A very nice view over the roofs of Dresden. Small but fine menu at reasonable prices. The service is very nice, funny and accommodating. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend it to others. Vegetarian and, if desired, vegan dishes can be ordered.

The view is magnificent. The service was courteous and very friendly. The food is absolutely recommended. We had a wonderful view of Dresden and were then on the roof terrace. Of course it is quite windy there. At the moment the elevator does not go up to the restaurant due to construction work. The stairs are quite difficult for people who are not very good at walking. Unfortunately, the seats are also quite narrow, but there's probably no other way to solve that because of the curve. All in all, recommended, especially if you're looking for something unusual.

A place that has potential for more. The restaurant could use a breath of fresh air. Otherwise nice view and suitable for a satisfying coffee break.

Many thanks in particular to the friendly and attentive service staff, who enabled us to find space on bar stools at the bar table despite the large number of people and a tour group. The food was very tasty and we had a very nice evening with a breathtaking sunset.

Wir haben selten so schlecht gegessen. Das konnte leider auch die nette Bedienung nicht mehr wettmachen. Der Reis war kalt, die Zuccini haben die Pfanne mindestens. schon 2x gesehen, da war nichts mehr grün - ganz gruslig. Und dann noch der Preis, absoluter Reinfall das ganze.

Beautiful roof terrace above the roofs of Dresden. Great view of Dresden. Great building from 1907. Good, fast service with Dresden charm. We didn't eat, just drank good Apperol. The dome is great made of colorful glass. But you can't get in if there's no theater performance. Entrance at the back from the parking lot (public? but there is a large parking garage right next to it). Entrance from the back with elevator towards the restaurant, then various corridors and stairs towards the restaurant and then turn towards the roof terrace. Maybe there's a shorter way.

We visited the beer garden, unfortunately it is a rather unprofessional terrace bar. Concrete ambience.

The food was very poor considering the price. When they heard the Polish language, the service stopped being nice.

We were there on Monday and got a great spot on the roof terrace. From there you have a fantastic panoramic view and can see a great sunset in the evening. The waitresses were all very friendly and accommodating. The food came very quickly and was of fantastic quality, so the price-performance ratio was more than right. If I'm in Dresden again, I'll definitely come back.

The neo-Moorish, mosque-like building of the former Yenidze Tobacco Factory in Dresden. Its name comes from the town where it imported tobacco. It was built between 1907-1909 according to the plans of the architect Martin Hammitzsch. Today it is a building with a social role (offices, restaurant).

Food looked great, was ok. The male waitress was nice and attentive, the ladies were allowed to practice with me. We came spontaneously and only got a seat in the middle. We didn't care, but it was very stuffy there because there was no air supply.

The food tastes wonderful. The employees could be more motivated. Many people walk around with their fists clenched in their faces. It can't be the ambience of the restaurant. It's just beautiful here. And the chef is great.

My husband and I were able to spend a wonderful wedding anniversary here. The view that you can enjoy of Dresden is already worth recommending. The staff is very friendly and happy to joke at any time. The menu is oriental, but even if you don't like that, you can still find delicious dishes. We had reserved in advance, which I would definitely recommend, even on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant was busy, but there wasn't a long wait. In terms of price, I would classify the restaurant in the middle range. We won't wait too long before our next visit.

Great location with an impressive roof terrace. Unfortunately the waiter is completely out of place. We ordered food and asked again after a while. "Is in processing" More than half an hour later we paid and left. Guests who arrived long after us had already had their food. With four tables occupied, this must be noticeable. A former tobacco factory with a very oriental look. There is a restaurant in the glass dome. Popularly known as the Cigarette Mosque.

At first we thought it was a mosque, but there was this great restaurant on the 6th and 7th floors. Restaurant with a roof terrace and above it a restaurant in the dome of the building. We were completely satisfied. You have to climb stairs for the last 2 floors.

A bit strenuous to reach - via numerous trepoons. You will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Dresden's old town and very friendly service!

I chose the restaurant because I found the former cigarette factory building interesting. On site we saw that the actual entrance area was cordoned off with tape and DIN A4 signs guided us through the rather run-down inner courtyard through the office corridor in need of renovation into the restaurant. The beer garden was closed due to the weather, it had rained in the morning. We took the elevator up to the 5th floor and took the stairs to the last two floors. When we arrived at the top we were greeted warmly and found a seat by the window in the old-fashioned restaurant. We ordered the Dresden Sauerbraten twice. It didn't look bad at all, but it was. The dumplings were lukewarm and undercooked. The meat was extremely tough and the sauce had a dominant clove taste, not tasty. Red cabbage also tasted strongly of cloves, I've never eaten it so badly. And given the ambience, I don't understand how it can be described as good. From the outside, especially in the evening, certainly very beautiful. But only from the outside from a distance.

Great outdoor dining with a view over the city. Of course, things get a bit quick at altitude as soon as there is a slight breeze. Appropriate clothing helps. Delicious food with a partly oriental touch, affordable but of course not a gourmet temple.

Lately I've noticed that negative reviews are being deleted and no visible effort is being made to improve the service. It is disappointing that my complaints and those of other customers are not being taken seriously. I hope that you will address this matter seriously and take steps to improve the quality of your service.

Aussergewöhnliches Restaurant im 5. Stock mit Superaussicht über die ganze Stadt. Das Essen war super, moderate Preise, ebenfalls sehr nette und kompetente Bedienung. Wir können dieses Lokal sehr empfehlen.

The factory where Turkish tobacco was processed and sold to the world during the Ottoman Period. Since it was built in an orientalist style, the number of people who think of it as a mosque is considerable. Nowadays, it is run like a kind of restaurant.

I was expecting more oriental food, but it was still very tasty. Four of us with two dogs were warmly welcomed and looked after 🤩

It was closed when we went because it was a holiday, unfortunately we couldn't visit it, it was very wonderful in terms of structure.

In March there were three of us with a child in the restaurant and we wanted to have lunch. Our request to be allowed on the terrace for a few photos was denied by the staff and we should come back in April. I asked again because the key was also there, just for a few photos please, we have to wait for the food anyway. Come back in April and it will be open. Yes, and so we left without eating lunch. The two ladies couldn't have been overwhelmed as we were the only guests at the time. It's a shame when you go about your work so listlessly. So my recommendations will be accordingly.

There are some negative reviews here that I can't understand at all. The service was very nice and attentive. Our food was delicious and the Yenidze espresso was very good. I can recommend it and we will definitely come back.

In terms of architecture, the Yenidze is similar to a mosque...but it isn't...it used to be a cigar stand...now it's an event location.

We ate on the outside terrace this evening....just great. 4 different meals, all great. Service top. Ambience fantastic. We will be back definitely.

Roof terrace with a beautiful view. We only had drinks. Unfortunately, the iced coffee was carelessly prepared in a simple glass cup. Elevator and small restaurant seem to need some maintenance.

On recommendation and without a reservation, we managed to get a seat despite the many reserved tables. Despite the limited 1.15 hours, we had a very good dinner. The view was ok here and there. Definitely fantastic at sunset.

Dort wollte ich schon immer einmal hin. Ein tolles Gebäude. Innen hat man davon, außer einem schönen Blick, leider wenig. 90’er Jahre Einrichtung. Bemühte, aber gequälte Bedienung. Die knusprigen Bratkartoffeln waren gespickt mit verbrannten schwarzen Zwiebeln. “Das machen wir hier so, wenn sie neue möchten, kann das aber dauern’”. Immerhin gab es ein Getränk umsonst. Man kann in die Kuppel blicken, darf aber nicht dort hoch. Schade, ich hatte mehr erwartet

The gastronomy in the Yenidze or a visit is an insider tip for me. The panoramic view of Dresden is impressive when the weather is nice. I'm so excited. For that I give it another five stars. Nothing has changed, everything is great.

We spent our Christmas party here with the company and were very satisfied. The mulled wine reception was great, the staff were always very friendly and helpful and the food was terrific! We'd love to come back! Thank you for everything!

Wir hatten einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen und wollten ihn einlösen. Die Aussicht ist toll. Das merkt man am Preis der Speisen. Mein Fleisch war auf dem kalten Teller angerichtet und demzufolge nach sehr kurzer Zeit auch nicht mehr heiß. Sah gut aus. Hätte besser geschmeckt wenn es auf einem warmen Teller serviert worden wäre. Wir hatten etwas besseres für den Preis erwartet.

A beautiful facility with restaurants. At first glance, the appearance of the building itself reminds you of a mosque. In any case, a recommendation to visit.

Ambience of the restaurant was rather cool. The dome is a theater and cannot be accessed or visited - there is a separate staircase. Oriental food harem feast was a simple roast lamb with green beans and rice. Was good - would have expected something different from this description in terms of seasoning and presentation.

Schönes, ruhiges Restaurant mit tollen Gerichten und nettem Personal. Der Ausblick auf Dresden ist auch sehenswert.

Ottima vista su Dresda, il cibo è il solito tedesco rivisto in salsa araba. Il menù è solo in tedesco ma la caposala parla inglese. Immagino in estate sia molto carino bere qualcosa all’aperto con vista sulla città.

Es muy bonito, parece una sinagoga pero anteriormente alojó una fábrica de tabaco. Se construyó entre los años 1908 y 1909. No dejen de ir a conocerlo.

Schönes Ambiente. Wenn man bestellt hat sollte man viel zeitiger vor Ort sein, weil man nur mit dem Fahrstuhl nach oben fahren kann. Treppe ist nur für den Notfall nehmen wir an.

Essen war lecker. Personal sehr freundlich. Nur das ewige Warten am Fahrstuhl ist etwas anstrengend.

Waren heute dort speisen. Ohne Reservierung gleich einen Platz bekommen. Netter Service! Das Essen ( Kartoffelsuppe, Rumpsteak, Schnitzel mit Kartoffelgurkensalat ) hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Gehen morgen erneut hin, da Samstag die Heimreise ansteht. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen.

Schönes Restaurant, Essen hat gut geschmeckt aber kalt! Lange Wartezeit bei nur halb vollem Restaurant. Portionen sehr übersichtlich, Dressing beim Salatteller so scharf das es nicht essbar war. Auf keinen Fall wieder!!

Eines der weniger bekannten Wahrzeichen von Dresden, dennoch sticht die Yenidze aufgrund ihres Aussehens hervor. Sehr schönes Gebäude und definitiv einen Besuch wert!
