We found this Thai restaurant completely by chance. We were pleasantly surprised by how stylish and accommodating it was. We didn’t have a reservation but they still found a table for us; and it was Saturday! While we had no idea about the prices of the place, we surely thought it was quite fair for the experience you get. The food was phenomenal and one of the best we had. The portions were quite big and while we had trouble finishing it, the price point made sense with how much food you get. It was the first time we came across such a place that offers hot towel to clean our hands but this “random” restaurant provided us an unforgettable night and many amazing flavours!

What a Thai restaurant to visit! The food was unreal and they were not shy with the portions of meat which made the prices quite fair. My duck was cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce! If your in Munich, make sure to have dinner there.

Nice restaurant with a lavish atmosphere inside. There are a variety of vegetarian options as well with a possibility of customisation as per request. Overall it is slightly pricey as compared to other restaurants, but the atmosphere and service makes up for it.

Excellent Thai food and service but expensive

I ordered a delivery, and the food was simply amazing. I can only recommend it. I also received a bottle of Sauvignon wine as a gift. A dessert was forgotten, but another courier brought it, and the wine was included. That was very nice – thank you very much 🥰

Very good, high-quality Thai food. You're given fresh, fragrant washcloths at your table to clean your hands. The chef de rang serves delicious Thai tea. Even at short notice, we were able to get a table for dinner without a reservation. We wholeheartedly recommend it.💕

I tried the yum fried rice, which was absolutely delicious! It was the best meal of the two week trip I was on. The service was great and the athmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful. The food arrived quickly and it was amazing!!

Great location on a side street with very authentic Thai cuisine. The service and ambiance are very pleasant and good. The food is freshly prepared, and you can choose from all kinds of spices. The price/performance ratio is okay, considering it's a bit more upscale, but overall, it's highly recommended.

I love Thai cuisine, and at Yum, it's prepared very authentically and to a high standard. The menu and drinks list are very extensive. In addition to excellent wines, there are also excellent cocktails 🍹 (the Mai Tai is wonderfully refreshing, and I've rarely had such a good one anywhere in the world!) and, of course, plenty of non-alcoholic drinks.

We were invited to dinner at Yum today. From the very beginning, everything was great: We were warmly greeted at the entrance and shown to our chosen table. The food was also delicious. We were served by two waiters. The younger, fitter boy was very nice and even offered our little one some delicious Krappen chips. The other, older gentleman seemed annoyed with us for some reason; I have no idea what was going on. Oh well, unfortunately, not everything can be perfect.

The food was really flavorful, and certainly tasted a lot closer to what you would find in Thailand than other Thai restaurants that I’ve tried in Munich. A bit on the pricey side, but the food was absolutely value for money.

Excellent, authentic Thai cuisine with a fine-dining flair. All dishes are extremely fresh, lovingly prepared, and delicious. A solid wine selection (although the white wine could have been a bit better, or at a cooler temperature—but it's not worth deducting a star, given the outstanding food, service, and ambiance). The prices are ambitious, but the culinary experience is absolutely worth it. We'll definitely be back!

I ate here for the first time in December – and I was immediately impressed! The restaurant is decorated with so much style and attention to detail, you immediately feel at home. The food? Amazing thai food! The service was good, too.

Extremely good Thai food with very fresh ingredients, but certainly at a higher price point. Service was top notch and we really enjoyed their variety of salads and duck dishes. Spice level was appropriate and portions were quite big. No complaints and would highly recommend for a nice dinner. The ambiance inside is quite intimate but still has ample lighting to read the menu etc.

One dish was extremely salty and the other was very light. 1 water costed 8 euros! We felt a bit sick due to some sort of food reaction after the meal. It’s over priced for the quality of food.

Average price per dish about €30 , one bottle of water is eight euro, for this high price their food quality is below average. Will not come back!

Exceptional cuisine – quite possibly the best Thai food I’ve ever had! I ordered the soft-shell crab with curry, and it was absolutely delicious – delicately prepared, full of flavor, and so irresistible that I couldn’t stop eating, even though I was already full. The service was just as impressive. We were welcomed with a complimentary tea as soon as we sat down, even before placing our order, followed by hot towels to refresh our hands – a thoughtful touch. Despite the restaurant being full, our food arrived incredibly fast, and throughout the meal, I truly felt like a valued guest. If I’m ever in Munich again, I’ll definitely return.

Food very good & friendly service

We ordered three patai - the first two were served without tofu. When the third guest arrived, we ordered another patai, which was significantly better prepared and presented. The noodles weren't stuck together in a lump, and this third patai was even served with tofu, unlike the first two. It was presented in a much more professional manner, despite all three dishes being ordered at the same table.

A somewhat crowded restaurant, the seating between the tables is very crowded. The service is not the best, you often have to look for the waiter. The food is excellent, the place is pleasant overall.

You can find a special highlight of Thai cuisine here! Top service, you feel very well looked after. And the food is very good, authentic, wonderfully prepared and absolutely delicious. The location invites you to forget about everyday life and enjoy it.

Nice restaurant with a modern, Asian feel. The food is good (European Thai cuisine), but not outstanding. You pay more for the location than for the products, but that's okay. is if you want to treat yourself to an atmospheric evening in the heart of Munich. The service leaves nothing to be desired. Little gimmicks like free basil tea or the damp towel before eating create an additional atmosphere.
