I have been a returning guest here for three years now. The food is consistently, reliably and very good. Light and beautifully put together bowls, lovingly prepared sushi dishes and much more can be discovered here. The service is always friendly and attentive.

The food was again very tasty, fresh and beautifully prepared. I pre-ordered for the first time today and it arrived really on time.

Not bad, but below expectations! This small and charming sushi restaurant in Heidelberg is ideal for a quick lunch or when you're short on time. The menu is adequate, but unfortunately, an "all you can eat" option should be introduced here-this is a real drawback for a place like this. Frankly, we've visited, experienced, and tasted many larger, more popular sushi restaurants with broader menus. Regrettably, this place did not satisfy us in terms of both value for money and flavor. The prices seemed a bit high compared to other sushi spots in Heidelberg, yet it lacked that "wow" factor in taste. Yes, the presentations were beautiful and the sushi was meticulously prepared, but something was missing in the flavor-as if the essential "love" in the dish was absent. They seem to focus more on home delivery, although there is a small area where you can sit down and enjoy your meal. If you're looking for a quick sushi break, it's not a bad option, but it's best not to come with high expectations. In a beautiful city like Heidelberg, there are certainly more satisfying choices available!

The service couldn’t have been worse.

We enjoyed ordering from Yami Sushi, even though the delivery times were getting longer and sometimes it took up to 2 hours for our sushi to arrive. After we ordered sashimi a few months ago and it smelled terrible, we complained. Unfortunately, there was never a solution because emails remained unanswered and no exchange was possible on the phone due to the language barrier. Today we wanted to give the restaurant another chance - unfortunately the bad experience repeated itself! The sashimi we ordered clearly smelled disgustingly old and was bad, so we threw it away completely. €22.80 that ends up in the trash, knowing that this time too no clarification will be possible with the restaurant. We won't be ordering anything from Yami Sushi again because raw fish, especially if it's not processed fresh, can have serious health consequences!

Consistently high quality, always tastes good!

The food is ok, you can enjoy it. I didn't like the service or the behavior of the employees. You are busy with your online orders... No parking spaces in front of the restaurant. But you can park next door (there is a large parking lot next door where you can park for free for 90 minutes).

We have always ordered and were very satisfied with the selection, quality and taste. I would definitely recommend Yami Sushi and it certainly won't be the last time we order there.

A very friendly place with nice people that serves sushi super tasty and inviting. I can only recommend it!

I have been a customer of Yami Sushi for a long time. Unfortunately, their quality has deteriorated over time. Plus, when you're there, you can hear the chef snotting and spitting somewhere all the time. Personally, I find this quite unhygienic and also spoils my appetite. 1-2 years ago I would have left a 5 star review but unfortunately I can only leave a 1 star review.

The sushi was excellent and the price-performance ratio was great. We would love to come back and can only recommend the restaurant.

The sushi itself is really great. However, orders are often forgotten. I personally ordered sushi there worth €120. When I got there they said that they had simply forgotten the order and that it would take half an hour.

Very fresh sushi, best served early at lunchtime when there is little going on. The salmon was creamy, tender and really fresh. Unfortunately it seems a bit unkempt. The counter is stuck, as is the railing to the toilets in the basement. The staircase was dirty. Something could still be improved here.

The Yami Sushi restaurant was a real treat! We ordered 2 sets and sushi were all delicious. The atmosphere was okay and the staff was very attentive. Unfortunately you can only pay in cash or via PayPal. Otherwise the selection of sushi is okay and the quality of the food is good. Every bite was fresh and delicious. We were there on Saturday at 5 p.m. and there wasn't much going on. Hardly had any waiting times. The food came very quickly. The ingredients seemed to be of good quality. Overall, the food was very tasty and satisfying. Prices are okay. There is no problem with parking. I will definitely come back to enjoy more of this great taste experience.

Yesterday we visited the restaurant with our baby and were thrilled by the child-friendly atmosphere. The service was incredibly warm and accommodating. We became aware of the restaurant through an entry in the Schlemmerblock and can now confirm that the service is first class. An all around great experience!

At some point we discovered it while looking for a sushi delivery service and since then it has been our first stop when we have an appetite for sushi 🍣 at home. The food is always fresh and very tasty. We only order directly via the website, delivery is always prompt, according to the confirmed delivery time window. Today a Thomas brought us our order. Super personable, cheerful and friendly. Thanks to the entire Yami Sushi Team HD 🙏.

Food good, but wrong food delivered, a bit of a shame...

The salmon bowl - lachs - is atrocious. Drenched in some very inappropriate sweet sour sauce, that permeates the rice and the rather limited selection of vegetables.

I liked sushi and the selection is rich enough and the price is normal. The Japanese plum wine tastes suspiciously like white mulled wine to me. The waiting times were too long. We didn't receive our desserts at all in the end. Deliveries probably have priority here. The sushi was delicious, but the wasabi paste was very little. We also made the mistake of sitting at the back next to the open kitchen door and our clothes got stinky. We weren't warned either. We certainly didn't leave satisfied.

Here you can easily eat very good sushi or have it delivered. Nothing to complain about!

We order at Yami Sushi since 2+ years, lately every other week or so. Never been disappointed, the bowls are great with tasty quality ingredients and well balanced. Hope it stays like this. Thanks!

Too long waiting times! Had to wait 30 minutes for our food. Leftover food and dishes at the next table were not cleared away for at least an hour. Wrong food was brought even though there were only two tables. Insects were flying around. A chef prepared food and typed on his smartphone at the same time.(unhygienic!) Food was ok.

Ein sehr tolles Restaurant, war dort mit einer Freundin und wir haben zusammen sehr toll dort gegessen. Das Sushi ist spitze und frisch und die Preise sind komplett in Ordnung. Volle Empfehlung dort hin zugehen :)

Das Sushi (Gericht 501) ist sehr lecker!! Wir bestellen zu dem Sushi auch oft eine Curry Suppe (803) und ich muss echt sagen, dass das ist die beste japanische Curry-Suppe die ich je gegessen habe. Mega Lecker

Man muss sagen recht gute und günstige Preise. Allerdings zeigt sich, dass ein großer Teil der Sushi-Karte aus verarbeiteten Fisch und Meeresfrüchten (frittierte Garnelen, flambierter Lachs, Surimi, usw.) und sehr wenigem frischen Fisch besteht. Oftmals ist das eine versteckte Möglichkeit Kosten zu sparen. Geschmacklich war es dabei okay, aber nichts besonderes. Wir haben zum Liefern bestellt, allerdings mussten wir sehr sehr lange auf die Bestellung warten. Wir haben dabei circa 2 Stunden gewartet, obwohl nur eine Stunde Wartezeit angegeben war.

Sushi war gut und der Preis ist in Ordnung! Der Service ist sehr freundlich! Gemütlich kann man dann eher zu Hause sitzen.

Haben hier zum zweiten Mal bestellt und sind super zufrieden. Sushi und Bowl mega lecker!

Sehr leckeres Essen, das beste Sushi, das ich bisher in Dtld. gegessen habe. Auch die Mochis sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Stern Abzug beim Service, weil bei uns ein Teil der Bestellung vergessen wurde, war aber nicht weiter tragisch, da die übrigen Portionen sehr satt gemacht haben.

I love the quality. I think it is slightly expensive but you will have no complaints on the quality... Really yummy and fulfilling.

Preis/Leistung stimmt. Schönes Sushi, gute Auswahl und schnelle Lieferung. Nur 4 Sterne, weil die qualitat(Geschmack) vom Reis nicht constant ist und manchmal etwas unterwürzt ist. Aber im Schnitt sehr gut 😉

Sehr lecker. Servicekonzept ist etwas anderes als man es kennt, aber dadurch nicht schlechter. Man schreibt seine Bestellung auf dem Block und gibt es am Tresen ab. Das Essen wird gebracht. Ambiente ist eher schlicht, da es sehr klein von der Räumlichkeit ist. Es ist eher für Lieferservice ausgelegt. Das Essen wird frisch Zubereitet und daher sehr sehr lecker vom Geschmack.

Delicious Temaki’s, great taste, well stuffed (not just at the top!). Really enjoyed the sushi as well, tasty, great proportions. The right proportion of sauce topping (definitely not drowning in sauce!). Quick delivery even on a Saturday evening. Definitely ordering again!

Bestes Sushi in Heidelberg. Es gibt eine große Auswahl verschiedener Gerichte. Nicht nur das super leckere Sushi ist empfehlenswert - auch mal Yakitori probieren! Die Zubereitung der Bestellung geht - gerade bei Abholung im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants/Lieferservice ziemlich schnell. Aus diesem Grund wähle ich meist die Abholung. Aber auch Liefern klappt problemlos.

Ich liebe es! Ich bestelle mein Sushi nur dort. Sehr frisch und es kommt sogar noch warm an. Sehr freundliches Personal und der Preis stimmt auch.
