Yakumi Sushi - Japanisches Restaurant in Bremen

I was there for the first time. The food was great, although the sushi rice wasn't to my taste. But that probably has something to do with me. Everything else is top quality and really, really tasty. From the way it tasted and looked, everything was freshly prepared. The food wasn't fridge cold but was at a pleasant room temperature and therefore had a lot of taste! The service is great! I'll definitely take another 80 km drive there.

You can spend a lovely evening here. With friends or with your loved one. You usually get a time window of 2 hours and can place an order via the tablet every 10 minutes. The order can contain 5 pieces each. Drinks can also be ordered via the tablet at any time. The service is constantly clearing the empty plates and bringing the ordered things to the tables. So you have a relaxed evening with nice conversations and food, what more could you want. And from experience I can say that we have never failed to get there with the times. Great concept and the dishes are really tasty, as it's not just sushi and you can also try something different.

Yakumi is really worth a visit! The ordering system runs on a tablet which is really cool. The selection of sushi is varied and everyone else who doesn't like sushi will also like it! The employees are all friendly and accommodating. Ambiance and furnishings are modern. We would love to come back 👍👍

Here for the first time, through a recommendation. Very interesting and well organized. 👍 Food super tasty. Only: I personally found the dog tolerated at the table and fed with a spoon terrible and also spoke to the people and was insulted. I then notified the staff, they were very horrified. I hope something like this doesn't happen again.

We've been going to Yakumi off and on since it existed. Most importantly: only with reservation. The store is always completely full and therefore a little louder. The food is okay but unfortunately I have to say both the selection and quality have recently decreased Some vegetable variants are no longer available, and my sushi on Friday was rather bland. Unfortunately, the duck was also just bone-hard and had 50% fried breading and the edamame that a friend had was downright “slimy”. The racks of lamb, squid rings, and some of the inside-out maki variations were good. Lastly, the tablet ordering system is apparently still the original since it opened and you can see that on the devices. Both tablets at our table had massively cracked screens. This should urgently be renewed.

Reservation absolutely recommended. The store is always busy. It was an interesting experience and the quality of the food is great. With all you can eat you just have to remember who ordered what and when. Everything is just placed on the table in a mess. We were still very satisfied. However, you can't eat that much to make the price worth it. So, good for heavy eaters, but not worth the price-performance ratio for normal eaters. But still tasty, good quality and fun experience. You can do it for your birthday. I would rather go out for a normal meal somewhere else.

Three of us visited Yakumi for my birthday and made a reservation. First of all: Without a reservation, you don't have to hope to be able to eat here spontaneously. The store is always packed. Due to this lack of knowledge, we had to wait 15 minutes until the receptionist could end her discussion with a bachelor party, despite having a reservation. Ambience? It is a restaurant that is so crowded and overloaded that any ambience is lost. The tables are relatively narrow and it is extremely loud. If you're looking for a nice Japanese restaurant for a date or serious conversation, you're definitely out of place here. It's just too loud for that. The service makes an effort, but has to serve in piecemeal fashion. The system for All you can eat (€36 per person) is simple: up to 5 dishes are selected per guest on a tablet, which are served on one plate in a completely random order and often by several table guests. Not dramatic if you sit next to each other, it's more difficult on the diagonal and three people have ordered the same thing. First come, first served? Also, sometimes dishes from a previous order arrive so late that you are already two orders later. Or they don't come at all (happened with 3 positions). Nevertheless, the food is absolutely worth every penny, it tastes really good and everything is of good quality. Everyone will find something here, whether they are a sushi lover or a fan of fried foods. That's probably the main reason why it's always so full here - but the service and ambience are certainly not. I'll still come back here. Next time with earplugs for concerts.

The best sushi all you can eat in Bremen, we have always enjoyed being guests here since the beginning. However, not so cheap anymore.

It is very loud in the restaurant. In addition, we sometimes waited 45 minutes for our sushi, which is rather bad for an all you can eat system, as hunger disappears in time. The food tasted good, but unfortunately I still spent the night on the toilet.

Have already been here twice. The food is good and there is a large selection. Personally, we think there is still room for improvement when it comes to the ambience. The restaurant is always very full and the tables are placed close together making it loud and uncomfortable. The service works... this is due to the ordering system, whereby the selected dishes are brought to the table at regular intervals. The bottom line is that the price is a little too high for what is on offer, but this is just our personal opinion, as with the crowds there will definitely be a lot of people celebrating the restaurant for what it has to offer.

Everything was great, everything was delicious. There were 7 girls and 5 courses were more than enough for us. I just found the drinks too expensive, I thought €7 for a 0.75L bottle of water was awesome. Otherwise very tasty

I also really enjoyed eating tuna sashimi there, but somehow it has tasted completely different over the last few months, so I think that's a shame, so it doesn't give it a full 5 stars. Whenever I have guests or someone asks for a recommendation, I always recommend this restaurant. Even if you're not a sushi fan... they have enough choice AND everything tastes delicious. There's nothing wrong with it. A little more expensive but all you can eat. It's always worth it.

I was there today with a friend and our toddler. The staff was super nice and child-friendly. There were clean children's chairs and we even got special children's crockery and cutlery - we thought that was great! The food was simply incredibly tasty and fresh. We really enjoyed it. It was very tasty, service was good except that we waited 15 minutes until we got to our reserved place. Ordering via tablet works great and the food comes quite quickly. But really very expensive, €35.90 all you can eat. Even for a fairly good quality, we found it a bit steep. Ambience, well, it doesn't look that great there but it's not that important, the main thing is that it tastes good.

I'm super happy, the food arrived super quickly, very tasty and super friendly service. I was able to breastfeed my baby and everyone was very kind and understanding towards us even though she was in a bad mood at times. The duck was super crispy and everything was well seasoned and lovingly prepared. And I think there really is something for everyone here. Thank you for this great visit

We took advantage of the all you can eat offer and it is really highly recommended. After a short briefing and a note that if you ordered too much food and didn't eat it, you would be charged extra, and we started. With the tablet at the table you can calmly see what you want to drink or eat. The drinks always came to the table very quickly, as did the food. It is advisable to reserve a table here in advance, it was really very full. The food, if it was warm, was still really hot when it came to the table. The sushi was always beautifully presented on a small platter/plate. We really enjoyed everything we ordered. As soon as a plate or plate was empty, it was cleared away so that there was enough space for something new on the table. Despite the long journey of over an hour, it was very worth it and I will definitely go here again to eat.

Food was super tasty. Five of us at a table of four didn't really appeal to us because the fifth man was sitting right in the hallway leading to the entrance/exit. Unfortunately, it was very drafty there, so the smoke from the smokers outside was also wafting in. We were told that you have to register for six people when making your reservation so that five of you can sit at a suitable table. Unfortunately they didn't want to/couldn't move us that evening. The food was delicious as always.

Food tastes great. Simply choose as a buffet and then select the dish from the tray. Food is delivered to the table quickly. So everything runs smoothly. Short-term reservations are also possible if there are spaces available, otherwise reserve 2 days in advance. Service is great. If the food is not eaten, a penalty fee will be charged per plate. I think that's very good. I can only recommend it and give it 5 stars.

Great place, good food, I recommend it

I've been a regular customer here for years. It's best to reserve in advance because they are very busy. You can easily order the all you can eat via a tablet, which is super practical. The food has never disappointed me. The salmon always so tender and delicious. But they also offer a lot of other things here, e.g. cheese balls, rice, beef stuffed with cheese &&&. The staff is always very quick and patient. They really always pay attention to cleanliness. Yakumi is one of my favorites.

A reservation is mandatory! You get a time window of 2 hours which is completely sufficient. Very friendly staff and they are very child friendly. With the tablet you can set your own pace of food delivery. Huge selection and top quality! Vegetarians and people who don't actually like sushi are also offered a large selection. We come by regularly and always bring a few people with us who are just as excited as we are 💖

The food there is very, very tasty. Unfortunately the waiters were sometimes overwhelmed. The restaurant is not necessarily suitable for a quiet romantic evening as it is very loud. Usually very crowded.

Very very tasty! I'd love to come back

The food was delicious as always. Sushi, meat, fried rice, dessert... everything was great. We also tried the bamboo schnapps and the rose schnapps. It definitely helps with digestion. :) There is no criticism today. We also had a table reserved for around 8 p.m. Went there at 7:30 p.m. and still sat at a table relatively quickly. Thanks for that too. We'd love to come back.

Outstanding. Very innovative idea: all-you-can-eat meal selection from the table via tablet. The food, which was of very high quality, arrived within a few minutes. The choice of food was amazing and so varied that unfortunately you couldn't try everything. Clear recommendation!

All-you-can-eat for EUR 34.90. In terms of price it's quite expensive but everything is very tasty. Only 4 stars because of the price and the reason that we think the all-you-can-eat at “IchiBan” is even better. Nevertheless, we would like to eat here again if we are in Bremen.

Sensational... We ordered a table for 2 by phone and it was a perfect landing. Reserved at 7:15 p.m. and sat at the table at 7:15 p.m. The welcome was very friendly. Order was taken from the table using a tablet. The service was great and none of the staff seemed rushed or unfriendly. On the contrary, the service was always in focus and was very satisfactory. Drinks were well chilled and everything we had from the "all you can eat" buffet was sensationally freshly prepared. I was and am very enthusiastic... would this restaurant be recommended?! DEFINITELY... visiting Bremen...?! Then call and go... The ambience only got 2 stars because I really like a clear separation between the tables. The background noise is slightly increased but I think you can live with it... I love it.... !!!!

We've been there twice now. The modern ordering principle for the food was a bit of a challenge the first time, as the menu navigation on the tablet is not completely intuitive. However, this was no longer a problem on the second visit. I find the all you eat principle much more pleasant compared to other restaurants and it doesn't have that junky atmosphere, but everything is really high quality. The timing of orders (every 15 minutes) is also well chosen. The price of around €33-34 is completely fine. Drinks are charged extra. The atmosphere is modern and stylish. There is only one star deducted here because it is usually very full, which basically speaks for the place. However, it is a little louder, so you would otherwise speak louder. The service is quick and the empty dishes are cleared away very quickly, so that you only have the plates on the table that are used for eating. In my opinion, the service is a bit taciturn towards the guests. But this is subjective. There was an anecdote from the last visit that apparently the baked bananas ordered from every table only arrived at the table many rounds of ordering later. I have no idea whether they had to be purchased first, a certain number of orders were waiting for them. In any case, at some point trays of baked bananas were brought to the tables. Luckily it was in time for us. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

We have been to Yakumi several times and we always really like it! The concept of ordering via tablet is brilliant, so everything is always freshly prepared and less food is wasted. The fact that it is always full and you can only get a table if you have reserved, especially on weekends, speaks for itself.

Very tasty food, which I can only recommend. However, you can cut the air in the restaurant. It is initially uncomfortable when you enter the premises. Of course you won't be able to rock it later. What really bothered us, however, was the disgusting and pungent smell of sweat from several waiters. You really lose your appetite. This was not the case on the first visit. I also can't understand why the superiors don't smell this and do something about it.

This was our second time there and we think it's great. The food tastes really delicious and ordering via the iPad is great. Unfortunately this time the service was somehow overwhelmed and some things didn't arrive until the next round, but it was still tasty. You should definitely reserve in advance. What's not so nice are the tables near the door. When it's a little colder outside it's very drafty. A curtain or something similar would perhaps help. We'd love to come back

I was negatively surprised when I entered the restaurant because it looked more like a canteen. The tables are very close together and there is hardly any privacy. The tablet was always on the verge of slipping, the table for two was too small. Ordering was very easy, sometimes only two sushis come to the table, sometimes the entire round. This needs to be fine-tuned; you have no idea which round the food is from. The food generally tastes quite good, I can't complain, but I think the price of €35.90 is a bit high. In my opinion, €25 would be more appropriate. I would like to go there again, but the parking situation in the city center is really annoying.

10/10 absolutely one of the best sushi restaurants I've ever been to. The all-you-can-eat menu is absolutely worth it, you can order 25 dishes per person and the ordering process is very simple and is done using a tablet. The service is pretty quick and I would definitely recommend making a reservation as the restaurant is pretty busy. In addition to sushi, the all-you-can-eat menu also has all sorts of meat and vegetable dishes, soups, desserts, etc. Would definitely go again soon!

Very, very tasty freshly prepared sushi and other delicacies. We had chosen "all you can enjoy", the ordering process via the tablet is self-explanatory and the food is delivered to the table quickly, although with several people you lose track of who ordered what and also things from the first order in the third round could be delivered. But we didn't see that as a negative thing. The restaurant has a canteen atmosphere, it is loud, narrow and very crowded! Nevertheless, we liked it and if you want to eat good sushi and don't value a comfortable environment, this is the right place for you.
