I've been traveling Thailand for 25 years, here you can get authentic Thai cuisine served at a top price and very good quality. I can recommend it without reservation. The staff is very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

We went to many Thai restaurants in Munich until a friend asked us why don't you go to NOK Thai Restaurant in Lochhausen? This is only 4 km from our home. Really nice Thai restaurant, and they can make food more authentic and spicy in you ask them too. The papaya salad was amazing and having tried the duck and chicken, I can honestly say it's one of the best Thai places in Munich. The service is also very good and fast. We will definitely stay regulars.

The lunch menu is very, very thin. Apart from a bowl with different toppings and a Pad Thai, also with different toppings, there was nothing. The food itself was also very average and nothing special. It was more like a canteen including half self-service. There are better Thais out there.

Soooo delicious and you feel like you're in Thailand. They even have Thai beers! Singha, Leo, ... We were here for the first time and definitely want to come back!

Wow, it really tastes fantastic there! Every dish we tried was consistently fresh, high quality and extremely tasty. The portions are also really incredibly large. You can sit comfortably on site and the service is friendly and quick. Please keep it up 🫶

Looking at the photos of the food, I think I must have been to a different restaurant today. I had lunch in this shop today and ordered a bowl for almost €12. I got a large bowl with half rice, some green salad, a handful of soy beans, corn, mango pieces and fried tofu. Richly covered in mayonnaise!?! In terms of taste, it has nothing to do with East Asian cuisine; the typical spices were missing. I picked out the vegetables and tofu, but most of the rice went back. When asked “Did it taste good” I said the truth: Unfortunately no! This triggered a strong reaction from a young, overweight employee with Asian appearance - I only mention this for the owner's identification. The employee in question insulted me that I had no idea that this was the best-selling dish. I explained very matter-of-factly why I didn't like it - when you go to an Asian restaurant, you have a concrete expectation that it will taste Asian, which wasn't the case here. The answer was again the attack that I had no idea, "because it's a Japanese dish and that's just how it tastes in Japan." When I replied that this was not the case because I had been to Japan several times, he called me a liar. In front of other employees and customers. This has broken the glass and I will escalate this case. ADDITION: Dear NOK-Thai employee, I hope that your customers will read your reaction to my criticism very carefully, as it is indicative of your customer service and lack of customer orientation. Because it is not the customer who is to blame for the poor quality of service and food, but the innkeeper himself. At this point, self-reflection would be appropriate and not a counterattack. I was passing through that day and by chance saw the shop, which is right on the main street, and wanted to get something to eat. What you interpreted as an unfriendly demeanor was my skepticism when entering this shop - I actually know a little more about Asian cuisine and the impression of the dingy shop and the food on the 2 occupied tables was not exactly positive. I was really hesitant to order something there, but since I was very hungry, I took the "risk". The food was exactly what I feared (already described). I actually wanted to pay without comment and drive on and not discuss any further, as I know from experience that such shops defend their "line" and always try to convince the customer that the bad taste is their personal fault. Anyhow, the reaction of the quoted employee prompted me to write this review. Regarding your last sentence, I should be ashamed of my weight comment - I merely stated obvious facts. Since Chee took over the bistro some time ago, the sauce for the spring rolls is no longer homemade ;), but the food is still excellent. And the (new) bowls are excellent. Keep it up!

Here the Nok-Thai-Bistro ny Chee team knows their craft. The food tastes so good 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 +👍. Real authentic Thai dishes. The service is quick and flexible. Unfortunately, today was only our first time at the Nok Thai Bistro. But what will change, especially now before summer, we will test the beautiful outdoor terrace in warmer temperatures. We'll be back and will choose something different on the menu.

I'm excited! Today we discovered this Thai gem by chance! We had several dishes and all of them tasted just like you would expect from the Foodparadise Thailand. Yum salmon especially made me happy. A salad with raw salmon, lemongrass, mint and chilli in a Thai lime dressing. Also eaten in BKK. The other dishes Khao Moo Yang (grilled pork neck with dip and sticky rice) and a noodle soup with beef were also top. Please keep it up! We'll definitely be back!

That's what you call an insider tip! Absolute favorite Thai restaurant in Germany. Insanely delicious food, authentically prepared. Extensive menu, which includes Pad Thai & Co. as well as more special dishes. In addition, there is always attentive, friendly service. Guys, don't let the light snack look stop you from going there. But pssst: don't tell anyone! Otherwise the Munich sponges will soon attack this gem.

Gerade zum ersten Mal probiert - definitiv einer der besten Thais München‘s! Es gibt auch Gerichte jenseits der typischen Curries, unter anderem der ganze Dorade war der Hammer. Wir werden definitiv mal wieder kommen, auch wenn die Anfahrt aus Fasangarten doch recht weit ist. Aber das ist das super Essen definitiv wert

Mein erster Besuch im Nok-Thai-Bistro und ich war beeindruckt. Das Ambiente mit offener Bar lädt zwar nicht zum gediegenen Abendessen ein, doch dafür ist das Bistro ja auch nicht gedacht. Die Speisekarte hatte mich anfangs etwas verwirrt, da die meisten Speisen mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten zu bekommen sind und die jeweiligen Preise nicht neben dem Gericht, sondern der Fleischsorte standen. Zum Mitnehmen hatte ich knusprige Ente mit gemischtem Gemüse und Reis T26. Nach ca. 10-15 Minuten waren meine Speisen fertig. Zu Hause angekommen war ich sehr überrascht. Die Ente war immer noch sehr knusprig, da der Deckel eine Öffnung zum Entweichen des Dampfes hatte. Da hat echt mal eine nachgedacht. Das frische Gemüse war noch leicht knackig, genau richtig. Neben dem sehr gutem Geschmack war ich auch von der Portionsgröße erfreut... was bei einem Preis vom 17,50€ auch gerne sein darf. Auch ohne Vorspeise war ich nach einer Portion gut satt, was woanders nicht immer der Fall ist. Parken war etwas schwierig, da nebenan gerade eine Baustelle ist. Ich bin zur Abholung halb auf der Straße gestanden. Ganz sicher werde ich da wieder essen und mich durch die Karte probieren. Hier versteht man sein Handwerk!

Wir haben heute das erste mal hier bestellt, essen war sehr lecker, das Gemüse immer noch knackig, Kokoscurrysoße war ebenso super gelungen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir sind oft im nok Thai, holen aber noch öfter essen ab und nehmen es mit nach Hause. Das Essen ist super lecker, man veträgt es gut (kein Glutamat) und es ist immer schnell aufbereitet. Ich freue mich jedes Mal, das wir so ein tolles Restaurant in Lochhausen haben.

I went there with my Thai and German friends. The food is very delicious, authentic and super spicy. If you love spicy Thai food, you‘ll love this place but be careful it is spicy on Thai people Level, who eat spicy. It is even spicy for some Thai friend of me. So I‘d recommend to order moderate spicy. The grill pork neck with sticky rice is very delicious. Pad kra proa is also good. Tom Sab is the best and super spicy. The staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is nice. The restaurant is clean. It is located quite far from the city center but can be easily accessed by S-Bahn.

Geschmack hat einen Namen: Nok-Thai-Bistro, Lochhausener Str. 201 Wer in München unterwegs ist, sollte sich merken, wo es etwas besonders Gutes zum Genießen gibt. 5 Minuten von der A8 entfernt, am Kreuz München West, liegt ein Menü auf dem Tisch, das für jeden Gast etwas Leckeres bietet. Werfen wir einen Blick hinein: Der Vorspeisenklassiker sind die Frühlingsrollen. Es folgen Teigtaschen und verschiedene (Fleisch-) Spießvariationen. Danach beginnt das eigentliche Erlebnis: Es gibt fünf Bereiche, die man gut kombinieren kann: Suppen, Salate, Spezialitäten, Hauptgerichte und Chef-Specials. Mit drei Personen und mehr empfiehlt sich die Auswahl eines Gerichts aus jedem Bereich. Damit erhält man die beste Gelegenheit, die breite Vielfalt thailändischen Geschmacks zu erleben. Das „Bistro“ eignet sich auch mittags für hungrige Arbeitende, für Pendler und Reisende sowie Urlauber, die das Ziel München haben.

Absolut zu empfehlen! Sehr nette Leute, authentisches essen. Wo "scharf" steht ist es auch wirklich so. Das Essen ist so wie in Thailand. Bin sehr Happy das Lokal entdeckt zu haben. Kommen wieder :)

Preis Leistung ist einfach Top. Grosse Portionen und geschmacklich einfach sehr authentisch. Sie haben viele Gerichte, die andere Restaurants nicht anbieten. Wenn ich Lust auf richtig thailändisches Essen habe, dann komme ich hierher. Sogar mit Benzinkosten (560km) hat es sich gelohnt!
