Regarding the food, unfortunately I wasn't as enthusiastic as I was a year ago

Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is somewhat subtly seasoned but of high quality.

We liked it very much. We intend to celebrate our next class reunion with you in September 2025.

Class reunion, great atmosphere (fireplace room)

Actually the food (Wiener Schnitzel) was very good and the portion was also very plentiful. In my opinion, a potato salad with bacon doesn't go well with Wiener Schnitzel (I actually know Wiener Schnitzel either with lukewarm potato/cucumber salad (with cucumber) or with fried potatoes). But that's just my personal taste.

We went for brunch on Sunday with 17 people. It was very beautiful and also delicious. Several of our group would have liked real rolls for breakfast. When I had reserved it was 38 euros per person. Now it was 39.50 euros. I understand that it's a mixed calculation, but it's still a very high price. The service was great. Thank you very much

Good food, super nice service, nice ambience

Very friendly staff, good normal range of food and a great location right on the Elbe. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, unfortunately the tables are relatively close together, the acoustics are not the best (loud) and can be tiring in the long run.

We were invited to brunch today and four of us were guests at the Elbegarten. We had a nice seat by the window and were greeted and served by an extremely charming waiter. We liked the selection of dishes. A small point of criticism: dishes that were not clearly visible were not labeled at the buffet (salads, spreads, etc.) The price seems relatively high for brunch compared to other restaurants, but there is filter coffee in thermoses on the table and there is water, apple juice and orange juice at the buffet. Tea is also included in the price. There was an offer to have boiled eggs, set eggs or scrambled eggs prepared with various ingredients, which we really liked. We parked in the public parking lot on the Elbe, which is free on Sundays. But there were also a large number of parking spaces on the Elbegarten property.

The food was very tasty. The ambience is very nice. We ate in the library and thought it was a great interior design idea. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Rarely eaten so well. We had a voucher through Groupon and it was perfect. The dishes are very sophisticated and above-average tasty. The service was attentive and friendly and the ambience was very tasteful. This is exactly how I imagine going to a restaurant.

The menu we had booked was no longer available because the new menu came into effect on the same day of our visit, but we were once again very satisfied with the craftsmanship as well as the innovative ideas in putting together the dishes, some of them surprising, top quality, delicately prepared with the best fresh ingredients. The service was attentive and quick, the great ambience and the location right on the banks of the Elbe, virtually under the "blue wonder", also leaves nothing to be desired. We are already looking forward to our next visit on the occasion of our next stay in Dresden. Keep it up!

We ordered a buffet for 28 people and it was excellent in every respect. An individual assessment is hardly possible.

We were here for brunch on Sunday. A warm welcome, cozy atmosphere and the buffet was great, everything was delicious and it was always refilled. Highly recommended, we'll let ourselves be pampered again. Thanks to the entire team.

We had a brunch here at a private celebration in a secluded room. Busy day (Sunday). Very nice atmosphere, floral decorations at all tables. Everyone would be full, there was something for everyone, unfortunately the dessert friends came up a little short, creme brulee was quickly gone and, citing a variety of other things, would not be refilled. Less opulence at the buffet would be nicer in favor of a refill guarantee, but still worth a visit. Good place!

We went curling in the Elbe Garden and were looked after very nicely on the track. It was really fun. Afterwards there was coffee and cake in the restaurant. The service and atmosphere were good there too.

Super nice evening with delicious food

We visited for the first time a year ago and were thrilled. Unfortunately this time it was a complete disappointment! The food was really bad. It was cold, the meat was tough and the fish was completely dried out. We won't be coming back even though the waiter was super nice. Price-performance doesn't fit here!

It's a wonderful place, very close to the blue wonder, with very nice restaurants. We had a separate room for our family celebration. The table was lovingly set and the staff was always unobtrusively there for us. We had a wonderful celebration. Thank you for that!

We visited the restaurant as part of a painting course offered there and had a cocktail and a snack beforehand. The restaurant is stylishly furnished and offers a modern menu. Drinks and food (1x beef tartare and 1x smoked salmon crostini) were extremely tasty. The service is very professional, friendly and attentive. A successful evening and certainly not the last visit!

Tasteless and carelessly prepared saddle of veal with marjoram crust, port wine-elderberry sauce, glazed carrot spinach, potato gratin. A disappointment for €28.50.

Like last year, we spent New Year's Eve here with 8 friends. Unfortunately, the evening was ruined by a regular guest (according to the security statement) of the house considerably clouded. Unfortunately, our efforts to get him to please avoid us didn't work. We contacted security, they tried to get the guest to avoid us. Unfortunately, he was very unreasonable and repeatedly ignored the instructions. Ultimately we, not the other guest, were sent off. I asked to speak to the manager, but unfortunately this was not possible. We are very disappointed with the behavior of the security company. Last year we had beautiful ones here Hours were spent and, of course, quite a bit of sales were made. I worked in the catering industry for 16 years, so situations like this are very familiar to me. I tried to de-escalate several times In the end, 8 guests were thrown out because of 1 guest who didn't behave appropriately.

The ambience is good as always. We had a table with 2 children (6 + 7 years) in a corner in the next room, so that the children did not disturb other guests while they were playing. The service was good. Unfortunately the food is less so. The roast duck or goose was served in a very small casserole dish, so that there was little or no sauce. There was no extra sauce on the table either. This also affected the other types of meat, so that the dumplings had to be eaten dry. However, the dumplings were very tasty. The dessert was served way too late and wasn't enough. I would have liked a small buffet for the children with pasta, fries and the like. Queuing at the buffets was also annoying. Several smaller buffets distributed throughout the room would have made more sense here. Since the buffet was the main component here, I can only give it 3 stars overall.

We were there for dinner on December 22nd, 2024. The restaurant was very large but there were very few guests on site. The waiter showed us to our table and was nice. We were very disappointed with the food. The starter was okay but nothing more. For the main course we had Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad. And that was incredibly bad. The meat is wafer-thin, tough and dry. The lamb's lettuce was spread over the schnitzel so that you couldn't immediately recognize this old schnitzel. I complained about it. It was also taken back without any problems. The new one was a little better... but not really tasty either. In the picture you can see the old and new on my companion's plate. There really are better restaurants there.

Bombastic food in a modern, cozy atmosphere, food with very good, high-quality ingredients. Have been there five times now and have not been disappointed again. This time we felt like second class guests, even though the food was okay. Our previous visits were much more enjoyable. Although there were several tables available for four people, we were allocated a table and could not change it. It took a long time before the first drink order was placed. Instead of medium water we got still water and of course without apology. Much more time passed without service after the meal. We had to formally ask for further service (and later payment). We haven't been this disappointed in a long time.

Together with our guests we were at the Elbe Garten restaurant on Christmas Day for lunch. The food was delicious and the selection was good. As expected, the atmosphere was very pleasant. We were there for Christmas dinner for the first time today. Overwhelmed by the beautiful and cozy atmosphere, large selection at the warm and cold buffet and despite the rush at the warm buffet, it was very quiet and civilized. The kitchen staff always tried very hard to fill up the food quickly, perhaps they should have used chafings to relieve the kitchen staff more and to have the hot food better in stock. All in all we were completely satisfied.

The Christmas dinner (buffet) was excellent. Both the cold and warm parts were varied. The only thing that was annoying was the long queue at the hot buffet. Maybe next time the hot buffet can be set up on two sides of the restaurant. This means that other guests would not be bothered by the queue while eating.

Wir haben im Freiluftbereich Bratwurst, Currywurst und Pommes bestellt. Alle drei Sachen hatten eine schlechte Qualität. Typisches Touristenlokal.

The very modern and cozy atmosphere as well as excellent cuisine were decisive factors in choosing our family celebration in this restaurant. Here the guest is still king. The best service and hospitality are a given here. Highly recommended! Dog friendly!

Unfortunately I can't share the good reviews at the moment. We ordered brunch for 2 people on November 23rd, 2024. The order was also taken. 3 days before we were called that the table was needed for 8 people and we couldn't have the brunch and therefore the reservation was no longer valid. No apology or anything like that was made, only the remark that we would be welcome to eat a la carte…. We didn't accept this because we just wanted to have brunch. We find this behavior incredibly cheeky and are asking the question whether a cancellation of this kind by the restaurant with this reason is even legally possible (Terms and Conditions?). Perhaps there should have been some other accommodation in the event of incorrect bookings? A reaction from management at this point would be desirable.

Curling was fun. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant! The food was prepared with great attention to detail. Unfortunately the burger patties were very dry and hard. This was also communicated to the service staff. It was recorded, nothing more.

We were able to end our class reunion celebrating 50 years of entry into the EOS in the Guten Stube with a good wine and an à la card dinner. We were welcomed with a very nicely decorated table and we were served very attentively and quickly. It was an overall pleasant evening. Many many thanks.

Four of us had dinner in the ElbeGarten. The ambience is very tasteful. Basically, this also deserves 5 stars. What we were missing for a while, however, was quiet background music. Some could be heard later in the evening. We thought that was very nice. The four of us each chose a different main course and absolutely loved it. We would love to come back because I haven't had such good food in a long time. 7 out of 5 stars for this!

Very good and tasty food (Saturday brunch). Lots of choice, both hot and cold dishes. A little later there was also dessert. A bit expensive (€38.90 per person), but it was very worth it. I was full the rest of the day.

Very nice restaurant right on the Blauer Wunder. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious and plentiful. Parking spaces are also available free of charge. Definitely coming back. An absolute highlight of gastronomy and location, directly on the Elbe with a wonderful view of the shipping steamers and the beautiful Blue Wonder. Perfect.

We took advantage of an inexpensive summer lunch offer through Groupon to stop off at the Elbgarten, we felt comfortable and the tarte flambée also tasted good. However, we weren't quite as convinced by the homemade lemonade and, strangely enough, we both had a one-time "run to the toilet" shortly after our visit there 🚻🤷🏻‍♀️

Friendly waitress, tasty food, fast service

Reservation worked at short notice, we were guests for the second time, family celebration (70th birthday) and for Sunday brunch for four. Very pleasant atmosphere, committed, friendly and attentive staff. All in all, two lovely visits for us, which were not the last.

Very tasty food (large portions), really nice atmosphere. Rarely have we seen such a beautiful toilet 😉 We parked right next to the restaurant (free of charge), which should perhaps be signposted. We will certainly come back! Thank you

We had the Groupon voucher for pasta or tarte flambée of your choice with house lemonade (mango-strawberry) or beer. The lemonade contained almost only currants, a piece of strawberry and no mango pieces. But it was very refreshing. Tarte flambée, even with Atlantic fish, tasted good and was filling, but the dough was very thin. Since there was only pasta with peas and basil pesto (depending on the weekly offer), I was also allowed to choose other things, such as a salad or heaven and earth. The latter with black pudding was good home cooking. Only the onion rings were tossed too briefly in the fat. Recommended in everything, including the view of the Elbe. The toilet was impressively designed, with birds chirping..

We were very happy with our dinner. The waiter was attentive and quick in his actions, and the children had a children's menu with colored pencils to pass the time. The drinks came very quickly, as did the 6 dishes we ordered. All plates were attractively served, whether fish or meat, it was delicious. Even after the main course, the service didn't stop, as is unfortunately often the case these days. Another positive thing is that the toilet area is clean and equally attractive, which often says a lot about a restaurant in general. Conclusion: we can highly recommend the visit, the location invites you to fortify yourself here after a visit to the Blue Wonder and its surroundings or to end the evening. We'll be back.
