The elevator whisks you up quickly, where you're greeted warmly and escorted to your seat. The stunning panoramic view of Dresden is the first delight. The food and drinks are of good quality, and the service is friendly and attentive!

Delicious beer, excellent cold dog (a type of German chocolate cake), apparently a training establishment that deserves the utmost respect these days. Friendly service, lovely GDR atmosphere; it's a shame you can't go inside the dome, but you can still see parts of it and appreciate its beauty. Dogs allowed!

Six of us were there today... anything but recommendable. The staff were a bit disorganized and overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The ambiance is really showing its age. But the worst part was really the food. We ate schnitzel, rump steak, salmon, and aspic. None of it was particularly good... the schnitzel was fried to the point of shoe soles, the fish was fried to perfection, and the rump steak was cooked all the way through instead of medium. The drinks were always just 0.2 glasses, but for 0.4... Our request that the chef please try his own food was ignored and probably not even paid. The bill wasn't adjusted for the disappointing dinner, and we left the restaurant frustrated. Absolutely not recommendable.

That was half the battle for a successful evening. The service? Impeccable, almost suspiciously attentive. You'd think they knew you were coming for the food and not just the view. But let's be honest, the real highlight is, of course, the view. It's simply breathtaking, almost cinematic. And when you look out the window at the perfect moment and see some hot air balloons leisurely drifting past on the horizon... Well, then you understand why you'd probably have to take out a small loan for this table. It's an experience that transforms mere dinner into an *event*. Now, as for the pricing: Yes, it's a little above average. But what do you expect? The hot air balloons don't pay their rent with air and love, and that view needs to be maintained. Despite the slight shock when paying, the pork schnitzel was worth every cent. Crispy, tender, and eaten at this location, it's a meal fit for a king. A little tip for warm-weather gourmets: When the weather's good, the rooftop beer garden is open. A must! Go there, enjoy the food, and especially the view. Best time is just before sunset. Afterward, your wallet might feel a little empty, but your soul will be all the more satisfied.

The food was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy. The value for money is reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A place you should visit! I've been there twice now. Once in a warm September with 20 people. We were served wonderfully and kindly by exceptional staff, first enjoying the panorama outside on the terrace and then having dinner inside. Afterward, we were there again with 36 people, and the entire staff served us quickly and easily from the à la carte menu. Everything was delicious, (guest)friendly, and with a lot of heart and soul. WE'LL BE AGAIN!!! Thank you.

I always enjoy visiting both the restaurant and the beer garden. The beer garden is certainly more pleasant, but even from the restaurant, you have a wonderful view of the city or Radebeul. The whole experience is rounded out by the attentive service and the lovingly prepared and delicious food. If you're looking for a pleasant, relaxing stay away from the tourist hustle and bustle, this is the place for you.

Disgusting! I don't recommend it! We ordered schnitzel with potato salad. The meat was tough and the taste was disgusting! The salad was potatoes with vinegar and mustard. The dish looked completely unappetizing! It looked like the salad had been ready-made in the fridge and the schnitzel had been reheated in the microwave! You'd get better food at a regular cafe. Plus, there was a half-asleep fly sitting on the window! Horrible!

The location and the view over Dresden are truly beautiful. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food wasn't particularly bad, but it wasn't a highlight for me personally. Nevertheless, the overall package is such that I'd be happy to stop by again next time I'm in Dresden.

Very touristy. 1st visit: Restaurant spread over two floors, signage unclear. Supposedly full, but occupancy on the upper floor was estimated at 30%. Wait for food: 1.5 hours without any comments from the waiter. Service: very bad-tempered and unmotivated. Food: Roast lamb well seasoned, the rest was oversalted. Overall, at least on the upper floor, there was a lack of commitment and service. The view is fantastic, but it doesn't make the experience complete. A shame.

I can imagine how utterly fantastic it must be on a totally clear and warm day but even on a cloudy, mild day, it was a great experience. Such a fascinating building and 100% worth a visit on the terrace on 6th floor. We only had drinks (good selection and reasonably priced considering the view) but we saw other people's food and it looked good, if a fair few euros more pricey than normal. Lovely staff too.

If you're looking for something special, this is the place to be. You'll enjoy a fantastic view of the city and be well-fed. There's also a beer garden high above the building, and events like readings and storytelling are held in the dome. However, reservations are required.

We only had a drink on the rooftop here. The view is legendary, and the oriental camouflage of the disused factory is quite original. A must-see on any trip to Dresden.

The decor is very steno. The service is rather slow and reserved. The food took a long time to arrive, but some of it was very good, such as the appetizers, the lamb, and the sauerbraten, but the other dishes were rather dry.

Definitely, because you have a beautiful view of the city. The food was delicious. The service is still a bit grim and abrupt. Once you know it, you're prepared for it.

Vegetarian food NOT recommended! The view is super beautiful. But unfortunately, that was it. The service was unfriendly (among other things, we were given a reproachful lecture about why there were no blankets; when we later moved to the restaurant, the waitress greeted us as if we had no business being there and only reluctantly seated us, even though the restaurant was almost completely empty) and seemed quite overwhelmed. Orders took a very long time, both for drinks and food. The worst part was the vegetarian food. We had a salad with goat's cheese, which turned out to be a portion of bread with cream cheese and a very small pile of salad. Before ordering, we specifically asked if the dish was a proper main course. I found it very disappointing that they didn't point out that it wasn't a large salad. Overall, the food tasted just okay. The prices, however, were very high. Regarding the ambiance: The view is truly stunning. However, the furniture seems cheap and somewhat spoils the atmosphere. Overall, unfortunately, a disappointing visit...

Sitting so comfortably above the rooftops of Dresden is simply worth seeing.

It was a former tobacco factory. Its Orientalist architecture makes it resemble a mosque on the outside. It operates as a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, offering stunning views from above. The food is good, but they didn't have an English menu, and our order took a long time to translate from Czech. But I can say it was worth the wait.

I can recommend taking a look at the interesting architecture and drinking coffee.

I was here in the theater, which is located right in the dome. The theater troupe is one family that lived in India for a long time, they were inspired by its culture and now, having returned to their homeland in Germany, they bring Indian culture to people, do yoga, put on plays. I really liked it!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant. Sure, the view is great, but that's about it. The food is on par with what you'd expect from a beer garden (or a mediocre cafeteria). That wouldn't be an issue if the prices weren't on the high side. The service is slow and untrained. There aren't even towels for drying yourself in the restroom. At €30 for a main course and €5 for a small water, I expect a bit more, sorry.

We thought it would be more of a gimmick coming here, but the food was actually delicious! They offer quite a few Arabic dishes and as far as I can tell, they were authentic and very tasty. The view is perfect, the atmosphere superb. Do visit his place if you are in Dresden.

Located somewhat remote from the old town, right next to the stadium, but still visible. We explored the entire city, including Yenidze, on foot. At first, we mistakenly assumed it was a mosque. Once we got there, we were kindly informed. It used to be a factory. Today, it houses offices, a restaurant, and a rooftop terrace.

GREAT! We celebrated a birthday here today with 20 people. Everything was beautifully decorated and prepared. The staff was very accommodating and incredibly open to all our requests. We have to thank them; it was fantastic!

The food was terrible. I ate half of the portion out of politeness. This was a very big mistake. I had awfull stomach pains and had to be hospitalized. I could never walk again. Please do not visit this place. I beg you. Everything that happanes inside is fully on you.

We went spontaneously and managed to get a seat despite having many reservations (there was an event that evening, so we had a lot of reservations). The staff was very friendly, nice, and funny, just like us Saxons. The food was excellent, and the view made it taste even better. All in all, a worthwhile visit.

Great place to have a good meal high above the rooftops and enjoy the view or the sunset. Employees are friendly and attentive. The menu is extensive, everyone should find something to please their palate😉! We had fish with an oriental touch and fish in a potato-ginger coating. Both were good. The curds, which we didn't know, were also delicious.

I recently organized a dinner for 21 colleagues at this restaurant and had sent an email in advance with the names and their respective orders clearly listed. Unfortunately, despite this, their staff member still asked for the orders again, which caused unnecessary confusion. The restaurant itself offered very limited food options, especially for vegetarians, which was disappointing. Additionally, the seating arrangement was not ideal—there wasn't enough space to accommodate everyone together, and we ended up sitting in a circle, similar to a conference table. This setup made it difficult to communicate or interact with the other 10 members at the table. Considering the prices, I believe the restaurant needs significant improvements in both their service and overall customer experience. The staff was not very welcoming, which added to the overall dissatisfaction. While the experience was okay, there’s definitely room for improvement.

We were in the winter garden with several people. Food was okay, you got full but now nothing that I would go back a second time because of the food. Service was friendly.. We sat near the kitchen and here you should perhaps tell the team that you can hear the kitchen in the dining room.. it's not good if an employee burps loudly and celebrates.. sorry, that's not possible !

At first the property looks very inviting. However, the interior of the restaurant is very simple and is more reminiscent of a new apartment than a restaurant with an oriental flair. In addition, the view is not exactly the most beautiful and the service leaves a lot to be desired. To say something about the food, this has little to do with oriental cuisine, but is more similar to German home cooking, which, however, does not taste like grandma's, but rather like bought cheaply in the supermarket. I would not recommend this restaurant.
