Everything about their portions, quality, taste, sauces, is great. The taste of one item when ordered again remains exactly same. I have been a big fan of their Gangnam style Wings, and their super spicy Wings. Can repeatedly order them without any regret. Ambience of the restaurant is very nice. Staff courteous. Feel good place. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with those who reconsidered their meal shortly afterward. I can't fault anything else; the service was very friendly and attentive. But when something goes wrong with the food so often, it's worrying. In my case, it doesn't matter how the restaurant experience went, as I would have very much preferred to avoid it.

The food is truly incredible! And the ambiance is also very nice. However, the waiters could work on their attitude a bit. Otherwise, everything is top-notch!

The service was extremely disappointing. Instead of respectfully handing over the menu, they simply threw it onto the table. Even when serving drinks, the waitress displayed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior toward the guests. This kind of behavior is completely inappropriate in the restaurant industry. They don't skimp on the chicken! Absolutely delicious and generous portions for the higher price. You can tell they marinate the chicken with how juicy it is. If you like hearing KPOP for the entire time you're here, you'll feel right at home. I recommend if you like fried chicken, and plan on coming back.

The chicken was raw inside. Both of us had stomach aches after eating it. And so little sauce for €2.50 per bowl. This is such a disgrace, topped off by the fact that instead of deducting the price for the raw chicken from my bill, they charged me half the price. Avoid this place.

The tteokbokki and fried chicken was pretty good. Tried their spicy sauce for the fried chicken, but sadly it wasn't that spicy. But taste wise it was good. The beef mandu was definitely the worst out of the things I ate there, but it was still decent enough.

The staff was a bit rude, as he seemed quite annoyed and kept making eye contact. He also whispered, making it difficult to understand him. The food was okay; one friend found the chicken gristly, but we thought it was okay. The sauces were good. The room was very nice, and the tables and chairs were also very comfortable. It was delicious. It was highly praised by both Germans and families.

The chicken pieces aren't exactly cheap, and the half/half option has been removed from the menu, meaning you now have to pay more if you want two kinds. Some of them have a portion size that's unfortunately ridiculous for the price. You also have to pay for the radish, even though it's common in Korea to get it for free. New to the menu are ddeokbokki (rice cakes) and bingsu (ice cream). I have to say that the portion of ddeokbokki was unfortunately far too small for the price of at least €13 (+individual ingredients) (there were maybe six rice cakes in it). The dish had more vegetables than rice cakes, even though that was supposed to be the main ingredient. Eating ddeokbokki with bell peppers and canned mushrooms was also an interesting experience. Overall, the sauce for the rosé ddeokbokki wasn't bad (better than other Korean restaurants nearby). The bingsu (€7.20) was tasty, but the portion was much too small. In Korea, you have to share a cup; here, I'd say everyone should order their own. It was sad that, in the middle of summer (July), they used frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones. Overall, everything tastes relatively good, but the value for money leaves something to be desired for all the products. We were genuinely surprised by this tone, especially since we simply wanted to complain politely. What the young waiter was trying to achieve with his accusations remains unclear to us.

We've eaten here regularly in the past, but after our last visit, it's clear to us: We won't be back. The way the student discount was handled was absolutely disappointing and unprofessional. Although the offer is heavily advertised and we've been able to use it without any problems in the past, we were denied the discount this time – on the grounds that each person had to show their student ID. My friend paid for both of us, but because I didn't have any ID with me, the discount was only applied to one person. When we objected that this made no sense at all – especially since with takeout orders you get a discount on the entire order, regardless of who ends up eating it – the waitress simply replied snippily: "It makes sense, though." The discount policy seems completely contradictory, implemented arbitrarily, and isn't clearly communicated anywhere. Instead of understanding or consideration, we were dismissed – and that as paying regulars. Customer friendliness looks different. For us, this was our last visit.

⸻ The chicken pieces were well-fried – unfortunately, that was the only positive thing. The service was very disappointing: 1. There were two of us women, and the server simply placed a large water bottle on the table and immediately left. We had to take turns to even open the lid. 2. From the moment we sat down until the main course was served, we weren't given any cutlery. The food was set down without comment, without us even having a chance to say anything. In the end, we sat in silence in front of our food, waiting for cutlery – no one noticed us. Only when we called loudly for service did we finally get cutlery. Speaking of which: There were only two or three other tables occupied – so a total of five or six guests at most.

We received an unwelcome welcome; the table was littered with leftovers from previous customers... and it wasn't cleaned until we spoke to the waiter. The food was too expensive for average taste.

I've always heard about the hyped Korean chicken and have tried many, and like many others, this one was a disappointment. First of all, the restaurant is really nicely designed, large, beautiful, and relaxing. But as soon as we entered, we noticed that the service was not good at all. At the entrance, it says you have to wait to be seated. The restaurant wasn't even close to full, but none of the staff came to greet us, even though the lady at the bar had nothing to do and looked at us several times. Even the waiters, who had noticed us, thought it unnecessary to show us to a table. So we stood there stupidly for 10 minutes, waiting until someone finally took pity on us and showed us to a table in a half-empty restaurant. We then had the lunch menu with a choice of two sauces. I can't quite remember what it was, but I do remember very clearly that the chicken had such a strange aftertaste that I didn't want to eat any more after one piece. I have no idea what it was, but it made it totally unappetizing. The prices for Korean chicken were also way overpriced; I wasted over €20 for a few pieces of chicken with sauce (which is also one of the cheapest types of meat). The salad and fries that came with it were just average. Unfortunately, I won't be coming here again; the food and service weren't worth the price at all.

BBQ Chicken Mannheim – Surprisingly good Korean Fried Chicken I was there and ordered the combo 3 – a double portion of chicken. That was quite a lot. For normal hunger, a simple portion would probably have been enough. At first glance the food doesn't look that big, but I really enjoy eating well - and in the end it was quite a lot even for me. I had Black Pepper Chicken and Galbi Chicken, with fries with cheese powder. The two varieties weren't available as wings, but only as boneless chicken pieces - but that didn't detract from the whole thing. The breading was crispy, the meat was juicy, and the flavor was strong throughout. The Galbi variety in particular was really tasty. The cheese powder fries were something different, the taste went well with the chicken. The only downside: Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly quick - but it was friendly. Overall: Absolutely convincing in terms of taste. If you like Korean fried chicken, this is the place for you. Not exactly cheap in price, but the quality is good.

We have been here and both the food and atmosphere is nice. Go there and eat directly. Please do not order here from Wolt. They will charge you 5€ extra other than the delivery fee. This is not right. The dish that costs 13€ onsite costed us 19€(a € for service cost).Wolt said that they are giving us a so called “2.50€” off on delivery but charging us something completely different from the restaurant actually cost. I hope the restaurant is well aware of it???

I don't want to say much about the service and the ambience because the food was a disaster. The meat was stringy and some parts were pink inside. The whole thing felt mushy in my mouth. The marinade was a sugar bomb (secret marinade). Out of respect for food, I wanted to finish it, but I couldn't. In the end I had over half of it packed up and thrown in the trash. Conclusion: there are much better alternatives for this price.

The chicken sauce dishes here are very delicious. The last time I came, the service staff was very good, very friendly and enthusiastic. But a few months before that, I had two times where the waiters were other people and had a very bad attitude. They were also foreigners and so were we, but their attitude was very contemptuous of us.

I called bbq Chicken in advance and the operations manager was on the phone and gave me perfect advice on the variations and then decided on the Gangjeong, slightly sweet with honey pepper sauce and some rice syrup with a slight spiciness. The boneless chicken was very tender and tasted perfect. Price-wise, at just under €18, it's not exactly cheap, but the portion was OK for the price. Timing and freshness great 👍. Great service! Since I picked up the food, I can only rate the ambience from previous visits. You can tell it's a franchise and has a very clean design, a bit like a canteen. You have a simple outdoor area, everything is clean. Will order chicken here again!

First of all, I really liked how the staff smiled and guided us kindly. I think it would be a good place to come when you want to eat Korean-style chicken. The Gangjeong Chicken was delicious, and the Golden Fried Chicken was crispy and good. I plan to come again next time~

I've eaten there twice now and also had it delivered. Everything is super tasty, very crispy and tender. If you order spicy, it's not too spicy. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the staff is very nice.

I went to the BBQ Chicken Restaurant today as my friends wanted to break their fast and unfortunately I have to say that I was very disappointed. I didn't like the food at all. I only ate one piece of chicken because the rest was simply inedible. In addition, I was dissatisfied with the way payment was handled. There was no fair solution when I pointed out the quality of the food. It just doesn't feel right paying for something I couldn't enjoy. I therefore cannot recommend this restaurant and will not come back. I asked the waiter to take my plate away because it was simply inedible. When paying, the store manager asked me why I didn't say anything from the start even though I pointed it out to the waitress with the first bite.

The fried chicken is delicious, crispy and the sauces are very good. Our favorites were the gagnam style wings and the honey garlic wings. I highly recommend them 🤤.

Amazing place to have some great fried chicken! Freshly prepared and tossed with tasty sauces. I tried Galbi and the secret sauce. Lip smacking!! Avoid going solo if you want to try different varieties. They do not do half and half. I suggest they start some combo for 1 person as well.

This was indeed my second Korean BBQ Chicken I have ever tried. The first one was in Mainz, Chicken Kokio. I would say it was pretty much tasty, I had the Gangnam style Chicken with a side plain Rice. I wasn’t that really impressed though but it’s worth recommending. I would definitely come back for the other recipes

It's been a while since I visited because I wanted to eat chicken, but the staff didn't smile, looked at me curtly, turned their head away, and didn't even say hello. I feel so embarrassed. Many people, including me, are posting that the employees are unfriendly, but there is no change. Golden Fried Chicken looks too oily and not salty. And there seems to be a lot more fried breadcrumbs than meat. I ordered Gangjeong sauce, but I was shocked because the amount was so small. If you visit with Korean BBQ in mind, it feels a bit lacking. The BBQ in Dussel is a bit greasy, but it's better than here. There is no intention to visit again. I hope you pay more attention to flavor and menu development.

Ich kenne kein Restaurant (besser nun kenne ich doch eines): der Chef sitzt in der Ecke und surft oder spielt Solitair oder sonst was, und seine zwei Mitarbeiter schwimmen und er greift nicht selbst ein, um beispielsweise Getränke zu zapfen oder abzuräumen. Deswegen zieht sich ein Besuch immer lange hin, weil es immer etwas dauert, bis dass ein Mitarbeiter vorbeikommt und die Bestellung aufnimmt und auch hinterher auch serviert. Unser Essen stand doch sehr lange unter der Wärmelampe bevor es serviert werden konnte. Ich habe es nochmals mit einer Sauce probiert, aber das nächste Mal wieder ohne Sauce. Das ist mir zu sehr gekleistert. Mein Huhn war perfekt von der Zubereitung drinnen. Mein Freund hatte Pech: wohl ein Huhn aus einem Sanatorium erwischt: zäh und mit Knochen/Knorpel.

Chicken was lukewarm, raw in many places, fries were very dry, sauces were expensive and very little, way too expensive for something like that.

So I can't recommend this shop because every part of the chicken was raw, the salad was straight out of the package (no taste) and the fries were like MC in the bad sense, cold, mushy. I'm really sorry for such a review, but it ruined the experience for the whole day, it's a shame the way it looked and the photo corner was appealing.

We ordered 2 types of chicken. Unfortunately the meat was still raw. When asked, the waitress said that there shouldn't be any problems and that it had something to do with hemoglobin. We didn't eat and took the rest of the food home with us. I didn't feel well the evening after eating it and had a stomach ache. The raw meat is a health risk. Not recommended!

Service worst quality, waiting time is so long, approx. 30-40 minutes (there were 2 customers on site at the time). We waited 15 minutes until we were allowed to sit down and were not served to be allowed to sit down. (The shop had 2 customers!!!) it was empty. We decided to sit down because we had been standing around at the entrance for a long time. We were then disrespectfully judged and said that we were not allowed to sit down and that we should continue to wait next time. It's rude not to be served while the store is empty and the employees have nothing to do. This shop is not recommended under any circumstances because it is morally oppressive and you will starve.

Went there on a Monday night and it was almost full. The waiter was busy alone and had to wait a long time to order, but his attitude was very good. Ordered a double combo of boneless fried chicken and cheese rice cake stewed chicken. The taste is okay. I have never been to Korea and have never eaten authentic Korean fried chicken, but this is similar to what I imagined. The price is a bit high. If you happen to be passing by, you can eat and see. No need to make a special trip.

Actually, BBQ Chicken in Mannheim delivers good taste. I also visit here and there more often and the young team is always trying hard. However, I have one major point of criticism, which is aimed more at the management. Since the opening, there have been constant changes to the menu. In my opinion, never so that the customer gets an advantageous offer. Sometimes “with bones” is abolished, then it comes back again. Sometimes there is a student discount, sometimes not, sometimes only until Thursday. There used to be gloves and a trash drop. Fries have gotten better, but the portions back then were a joke. I think it's very noticeable what a calculating concept this branch has. But the employees can't do anything about it. Simply as an appeal to management. You rely on predominantly young customers and times are tough, which is why adjustments are always necessary. But the frequency of the changes and the very calculating, unpleasant nature of them give your store a bad aftertaste.

I always come here when I visit Mannheim. The fried chicken tastes very good almost like the chicken I ate in Korea and their service is great as well.

This crunchy and crispy texture that you can't find in German chicken restaurants! I wanted to eat it so much. The Gangnam Style sauce was just as delicious as the spicy seasoned chicken sauce. Personally, I think the wing menu is crispier than the regular menu. I understand why wings are a popular menu item. And you have to eat it as soon as it comes out for it to be crispier and more delicious.
