A unique restaurant, cozy, with a very appealing ambiance and an excellent location directly on the Elbe. Highly recommended.

The whole experience was fantastic, from setting the table to the food, the friendliness, everything was beautiful and superb. We'd love to come back.

On Saturdays, the food selection is very limited. What you see in the beautiful pictures on the website doesn't match what's on offer in person. Far too expensive for the price. What a shame...

An idyllic, shady spot under ancient chestnut trees with a view of the Blaues Wunder (Blue Wonder), sunsets over the Elbe Valley, delicious food, a generous selection of drinks, and humorous staff... and if a chestnut actually makes it into your beer, you'll get extra laughs 😅🍻👍🏻

We reserved a table for two for Sunday evening and brought our dog. After a very friendly welcome, the dog was immediately given a bowl of water. Very nice, thanks again for that! Our meal was absolutely fantastic, beautifully presented, and delicious! The waiter's advice was excellent! We didn't have to wait long for our food either. We came here with a Groupon voucher for a two-course meal including a drink. We chose the Fireplace Room. A very nice table, and we were given a non-alcoholic drink right at the start. Then we each chose an appetizer and a main course. The first course, brunchetta and a cucumber and melon salad, arrived soon after. All very tasty and already filling. Then we took a short break and walked a few steps onto the terrace. After that, we moved on to the main course: a bowl and a spiced meat with a delicious homemade lemonade. All in all, the staff were charming, incredibly friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Unfortunately, the food looked better than it tasted. After the evening, we both felt ill, with stomach aches, headaches, and bloating. Therefore, we are no longer so impressed with the food and probably won't be coming back.

Due to its location, this venue is a highlight. The food and service were excellent, as always. We'd love to come back.

A very nice restaurant right next to the Blue Wonder. The service was very friendly, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Parking is also free. We'll definitely be back. An absolute highlight in terms of both cuisine and location, right on the Elbe River with a wonderful view of the steamers and the beautiful Blue Wonder. Perfect.

We had a relaxing evening, sitting for hours, drinking, and eating in waves. There was a new waiter who often had to ask questions. But we always got what we wanted and the quality was really good. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

Update September 3, 2025: After returning for brunch four months later and often recommending it to friends and family, the enthusiasm on Sunday wasn't quite as great. Therefore, I'm deducting points here. Unfortunately, the service staff disagreed on whether egg dishes were possible. We were only allowed to order a boiled egg, a scrambled egg, or an omelet without any additional ingredients. But that was precisely what impressed us so much on our first visit: you could order the scrambled eggs exactly how you wanted them, rather than just the plain scrambled eggs from the buffet like in many other restaurants. Although there were significantly fewer guests on our second visit, the overall organization seemed poor, with frequent bottlenecks at the buffet. At the end of our visit, we expressed our opinion to the restaurant manager upon request and hope that the high standards will be restored. ***** April 6, 2025: 5 stars We were invited to brunch today, and four of us were guests at the Elbegarten. We had a lovely seat by the window and were greeted and served by an extremely charming waiter. We liked the selection of dishes. One small criticism: some dishes that weren't clearly recognizable weren't labeled at the buffet (salads, spreads, etc.). The price seems relatively high compared to other restaurants for a brunch, but there's filter coffee in thermoses on the table, and the buffet offers water, apple juice, and orange juice. Tea is also included in the price. There was an option to have boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, or scrambled eggs prepared with various ingredients, which we really liked. We parked in the public parking lot by the Elbe, which is free on Sundays. However, there were also plenty of parking spaces on the Elbegarten's grounds.

We hosted our wedding reception brunch for 20 people in the Spring Room at the Elbgarten. We didn't want to leave. The food was excellent (buffet), the service was attentive and always on point, and the venue and rooms naturally invite you to linger. The tables were beautifully decorated, and we were able to take a deep breath here after our ceremony at the registry office. We later dined again on the restaurant terrace, and everything was to our complete satisfaction.

Highly recommended for a stopover at any time. Beautiful views of the Elbe River and surrounding area.

We were served professionally and warmly on the terrace in beautiful weather. The Wiener schnitzel was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious with lamb's lettuce and lukewarm potato salad. We'll be back.

Very friendly and quick service, cozy atmosphere both inside and outside, the food delicious, only the veal schnitzel was as thin as a slice of sausage with a thick coating.

We enjoyed ourselves on the terrace on a warm summer evening. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was friendly and attentive, although they served still water instead of sparkling mineral water. Whatever, we were thirsty, and it was quenched. We'd be happy to return :-)

A fantastic location, and the prices are certainly justified. The food selection is okay for a beer garden, but nothing special. The men's restrooms feature birdsong and a long stainless steel trough. I found everything cozy, but they politely kick you out around 9:30. That's in Dresden, I was really surprised.

The quality of the brunch menu has declined significantly. This assessment is based on the fact that this was not the first time I visited the restaurant. Therefore, only 3 stars. The service gets 4 stars. The service is good and quick. The ambiance is debatable, but 4 stars are well-deserved.

Very nice restaurant. Right on the Elbe River. Great service, and the wine was also very good. The Wiener Schnitzel, however, wasn't a hit; it was firm and dry for my taste.

We were very satisfied with the food (schnitzel and potato salad) and the waiter. We would return to this restaurant again. The atmosphere was great. There was only one thing we didn't like: the salad (lamb's lettuce) was placed on top of the schnitzel. An extra bowl or plate would have been appropriate.

...despite the fact that we were initially rejected because we were fully booked and had several family celebrations, we still found a solution together💪

We had a brunch here at a private celebration in a secluded room. Busy day (Sunday). Very nice atmosphere, floral decorations at all tables. Everyone would be fed up, there was something for everyone, unfortunately the dessert lovers didn't get enough. Creme Brulee was gone quickly and, citing other desserts, would not be refilled. Less opulence at the buffet would be nicer in favor of a refill guarantee, but still worth a visit.

An all-round successful visit – everything was just right. We would particularly like to highlight the beautiful ambience and the extremely friendly and attentive waitress. Thanks to her warm manner, we felt completely at home. ☺️

Very nice atmosphere and the location directly on the Elbe and the Blue Wonder is fantastically beautiful.

Actually the food (Wiener Schnitzel) was very good and the portion was also very plentiful. In my opinion, a potato salad with bacon doesn't go well with Wiener Schnitzel (I actually know Wiener Schnitzel either with lukewarm potato/cucumber salad (with cucumber) or with fried potatoes). But that's just my personal taste.
