ist es ein toller Ort für ein entspanntes Abendessen.

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag im Troja mit mehreren Personen essen. Also ich war schon bei vielen Griechen aber das war mit Abstand das schlechteste. Gyros Pfanne lauwarm, Pommes nicht durch, 3x Scheiben Brot für 8 Salate,Blumenkohl hart ,wirklich sehr langes warten für diverse Bestellungen bzw Rechnungen. Nachbstellungen (klein Gerichte) kamen in unterschiedlichen Portionsgrößen. Die Bedienungen waren überfordert und meiner Meinung nach auch unterbesesetzt. Sorry aber Troja nie wieder...

Das Restaurant Troja in Magdeburg hat uns postiv überrascht. Habe selten so einen flotten und netten Ober erlebt, der uns gleich mal mit einem Ouzo überraschte. Die Gerichte kamen schnell und waren von sehr guter Qualität. Die Preise sind moderat. Schade, dass wir nicht in Magdeburg leben, das Troja wäre unsere "Stammkneipe" !

Wir waren zu früh unsere Reservierung hatte sich zeitgleich auch etwas verzögert Aber es wurde eine Lösung gefunden. Top Service, freundliches und lustiges Personal. Das Essen war sehe lecker und reichlich. Die Preise sind fair. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Also der Chef war super nett doch wir wurden am Tisch 2 über 45 Minuten ignoriert bevor wir essen bestellen konnten und dann insgesamt über 1 1/2 Stunden eh das essen gekommen ist. Ich habe Verständnis für Gastro Leute und das es stressig ist wenn es voll ist. Doch ein 10er Tisch & mehrere Kleine die 20-45 Minuten nach uns ankommen und dann 20 Minuten vor uns essen ist einfach respektlos. 2 Stunden waren wir hier & mussten rechtzeitig los dafür keinerlei Respekt vom Personal, nur vom Chef/ Teamleiter. Schlechte Kooridnierung und das vom wem der ebenfalls in Gastro tätig ist.

Tolles Team es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant.

It was supposed to be a pleasant evening, but the guys there are simply already full and don't want any customers. It's a shame that the waiter arrived with a cold saganaki, which cost a whopping €8.50, and was apparently forgotten to put in the fryer, not to mention the fact that he reprimanded the customers that everything was always fresh... Unfriendly, unable to take criticism, just a quick turnaround. The place was good at first, but the money seems to have slipped in, so this was our last time there...

If you're in MD, go to Troja. Simply perfect and always busy. Tip: Reservations are essential. When I read complaints here, I often wonder what these guests expected. Great Greek food is often not typical of German cuisine. I can only recommend going there and gaining your own experience; it's worth it.

Nice restaurant. Prices are reasonable. One thing isn't so great: you have to wait a long time for your food because it's very busy and there aren't enough waiters. Otherwise, it's nice. The waiters are polite, which is something you sometimes miss in German restaurants.

Very unfriendly waiter. The fried potatoes had never been cooked in a pan. When I complained, I was advised to go to a German restaurant (they can do better). I didn't get frozen potato wedges as a side dish at the Greek restaurant either. Once and never again...........

We highly recommend the Troja restaurant. We decided on the spur of the moment to reserve four places and went there for dinner. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We were even able to bring our two small dogs. We highly recommend the Troja restaurant.

Food and service OK. The major downside: NO card payments accepted. Therefore, this restaurant will probably be out of the question for future visits.

The food was good and plentiful. It took a while before we could order, but what's really unacceptable is that they only accept cash payments and don't accept card payments. A small sign at the entrance points out this.

We have been to this restaurant several times and must regret to say that it has taken a negative turn. Firstly we were completely forgotten at the table and waited for half an hour and nothing happened. Then we asked a waiter if we could order something. He first said that the drinks were ok, then another 20 minutes went by and then the drinks came. We actually wanted to order food afterwards and he left again. Another quarter of an hour passed and we could finally order our food after having spent an hour in the restaurant. We were looking forward to this meal as we always enjoy it but unfortunately we were very disappointed 😞 the prawns still had the intestines in them and that ruined the whole taste. Gritting our teeth, she took it back and didn't charge us for the other food which was full of paprika powder, not exactly good for people with allergies. We pointed out that I couldn't eat it due to my allergy, but they became very unfriendly and said it was okay to decorate the edge of the plate. I can understand that, but sprinkling it all over the food isn't good, so I sent it back, but we were still charged for it. In conclusion, the staff were very unfriendly, and the food isn't what we were used to. Leaving a restaurant hungry is unusual; that was our last visit to Troja.

There was a swell selection of food. The food was delicious and plentiful. Unfortunately, one waiter was quite amused when he brought me a round of ouzo and I asked for a non-alcoholic version.

Disappointing – Closed despite reservation We had made a reservation at the Troja restaurant in Magdeburg for an important family celebration (school enrollment). The shock was even greater when we found the doors closed on the day of the celebration – without any prior notice. This was not only annoying for us, but also significantly spoiled a special day. Unfortunately, this is not how you treat guests. Edit: The reservation was already made in March!!!

We were given a menu, but we couldn't order and we weren't served any further.

Unfortunately, one of the restaurant's employees (Achi) has made extremely homophobic comments on Instagram. I cannot and will not support such behavior.

It was a birthday, and we were packed like sardines, even though not all the tables were occupied. The food was okay. Additional orders, like ice cream, only arrived after two requests. Cappuccino didn't arrive at all. The fact that a restaurant doesn't have its own parking isn't great. Thank goodness I was invited.

Sorry I can only give the food 2 stars...why was there a hair in the food...I said it, the plate was taken away from me with an expression on my face as if I had done it on purpose, there wasn't even an apology...yes it happens, we're all only human, but an apology or a small token of appreciation for the inconvenience could have been made....

This evening, four of us went to eat at the "TROJA" restaurant. The food was tasty and plentiful. What we didn't like at all was that the ouzo (before the meal) and the "Greetings from the Kitchen," which we didn't order, were included in our bill. That's unacceptable. 😡 I checked again, and the ouzo wasn't on the house, but was billed to us. Maybe you'll check again.

This is a campsite with excellent facilities and a very friendly, helpful owner who takes great care of you. The prices for overnight stays and at the snack bar are very reasonable! I highly recommend it.

If the name "TROY" inevitably brings to mind the beautiful Helen, her Hector, Melenaus, Odysseus, and all the others, you're absolutely right. Troy was the region, and according to Homer's Iliad, the actual city. But that's all aside. Everyone associates Troy with Greece and, with it, with good food. And that's exactly what showed us once again the dedication with which food can be prepared. First, there was uzo, which is a must, and garlic bread. Then the salad, which you apparently don't get in every restaurant these days. Here, again, the salad and garlic bread were enough to fill you up. The food, once again, surpassed everything. My baked fillet with potatoes was a dream. My ex-fiancée and now wife was thrilled with her gyro, and our chef was more than impressed with the chicken breast steak with herb butter. If you think that's just talk, you should see for yourself. We've been there several times now and will continue to go there. The service, the ambiance, everything is very good and completes the overall picture of this restaurant. The waiters are friendly until the end. No complaining or bad mood. Everyone should have this experience at least once. But. What would be a nice description without one flaw? But to get straight to the point. These two points aren't due to the restaurant. Or are they? You can see it however you want. I blame the good name of the restaurant "Troja", which is located next to the AMO, by the way. 1.) Please reserve a table. We saw it again yesterday. Spontaneity is difficult. I ordered the day before. 2.) And that's the city. Even on Sundays, you have to pay in the parking lot. If you don't, you'll get a ticket like I did. And that was at 5:30 p.m. on a Sunday evening. But the €25 was worth it if you had the meal with it. In short. All in all, Troy is worth a visit. Visit it and experience it for yourself.

A very nice Greek restaurant. Friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere make this a popular spot for hungry people. Drinks and food arrive fairly quickly after ordering. Always delicious, and we enjoy coming here.

We had a table reservation and stopped by Troja's outdoor area in warm weather. Troja, for me, is a mediocre restaurant in Magdeburg. The food was okay. My gyro was very burnt in places. There wasn't enough tzatziki for the rather full plate. 3 stars overall.

We had gyros and liver, among other dishes. Unfortunately, it was overcooked, meaning it was extremely dry. The fried pepperoni with garlic, on the other hand, was delicious, and the tzatziki was also good.

Very pleasant atmosphere and the food was very tasty, the portions were reasonable and the service was also very good. We would love to come back!

That was a direct hit 🙂 in Magdeburg, we got a seat quickly without a reservation, there was a lot to do, the restaurant was very busy on Tuesday. We were served quickly and welcomed with ouzo to start. Then a greeting came from the kitchen, which was also very 😋 delicious. The food was a dream, decently sized portions with very good seasoning. The restaurant is highly recommended, friendly staff 👍 Price performance is right, I'll definitely come back. For me the 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ are absolutely deserved, thank you.

I would love to give it -5 stars! Unfortunately I have to give one in order to be able to write something, but they don't deserve it at all. We've been there several times and eaten and drank something. Today we just wanted something to drink. We were then informed that they were a 'dining restaurant'... even though there were more tables available than would be good for an operator... we don't come here anymore. Neither to eat nor to drink. Put your Greek specialties where the sun doesn't shine for you. And goodbye.

Disappointing and a bitter experience. Never again! Greek farmer's salad was the worst and loveliest salad I've ever eaten. When I asked kindly what kind of feta cheese it actually was (there were three crumbs of it in it, like grated cheese), the waiter arrogantly told me that's how it is here in Greece. Unfortunately there were no olives to be found either. Then I pointed it out nicely. And then I got olives and the bill for olives :-) So I had to pay for my olives twice. I didn't want to ruin the evening and thought that I wouldn't come here again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but rather advise against it. I am often in Greece and have Greek friends and for me they were not Greeks like I have met so far. Arrogant and unfriendly! I hope not everyone there is like that. I knew a chef who worked there years ago, his name was Hristo, he was a real chef. Although a salad can also be made by a waiter. The main thing is with love. My answer: I didn't mistake your restaurant! And you probably weren't even here when Hristo cooked here. He wasn't with you for long. Now he has a restaurant on Crete in Sitia. Now you know which Hristos. Despite your answer, I am very disappointed. You need to put in the effort again like you did when you first started. And don't treat customers like μαλακές.

We were in Troy for the first time for a small family celebration. The food was super delicious! Our son has numerous food allergies and they reacted really well to it and saw that we could prepare a little something for him separately. We thought that was really great. We spent a lovely evening there and can highly recommend it!

Although we said when we entered that we just wanted a drink, we were quickly seated for two. Afterwards, 3 different waiters came and told us that we had only been seated with food and that they had already turned away many guests. We then offered to leave, but ended up getting our wine. However, we couldn't enjoy this. We won't be coming back

For a family celebration, among other things, Cretan potatoes, rice and Metaxa sauce were ordered. When I unpacked it at home, I noticed that none of it had been included. Instead, there were other side dishes and sauces that were not ordered. Any accommodation for the inexplicable error in any form was refused over the phone. Too bad 👎

This was my first time there. The waiters were friendly and quick, but unfortunately they forgot a few things. I found the Florinis as a starter for 11€ to be quite expensive, for 2 mini peppers. I know it differently, from other Greeks. The main course was a sufficiently large portion, but the taste was just mediocre. Parking spaces are available, but a parking ticket must be obtained. I think I'll go back to my regular Greek restaurant next time.

I had number 44. Salmon with potatoes and cauliflower. The salmon was really very good, but what I disliked were the side dishes. The cauliflower pieces were cooked too long and were covered with a ready-made hollandaise. The potatoes were the Obergau. They were watery and, because they were kept warm, the color was whitish and simply inedible. But I was then offered an alternative. The staff was great!

Nach (sehr) langer Zeit mal wieder das Troja besucht. Die Begrüßung war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Noch vor Aufnahme der Bestellung gab es einen Ouzo und einen Gruß aus der Küche. Klasse! Zwischen der Bestellung und dem Servieren des Essens verging eine gute halbe Stunde. Völlig im Rahmen, die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und heiß. Die Qualität und Qualität sind richtig gut, die Preise, die dafür aufgerufen werden, sind günstig. Nur der Service.... Nach dem Servieren machte man einen Bogen um unseren Tisch. Weder wurde sich nach der Zufriedenheit erkundigt, noch war es möglich, ein Getränk (nach) zu bestellen. Als wir fertig waren, ging es dann wieder (zu) schnell. Ich hatte noch nicht einmal ausgekaut, da wurde schon der Teller weggezogen und nur knapp gefragt "Alles ok?" Das war alles; keine Frage nach Wünschen (Dessert, Espresso...). Es hat sich auch in der Folgezeit niemand nach unseren Wünschen erkundigt. Das lag aber weder an zu vielen Gästen (6 Tische besetzt) noch an zu wenig Personal (4 Kellner, 1 Barmann). Also haben wir es vorgezogen zu bezahlen und uns auf den Heimweg gemacht. Schade!
