HANOI deli in Bremen

I have never found out how well the food is cooked here and I probably never will - I have never encountered such unfriendly and rough treatment right from the start. Such absurd situations have never happened to me. I came to eat right after it opened at 12 noon. The restaurant was completely empty, just me and the staff. There were either small tables for two people or larger tables for four. When I sat down at a large table, the waitress immediately came and insisted that I move to a small table. When I asked if the large tables were reserved, she replied: "No, but a small table is enough for you alone." I explained that there was little space at a small table and that if the large tables were free, I would prefer to be more comfortable would sit. Her answer: “No, you are alone and can only sit at a small table”. Then goodbye. Why people behave so strangely is a mystery to me. I'm never coming here again. Customer orientation, friendliness, hospitality and service – zero.

Our order came relatively quickly, but the food was at best O.K. compared to other Asian restaurants. We all found the service to be unfriendly and ignorant. It was very crowded, there wasn't much space to move around. Maybe we’ll try it again.🙃

I was very disappointed with my last visit to the restaurant. The food wasn't as good as it used to be. The beef was way too tough and thick, and the fried noodles were undercooked and way too sweet. The service wasn't friendly either. What struck me particularly negatively was the young woman with glasses who barely moved to take orders and answered very uninterestedly

Very tasty Asian food. The sushi is also highly recommended. If you order a "sushi set" there is a small special effect. You get a small “volcano” with it. The staff is really very attentive and friendly!

There is a wide selection of sushi that never disappoints and is always of a high standard. My recommendation is the crispy rolls. Vegetarian and vegan are possible, even with dishes other than sushi.

Niet gastvrij. Het eten was prima en werd snel geserveerd, de bediening was wisselend in aandacht maar meestal vriendelijk, maar het was erg vervelend te zien hoe mensen die alleen kwamen weggestuurd werden omdat aan een tweepersoonstafeltje met twee personen meer te verdienen valt.

We went because of the good reviews we were getting from this restaurant. The furnishing inside is puristic with the light modern Asian style. You got different menus on the table some with pictures some without The service was OK not very friendly. The food we ordered was average so so some dishes were good some were just average. Too sad that to deliver dishes took so long that they were not really hot anymore because we were sitting upstairs. Credit card welcome, no WIFI offered no parking Price performance value average

Very tasty food and top service

Great restaurant, delicious food. Can't say anything else. Unfortunately, our birthday dinner was very negatively affected by the coldness of the restaurant. Back then, sitting upstairs wasn't allowed in the summer, which is why we had to sit downstairs in the narrow entrance area for the first time. The door keeps opening, which is why the cold from outside always comes in. When I asked if the heating could be turned on, I was told that the employees didn't know where to turn it on. So we sat downstairs in the narrow entrance area with our jackets on. When a few more guests arrived, we were suddenly able to sit upstairs, which is why we simply moved around. The restaurant upstairs is very nicely decorated, the ambience here is 100% right. Conclusion: You can get very tasty food in this restaurant. If you are allowed to sit upstairs, then you will certainly be very satisfied with this restaurant and everything around it. However, on cold days you should dress thickly if you are only allowed to sit downstairs in the entrance area.

It's good to have something Asian.

Mega tasty, very authentic food in a beautiful ambience. Very good portions at pleasant prices. A bit noisy in the upper area and the waiting times are a little long, but definitely worth it.

Have over 1 1/2! We waited hours for our food then only one person's food came without cutlery while others who came later were already paying and we were still waiting. Despite probably good food, never again!

I was so pleasantly surprised. Everything excellent, great service, fair prices. I felt transported back to Vietnam.

It's not bad I guess. The food was a little too oily for my taste. It's right outside of the train station so that's convenient, if you are just passing by and want to eat something in between the trains.

Mixed impression. Pho was ok, beef was unfortunately quite tough - I've had much better pho. Sushi average, nori sheets also quite tough. Warm food was also ok, nothing special. The spring rolls were really good.

Very tasty and totally friendly staff

Everything is really right here. There are actually Vietnamese dishes and they taste different from the standardized Asian dishes you know from urban areas or shopping centers. The price is completely reasonable. A special feature that I really liked is that to pay you can simply get up and walk to the checkout instead of waiting for the waiter.

Delicious sushi, nice staff, nice atmosphere

Very authentic Vietnamese place. We took a hot roll with salmon and vatan soup. The food is very tasty and prepared quite quickly. The service is good, the waiters are very polite and speak English. The atmosphere in the establishment is as Vietnamese as possible, from the interesting and unusual dishes to the interior design. It was a little stuffy, but it didn't cause any major inconvenience. The pricing policy is excellent, for soup, roll and lemonade 26 euros, considering that this is the city center - very, very normal. I recommend it👍🏻

Located near the train station, HANOI is a nice Asian restaurant with quick, friendly service. Given the high outside temperatures, the summer rolls were refreshing, crunchy and delicious, as were the dumplings. Little things for a light dinner.

Very tasty! I took a warm roll with salmon, it was incredible! There is a lot of fish, the batter is not hard or greasy, the rice is cooked correctly. And red dragon lemonade is also excellent, sweet!

this kind of food is tasty for everyone

Great location and surprisingly really good food. Big portions, big variety of dishes and fair prices. We loved it so much, came here twice, while on a trip to Bremen. My personal highlights were "tofu in town", fried banana and honey, peanut sauce and mango coconut sauce, and definitely a red dragon non alco coctails. Others highlighted shrimps, which were cooked very well. Not all staff members spoke English, but English menu was enough to understand what to order. Definitely will come back, when I'm in Bremen next time. Thank you!

Unfortunately the food wasn't good. It neither tasted good nor looked appetizing. The service was also disappointing. The service with the glasses was particularly unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall I had a very negative experience and cannot recommend the restaurant.

I recently visited Hanoideli and unfortunately I was very disappointed. The food was not what I expected and there were some hygiene concerns that I couldn't ignore. At first the taste of the food was disappointing. The dishes were poorly seasoned and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. I was under the impression that the food may not have been prepared properly. Even more concerning was the general state of cleanliness in the restaurant. The tables were not cleaned properly and I could see dirt in various areas of the restaurant. This severely affected my confidence in the hygiene of the entire company. The service was also disappointing. Even though the restaurant wasn't very busy, we had to wait a long time for our order. The staff seemed inattentive and uncommitted to providing guests with a pleasant experience. In addition, the behavior of the staff, especially a woman who wore glasses, was very unfriendly. She was unhelpful and responded to questions or requests in an annoyed manner. Such behavior does not contribute to a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, my visit was unfortunately very disappointing. I hope that in the future the restaurant will work on the quality of food and cleanliness to improve the customer experience. Unfortunately, under these circumstances I cannot recommend the restaurant

Wow, I'm speechless. I have rarely experienced such a disrespectful and unsympathetic workforce. Unfriendliness is very important here. After I wanted to eat here with friends, we were insulted right at the beginning and had to be sent out because we were not recognized as customers because we had used the toilet. Ordering took forever and the food was absolutely not tasty. Cold noodles were served and the vegetables were anything but fresh. Never again. I advise against coming here, there are 100x better shops in comparison. Awkward

We tried sushi and a few hot appetizers. The sushi was fresh and the sauce was also very tasty. I can recommend the V1 and V7 as starters to everyone. The staff was very overwhelmed in my opinion. There was only 1 woman who served all the tables. The service was still friendly. More staff wouldn't be a bad idea! The ambience was fine. All in all a good restaurant that you can find at the train station.

We enjoyed the food very much, but the table for two was a bit tight for us. The upper floor was far too loud, we prefer to sit on the ground floor. Service was courteous and nice.

The food is really good, no matter what you order. The chefs definitely know their craft. I can't really recommend the restaurant on the upper floor because it is incredibly loud when there are a lot of guests there. It's just and it's a really loud background noise. However, if you want to have a good meal, you should definitely stop by there. Clear recommendation.

Nestled conveniently near the train station, this pretty little Vietnamese restaurant transports you straight to Vietnam as soon as you step inside. The interior boasts beautiful wood designs and charming lanterns hanging from the ceiling, creating an inviting and authentic atmosphere. (The only thing out of place was the techno like music.) The menu is extensive, offering a delightful range of traditional Vietnamese dishes from fresh summer rolls to Pho and Bun Cha. They also feature sushi and other Asian specialties such as chicken skewers with peanut sauce and Chinese dim sum. While the Har Gau (shrimp dumplings) were only average, with a dumpling skin that was a bit too thick, the bowls with warm rice noodles were delicious and fresh. The lime dressing balanced tangy, salty, and sweet flavors perfectly, and the proteins were cooked to perfection (tender chicken and prawns). Portion sizes were just right, leaving us satisfied but not overly full. The strong Vietnamese coffee provided the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Service was friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Definitely worth a visit for a little taste of Vietnam!

Unfortunately quite disappointing. I had a pasta dish with chicken and the meat was still pink inside, that's not possible and I couldn't enjoy the food! The service has also deteriorated significantly and I think it's a shame that you can only eat downstairs during the day (in the not so nice atmosphere). All in all, not worth recommending.

I also ate here on July 13, 2024 and was totally thrilled at first. The food was well presented and tasted good. For me there was the Salmon Crunchy and a Pho with chicken. My husband and I ate the same thing and 6 hours later we were in bed/bathroom with terrible stomach cramps and vomiting. Since we didn't eat anything else after or before the shopping trip, it could only have been the sushi. Especially since I saw that Gülizar Capli had similar experiences two weeks ago. We have already informed the food control department, which has reported back that an inspection will be carried out. Unfortunately, there was no response to our message to the restaurant.

Price performance fits, really tasty sushi

Generous servings of authentic Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Unfortunately they have a policy of refusing credit cards for bills under €25. I was sent away to get cash because I didn’t want to order more than just one plate—which was plenty of food for me.

We went there spontaneously, it was super tasty and beautifully presented. We will be back:)

I had a very disappointing experience with this restaurant. The salmon in the sushi was of poor quality and tasted spoiled. When I contacted the restaurant by phone, all I was told was "sorry" and then hung up on. No alternative was offered or attempted to resolve the issue. Since then I haven't been able to reach anyone. Very poor customer service and unwillingness to fix the problem. I definitely won't order here again.

Worst Vietnamese food I’ve ever had in Germany. Dumplings could not even stay on the chopstick because it’s been sitting in the steamer all day. Pho’s broth was stale. Save yourself € and go elsewhere!

No service at all. The place was smelly! The food served next to us looked great but we waited about 15min for no service, no one walked up to us to provide the menu. We left as it didn't feel welcoming. Disappointed

Group of 8 international people. Food was ok. "Flying noodles" were not flying. Nice dry ice deco. Slightly pricy. But the service was bad. Table service did the job, but reacted many ways neutral to slightly snobby. Cashier was centrally downstairs for everybody, so long waiting line. She made a crucial mistake on our bill - wrong full dish from another party. Did not change it, but we had to exchange money between us. After asking, if cashier was the boss, she said yes. I commenting that she did not apologise at all, she finally did with 1 word. Immediately said to go away, due to the long queue (that she extended by her mistake!). Never again.

Heerlijk gegeten voor een leuke prijs. Vriendelijk personeel. Leuke gerechten. Vietnamees eten (beetje aangepast aan de Duitse smaak) en ook sushi. Wij hebben genoten en zijn zelfs een tweede keer teruggegaan.

The food is OK. It used to be better. The service bad. The staff overwhelmed, unfriendly and impolite. But it's not bad, there are alternatives nearby.

The store was full. The staff literally pushed to get the space free again. The friendliness towards customers is not as it should be. But the food was very good.

Delicious! Incredible presentation of the food. I was lucky enough to be here three times. We sat downstairs twice and upstairs once. I liked the upper floor much better. Quiet and cozy atmosphere, delicious and fresh food. I recommend it to those who love delicious sushi!

I've had dinner in Hanoi twice, both times the food was pretty good. The chicken and vegetables were crispy and fresh, the rice as it should be. I think the portions are good, but there could be more rice. I was also happy with the curry sauce, just found it a bit very mild and it would have been cool if it came in an additional bowl with this soup consistency. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied because I enjoyed it and was full. The young staff are very nice and the older staff are very polite and almost timid. I understand that the job can often be stressful and I hope that customers become less threatening and you don't have to be so stressed. I have personally had bad experiences with Vietnamese people. But you're totally fine. Thank you and I would like to come more often because the food is good. I just find the prices generally really expensive, which is the only thing that keeps me from coming often, but I can understand that because of inflation and stuff. Therefore a point deducted but overall a reliable restaurant.

I always enjoy being in Hanoi! I can highly recommend the sushi, the quality is simply great. At peak times it quickly becomes very noisy when the restaurant is full. I would really like a delivery service to 28279/28277. I was guaranteed to order weekly! A good delivery service for me is still missing.

Some customers have to pay for the food before you get it. Other customers can pay for the meal later. Disgusting behavior.

The restaurant was full but we got a table straight away. Tables and chairs are quite small, but still okay. The food came quickly and was really tasty. Paying at the checkout was a bit unusual for me.

I happened to eat here with my girlfriend once and we were so impressed. It is now our trusted Asian restaurant. If you like sushi or Asian cuisine or want to try it out, you should go to Ha Noi in Bremen. It is right near the main train station and really perfect for travelers for a stopover. Price-wise, you can't beat it for this wonderful and delicious food. !!!

On Saturday I went there with my date, they sat us downstairs because it was too full upstairs, then we ordered. During that time, so much went out from above, but we were still not allowed to go up. A moment later a German couple comes and they are led upstairs. It was almost empty downstairs. When the boss noticed that it was bothering me, he came and tried to talk his way out of it. In this case I would get up and just leave, but I was with my date and tried not to let it show that I was upset. I haven't experienced something so unfriendly, lying, such bottomless impudence in a long time. I was relatively disappointed because I often eat there, but from now on, never again. Nosou, has gained a new regular customer.

The price is expensive, the taste is average, and the price/performance ratio is not high. The most outstanding feature is that the store has a good atmosphere and the dishes are beautifully presented.

Food great, service great too. Except one person. Rarely experienced a person like this, rude and guest unfriendly. She didn't want to give us a table upstairs because it was by the window and sunny because it was supposed to be reserved. The whole area upstairs is empty and there are enough tables for guests. But we had to wait 10 minutes for a table to become available. It was only when a new guest came in that we were shown the upper area. We chose a table with sunbeams, the middle-aged woman said it was for 4 people and we should sit at a table for 2 people. However, there is only one table for two people upstairs and the new guest sat down there. Then she said it's reserved. So just this one table upstairs is reserved. The new guest who came in said "this woman is weird, she's always like that." So we're not the only ones who find this behavior strange. The middle-aged lady, hope not that she is the boss, is a. Absolutely no go!

Vietnamese food has nothing to do with it, I've been there for more than a month traveling, it has nothing to do with it, it's commercial fast food. The worst thing about the restaurant is the attention of the girl with glasses who charges, how dare she yell at a person over 76 years old, I don't allow that to anyone, I have come to think that they have treated us like this because we are Spanish, They are not prepared for tourism. I spoke to them in perfect English and they answered me in German. I don't know how to recommend it to anyone.

Schönes Restaurant in Bahnhofsnähe. Essen war ok. Als deutsch-vietnamesische Familie sagen wir aber, daß für den Preis der Fleischanteil und die Portion insgesamt zu klein sind. Nette Bedienung. Insgesamt nicht schlecht aber auch kein Mega-Erlebnis.

Bestes vietnamesisches Restaurant in der Stadt! Einfach ausprobieren! Frische Zutaten, frisch zubereitet und authentisches Personal. Preis-Leistung angemessen, einziger Stern Abzug beim Ambiente - ist ja aber auch eh Geschmackssache.

Got served by someone who didn’t speak German well. Had to play the pointing game with the menu. Then instead of an alcohol-free Hefeweizen beer, my husband was served a normal beer. When he complained, he got an (alcoholic) Hefeweizen beer. Only got the correct drink on the third try. All in all, the food that was served was good. But we didn’t get our appetizer. When we paid, we realized that the waitress hadn’t even taken our appetizer order despite her nodding when we pointed. So much for service. :-(

Das Essen wir sehr schön angerichtet. Unsere Sommerrollen schmeckten frisch und lecker. Auch die dazugehörige Soße war super. Wir hatten noch Vorspeisen, die waren OK... Aber die Rollen waren das beste an Essen! Wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder!
