Yufkas Kebap in Heidelberg

Mein erster Tag in Deutschland wurde von diesem Laden ruiniert. :( Ich bezahlte einen Angestellten, ging und wurde dann auf der Straße vom Manager aggressiv angeschrien und des Diebstahls beschuldigt. Als ich verängstigt und verwirrt zurückkam, schrie er weiter und beleidigte mich, während der Angestellte, der mein Geld genommen hatte, behauptete, sich nicht erinnern zu können. Niemand hat es verdient, so behandelt zu werden. Absolut beschämend. Ich ging gedemütigt, hilflos und mit Übelkeit davon, als hätte ich etwas falsch gemacht. Als junge Asiatin frage ich mich immer noch, ob meine Hautfarbe eine Rolle dabei spielte, wie schnell ich wie eine Kriminelle und nicht wie eine Kundin behandelt wurde. Das ist ein Jahr her, und ich denke immer noch daran. Was ein aufregender erster Tag in einem neuen Land hätte sein sollen, wurde durch die Grausamkeit eines Mannes zu einer zutiefst erschütternden Erinnerung.

Schlechtes Essen und viel zu teuer. Man bestellt etwas und bekommt etwas völlig anderes. Ich kann dieses Restaurant überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Haltet euch von diesem Lokal fern!

Der Döner Kebab war fantastisch.

Der Eigentümer weiß genau, dass Kunden kein zweites Mal kommen werden. Das Essen ist leider nicht besonders schmackhaft. Ich habe zwei überteuerte Yufkas bestellt, in denen das Fleisch sehr kalt war. So kaltes Fleisch habe ich bisher noch nie serviert bekommen. Leider nicht zu empfehlen.

Essen gut, aber du solltest Landsmann sein.

Döner schmeckt furchtbar. Man kann ihn gar nicht schmecken. Außerdem ist er teuer.

Ich glaube, das war der geschmackloseste und schlechteste Döner, den wir je gegessen haben. Wir haben uns für diesen Imbiss entschieden, weil es in Heidelberg nicht viele Döner-Optionen gibt und er gute Bewertungen und eine zentrale Lage hatte. Leider war es eine Katastrophe. Wir bestellten Döner, sagten aber nicht, dass wir Rindfleisch wollten. Stattdessen bekamen wir ungefragt Hähnchendöner, was wir erst beim Essen bemerkten und nicht mehr zurückgeben konnten. Das Hähnchen war geschmacklos und es fehlte sogar der übliche gemischte Salat. Ich kann diesen Imbiss absolut nicht empfehlen; selbst mit einer Pizza hätten Sie ein besseres Abendessen gehabt.

Er hat mich beim Preis betrogen! Als ich fragte, sagte er nur: „Oh, tut mir leid, tut mir leid“, und danach war mein Rindfleisch-Döner vegetarisch. Haha

Großzügige Portion leckerer Kebab, knusprige Pommes und freundlicher Service. In der Altstadt gelegen. Eine hervorragende Wahl, wenn man nach der Burgbesichtigung richtig Hunger hat.

Ich hätte ehrlich gesagt nicht gedacht, dass Döner so schlecht schmecken kann, aber dieses Restaurant hat es tatsächlich geschafft! Das Fleisch schmeckte wie frittierte Haut, völlig geschmacklos. Als Student 16 € dafür zu bezahlen, war echt enttäuschend. Qualität und Sauberkeit waren unterirdisch, und als ob das nicht schon schlimm genug wäre, warfen sie auch noch ganze Oliven mit Kernen ins Essen – also Vorsicht mit den Zähnen!

Die Qualität des Essens war ehrlich gesagt sehr enttäuschend. Die Zutaten schmeckten extrem minderwertig. Die Pilze waren zwar gekocht, aber man merkte trotzdem, dass sie überhaupt nicht frisch waren. Und irgendwie fehlte jegliche Würze und Soße 😭😭 Das Essen schmeckte so fad, dass es sich unvollständig anfühlte. Außerdem ist die Bezeichnung „veganfreundlich“ für die Speisekarte irreführend. Ein paar einfache Salate ohne vegane Proteinquellen sind nicht wirklich vegan.

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, ob ich in einem Schnellrestaurant oder in der Hölle gelandet bin. Ich bin Ausländer, und anscheinend ist das für diese Leute ein Problem, denn an der Tür hingen mehrere Schilder, die darauf hinwiesen, dass Ausländern ein Aufpreis von bis zu 6 Euro berechnet würde, was ich ziemlich rassistisch, diskriminierend und beleidigend finde. Da ich vom Spaziergang durch die schöne Stadt Haidelnbarg völlig erschöpft war, beschloss ich, das Schild zu ignorieren und eine Pizza zu bestellen – eine mit Thunfisch, Rindfleisch, schwarzen Oliven und roter und grüner Paprika. Nach etwa 30 Minuten Wartezeit brachten sie mir eine ganz andere Pizza als die, die ich bestellt hatte: eine Vier-Käse-Pizza. Natürlich war ich verwirrt und dachte zuerst an einen schlechten Scherz, also beschloss ich, geduldig auf die Pizza zu warten, die ich eigentlich wollte. Mit der Zeit wurde mein Hunger unerträglich, und der Kellner rannte ständig und ständig auf die Toilette. Es ist bemerkenswert, dass er nie mit nassen Händen herauskam; der Mann hatte sich nach dem Toilettengang nicht die Hände gewaschen. Verzweifelt ging ich also hin, um meine Pizza zu bestellen, und der Typ schrie mich unverschämt an, ich hätte diese Pizza bestellt, ich würde sie essen und ich würde sie bezahlen. Durch sein Gebrüll fing ein kleines Kind, vielleicht drei oder vier Jahre alt, das vorbeikam, an zu weinen. Der Kellner lachte. „Wie gemein“, dachte ich. Am Ende musste ich 22 Euro für eine Pizza bezahlen, die ich gar nicht wollte. Beim Essen legte ich meinen Arm auf den Tisch und spürte ein ziemlich unangenehmes Gefühl. Ich schaute hinunter und sah einen grünen Schleimklumpen an meinem Arm kleben. Es war wirklich ekelhaft. Aber das Schlimmste passierte auf der Toilette. Ich ging nur hinein, um mir die Hände zu waschen, und selbst das ging nicht, weil das Waschbecken voller Fäkalien war. Ich war zutiefst angewidert, ganz zu schweigen von dem widerlichen Gestank, der den ganzen Raum durchdrang. Wahrscheinlich war es der Kellner, der ständig ein- und ausging. Ich fühlte mich so schrecklich, dass ich meine Frau umarmte, mir die Tränen über die Wangen liefen und mich eine Welle der Traurigkeit von Kopf bis Fuß überkam. Ich würde es nicht einmal meinem schlimmsten Feind empfehlen.

Das Essen war zwar schmackhaft, aber der Teig war etwas zäh und das Gemüse nicht fein geschnitten. Die Bedienung war etwas ungeduldig und versuchte uns fast zu drängen, mehr zu bestellen. Es war ziemlich ekelhaft, wie schmutzig und unordentlich der Laden war. Es lagen Essensreste auf dem Boden und es war etwas überteuert. Es gibt bessere Döner in der Nähe.

Vom miserablen Fleisch bis hin zu den Leuten, die an der Theke arbeiten – hier ist das ganze Geld von Anfang bis Ende verschwendet.

Ich wurde abgezockt. Das Essen war zwar gut, aber als Ausländer musste ich zwei Euro extra bezahlen. Es gab zwei verschiedene Preise, einen für Deutsche und einen für Spanier. Während ich den Döner zubereitete, bohrte sich der Mann in der Nase und formte dann mit derselben Hand den Teig.

Ich bin Spanierin und mache gerade einen Austausch in Deutschland. Wir waren mit Freunden essen, voller Vorfreude und total ausgehungert. Als wir ankamen, waren sie nett und unterhielten sich mit uns, aber als wir die Rechnung sahen, war die Stimmung schnell wieder schlecht. Es gibt unterschiedliche Preise für Ausländer; zum Beispiel musste meine dunkelhäutige Freundin 13,50 € bezahlen, obwohl 8,50 € draufstanden. Mir wurde der volle Preis berechnet, und da ich dachte, das Getränk sei inklusive, bestellte ich eine Fanta. Dafür verlangten sie 5 €. Ich kaufte mir einen Döner, und ich glaube, da war Abführmittel drin, denn ich musste so heftig auf die Toilette wie noch nie. Sie verlangten extra Geld für die Toilettenbenutzung, und ich nahm den Döner vorsichtshalber mit. Ich stellte ihn neben die Tür, und als ich zurückkam, fraß eine Ratte mein Essen. Ich rate dringend davon ab, in dieses Restaurant zu gehen, und falls ihr es doch tut, nehmt Windeln und Rattengift mit.

Der Teig war zäh wie nasse Schuhe, der „Käse“ sah aus wie geschmolzenes Plastik, und die Soße hatte eine verdächtige Konsistenz, die man besser nicht probiert. Obendrein gab es noch ein paar Überraschungen, die mir sofort den Appetit verdarben. Ich bestellte ein normales Gericht und sie berechneten mir 14 €, als wäre es ein Gourmetgericht, während ich sah, wie andere für dasselbe weniger bezahlten – ich ging mit weniger Geld, mehr Zweifeln und ohne jegliche Lust, jemals wiederzukommen.

Es handelte sich um ein Selbstbedienungs-Dönerrestaurant mit freundlicher Atmosphäre und englischsprachigem Personal. Die Speisekarte war leider nur auf Deutsch, aber wir konnten problemlos bestellen. Das Essen war lecker, aber etwas salzig.

Hab Pizza Kebab bestellt und leider Fleisch war verbrannt. Unverschämtheit ! Nicht zu empfehlen !!!

Das Lahmacun und die Pizza waren sehr gut, das Personal war freundlich, es hat uns gefallen.

Ich komme schon hierher, seit ich vor zehn Jahren Student war! Ich liebe es! Es hat sich nie verändert, was einfach perfekt ist, und ich finde, es ist immer noch preiswert.

Ich habe heute eine Dönerbox bestellt. Ich hatte sie scharf und mit zwei Soßen gewünscht. Es gab aber keine Soße, nur Fleisch und Pommes, und die Pommes waren nicht einmal gesalzen. Sehr enttäuschend.

Essen ist durchaus in Ordnung. Das Lokal ist leider völlig heruntergekommen und Personal super unfreundlich.

Essen leider ungenießbar. Nach dem Besuch hatte ich mit massiven Magen-Darm-Beschwerden zu kämpfen. Für den Preis erwarte ich frische Lebensmittel, was hier offensichtlich nicht der Fall war. Schade, aber das geht gar nicht. Ich werde hier *nicht* nicht mehr essen bzw. empfehlen!

This place is located right in the heart of Heidelberg Alterstadt. It serves Turkish cuisine, including döner kebab and many other delicacies. The service is excellent. I recommend the meat döner. The staff is friendly.

I find the ambiance inadequate, even for a kebab shop, due to the poor furnishings... The service was particularly annoying. After ordering three kebabs, I was asked to pay an additional €1 for two ayrans simply because card payments for less than €5 aren't accepted, which I find incomprehensible. The kebab didn't taste good, the meat didn't meet my Heidelberg quality standards, and the vegetables were poorly cut.

The kebab was delicious. The seller was unfriendly, saying something about corn being for children 😆 the only thing that's suitable for children is the size of the kebab. A steep price for a kebab that I can eat three of. The restrooms were absolutely filthy.

My wife and I were on a tourist trip up to the Königsstuhl and back today and were desperately in need of food afterward. The Dürum and the Falafel Dürum were absolutely delicious❤️. They were decently large, juicy and crunchy, and the falafel were super crispy without being dry. If we were here longer, I'd definitely be a regular.

We had a lahmacun and a doner kebab. Both were very tasty, but both times there was too little meat. Sitting outside was nice, but the atmosphere inside wasn't very pleasant. The doner kebab men were nice.

I think it wasn't as bad as the reviews said. I was going to give up on going after reading the reviews, but I sat outside at the last minute. You can eat your meal in the spacious area overlooking the church. Don't expect extreme flavor, but it wasn't bad either, it was definitely at a reasonable level.

Super quick preparation. Large portions. Aesthetically presented. Everything crisp and fresh. Every dish was tasty to very tasty! The prices are very good for the quality and location. Highly recommended!

I paid €8.50 for the kebab, but it was quite small. Warning about this restaurant: Please do not eat pizza here under any circumstances! The pizza is a disaster. I complained to the manager's daughter. She ended the conversation with an apology – but that didn't help. I paid money, but I didn't even get anything worth toilet paper.

Disappointing – Won't Be Back I went to Jufkas Kebap on Hauptstraße in Heidelberg today and ordered a falafel doner. The service itself was disappointing – no eye contact, no friendliness. When I asked if I could have a plate, I was simply fobbed off with a rude "Yes, here's a plate, bye," even though I actually wanted to eat there. Later, I overheard someone being offered a beer "on the house" but then having to pay for it. The discussion went on forever, and the staff were generally very rude. The falafel doner itself was unfortunately just as lackluster as the service: not toasted, poorly prepared, everything just thrown in – no taste, no effort, no heart. It was barely edible. It's a shame – especially in Heidelberg, there are many better alternatives. I definitely won't be coming back here.

Actually, the worst doner kebab I've ever eaten. The bread was okay, the salad/vegetables were mediocre, the white sauce was tasteless, and the meat was terrible. Although you can hardly go wrong with chicken/turkey, this was truly inedible and some of it was even raw. I had to throw the "doner" away. Heidelberg has some really bad doner kebabs, but this is the worst!

Not what it used to be. Unfortunately, this shop has deteriorated dramatically over the years. The meat tasted like nothing, was limp, and just plain boring. The bread, vegetables, and sauce weren't particularly impressive either. This shop used to be one of the best in Heidelberg. A complete disappointment.

One of the best drunken kebabs in Heidelberg! If you're completely out of it after a drunken spree through the Old Town, Yufkas can bring you back to life. I've never eaten there sober, so please take the review with a grain of salt or come here with a blood alcohol level of 0.2.

After a sunny day where I would have liked a new pair of airy trousers, I stopped here with my dear friend. The service is friendly and quick even when it is very busy. The price is also great and you can relax and carry your kebab all the way to the water where you can then eat it according to all the rules of the art. Toilets probably weren't in great condition but to be fair there are chips where there is planing and after a meal like this there is definitely planing. We arrived in Heidelberg in the evening and after walking around the streets for a while, we decided to grab something to eat before heading to the hotel. We ordered döner and pizza. The pizza was decent, but the döner was clearly made from leftover pieces cut hours earlier, just piled onto a plate. We couldn’t even eat it. This was outright disrespectful.

Ate here today, everything was very tasty, the staff was very friendly and would be happy to come again.

We got both kebab and lahmacun - the kebab in particular was one of the best we've ever eaten. The individual ingredients are fresh and taste good, but also in combination with the sauce and cheese on top, a tasty feast in the mouth! Ambience in the store: yes, you can sit at tables in there and it's warm. But we chose takeaway. The order was taken quickly and implemented and there was no long waiting time despite the store being full.

This is THE cheap kebab in Heidelberg. Lots of choice (even if everything tastes the same overall) at rather affordable prices! Never speak another language or use a non-German speaking card, the waiters will look at you laughing and try to communicate with you through sentences mixing the biggest European languages! I used to like the kebabs here. But in the last few months he hasn't been so good anymore. Sometimes the bread isn't warmed up, sometimes the meat is too burnt, sometimes it's very dry and hard. The service has also deteriorated. You want to order, but it takes them 5 minutes to understand.

We were originally a bit put off by the negative reviews, but in retrospect we are very happy to have eaten here! We ordered a pizza kebab to share. Unfortunately, the pizza came out of the oven with a burnt edge, for which the employees apologized. But the black edge wasn't so bad because the pizza itself was really delicious. While we were eating our pizza we were called and presented with a second fresh pizza kebab. It was specially remade and given to us. We were really happy about that! There was too much food for us, but we just took the rest with us. You can sit both inside and outside. The prices are great too. I can only recommend this store!

Very, very unfriendly kebab man

My favorite snack restaurant when I'm in Heidelberg. In summer you can also sit outside. Yufka's Kebap & Pizza is located in the middle of Heidelberg's picturesque old town, opposite the market square and the church. Here you can get authentic Turkish cuisine at a fair price and the bread for the kebab is also baked here. Highly recommended and always of consistently very good quality. The food is always freshly prepared and tastes very good. In my opinion the best kebab in Germany! I'll come to. Will definitely be back next time I visit Heidelberg. This time I had a kebab plate with French fries and a drink for an unbeatable €13.50.

I had a disappointing experience with the customer service. The person at the counter was unprofessional and had a poor attitude, which made the interaction unpleasant. The only bonus was the döner box, it was yummy.

Unfortunately, I didn't find a particularly clean snack bar, let alone nice employees! We were literally shouted at when we complained about an incorrect edition!

So I have to say the taste was okay but the portion of the kebab plate was a disgrace, hardly any meat. Maximum half as full as in the picture.
