A very large selection of dishes, especially at the evening buffet.

I first went to Zhou's with friends four years ago, and since then we've celebrated a friend's birthday there every year. The food was always delicious, and we happily returned to try new things. Despite noticing the staff's lack of hygiene over the years and the significant price increase, we decided to go back to Zhou's. The buffet used to look appetizing and appealing, but this time the food looked cheap and tasteless at first glance. It's to be expected that relatively expensive meat in an all-you-can-eat buffet wouldn't be of high quality, but the fact that the entrecote looked like grapefruit and had a rubbery texture was shockingly disgusting. Every single meat or fish dish was inedible—dry, cold, or tough—and completely ruined our appetite and enjoyment of the meal. Charging €25 for a plate of inedible food on a Saturday evening during peak hours was extremely disappointing. Where we used to fill our bellies with food for €25 and relax with a drink, this time it was €30 for a beer, because unfortunately one beer was the only enjoyable thing that evening.

We arrived at noon, the food at the buffet was freezing cold, the sushi was completely dry, the supposedly crispy duck was like an old, leathery rag, and we were told to find a seat by the window. Had we sat there, the waiter probably would have taken us even less seriously. We won't be going back.

The location is absolutely huge and very inviting. The vast selection and freshness of what's offered is simply fantastic. The service is incredibly attentive and very friendly. I love going there and always enjoy the variety and excellent service. I'm always happy to recommend it and will definitely be back. Thank you so much, please keep up the great work!

Very bad treatment and very rude staff. Never again

Unfortunately, only 2 stars today. Between 6:00 PM and 8:15 PM, the hot buffet was almost completely empty. Only after inquiring at the drinks counter did I learn that there were gas problems. Consequently, ordering one dish at the deli counter took 50 minutes. The second dish never arrived. There was also only soup available at the beginning. What bothered me was that the problem could have been pointed out upon entering the restaurant or throughout the meal. The price reduction, which was only offered after I asked, unfortunately didn't prevent the frustration. Since I've enjoyed eating here for years, it was somewhat disappointing. However, I expect that the usual quality and service will be restored on my next visit. I wish you all the best and hope you get through this evening unscathed. We returned after a long break. Apparently, we had just caught them on a bad day last time. Everything was great again, the food was delicious. The wait time for the buffet preparation was a bit long. I will come again.

I went to eat there today with my three children. The waiter was annoyed by my children from the very beginning and constantly made comments about them. When it was time to pay, he was very disrespectful to me, shouting at me in front of the other guests and calling me "shit." When I then tried to speak to the manager, I was thrown out and banned from the premises without any reason. When I refused to leave without speaking to the manager about the waiter's behavior, another employee approached me aggressively, getting very close and insulting me as well, all in front of my children. I have never experienced such antisocial behavior. I drove all the way from Lichtenrade. Never again! Besides all that, most of the food was cold and no longer fresh. Most of it didn't taste good at all.

Great "hidden" place. Extremely large selection of different dishes, ice cream bar, great desserts. You need to purchase at least one beverage with the buffet meal. In total, 3 full plates of food + dessert and a mock-tail cost me €32. Well worth it.

The largest Asian buffet in Berlin, and it shows. There's a wide selection of dishes, from salads, sushi, dumplings, ready-made Asian mixes with or without meat, grilled food to fries and sweets—there's definitely something for everyone. Just allow a little extra time for your plates to be grilled, depending on how busy they are. The staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is appropriately simple and fitting.

We were there today for a birthday party. The service was absolutely excellent and friendly. The food could have been a bit hotter, but that's a matter of opinion. Otherwise, it was really nice.

We visited the restaurant for the lunch buffet (€14.90) and received a very friendly welcome – the staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. The food was good overall, but not exceptional, and unfortunately, some of it wasn't really hot. It was also a bit of a shame that the lunch buffet's selection was quite limited: Some dishes served in the evening are completely missing at lunch. For example, there was no regular rice, and the freshly seared meat that you'd find at other buffets wasn't available at lunch either. I understand that the lunch buffet is cheaper and therefore offers a smaller selection, but I would have liked a bit more variety – especially with the sushi. All in all, a nice restaurant with friendly service, but the lunch buffet didn't quite impress me in terms of culinary quality. Therefore, I'm giving the food 3 out of 5 stars.

It's a shame they don't offer flower service anymore. I brought my own flowers and had them stored there until my reservation time. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was friendly.

What a drama. The food is all gone, and there are so many people there that the staff can't keep up. When the sushi is refilled, it almost comes to blows and people are shoving. Never again!

We've visited this Asian restaurant several times. It's a very cozy place to spend time with friends or family, celebrate a birthday, or simply enjoy a delicious meal and a chat. I especially love the wide selection of seafood – simply delicious! Meat lovers will also find their fill here. For children and those with a sweet tooth, there's chocolate fondue, various jellies, cakes, and ice cream. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend it. The food was of very poor quality, the service was disorganized and unattentive. Many items at the buffet were constantly empty and rarely refilled. Overall, a disappointing experience.

A really affordable buffet with a truly wide selection of dishes. I enjoyed it. Putting together the dishes for the live cooking was also a great pleasure for me. If you're looking for culinary excellence, a cheap food temple like this is the wrong place for you. You get what you pay for. The restrooms were perfectly fine. If anything is dirty there, it's only because of dirty guests. The staff were polite despite being at full capacity. The dishes, if empty, were served promptly.

Unfortunately, I cannot say that I enjoyed it. Maybe it was because we arrived after 2pm. In any case, the food was not fresh. It was very dry. Some I could not even chew at. It looked and tasted like left-overs. In any case, I tried little bits of basically everything, since it was my first time there. Horrible experience trying to eat through it, just so they would not charge me extra for spoiling food. I'm glad I did not gather huge amounts, like a friend, who was unable to finish. I could only find one sort of sushi roll with actual fish. Unfortunately, it felt dry and tasted like it was spoiled, like left overs. I washed it down with the pickled ginger. The sushi rolls were the reason I came to this place, by the way. I was so sad :( The meat was super seasoned which made it a challenge to eat. The only way I could figure this to be edible was by mixing it with the bland rice as a side dish, which my friends had allergies to. I suspect they do this as a strategy for people not to eat the meat. So they can save on the costs by selling terrible food. Maybe they have hard customers. I don't know. I really like buffet, but this is just not my thing. The staff was nice, polite and helpful, whenever I asked them anything. However, I did feel pressured by the staff to order drinks, which began the moment I entered and had not even taken a seat. The deserts were varied and tasty. The drinks were ok. Toilets were working in order. No foul smells during the meals or using the toilets. I'm very sorry to say, but it was a grueling experience to eat here and I don't think I will come back on my own initiative unless I'm only looking to eat deserts or some friend begs me to.

The large buffet with the Mongolian grill is SUPER for the price

Overall, everything tasted good. I'm missing a few things on the buffet signs, like vegetarian, vegan, etc.

Great food & great service, but unfortunately has a bit of a "large canteen feeling"

Everything is as they write in the reviews, the daily menu has a small selection and is tasteless, or everything is covered in a bunch of oil and very fried.

The selection is enormous, from ready-cooked meals to fresh produce for self-assembly and live cooking, which is then brought to your table. There's truly something for everyone, whether you're vegetarian, meat-loving, or a fish and seafood fan. There's sushi and warm dumplings, soups, and a gigantic selection of desserts, from fruit with or without chocolate from the chocolate fountain to cakes and various ice cream flavors. The only thing is, the live cooking is sometimes very salty. Some meat is simply fried "to death" and is a bit dry. The servers are incredibly friendly and discreetly clear away empty plates every now and then. Which is a bit of a shame, because it's so big, the air can be very stuffy and warm at times. The price is also outrageous; if you can't manage to eat "much," it's really not cheap. Otherwise, I always enjoy eating there.

Huge buffets with every imaginable Asian dish. We've been here several times and it's always been good. Very busy, but there's plenty of seating. We always enjoy coming back.

I am quite disappointed and have never experienced anything like this in a restaurant before. I reserved a table for 7 people on September 10th for September 13th for our son's school enrollment. The reservation was confirmed to us by email. Although I could see there was space for 7 people in the restaurant, we were asked to sit outside. When we were seated, we were told that due to high demand, the kitchen could not offer an à la carte menu, although we had not been informed of this in advance by phone or in writing. Nor is there any mention of this on their website. So we would have had to just take the experience buffet for €24.90 per person, it was a case of either/or. The waiter was very nice to us and understanding, informing us that he was not responsible for this decision. The end result is that we drove home with a crying school-age child and unfortunately I can only say positively that the restaurant looks very good.

The evening buffet (from 5 p.m.) is truly extensive: sushi, several hot dishes, Asian specialties, seafood, meat and vegetables are specially fried and brought to your table, fruit, cakes, ice cream, and the chocolate fountain. Truly impressive! The price (approx. €25 per person) is also completely reasonable! What's really annoying is the very, very high noise level from the guests, which has been the case for several years! ...very loud conversations from other groups of guests: more of a market atmosphere, children unsupervised!!, cell phone videos played loudly. The staff doesn't say anything about it! So if you're unlucky, you won't hear your own voice. It's not (anymore) cozy!! What a pity! The obligation to consume one drink per person also takes some getting used to. I think it's a good thing that there's a €20.00 charge if you leave a lot of food unattended.

The worst tasting Chinese food I have ever tasted. We were there just after the opening for lunch but all the fried items like calamari, crispy duck etc. we're not edible. The number of dishes were adequate but that's just it. The gravy items you can only taste the salt but no flavors. Never again.

We were there for lunch today and were truly disappointed. The quality of the food left a lot to be desired. Much of it was cold, didn't seem fresh, and tasted rather bland. The restrooms were also in poor condition. That's not good for us at all. We definitely won't be coming back.

It has slipped from five stars to two stars in the last two years. The staff are slow and listless, the food selection has become very poor. Today there wasn't much food like last time, cocktails are served in normal glasses. Why am I paying €25 per person? I can't afford more than €15.

Great selection, live cooking, a small point deduction because the grilling ingredients were frozen. Everything was delicious and not like most places where everything tastes the same! So the Food was very tasty not gonna lie, but the service was sooooo not nice. She came to us and looked at us like if we are enemys. She asked us for a Drink in a very rude way. ( Which we didnot want but had to) Any little food wasted will you cost you as a extra dish for 20 euros. So litterly leave a small thing and you have to pay 20 euros. Been here for the third time. Unfortunately, there were some quality issues this time. The baked banana tasted terrible, dry and flavorless. My friend's cocktail was very watery. The signage wasn't always accurate. Therefore, unfortunately, only 3 stars.

Unfortunately, the food from the buffet wasn't that tasty. We tried a few things, but overall, we weren't impressed. The staff weren't attentive when it came to reordering drinks. The menus were extremely sticky and not very attractive. We won't be going back.

Unfortunately, my birthday at this restaurant turned out to be a huge disappointment. We came with a large group—family and friends—and expected good service and a reasonable selection of food. The sushi selection was very limited. The red fish sushi was practically inedible and, overall, absolutely not tasty. There were only about five seafood options to choose from. The kids enjoyed the chocolate fountain, but unfortunately, it was just a fluffy chocolate coating. You could basically eat something, but for almost €200, I expected a lot more. There was no children's room. The restrooms were very dirty, and the cooking area was broken. When I asked for wipes or diapers, I was told they didn't have them. The staff stood there the whole time, staring at us as if we were trying to steal something. We're very tidy people and ate everything we ordered. Everyone took two drinks, plus a large bottle of wine for the guests. As we left, my son asked the staff member if there was a little song, a piece of cake, or a liqueur for his mother—since it was my birthday—as is customary in many restaurants. The answer was: No, we don't have that here and we're not supposed to. Additionally, there was a very strange waiter who kept shouting loudly at his colleagues. Other guests were visibly shocked and watched in disbelief. The climax came when, as I was leaving, I mentioned it was my birthday and asked if I could take a rose from the table (there were many there). The answer was a resounding no. A very stingy owner. Overall, it was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had on one of my birthdays. I will tell all my friends and acquaintances about this and advise them to avoid this restaurant—and I'm only telling the truth.

Food is good and diverse. The space is HUGE !!! Frinks are NOT included in the buffet. You need to order a drink to eat the buffet. Waiters are very friendly, make a lot of jokes and generell the whole place and atmosphere are good. I liked it. You can also make your own sauces and eat some grilled food.

The restaurant is located in a small shopping center. There is ample parking. The restaurant has a large number of tables. When we were there, about a quarter of the tables were occupied. There is a large buffet with a wide selection and relatively good quality food. The labeling of the dishes was somewhat poor. For example, there was a generic label saying "Dumpling," but there were 6-7 different varieties to choose from. It would be helpful if you could at least roughly read the contents (e.g., sweet, with vegetables, with meat, etc.). We had to be very patient with the live grill. Unfortunately, the order for the entire table was collected, so it took almost an hour for the food to be served. The service was very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is okay as long as you don't look up at the ceiling. In general, I found it very noisy. This could be due to the lack of ceiling paneling, as concrete doesn't dampen sound.

Super all you can eat buffet for young and old

Yes, I would have happily eaten 100 times more, but when you're full, you're full. Prices are OK. Many nationalities frequent this restaurant. A pleasant experience.

You probably have to like a concept like this. It's not my cup of tea. It's loud, extremely crowded, and waiting in line at the buffet is a real nuisance. The food itself is okay, and the service works hard to keep everything under control. The cleanliness still has potential. I'll go to the lovely restaurant next door next time.

Descriptions and drinks service could be improved.

The food was not tasty at all and there was very little of it, completely different from the pictures. There was no variety of dishes to choose from, and the service was very poor.

I wanted to make an appointment by phone today. Unfortunately, the person who answered my call was extremely rude. Since they obviously didn't understand my request, they simply hung up – without offering any explanation or giving me the opportunity to clarify my concerns. This kind of behavior is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. If someone doesn't speak sufficient German, they shouldn't be assigned to telephone customer service. I am very disappointed by this incident and will share my experience with others. This kind of thing shouldn't happen.

The buffet is excellent. Very tasty. Lots of variety. If you can't find anything there, you should stay home. The ambiance isn't that great. But I want to eat there, not fall in love with the blanket, etc. I think it's fair to consume at least one drink per person at the buffet, and I think it's great that people who fill their plates and then leave almost everything back have to pay a €20 fine. There's always parking. One negative point... the restrooms are anything but clean.

Always delicious and large selection

Today is my third visit here. I took my time writing this review, as I was a bit unsure until now, but today my opinion has solidified. Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I value interpersonal relationships. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in that regard. The staff aren't unfriendly, and I'm sure some of them make an effort, but unfortunately, the reserved manner and arrogance of some of those who are obviously higher up in the hierarchy in this dining establishment are not my cup of tea. The food is definitely inadequate for the price and the restaurant's standards. It doesn't taste explicitly bad, but when it comes to gourmet restaurants, I've experienced far better. Finally, there are also long waits for service, regardless of whether it's full or not. So, in my observation, the crowd is only due to the good location. Perhaps the restaurant will get another chance, but my recommendation to Google (as a local guide) and to you, as my readers, is not currently. Grade 3 (satisfactory). Update Summer 2025: Went here for the buffet. The place was quite dirty, with stains all over the tables and glass and mirror surfaces, some of the floor was sticky, and the ingredients in the food weren't very fresh. The taste was too salty, and the sushi wasn't fresh either. Unfortunately, it's still quite disappointing here... What a shame, considering the potential...

Big chinese buffet place. Plenty of Veggie options and even more for Meatlovers. Dim sum and sushi buffet. They have event cooking, which had great ingredients, but my veggies were raw. A great variety of desserts. It's a big place, so kinda loud.

The price-performance ratio could be a bit better. The lamb was very fatty. The preparation depends largely on the chef in charge.

Very delicious. There were five of us there. I had hot and sour soup with vegetables for starters, followed by sushi, and then some hearty dishes like fried noodles, meat, etc. Then for dessert, jelly, ice cream, tiramisu, etc. All from the buffet! 😁

So, I went there for the first time, and the huge buffet blew me away. They have everything your heart desires, and with the clips at the table, you can even have your plate freshly prepared. The food definitely deserves 5 stars. Unfortunately, the waiter almost ignored us at the end, even though we would have liked another drink, so only 4 stars for service. I had to deduct one star for the ambiance because the restroom smelled all the way into the hallway and felt anything but clean. Please change that, because it was so great with you!

This restaurant is more like a canteen. It gets so busy that the staff can barely keep up with hygiene, and the chairs and tables are often still greasy and oily. The food here is sometimes world-class and sometimes district-class, it's a matter of luck. The noise level is very loud, so it's not really a place for a quiet evening. The service staff are mostly courteous, but you can tell they are understaffed. We had to wait a long time for our grilled food, but it was very well grilled. The selection of dishes here is really great and varied, there's nothing that's missing and the supplies are always quickly and regularly replenished. The price, although high, is reasonable.

I would like to express my dissatisfaction. The price of Coke was extremely overpriced – €11 for a liter isn't justified in my opinion. There's something to complain about here: the service was so unfriendly that we didn't feel like we were being treated in a restaurant. The desserts are ready-made meals purchased from Kaufland and brought out before us. You also have to buy a drink, and even the selection wasn't huge and became boring after one course. Not recommended.
