Perfect place, spare ribs tastiest!

The food was great, but the service was awesome! A group of pregnant friends went there, and the waitress was super kind to offer us the most comfortable corner of the restaurant. Thank you!

Everytime I go to Berlin I always pass by for lunch, it is one of my favourite restaurants. On lunchtime they have a menu with a soup (with 3 dumplings) and 4 more dumplings on the side. I highly suggest the beef with black pepper and the veggie options! The staff is very friendly attentive. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately it's not very comfortable, but the dumplings and all the other dishes make up for it. The food is perfect and through a large pane of glass you can see that everything is actually freshly prepared to perfection. In addition to the dumplings, the ribs are particularly recommended. Good wines and non-alcoholic drinks as well as always friendly, fast service.

The food is just excellent! Out of this world especially the blackbeef dim-sums and the spare-ribs! Food arrived quickly, service was friendly and very helpful with tips, and the smoothly shakes were also a hit. Only minor point, is place is sooo popular there are a lot of delivery people coming to collect food, so a lot of the staff were running up and down the isles to collect orders and hand-them over which gave it a kinda rushed/busy atmosphere which kept taking attention away. Still, we are going back again very soon!

Really impressed with the food and service here! Looks like it would be a cold restaurant, but it is surprisingly cosy! Dumplings were all great and the ribs were great also. Service was really friendly from everybody we interacted with and the prices were extremely reasonable. Wish I’d found here sooner :)

Best dumplings I've had in Berlin! Too bad about the sometimes terrible service. I've had ok service here two times, and terrible service once. The waiters almost seemed like they avoid eye contact when walking through the room. We wanted to order something more, and in the end (after maybe 15 minutes trying to get their attention) had to get up and go find a waiter ourselves (he was on his phone in the back). And as we were paying, the waiter was terribly intense about the tip, which was really uncomfortable. First he asked "how much tip will you give" when typing in the amount on the card machine. When we said we would leave cash on the table, and started putting our coats on, reminded us "don't forget to leave the tip..". In the end he came and said "if you did not want to give tip, you could have just said so, no need to lie about it". We were shocked. And he repeated annoyed "no need to lie". Not exactly a nice experience - but the dumplings are still absolutely wonderful.

The food is very good, but also very special and the portions are also quite small. I found it quite narrow and very loud.

Ate Chinese for the first time and it pleasantly surprised me and was very delicious. Absolute recommendation!

These are my favourite dumplings in Berlin! The best part is the generous portion of filling and the juicy texture with proper seasoning. It can be enjoyed without a sauce! My favourite for dinner will be the chicken and lamb and for takeout lamb and shrimp. I also tried the ribs and they were nice but not crunchy. All in all never disappointed from this place! A bit pricey but you get quality!

The glutinous rice chicken wrap is 95 percent tasteless rice with bits of chicken.

Food is prepared in the back of the room behind a glass wall - lots of spices - which makes it difficult to identify what you are actually eating. Lamb soup tastes like veggie soup - octopus like candy… - staff friendly - salad was taken off the bill.

Hausgemachte Dumplings und viele andere kleine Gerichte, die man sich zusammenstellen kann wie z.B. marinierte Gurken, gebackenen Seidentofu. Ausreichend viele fleischfreie Optionen. Qualität der Gerichte ist sehr gut, der Service freundlich. Preislich an der Schmerzgrenze für das, was es ist, und die Lage. Klar zu empfehlen

“Wait to be seated” i.e. you are always assigned the currently worst seat. I've been observing this phenomenon for a while now. I then had a conversation with the service and it turned out that the good seats had suddenly not been reserved. I suspect they want to attract potential walk-in customers with the sunny spots, or the service wants to keep its radius small. This system can ruin the evening for the guest. Too bad

I'm not adding anything new when I say that these are the best Dumplings in Berlin! There is no point in ordering any other Main dishes, it's just a waste of space for more Dumplings. There's no point in eating breakfast either, as this too only wastes space for more Dumplings. Surgically enlarging one's stomache is a good call bevore Visiting this place, as this provides more space for more delicious Dumplings. The only downside of eating here is that all other Dumplings will be ruined forever, as they will pale in comparison to these artfully crafted masterpieces of deliciousness.

We ordered green veggie dumplings, su bao and a homemade lemonade. While the dishes were generally tasty, there was a noticeable lack of salt, which detracted from the enjoyment. Another negative experience was the service: even though we arrived an hour before the restaurant closed, we were strongly pressured to order and eat quickly. Raising the chairs while we were still present increased the feeling of being unwelcome. Nevertheless, the quality of the food was overall satisfactory.

Unfriendly waiters, slow service. It's better to look for good alternatives on the side streets.

The dumplings were tasty despite having thick doughs. It is a fusion dim sum place, nothing traditional. Lunch menu was one dim sum and one soup with dumpling for 13 euro.

Very tasty food with reasonable prices. The service is the best we had in Berlin so far, really nice people.

We ordered and unfortunately it was a failure across the board. The cucumber salad: huge tankards simply soaked in rice vinegar. Bao Veg: Neutral in taste. Only the black beef and the shrimp were okay-ish. Sauces: 2 drops of soy, a little vinegar and the standard sweet and sour sauce from the Asia Späti. For 60 EUR it's a disgrace. Sorry. Never again.

As always, a treat and delicious drinks. The show kitchen always inspires my son.

I've never had dumplings before and you have to like them! It wasn't my taste! Regardless of whether it was chicken, duck or beef, I couldn't really tell a difference. Steamed or fried, no big difference either. But tastes are different and there are definitely many people who like to eat dumplings. The service was good, the benches were hard and uncomfortable!

The Black beef dumpling baked is a different level of Food. Wow amazing place love it highly recommended

We visit Yumcha often :) A small but very nice shop with authentic Chinese cuisine. The prices are reasonable and the staff is quick to be friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the taste was very poor. Everything is bland, it is served without praise and there isn't really any sauces other than soy sauces and the usual ready-made sweet chili. You have to say hello to the service first in order to be noticed and then they don't greet you back but just ask you what you want... I would like a friendly waiter first and then that the things taste really good when you pay 8 euros for two small shrimps with some Reia. Well, there are plenty of other shops with dumplings in Berlin :)

STAY AWAY! payment fraud with double payment pos. they just sent some emails from sum up that i did receive my money back but i didnt. The case is sent to european consumer center surveillance

Great dumplings and extremely nice service

Interesting place with yummy food. Veggie dumplings and silken tofu were tender, tasty and fresh. You could see dumplings are hand made. Laid out ambience adds to the overall experience. Recommended.

Unfortunately, the octopus salad was very carelessly prepared and had hardly any taste. The octopus also had a very hard rubbery texture. In general, the ambience and service are more satisfactory than pleasant.

Very tasty baked wontons and lemonade

We tried almost everything from the menu and all food was amazing. If I had to pick favorites it would be dumplings with duck and chestnut, pork ribs and spicy chocolate. Great food, quick and kind service, and so interesting "hidden" toilet area (design worth of mentioning and seeing 🤓) - all the reasons to definitely come back again.

Love this place! It’s cozy and the terrace is amazing in summer. It’s affordable and the staff is really nice. My favourite dishes are the black beef soup, black beef dumplings, the honey spare ribs and the lemonade. I’ve been coming here for 4 years and I still love it :)

The appetizers were amazing - we ordered cucumbers and silken tofu and were in owe! The vege dumplings were so so - they were a bit hard, were falling apart which made them a bit difficult to eat. Dessert was supposed to be “2 dumplings” but they’re buns instead. Overall ok, but I’d come back for appetizers only.

Place was about half full. Waited over 20 minutes to place my order. The man next to me, who arrived much after me, not only got to place his order first, he had his drink and veg before they spoke to me. Told tge waiter who collected my plates I would like tge check. I proceeded to be ignored another 20 minutes. Not worth what was otherwise, good, but not great, food.

We had an amazing server! He noticed our group about to order a ton of food at once and he came by and said to order a few at a time. The plates were so good! He had a few dishes he recommended and they were delicious!

Chinese restaurant with all kinds of fried and steamed dumplings. The portions were quite small for the high price, and the staff was attentive. The location was uninviting and very spartan; people sat quite close together.

Amazing food, specially the dumplings - great flavors! Regarding the service, when it was time to pay we didn't add tip in the card payment (cause we weren't very impressed with the service, and we are in our right to not leave a tip in that case), and the waiter asked us "where is the tip?"so my friend mentioned that we may leave something in cash (cause we felt pressured by him). We didn't have coins, so we didn't leave it in the end, and the waiter began to call us liars. That was very rude - we felt really attacked. This is not right or normal... unfortunately, we are not coming back.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian dumplings really didn't taste good at all. The filling was hard and had no real flavor, as if a bit of Maggi had been seasoned and nothing else. Unfortunately very disappointing, especially for €8. The wontons were okay, but hardly seasoned and the chili oil that was supposedly served with them was not oil and had no taste. In general, there was a lack of sauces for dipping, there was only a sweet and sour sauce and a vinegar sauce, so you couldn't even improve the taste of the dumplings.

We had dinner at Yumcha Heroes this evening and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the service was extremely friendly and attentive! We were given great advice when choosing food. Above all, we can more than recommend Tang Bao. It's definitely worth a visit and the location is just perfect!!! Great store. We will be back!

I've been here several times and have always been extremely satisfied. Very polite staff, the atmosphere is totally pleasant and the food, especially the dumplings and homemade lemonades, are very delicious. You just feel comfortable and are served nicely. Very authentic

YUMCHA HEROES is a real treat for Asian cuisine lovers. The restaurant not only impresses with a diverse selection of authentic dishes, but also with friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation of the dishes are always at the highest level, making every visit a culinary experience.

Very average food, if you needed up here go on the pork only options , Service- good old Berlin style - and by that I mean no service, very little attention to details or to the customer. Menu is very confusing .

Everything is freshly prepared, it tastes very good, the staff is friendly and the location is cool... five well-deserved stars! Top!

Not the best … the food itself is alright but the service isn’t great and I wanted steamed dumplings/ they brought out baked. Food took very long to come and the steamed bok Choi came with some really sickly sweet sauce when the menu said it was just steamed veg, so I even had to send a dish back as it was so much sugar when I wanted a healthy meal.

The food is so great here I've never been disappointed. On the other hand I've always been disappointed by the service. If you'd like to be ignored and wait for long periods this would be the place. Better management or attention to the tabled would truly benefit this place!

Best dumplings in Berlin ( and it is actually difficult to find decent ones in Berlin) The atmosphere is nice outside on the street, inside it gets a bit warm and loud sometimes. Try there Shanghai dumplings as they are my favorites and taste very authentic. Also a very nice are the sake drinks.

It was alright, had high hopes for the food but left a bit disappointed. Service was friendly enough, we were seated quickly and food came out quickly too. Unfortunately, we couldn’t really taste any of the Szechuan in our dumplings, the meat was flavorful but dense, and the salmon rice paper roll thing was not enjoyable. I’d stick to ordering dumplings if I went again.

I'm Asian n I can tell you that the food is mediocre, considering the price. Waitress was friendly but when it came time to pay, she asked how much tip I liked to give. I have to say that having eaten in a lot of restaurants in Berlin, the Asian restaurants are the only ones that are tacky enough to ask for a tip outright. What a turn off! I would have given her a nice tip if she didn't ask cos she seemed nice. Consumers need to discourage this kind of behavior n not let them intimate us into tipping them. I also don't believe this is the German culture. The name of the restaurant is also deceiving. There are only a couple dimsum dishes.

Perfect rice side dish taste... I asked if they had rice, but they didn't sell it. Everything was good except that. The spring rolls are really delicious and the sauce that comes with them is amazing. It's like soybean paste, but it's not soybean paste, but it's mild and has a savory taste. Meat like dongpo meat comes off easily. If you eat it with bok choy, it's less salty. Black beef dumplings? I ate it, but it felt like the dumpling skin and filling were playing separately. Still, just soso The cola bottle is really small so you can take a bite. 🍽👍

Totally overrated. Location not inviting, it's drafty and cold. Service was nice, unfortunately not attentive. You constantly have to ask for new napkins, explicitly ask for the table to be wiped down, etc To eat. Starters soup with lamb dumpling was TOTALLY tasteless-related to the broth. The dumplings were good though. Baos completely tasteless.

Really liked Shanghai dumplings and honey ribs. Lunch menu #3 (black beef soup and shao mai) is also nice. Roastbeef rolls were very bland. Nice place, easy to reserve online.

Ich habe gestern das Essen von Yumcha Heroes gegessen und deswegen ist es mir wichtig hier eine Bewertung zu schreiben: das Essen war richtig richtig gut und fällt deswegen auf! Ich kenne sehr viel in Berlin und das hier ist echt besonders gute Qualität! Macht weiter so und ihr esst und bestellt hier bitte fleißig, damit es so bleibt. Da ich mehrere Sachen gegessen habe und alles ausnahmslos gut war, empfehle ich einfach zu essen, was ihr wollt.:)

Unvergesslich - einfach alles war LECKER! Ich habe lange nicht so lecker gegessen und so freundliches Personal gesehen. Vielen Dank! Probiert die Rippchen!

Ja, das Essen ist authentisch, der Blick in die offene Küche, wo es dampft und brodelt, ist cool und gibt was her, und jedes Essen für sich ist lecker, keine Frage. Aber die Portionen kosten jeweils 8 Euro und sind relativ klein (4 Dumplings oder Vorspeisengrößen) und man ist eigentlich nie wirklich satt oder befriedigt, wenn man wirklich Hunger hat. Wenn man dann 3-4 Gerichte bestellt, wird es schon relativ teuer, was aber dem Streetfood-Charackter des Essens, dem Ambiente, das eher casual und laut ist, und dem leicht überforderten Service nicht gerecht wird. So verlässt man das Restaurant mit dem Gefühl, kein gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis bekommen zu haben.

Mit Abstand die schlechtesten und gleichzeitig teuersten dumplings die ich in der Stadt je gegessen habe (min. 8 Euro für 4 Stück). Der Teig war nicht durch, trocken und krümelig und die Füllung einfach nur schlecht.

Had a reservation, got there with a group of friends, you are welcomed by a sign “cash only” so we left. We are almost in 2024, how can a restaurant still only accept cash in a metropolis like Berlin, absolutely unacceptable!

Excellent restaurant qui propose des recettes originales de cuisine chinoise : bao, raviolis, soupes, … Nous avons beaucoup aimé les concombres épicés, la soupe de raviolis végétariens, les rouleaux d’été grillés… Tout est délicieux, assez fin et goûteux. 62€ à deux avec boissons, cafés et dessert.

Would not return, very below average food, overpriced for what you're given. Service and overall atmosphere of the place was weird. The dessert was good though.

Wow, I am speechless, I think this is the best place for handmaid's dumplings I've ever tried. Kudos! Service was quick and positive vibes... but the dumplings... Mamma mia !! Super. I tried the lunch menu number 3. A soup (with dumplings) and caviar meat dumplings, and I was in ecstasy. I felt like they were melting in my mouth. I definitely will come back. There are also vegan options.

The place is okay. We ordered a starter and dumplings but after the starter our order got lost.after asking about it twice, we got a cucumber salad and edamame on the house and a bit later also the dumplings. The dumplings were nice but I can't say it was the best dumplings I have ever had..the fried tofu starter was very nice. they are also very strict on the one glass of tap water per person although we had other drinks as well.. felt like the place was trying to be posh but then the service is not on the level.there are some vegetarian options but don't expect too much

It was ok overall, the food it’s a bit pricey except for the dumplings which we get were supposed to be “special”. Not expecting the best service, as in Germany it’s always like this, so maybe in general it was ok for a 1 time experience.
