Unfortunately, the visit was a disappointment, both in terms of the food and the service. The vegetables in the soup were completely raw, and the main course was drenched in vinegar and oil. The prices weren't exactly cheap, but typical for Munich.

Expensive for such a place and quality of food! With an empty cafe, we waited a very long time for food, as they work with a delivery service! The waiter was in the kitchen and at the bar and I never saw him wash his hands! She clearly asked that the food not be spicy! I repeated it three times and in the end they brought a very spicy dish! It seems that the waiter does not know German at all!

What a joy! You can get top quality authentic Thai cuisine here, which has become rare in Munich. The restaurant is not as small as one might assume from the photos and also offers a cute terrace at the front. As is often the case with Thai, the menu is very extensive and it is difficult to choose with so many delicacies. The two of us ordered 4 dishes at once in order to try as many as possible. A rarity: Tod Man! Fish cakes that are almost impossible to find anywhere and in the way I know them. Fluffy and spongy and with the sweet and spicy cucumber dip. Delicious! Papaya salad sour and spicy, very spicy, but delicious. If you don't like it that much, you definitely have to say so! For the main course we chose Pad Krapao with egg of course and we weren't disappointed here either: sensationally cooked, with beans and Thai basil and chili. Plus a panang curry to test. Perfectly seasoned and rich! So one thing is for sure, we will be back. Well, the prices (4.20) for a singha and 14.90 for papaya salad without shrimp are high, but everything is super fresh and very tasty!

Team very attentive and friendly, menu varied - also with vegetarian / vegan options. Kitchen very good and if you want it authentic, location practical because it is close to public transport. The crew alternates between the restaurant and the popular “sister snack bar” of the same name at the main train station. Both absolutely recommended! Tip: If you want to try something new beyond Pad Thai and Pad Krapao, just talk to the staff. They are happy to recommend specialties from their kitchen for every taste - spicy or mild - and also explain the ingredients and preparation with love and passion.

We ordered the following dishes and they were all excellent: 1. Pad Khi Mao 2. Yum Wishes 3. Lab Ped 4. Tomyum (The shrimp are cooked a little too long.) 5. Pla Sam Rod Attention: we emphasized that we wanted it to be very spicy like in Thailand.

One of the best Thai restaurants I've eaten in so far, the food is very tasty, the staff are very friendly, and there is such a nice and calm atmosphere in the restaurant. I'll definitely come back often!

I've always liked ordering through Wolt, but this time it was really disappointing. The fried rice wasn't good at all, really bad, and the pad graprao didn't taste good either - the duck had a very strange taste. 😓

We discovered the Noppakao Restaurant a few weeks ago and are thrilled! The dishes taste very authentic and are varied with the many different spices. Lunch specials are available for €10.90 per dish and drinks for €1. Tastes like Thailand 🫶🏼 The owner is very friendly and accommodating, and when the weather is nice you can sit comfortably outside. And if the dish says spicy, then it is really spicy 🙃

We enjoyed it and the operators were very friendly! Clear recommendation: Mango Sticky Rice - just like in Thailand! However, I find the prices overall too expensive, hence no 5 stars.

We were with 4 people. There for dinner and overall very satisfied. The service is extremely nice, but they could be more attentive to other drink orders. You can look into the kitchen and everything, including the staff, seems very authentic. The food - various starters and main courses - was very good and the portions were quite large. So value for money is absolutely fine, we will go there again, a very good Thai restaurant.

Very authentic and delicious! A little hidden at first glance, when you enter you are surprised by a very nice and chic atmosphere. Everything was very clean and well maintained, the staff were polite and friendly and the food was authentically Thai and very tasty! Portions are just right. Prices for Schwabing and okay for this quality. We'd love to come back.

Simple, unpretentious, very authentic little restaurant with extremely friendly service. The food tastes exactly like in Thailand, without making any concessions to German taste. And if you order MAI PET, less spicy, that's how the food comes out. Wonderful!

The staff was very friendly, but the taste was sooo plain… none of the three dishes that we ordered tasted good. Also way overpriced. Can you believe the bitter lemon that we ordered already expired by one year??? Good that we checked the date. Never again.

It's a bit hidden from the main road in a residential area. It's actually not bad as you find mostly local crowd in a very relaxed environment. The hostess is very friendly and made suggestions and even customised the dishes. Everything was fresh and very tasty.

The food was excellent, as is best Thai food. The service was extremely friendly, as only Thais can be. The Thai green curry was excellent! I will gladly come again. Thank you!

I hate to do this, but the owner was terribly rude. She accidentally gave my order to a delivery person and refused to help after much requesting and negotiating. I’m leaving with a bill, no food, and a bad taste. It would be understandable if the service staff wasn’t rude on top of the mistake.

As a Thai student, I highly recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone in Munich who is looking for an authentic and delicious dining experience. I absolutely love the food here, and my top suggestion would be to try the Stewed Beef Noodles. It's one of the best dishes on the menu, in my opinion. Also, remember to order the sticky rice with mango for dessert! It's superb.

Einfach der beste Thailänder in München. Esse dort unfassbar gerne. Ich selber bin halb Thai und kann sagen es ist super authentisch. Am liebsten esse ich hier Laab Gai, Som Tam oder Gaprau Gai :-) Für die, die es extra scharf mögen geht auch „Thai“ scharf.

Wir hatten extra angerufen, um uns zu versichern, dass es auch Gerichte mit Gemüse anstatt Fleisch gibt. Wir erhielten dann per Lieferung eine große Menge an Tofu mit einer Portion Reis und ca 5-6 Paprikastücke. Sehr enttäuschend. Unverschämten Preis von 17€ haben wir für Tofu mit Reis gezahlt.

Very authentic taste and huge portions - this Pad Thai could easily be enough for 2. Found prices perhaps little too high for the area and ambience, but still alright. Service was quick and friendly.

Endlich mal ein echt authentisches thailändisches Restaurant. Man fühlt sich direkt nach Thailand versetzt. Sind absolute Thailandfans und reisen immer wieder gerne dorthin. Das Essen vom Noppakao schmeckt echt wie in Thailand. Scharf ist durchaus scharf, aber so wie man es eben in Thailand bekommt. Richtige Herzensküche. Danke danke an das Team vom Noppakao für diese Geschmacksreise.

Neues Thai-Restaurant das wirklich authentisch thailändisch kocht. Ich war mit meiner thailändischen Begleitung hier essen und wir waren beide begeistert. Die Tom Yum Gung (7,90€) war sauer-scharf genauso wie sie sein soll und mit frischen Kaffir-Lime Blättern, Galangal und Zitronengrad angemacht. Die Frühlingsrollen waren knusprig und schmackhaft und definitiv handgemacht (7,90€). Highlight war für mich Pla Sam Rot, frittierter Kabeljau mit Paprika, Knoblauch, roten Zwiebeln, Koriander, mit Fischsoße und Zitronensaft, für mich extra scharf gekocht (19,90€). Sowas gutes habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gehabt, auch mein Freund war mehr als begeistert. Sein Panaeng mit Huhn (17,90€) war auch klasse aber der Fisch war einfach das beste. Die Einrichtung ist etwas spärlich, Kartenzahlung ist möglich, der Service ist super. Fazit: Sensationell gutes, authentisches thailändisches Essen, was aber ein wenig überteuert ist. Dennoch für die Qualität auf jeden Fall 5 Sterne.

Sehr authentisch und meiner Meinung nach der beste Thai in München (Stand Jan.23). Man muss dennoch erwàhnen dass es rel. hochpreisig ist und sowas wie extra Reis deutlich zu teuer ist. Einrichtung könnte auch etwas gemütlicher sein. Da aber geschmacklich unschlagbar 5*
