The two golden stags have now become "The Little Steakhouse at the Two Golden Stag," and anyone who remembers the dark, atmospheric ambiance of the two stags from about 25 years ago will hardly recognize this place. It has been renovated and furnished in a truly stylish way. The menu mainly features steaks and burgers of various flavors, along with a selection of salads and side dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. It's definitely a good idea to make a reservation if you're dining with a group. Besides the main dining room, there's a small private room and a conservatory area. In the summer, there's also a lovely little beer garden. There were four of us, and we ordered two steaks, one salmon fillet, and one Hot Devil Burger. Everything came with a side salad, fries, or a baked potato. And the steak menu included two slices of Knovi bread as a starter, followed by a small digestif—either a Baileys, a Ramazzotti, or an espresso. Nothing was left on the plates, and not because the portions were too small—no, no, there was plenty—but because it was so delicious and we enjoyed every last bite. And I'd say the price is quite reasonable. Just over €30 for the complete menu with two drinks is practically a bargain these days. We were all very impressed and will definitely be back soon. A clear recommendation from us.

We went to the small steakhouse last week and were curious, as some friends/acquaintances had been there several times before. Regarding the food: The menu is varied, and we particularly liked the two set menus, as you can customize your meal to your liking at what we consider a fair price for a steakhouse. We ordered rump steak and filet mignon, both cooked medium. The rump steak was cooked perfectly! Unfortunately, the filet mignon was overcooked. We complained about this, which brings us to the service. Unfortunately, we have to say that we have never experienced such unfriendly service in a restaurant. After taking our order, we were asked several times what we wanted as an appetizer – an octopus salad or pieces of octopus on a bed of lettuce. We have no idea what the difference is – there's only one type of octopus listed as an appetizer on the menu. When we complained about the filet mignon, (we assume) the owner or head waitress came over and told us in an outrageous manner that it was impossible to cook such thin steaks to "medium." Our friends, with whom we were dining and who frequent the steakhouse, said they had ordered the filet mignon several times before and it had always been cooked perfectly medium. Visibly annoyed, the two plates of filet mignon (our friends also ordered one) were taken back, and we were told that they would prepare new filet mignon, but that medium was simply not possible. Well, what do you know, when the dish returned, it was cooked to "medium" perfectly! Once three out of four of us had finished eating, the plates were cleared, including the salad plate of the person still eating. Furthermore, the server reached over the plate of the person still eating, which is unacceptable. We generally dislike it when plates are cleared while people are still eating. To end on a positive note regarding the service – they regularly checked in to see if everything was alright and if we wanted to order another drink. In conclusion: It's understandable that a steak might not be cooked to the exact doneness ordered. The food was good, although we've certainly had better at other steakhouses. I think we've already covered the service in detail. While we were served, the staff's demeanor made us feel unwelcome. We won't be returning to this small steakhouse.

We went to this small steakhouse last week for a family celebration. The restaurant itself is very nice inside, and the beer garden is cozy and nicely shady in the summer. Unfortunately, the service that day was a complete disaster. The waitress was completely overwhelmed. When we tried to order a drink, we were rudely informed that she still had plenty of drink orders to process, and the order wasn't taken! Unfortunately, this has happened a lot. A colleague joined us during the food distribution. This time, too, there was little hospitality or friendliness. The colleague suggested simply putting the side dishes out, as we didn't know who had ordered what anyway. The appetizers were truly delicious, the main courses were delicious but sometimes cold, and since the side dishes and main courses were served separately, we unfortunately had to wait longer for everything to arrive. This could have been avoided by distributing the food table by table. All desserts were exceptionally good and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the service was not convincing at all and we will avoid the steakhouse in the future, it can be done much better elsewhere

We had a lovely evening. Prices were very reasonable for a steakhouse. However, the steaks were completely lacking in roasted flavor. Perhaps a lava grill should be considered...

A true little gem among steakhouses! 🥩✨ This restaurant really surprised me and deserves the title of a hidden gem. The beef fillet was absolutely outstanding in terms of quality and doneness – one of the best I've ever eaten. Cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The prices are absolutely fair for a steakhouse and more than justified considering the quality offered. The service was attentive, friendly, and pleasantly unobtrusive – all around perfect. I would definitely be happy to return and highly recommend the restaurant – especially for anyone who wants to enjoy good meat in a relaxed atmosphere.

Went to eat with 13 people. Staff were completely overwhelmed. Young woman had to do everything on her own. 2nd waitress was very rude. Entered at 7:00 PM. Finally ate at 9:15 PM. Complaints were responded to rudely. We won't be back.

We always loved coming here. Sometimes even every week. Nowadays, we don't feel welcome anymore. Always those grumpy, stressed faces. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is no longer right for us. It's a real shame, we used to love coming here.

The prices are those of a good steakhouse, but the atmosphere is like a pub. The entrecôte is juicy and fresh. Not enough salt and pepper on the table.

You can order a steak menu or individual items. The service is fast, but a smile would be a nice touch to complement the good food. We've always had a great meal. The steaks are always excellent. Reservations are highly recommended.

Small, inconspicuous restaurant with sparse decoration… but an extremely good steak (both lamb, fillet and rump steak)! The cooking level was excellent and the side dishes were also very tasty. The waitress was friendly and attentive. If you don't need a fancy atmosphere for your steak, this is definitely the place for you 😉

Overall, satisfactory to good! The greeting from the owner was icy, which lasted through the entire evening. Service was friendly but very, very bad - a knife was placed with the soup instead of a spoon, in some cases there were 5 empty glasses and additional empty plates on the table, even though the service staff was at the table several times. Waiting time for food was too long :(((

We opted for the gourmet menu. Service was good, meat was only lightly fried and therefore had no grill flavors, a shame.

The food was incredibly tasty - from the salad to the dessert, it was simply outstanding! The meat was fried until buttery soft and the cooking level was perfect! The service was also very nice and attentive. All around just satisfied, you can taste the quality here. If you haven't been here yet, you should change that as soon as possible :)

Food was very good. Steaks would have needed a little more time to reach the desired level of doneness, but that's "criticism" at a high level. Cesar salad was great. The farmer's salad also tastes very good. Service was very friendly. The place is cozy and you feel comfortable here. I'll stop by again when I get the chance.

We had an all-round successful meal in a class of its own. Unfortunately, the BBQ Burger as a menu item was already too much for the patty, but it was still very successful. My wife had the 'Feinschme menu' as entrecôte medium rare and it was excellent. One of the addresses that you can absolutely recommend. There is a deduction of 1 star because the patty was unfortunately too cooked. But, we'll come back and look forward to being able to give the full rating if necessary. P.S. Dette sted er et helt fantastisk steak-house. Stedet er relativt lille, men meget hyggeligt. Vi var et selskab på 10 personer og bestilte noget forskellig - de tilbyder at stege bøfferne i 6 forskellige måder. Vi fik alle 300 gram bøf, og de blev stegt som: Bleu, english, medium rare & medium - alle var stegt til perfektion. Jeg og flere andre, fik beauf tartare som forret - den bedste jeg til dato har smagt. Virkeligt et besøg værd.

The menu offers a varied selection of dishes. Particularly noteworthy is the quality of preparation, where each meal is created with great care and passion. It really is one of the restaurants we love to return to again and again - both for the first-class food and the feel-good atmosphere. For us, it is definitely one of the top addresses in and around Nuremberg/Fürth, which we can warmly recommend to everyone. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. What you get for your money here is truly incredible. It is very cozy and the staff is also super friendly. We have been here for the second time now and will definitely come more often. So far I have always had the fillet steak on the menu and every time it was super tender and nice to eat. The side dishes are also extremely tasty. And the herb butter is also the best I've ever had with a steak. After our second visit, we are still grateful to have found such a steak restaurant! ✅

The food here is excellent and the staff is super friendly. However, the interior doesn't match the standard of the food. It's very uncomfortable, the lamps hang directly from the ceiling, the choice of curtains... there's still room for improvement! Indirect light on the walls can work wonders! 5 stars for the food. However, since the ambience is very important to me, we won't be coming back (for now).

Dad's food was much better this time than before! The starters: shrimp skewer and especially the octopus salad - really brilliant. Geheimtipp! Würde auch 10 Sterne geben. Sind aus Leipzig auf der Durchreise, spontan Steakhouse gegoogelt und gefunden, angerufen, Tisch reserviert und dann gab es das Beste Rumpsteak was ich seit langem gegessen habe. Dazu Ofenkartoffel die auch perfekt war. Ambiente ist mega angenehm und sauber, sehr nette Bedienung! Klare Empfehlung.

Zum ersten mal hier gewesen, sehr gut besucht, da haben wir einen kleinen Tisch im "Garten" bekommen. Ambiente ist ok. Zum Trinken gab es Hugo , Wasser und Kellerbier. So weit so gut. Bestellt haben wir einmal das " Steak Menü" mit einem Entrecotè Medium rare, Steak pommes und Farmersalat. Zum zweiten einen Steak Teller, mit selbigen Beilagen. Service, schnell und freundlich. Steakteller war super, schön gebraten. Hauptgang " "Menü" war ok, Garpunkt lag darüber, behielt es trotzdem.( es wurde mir angeboten) Zu den Beilagen, der hausgemachte Farmersalat, ist einfach Mega. Zu Pommes schreibe ich jetzt mal nichts,knusprig ,kross, so wie sie sein sollen.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Wir bekamen schnell ein Tisch. Die Bedingung war sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Das Essen kam wie bestellt. Kinder Gericht, wie bestellt, mit der Vorspeise zusammen. Kriegen leider nicht alle so gut hin. Danke! Klare Weiterempfehlung.

Fand ich super! "Holzteller" wollte ich gerne statt 1 Scheibe Knoblauchbrot (kostet bei den Starters 4,5€ ) lieber potato wedges (4,5 €) haben. Wäre nicht ohne Aufpreis gegangen. Sehr leckere Steaks auf dem Punkt. Die Filetspitzen waren ein Traum. Die Kombi Steakplatte waren geschmacklich und qualitativ top. Auch die Beilagen und der Service konnten überzeugen.

Sehr nette Gastgeber. Super leckeres Essen. Auf jeden Fall mehrere besuche wert. Steak super auf dem GarPunkt gebracht. Preise sind sehr fair, Qualität super.

Als Abschluß einer Einkaufstour durch Nürnberg, gut geeignet! Der im Hof befindliche, verglaste "Wintergarten" löst sicher so manches Raumproblem sollte jedoch im Winter besser geheizt werden. Die bei einer Servicekraft vorhandenen Wissenlücken zum Wein wurden von einem Kollegen sehr nett und gut ausgeglichen, wie auch der Ton sehr nett und die Bedienung flott ist! Die gewählten Steaks waren sehr gut und vom Gargrad genau richtig. Die Preise sind vom Wein über die Vorspeisen bis bis zu den Steaks adäquat. Empfehlung für dieses Restaurant.

Obwohl ich hier regelmäßig das Essen "nur" zum Mitnehmen bestelle, wird es offensichtlich mit viel Liebe zum Detail vorbereitet. Egal was: Alles war bisher ausgezeichnet. Ich komme gerne auch weiterhin hier her.

Schönes gemütliches kleines Restaurant , freundliche Chefin, Top Essen , warme Teller, komme wieder 👍, Menü zum Festpreis mit auswählbaren Steaks , Beilagen , Salat , Kaffees finde ich schön !

Der Pächter hat gewechselt, die Karte wurde übernommen, erweitert um Burger. Eigentlich ein Versprechen auf die Tradition, leider wurden die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Es war insgesamt nicht schlecht, aber jeder Gang, war etwas unter dem Bekannten, schade.

Wir hatten Glück und aufs Geradewohl eine Sitzplatz bekommen, normalerweise sollte man sicher eher vorreservieren! Der, als Vorspeise bestellte Schafskäse kam recht zügig und schmeckte vorzüglich, hierzu passte auch der gute Chardonnay und der Pinot Grigio. Der Service ist ausgesprochen nett und flott, so daß man nicht vor einem leeren Glas sitzen muß! Die beiden Top-Rumpsteaks waren hervorragend, sowohl von der Fleischqualität wie auch von der Zubereitung, wie bestellt. Die Preise können nur als wirklich adäquat bezeichnet werden . Unsere absolute Empfehlung für dieses "Kleine Große Steakhaus"

Wir gehen schon seit 2 Jahren in das kleine Steakhaus. Das Essen war immer sehr gut, der Service sehr angenehm (man merkt das es ein inhabergeführtes Familienrestaurant ist) und Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar! In der Regel esse ich eines der angebotenen Menus. Das ist ein wirklich guter Salat (keine Fertigsalat mit Fertigdressing), anschliessend Lamm oder Filet (auf individuelle Wünsche wird eingegangen - 150Gramm sind mir einfach zu klein :-) ) und als Beilage Rosmarinkartoffeln oder Ofenkartoffel. Zu dem Menu gehört dann noch ein Schnaps oder Espresso. Einmal habe ich erlebt wie einem Gast die Garstufe seines Steaks nicht zusagte, dies wurde umgehend “nachgegrillt”. Danach war der Herr ebenfalls sehr zufrieden mit seinem Steak. Ein Restaurant zum Weiterempfehlen. Heute, in der Coronakrise, kann man dort Essen To Go bestellen und abholen. Die Hygieneregeln wurden penibel eingehalten, das Kartenlesegerät wurde sogar vir meinen Augen desinfiziert. Das Menu ist sogar billiger (Flasche Wein 10€) und hat wie immer hervorragend geschmeckt. Ich hoffe, die Betreiber werden die Coronakrise überstehen. Das Steakhaus wird von einer sehr netten Familie betrieben und kann auf uns zählen, sobald der reguläre Betrieb wieder aufgenommen wird. Bis dahin werden wir unser Essen abholen.

Kleines, feines Restaurant in dem sichtlich Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird. Essen schmeckt wunderbar und Preis-Leistung passen hier auf jeden Fall zusammen! Klare Empfehlung.

Ein Steakhaus im Nürnberger Norden gelegen, gut erreichbar mit PKW oder ÖPNV (Tram Linie 4). Der Name ist Programm, das Steakhaus befindet sich in einem alten Gebäude und bietet nur wenigen Gästen (manchmal etwas unbequemen) Platz. Im Sommer kann man auch manchmal im kleinem Garten hinter dem Haus sitzen. Im Winter meint man es mit der Heizung im Hauptgastraum oft zu gut, und es fehlt leider eine Lüftung. Die Steaks sind sehr gut, probieren Sie gerne das Menue mit großem Salat als Vorspeise, Beilagenwahl zum Steak und Nachspeise oder Kaffee zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Bedienung war bei unserem Besuch freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein absolutes "nogo":. Mehrere Tischzeiten am Abend. Es ist mehr als nervig, wenn die nächsten Gästen bereits auf Abruf bereit stehen! Die Getränkeauswahl ist ganz ok, neben dem (für mich "speziell schmeckenden", unverträglichen Lammsbräu Bier aus Neumarkt) kann man leider nur auf ein anderes Flaschenbier ausweichen. Weine sind etwas teuer, bis auf den angebotenen Hauswein.

Heute waren wir nach einem langen Messetag im Restaurant „zu den zwei goldenen Hirschen“. Wir bekamen eine sehr übersichtliche Karte die verspricht das der Koch weis wie man ein Steak richtig zubereitet. Uns wurde ein Menü bestehend aus 4 Verschiedenen Salaten, Steaks, Beilagen und einem Nachtisch oder versch. Steaks mit zuwählbaren Beilagen. Ich habe mich fürs 300 Gramm top Rumpsteak entschieden mit Bratkartoffeln und Zwiebeln, das war genau die richtige Entscheidung! Das Fleisch super zart und außen schön, fast schön knusprig angebraten, die Zwiebeln in Verbindung mit dem Balsamico waren der Knaller, und die Bratkartoffeln waren schön knusprig, alles in allem ein Spitzen essen! Der Preis war für die Fleischqualität fast schon zu günstig.. Ich kann es nur empfehlen und werde bei meinem nächsten Besuch hier wieder einkehren.

Kleines beschauliches Steakhaus, das seinem Namen alle Ehre macht. Die Steaks sind von guter Qualität und der Service ist gut. Insgesamt sehr ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Preise sind fair, was will man mehr....👍🏻

Netter Service, wir hatten einen wunderbaren Platz im Garten. Kleine, feine Karte. Gebraten auf den Punkt. Sehr, sehr lecker. Kartoffeln, Mixsalat,Steak und ein Espresso. Das war ein äußerst gelungenes Menü. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Hier bekommt man perfekt gebratene Steaks in fränkischer Ambiente. Die Karte ist übersichtlich, aber dafür sind alle Speisen perfekt zubereitet. Reservierung ist leider nötig. Im Sommer sitzt man auch schön im Biergarten.

Wir hatten ein Menü mit Steak und als Nachtisch den Brownie mit flüssigem Schokokern. Ich sags Euch ein Gedicht ;)

Waren zum zweiten Mal im Kleinen Steak Haus essen und werden sicher wieder kommen. Die Menüs sind preislich super und beinhaltet einen Salat, eine Beilage und ein Fleischgericht, also alles was man braucht. In die Kräuterbutter könnte ich mich legen so begeistert bin ich davon. Einziger Kritikpunkt, wer chic essen gehen will wird von der Location rein optisch enttäusch sein, man sitzt sehr eng und es ist laut. Wer aber vor allem gut essen will sollte mal vorbei schauen 👍

Wir haben im Nebenzimmer gesessen. Für 11 Personen ist es etwas zu klein. Sehr nette, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienungen. Steaks sind auf den Punkt gebraten. Das Gemüse war nicht ganz so lecker. Der Schokokuchen mit Eis war dafür sehr gut!!! Auf Sonderwünsche wird eingegangen. In der Speisekarte steht jedoch, bei Sonderwünschen 1€ extra. Das kam uns doch recht merkwürdig vor. Ich kann allerdings nicht sagen ob wir dies auch gezahlt haben, da ich die Rechnung nicht gesehen habe. Toilette könnte etwas sauberer sein.

From outside the restaurant looks like your average Bavarian or Franconian local restaurant. Indoors continues this style, but with hints of something extra. There aren't that many seats, so a reservation is strongly recommended or then visiting off-peak hours. It took a while to get the food, but that's fully ok as it was really cooked and not only re-heated. The steaks were pretty good (with excellent value), but the real diamond was the garlic bread. It was just something amazing and we'll be going back just because of it (ok, not only as the steaks were also good).
