We had an antipasti plate for 18.50 euros. 1 bruscetta, a bit of rocket with parmesan shavings, 2 mini champions, 1 slice of zucchini, 1 slice of aubergine, 2 green olives, 2 scampi, 2 slices of salami and half a pepper. Tasty but overpriced. The main course was king prawns (5 pieces) in a pan with a small slice of baguette, 2.3 cherry tomatoes and a small green salad - for a whopping 29 euros! That was also delicious, no question, but the price-performance ratio wasn't right here either. The service was inattentive and faces looked unmotivated. It's a shame, the outdoor dining area is really nice.

Went there for the first time last night. We really liked it! The service was good, but could still improve a bit. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. The tables under the trees with beautiful lighting invite you to linger. Good selection of aperitif drinks. Good price-performance ratio. We'll be back :-)

Lovely outdoor space under some linten trees. It seems to protect when it rains lightly as we experienced. The interior is also nice, minimalistic and modern. The red wine was we served too warm as it was about 26’C and served at room temperature-The waiter offered topPut it in the fridge for 15minutes which helped. The antipasti mixto was below average: the bruschetta was ok, the rest was below average. The vegetarian pizza was average as was the tagliatelle with Chantelle mushrooms- was quite blend and could be improved. Service was somewhat slow, we received our own wineglasses the. Took about 10mins for the bottle of wine to turn up. Ambience however is lovely in the courtyard and bottles of wine are x3 supermarket mark ups.

We enjoyed a very tasty meal with friendly service. Starters, main courses and dessert are very good. Recommendations from the kitchen (daily recommendation) are excellent. Many thanks to the team at Restaurant Zalero for a lovely evening.

Absolutely harmonious, fine cuisine and perfect service. Not for all you can eat fans, but for people who appreciate a dignified evening in such an atmosphere. A restaurant that is good for the city.

Been there twice. Totally unfriendly service the first time. We were two families with a total of three children. It gave the impression that children were not welcome. The second visit was an absolute disaster. Waited two hours for food. You had to go in every time to ask for drinks. (There were two or three service people at the few tables outside) A waitress spilled an entire drink down his t-shirt. There wasn't even the idea of ​​compensation, like a free drink or something similar. In addition, no bread with the soup or a little something from the kitchen for the waiting time. Making a child wait TWO HOURS for food is really awesome. Only the food was okay, which is what you should expect given the high prices. Definitely the last time for us. If you want to position yourself as an upscale restaurant, you should at least try to make it happen.

Actually nice terrace, unfortunately there was rubbish everywhere, the "plastic flower boxes" full of weeds as well as the entire terrace and the wall, untrained service staff, the antipasti plate only with one scampi although two were shown on the menu, the gamba pan for 29.90 with only 6 small prawns and a few pieces of toasted bread. The price-performance ratio is not right at all, the tables are not properly set, so you can expect more from an “Enoteca”.

We were guests here on a rainy day in April when I was allowed to take my wife, who was heavily pregnant at the time and already in the nearby hospital, out to dinner. We come from Düsseldorf, didn't know our way around here and were overjoyed to find such a great restaurant in small Bensberg. We experienced a warm, courteous host with a consistently excellent meal here, which meant that all the tension just before the birth was able to melt away for the moment. For my pregnant wife, the dishes were of course specially prepared so that she could eat everything. Thank you very much from me and my wife for this lovely afternoon and all the best to you and your restaurant. Our son, who was born two days later, is doing great and we look forward to our next visit with you as a family. Kind regards from Düsseldorf! PS: I ordered something to take away for my wife the day after the birth. Everything was still warm and delicious in the hospital!

Upscale, good price/performance, fine ambience!

Beautiful terrace with comfortable chairs so much of the good. The service was completely disorganized, slow and constantly running to the wrong tables with the wrong food. I asked for an ashtray three times in total before I got it myself. Antipasti for €18.50 consisted of 4 slices of salami, two shrimps and some vegetables, poor value for money in this case. Pasta was delicious. But overall everything took a long time to come.

We went to Zalero for the first time today following a colleague's recommendation! An all-round successful evening... very tasty food and good drinks, a great ambience inside and outside, very courteous staff! So again at any time and highly recommended!

Beautiful ambience accompanied by harmoniously beautiful music, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and the taste of the food was hard to beat. There was a small free starter (bread with two dips). Only the main course (portion of noodles) could have been larger to really fill you up. Maybe my review will be taken into account. We had a very good meal with matching wine in a very attractive atmosphere, good service and a nice host. The music went well with the attractive ambience and it was a lovely evening. We felt very comfortable and ate in the positive sense of the word “value for money”.

Nice restaurant with unfortunately very poor service. We were made to wait a full 25 minutes before we could even place our order. We basically had to ask the waiter, who had already walked past us 10 times and had consistently ignored us so far, to do so and was then rudely told that it was normal to have to wait 20 minutes before being served. And no, the store wasn't nearly so full that this argument could have been accepted. Then another 20 minute wait until the order - three drinks - was brought. Last but not least, I waited another 30 minutes for the bill, then finally went to the bar on my own to pay and meet who there? That's right, three cheerful waiters standing behind the bar and chatting. I've never felt treated as badly as I did in this restaurant.

Once and never again completely overpriced, there was no gnokki and without asking, macaroni was served, the other kind of bruchetta, perfectly normal on a soft baguette. Homemade pasta, none, we had to get cutlery ourselves from the next table, service was slow, the two women's toilets without a leaf Paper, trash cans overflowing and lots of paper on the floor, the portions are just enough for children and seniors. The prices cannot be justified. The next room where we were placed, except for 2 people, empty and no atmosphere. It's a shame about the wasted evening. If you're looking for Mediterranean cuisine instead of pizza, you've come to the right place. Very friendly service, very good food, modern but cozy furnishings at reasonable prices. I'm a regular there. P.s.: been there again. This time with grandchildren. There is now also pizza (very good!) and it is open from lunchtime on Sundays. Now really family friendly! Definitely go... ;-))

At the end of an event at Bensberg Castle, we enjoyed dinner in the Zalero restaurant. It was no problem getting a table without a reservation, the service was very attentive and the food was well presented and really tasty! The only negative points about the service: two orders were forgotten, it was not possible to pay by card and leave a tip and an absolute no-go was that the wine list lists prices for 0.1l and always serves 0.2l become.

We recently visited the Zalero restaurant in Bensberg and were immediately impressed by the pleasant atmosphere. The furnishings seemed both high-quality and modern. Both the boss personally and the service staff were characterized by extraordinary friendliness, openness and sympathy. We opted for the four-course meal on offer, accompanied by an excellent bottle of Lugana. We were very impressed by the quality of the products and the outstanding preparation in the kitchen. In terms of taste, every dish was convincing across the board. At the end we felt pleasantly full, without the feeling of being overcrowded. We left the restaurant with the desire to return soon. In summary, I recommend the restaurant and its team without reservation.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Da ich stille durfte ich noch kein Alkohol trinken und es wurde auf Nachfragen extra etwas gezaubert. Das Getränk war eins der Besten, welches ich je getrunken hatte. Das Essen und das Ambiente waren auch Top.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, freundliches Personal, das Essen war geschmacklich ok, allerdings zu kalt. Die Portionenen, ausser der Pizza, waren zu klein. Besonders mein Fischgericht war sehr überschaubar. Die Nachspeisen habe nicht geschmeckt. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist nicht stimmig. Ich würde aber noch einmal hingehen, um diesem Restaurant eine zweite Chance geben, da es wirklich eine ansprechende Umgebung hat.

Sono stato a cenare lì con la mia compagna e abbiamo mangiato bene, pasta fresca fatta da loro, servizio veloce e cortese, piatti tipici italiani, assolutamente da provare. Sicuramente ritorneremo.

Ich habe meine Freunde eingeladen und war sehr begeistert. Tolle Bedienung, die Damen sind sehr professionel. Auch der Chef und das Team machen einen guten Eindruck. Carpaccio und die hausgemachten Pasta sind sehr zu empfehlen.

Nettes Ambiente. Allerdings sind die Portionen etwas klein geraten für den doch gehobenen Preis. Der Schottische Lachs war ok, die Beilagen etwas lieblos.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Zalero. Unglaublich mit welcher Liebe aus dem alten Irish Pub ein schönes Italienisches Restaurant entstanden ist. Der Service und das Essen war top. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Schön, dass der ehemalige Irish Pub mit einem italienischen Restaurant neu belebt wurde. Die Karte ist klein, aber das spricht ja für Frische und Nachhaltigkeit, also in meinen Augen ein Pluspunkt! Das Preisniveau ist angemessen (80 Euro für eine geteilte Vorspeise, 2×Spaghetti (Vongole/Frutti di Mare), 2 Gläser Wein und eine Flasche Wasser), denn alles ist frisch, super lecker und hausgemacht (auch die wirklich fantastischen Nudeln), Freundliche Mitarbeitende, sehr schönes Ambiente und ein toller Außenbereich. Auf jeden Fall ein Gewinn für die Bensberger City.

Wir waren am Freitag zum ersten mal, sicher aber nicht zum letzten mal dort.

Eine kleine, aber sehr feine und moderne Speisekarte mit wirklich frisch zubereiteten Gerichten; eine umfangreiche Weinkarte, aber darüber hinaus auch sehr gute Empfehlungen vom Inhaber; und ein äußerst aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Das macht den Unterschied. Wir fühlen uns gut aufgehoben und kommen sehr gerne immer wieder. Ein italienisches Restaurant auf diesem Niveau hat in Bensberg gefehlt.
