For this quality, a gift is still too expensive. Very greasy and lukewarm food, long waiting time at the checkout. No, I don't need a second chance, that's it.

Good price/performance ratio. Portions are reasonable. Fine selection of various dishes and nice offers.

Previously I would have only given you three stars. The room is for food. The staff was not good. The new staff is very good. We met a lady with great communication skills (don't be offended if I misspell her name) her energy is very nice. She is very friendly. She never stopped smiling, even with our baby. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. She turned our negative experience at the restaurant into a positive one. We will keep coming back for this friendly service.

We have been at XXXLRestaurant for years We can't complain. There is always plenty to eat. And the service is always nice and friendly. We always don't understand people's complaints. There are always bad days. But the people who work there can't help it.. Let's smile 😃

We would have liked to eat there, but we were "too late" twice. The first time we were there at 4:45 p.m. Unfortunately, the advertised rump steak was no longer available. Statement from the staff “you have to come earlier”. So go again the next day. This time it was 3:15 p.m. - after a quarter of an hour we were noticed. Same game again... After I pointed out that the working population couldn't come earlier, I was told that people order the offers at breakfast time so that they can still get them. Well, something is going wrong?!? In my opinion, this is a tactic: lure offers to bring people into the house. Availability deliberately limited. See you at IKEA! 👋🏻 Significantly cheaper & faster service.

Eternal queue because it's too full, it takes forever to be seen by the waitress. Requested a new drink twice because there were coffee grounds in it. Food came wrong and there was lint inside after waiting almost half an hour... never again. The service tries its best but it's just too crowded and too much.

I ate there for the first time today, had currywurst with fries and a drink, a pancake with pistatcia, ice cream, cream and chocolate... I can highly recommend it, large portions, very tasty, service was very friendly and accommodating... I'll come gladly again

First of all, 1 of the employees was very rude. We asked for hot water to feed our babies but they said there was no hot water. But they said I could use the hot water if I buy a tea with money. They went out of their way to charge for hot water for baby food. That's the first shock. Then we were not allowed to redeem our vouchers. The reason for this was that we should have told them as soon as we sat down at the table. Not when we paid the bill. That was the second shock. We always eat in both Mannheim and Heidelberg. I don't understand why the staff in Mannheim is so different from the staff in Heidelberg. Same brand and same food. It's not super clean like it used to be. We didn't like the food either, even though we normally enjoy eating there. In Mannheim. It was dirty everywhere. The playground is terrible. Is it never cleaned? That's not hygienic. If something like this happens again, I will not hesitate to report it to the health center.

I didn't feel like cooking today and thought I'd go to the XXXL restaurant again. Wasn't disappointed. The food came quickly and was very tasty. And the service was very friendly and attentive. I would be happy to come again.

Wirtshausschnitzel was extremely small, a disgrace for EUR 13.90! Especially when you sell the “normal” schnitzel that is 3 times as big for EUR 10.90. And sauce also charged extra. Condition had zero overview and was very inattentive. Many tables were extremely dirty or not cleared. I've never experienced anything like that there! For these prices I can go to a “real” restaurant in the future!

Something to eat and drink here is ok. I find it expensive, especially when you order strawberry tiramisu cake and don't receive it as pictured. There was no tiramisu 😕. The capo was small and OK. All in all, I wouldn't eat here again if I didn't have to.

Unfortunately it's not like it used to be, the prices have risen and the portions have shrunk. Was that a portion of salmon? Adult or children is questionable, latte was basically just milk and dessert was missing chocolate sauce Compensation for salmon came with fries but in the end I had to pay for them

I've been coming to the restaurant here for many years, everything is always friendly, clean and tastes great too. The staff is very friendly. It's a well-coordinated team. TOP Priiiimmmmma keep it up, you can't get rid of me. 😃😉 Best regards M.K.

We regularly come to the xxxl Lutz restaurant at least once a month. With 2 children (4+6 years), this is the place to go where it suits us, especially on rainy days. There is a children's room. There is a “climbing frame” with a slide and ball pit. Even if it's not so spectacular, as soon as there are other children there, the kids play together wonderfully and you can eat, drink coffee or enjoy delicious cake in peace. The food is as you would expect for a restaurant like this. Price-performance ratio is definitely right here. You can also save a lot with vouchers. Absolute recommendation from me

Had a chicken schnitzel and after the first cut the plate was full of grease, oil or whatever The meat itself was not of good quality The service was at least very friendly I still wouldn't eat here anymore

We came for breakfast at 4 past 11 a.m. and were told that it was already too late, breakfast is only available until 11 a.m. If only we had found a place right away, which wasn't possible because it was very full. It would probably have been before 11am 🤷‍♂️ Unfortunately very inflexible 😕

I can't understand some of the reviews because the staff is super friendly! Apparently the following applies: As it calls into the forest, it comes back?? How can you give a bad rating if you don't get any more space? We think there are a lot of repeat customers who really enjoy their meal here!! We've been here several times, but only for breakfast and we were/are so excited!!! We were here with a friend who wants to come back. Last week we were here with a little boy, he was amazed and beamed the whole time!!! By the way: Even our special requests were happily and correctly carried out!! Always my pleasure !!!

Long wait in line, very long wait for food (more than 30 minutes). The cheese spaetzle was more of a watery soup with strings of cheese. The choice for vegetarians is modest (2 main courses among more than 20 dishes)

Waiting time for food (salads and a pasta dish) was over 40 minutes. For one dish the sauce was cold and the inside of the tomato 🍅 was still frozen. The waitress apologized and offered a replacement. Because you have to wait at the entrance and the service shouts across the “restaurant” about the number of guests to be admitted, there is an unpleasant atmosphere. Not recommended at all!

Das Ambiente und das Servicepersonal lassen tatsächlich eher an eine Kantine denken als an ein "Restaurant". Das Essen haben wir ja gar nicht gekostet, obwohl wir Hunger hatten. Dass man vor dem Eingang warten muss, um einen Platz zugewiesenen zu bekommen, ist keine gute Idee, wenn man KEINEN Mitarbeiter dort hat, der NUR für den Empfang der Gäste zuständig ist. Wir haben eine Weile gewartet, sind dann auf eigene Faust reingegangen - viele Plätze waren frei...aber wir durften nicht Platz nehmen, sondern wurden von einer äußerst unfreundlichen Kellnerin harsch zurechtgewiesen und zurück zum Eingang geschickt.... Wir sollen gefälligst dort warten... Natürlich sind wir weggegangen. Und werden sicher kein zweites Mal kommen. Denn ein solcher Umgang mit Kunden ist einfach unverschämt. Da vergeht einem der Appetit. Liebe Berteiber*innen, wenn Sie Regeln mit Tischzuweisung wie in den USA einführen und so tun, als wäre das ein feines Restaurant, dann sorgen Sie wenugstens dafür, dass genug Servicekräfte da sind und das diese freundlicher und zuvorkommender sind (so wie in den USA). Ansonsten ist eher Selbstbedienung angebracht.

Servicekraft überfordert, unproffessionell, unfreundlich vorallem zu Kindern. Überhaupt nicht Familenfreundlich.

Ehrlich gesagt sehr sehr sehr enttäuschend. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, aber sehr klar zum Service, denn der hat meine Mutter und mich heute über 30 Minuten warten lassen! Wie kann sowas sein? Selbst nachdem ich gefragt hatte an den Tresen ob jemand kommen könnte kam niemand um die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Da fällt einem nix zu ein. Wir sind dann gegangen.

Wir waren heute bei XXXL Lutz im "Restaurant" essen, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Das Ambiente ist eher wie eine gehobene Kantine. Wir waren so gegen 13:30 Uhr da und die Tische waren zu 75% belegt. Nach kurzer Wartezeit kam eine sehr nette und freundliche Dame zu uns und nahm die Bestellung auf. Die Wartezeit für das Essen ging gerade noch so in Ordnung. Geschmacklich war das Essen ebenfalls ok. Wir hatte 4 Schnitzel mit Pommes, einmal Bratensoße und einen Salat. Die Menge der Pommes war eher ein schlechter Witz, gerade mal eine kleine Handvoll war je auf den Tellern zu finden. Achja, die Bratensoße kostete 2,50 Euro extra was wir als extrem überteuert fanden, zumal sie sehr dickflüssig war, fast wie Brei und sie hatte extrem viele Klümpchen. Als ich meine Tochter (11) etwas Soße auf den Teller machte, hat sie mich direkt gefragt was das ist, sie hat diese dickflüssige Soßen nicht als Soße erkannt. Der extra Salat kostete hingegen nur 1,90 Euro extra und das war nicht nur grüner Salat sondern allerlei an Salate. Die Getränke Mirinda, 7up und Pepsi Cola mit je 0,33l waren schlichtweg zu teuer. Die Pepsi hat 3,60 Euro gekostet, die anderen Getränke je 3,20 Euro das ist für diese Restaurant Kategorie einfach zu viel. Als Dessert haben wir uns 3 mal ein gemischtes Eis und eine "Heise Liebe" Vanille Eis mit heißen Himbeeren und Sahne bestellt. Hier mussten wir extrem lange auf das Eis warten, glaub es waren über 20 min und das für je 3 kleine Kugeln Eis welches von Mövenpick sein soll. Also entweder ist Mövenpick nicht mehr das was es mal war, oder es war kein Mövenpick. Keiner von uns fand das Eis gut, Das Vanille war irgendwas vanilleähnliches, den Geschmack kann man nicht wirklich beschreiben. Das sog. "Heiße Liebe" Eis war eher eine "Kalte Liebe", denn heiß war hier gar nichts, nicht mal die Himbeeren. Alles in allem war es ein Versuch wert, allerdings glaube ich nicht das wir hier noch einmal essen werden. Preis/Leistung ist einfach nicht gut, einzig die Dame die uns bedient hat war super freundlich ...um noch mal was positives zu schreiben.

Update 16.04.23 Wenn ich von störender Mitarbeiterin schreibe, dann habe ich mich wohl kaum wohlgefühlt!!! - Rezension ganz lesen, bevor man antwortet 😕 Sehr nette, junge Bedienung. Fix und freundlich. Preis-Leistung 👍 auch durch die Coupons die in der Werbung abgedruckt sind oder über das Netz abrufbar sind. First-Class-Essen darf man hier nicht erwarten, aber dies tut wohl auch keiner?! Essen sehr günstig, Getränke eher teuer. Punktabzug, da am 12.04.23, eine dunkelhaarige Mitarbeiterin mittleren Alters (leitende Stellung???) hinterm Tresen vor allen Gästen lautstark MitarbeiterInnen zurechtwies. Das war sehr störend und mehr als peinlich!

Das Essen war prima, um längen besser als im XXL Karlsruhe

Wir waren nun schon ein paar mal hier und fanden das Essen immer super 👍 Mit den Rabatten kann man sich auch noch als Familie leisten Essen zu gehen. Schnitzel sind total groß, frisch zubereitet und super lecker!!😉 Selbst die Bedienung ist hier sehr freundlich und hat immer ein Lächeln und nette Worte auf den Lippen. Hier geht man wirklich gerne essen,weil alles passt und wir rundum zufrieden sind!! Weiter so 👍👍👍

Hallo... Wer einfach mal Schnitzel für wenig Geld essen will ist dort richtig! Für den Preis, besonders mit Rabatten lohnt es sich nicht mal, selbst zu kochen. Preis ist top und Qualität stimmt auch. Die anderen Gerichte muss man probieren und selbst entscheiden... Manche waren gut, andere nicht so. In letzter Zeit öfters mal ausverkauft... Bedienungen sind eigentlich gut, schnell und nett ( bisher nur einmal nicht zufrieden bei sehr vielen Besuchen dort ).

Vorteile: Gemütliches Restaurant, freundliches Personal, gutes Essen. Nachteilig ist, dass das Restaurant an den Wochenenden in der Regel immer voll ist, dass es nicht einfach ist, einen freien Platz zu finden, dass man sich erst in die Schlange einreihen muss, um einen freien Platz zu bekommen, und dass man dann auf seine Bestellung warten muss.

Super Auswahl, sehr gute Qualität und die Preise sind unschlagbar! Immer wieder gerne . Mfg

Wir waren heute in Ihrem Restaurant zum Mittagessen, es war sehr gut, auch mit der Größe der Portionen waren wir sehr zufrieden. Ein besonderes Lob geht an unsere Bedienung Fr. C. Dillinger, sie war sehr aufmerksam , freundlich und hat umsichtig gearbeitet. Dies alles ist heutzutage leider nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Bitte geben Sie dies auch an Ihre Mitarbeiterin weiter - Danke

Essen ist lecker, aber …, warum gibt es kein Kaiserschmarrn mehr ?

Die Auswahl an Essen ist ganz ok und so ist dann auch das Essen. Ambiente ist eher nicht so schön aber um mal beim Möbel shoppen kurz etwas zu essen reicht es. Lange Schlange von Leuten die auf einen Platz warten. Das kam auch daran, dass einige Tische abgesperrt waren.

Lange warte Zeiten .Essen geht so muss nicht sein und oft kein Nachtisch

Das Essen hat super lecker geschmeckt die Portionsgröße war vollkommen in Ordnung und das Auge ist für gewöhnlich ja mit das sah alles sehr appetitlich und super toll zubereitet vielen herzlichen Dank weiter so

Super Restaurant, sehr kompetentes Personal, sehr freundlich ! Leider gibt es zum Frühstück nur eine kleine Tasse Kaffee, sowie bei Kaffee + Kuchen ab 1.Juli Schade !!! Mein Mann, hat bei jeder Gelegenheit immer Kaffee + Kuchen bestellt, auch nach dem Frühstück.etc. Der Preis ist es nicht, der Kaffee ist einfach für ein großes Frühstück zu wenig. Freundliches aufmerksames Personal, Hütthalter Hofkultur Schnitzel bei XXXLutz Mannheim. Sehr lecker, feinste Panade, durchwachsen, dafür aber saftig. Aktion regional ist ein tolles Konzept. Doppelter Platz für die Tiere im Stall, Strohhaltung mit Auslauf, kurze Transportwege. Gutes Gewissen und top Gaumenfreude.

Gerne besuchen wir das Restaurant. Das Essen war bis jetzt immer gut bis sehr gut und zum Abschluss gibt es meisten das XXXL Kaffee und Kuchen Gedeck. Der Service ist auch gut.
