Really great dishes. Super tasty

The fried chicken is delicious, crispy and the sauces are very good. Our favorites were the gagnam style wings and the honey garlic wings. I highly recommend them 🤤.

Service-bad, food-worse, golden fried chicken-too greasy

Amazing place to have some great fried chicken! Freshly prepared and tossed with tasty sauces. I tried Galbi and the secret sauce. Lip smacking!! Avoid going solo if you want to try different varieties. They do not do half and half. I suggest they start some combo for 1 person as well.

This was indeed my second Korean BBQ Chicken I have ever tried. The first one was in Mainz, Chicken Kokio. I would say it was pretty much tasty, I had the Gangnam style Chicken with a side plain Rice. I wasn’t that really impressed though but it’s worth recommending. I would definitely come back for the other recipes

It's been a while since I visited because I wanted to eat chicken, but the staff didn't smile, looked at me curtly, turned their head away, and didn't even say hello. I feel so embarrassed. Many people, including me, are posting that the employees are unfriendly, but there is no change. Golden Fried Chicken looks too oily and not salty. And there seems to be a lot more fried breadcrumbs than meat. I ordered Gangjeong sauce, but I was shocked because the amount was so small. If you visit with Korean BBQ in mind, it feels a bit lacking. The BBQ in Dussel is a bit greasy, but it's better than here. There is no intention to visit again. I hope you pay more attention to flavor and menu development.

Ich kenne kein Restaurant (besser nun kenne ich doch eines): der Chef sitzt in der Ecke und surft oder spielt Solitair oder sonst was, und seine zwei Mitarbeiter schwimmen und er greift nicht selbst ein, um beispielsweise Getränke zu zapfen oder abzuräumen. Deswegen zieht sich ein Besuch immer lange hin, weil es immer etwas dauert, bis dass ein Mitarbeiter vorbeikommt und die Bestellung aufnimmt und auch hinterher auch serviert. Unser Essen stand doch sehr lange unter der Wärmelampe bevor es serviert werden konnte. Ich habe es nochmals mit einer Sauce probiert, aber das nächste Mal wieder ohne Sauce. Das ist mir zu sehr gekleistert. Mein Huhn war perfekt von der Zubereitung drinnen. Mein Freund hatte Pech: wohl ein Huhn aus einem Sanatorium erwischt: zäh und mit Knochen/Knorpel.

Chicken was lukewarm, raw in many places, fries were very dry, sauces were expensive and very little, way too expensive for something like that.

So I can't recommend this shop because every part of the chicken was raw, the salad was straight out of the package (no taste) and the fries were like MC in the bad sense, cold, mushy. I'm really sorry for such a review, but it ruined the experience for the whole day, it's a shame the way it looked and the photo corner was appealing.

We ordered 2 types of chicken. Unfortunately the meat was still raw. When asked, the waitress said that there shouldn't be any problems and that it had something to do with hemoglobin. We didn't eat and took the rest of the food home with us. I didn't feel well the evening after eating it and had a stomach ache. The raw meat is a health risk. Not recommended!

Very nice staff but we had to wait about 15 minutes for our drink (Cola). Some of the food was not yet cooked through, and in some places it was still very pink. The price-performance ratio is absolutely not right.

Service worst quality, waiting time is so long, approx. 30-40 minutes (there were 2 customers on site at the time). We waited 15 minutes until we were allowed to sit down and were not served to be allowed to sit down. (The shop had 2 customers!!!) it was empty. We decided to sit down because we had been standing around at the entrance for a long time. We were then disrespectfully judged and said that we were not allowed to sit down and that we should continue to wait next time. It's rude not to be served while the store is empty and the employees have nothing to do. This shop is not recommended under any circumstances because it is morally oppressive and you will starve.

The chicken is very good quality. Highly recommend Gangnam Style Chicken. Fries average. Portions adequate. Some employees are friendly, others not so much. Background music a disaster.

I would highly recommend this place for people who like chicken wings a lot. I would recommend Cheesling or Mala Spicy. Cheesling for people who like cheese and Mala Spicy for people who like it spicier. Cheesling with Mala hot sauce, tastes great. I would highly recommend!! It's just like KFC but the better version.

This was the second BBQ spot I’ve tried, and it was definitely better than the first. The portions were generous, and the spiciness was just right—exactly how I like my Korean food. We ordered the Tteokbokki and Korean BBQ chicken with their secret sauce, and both dishes were perfect for two people. Overall, I had a great lunch!

Went there on a Monday night and it was almost full. The waiter was busy alone and had to wait a long time to order, but his attitude was very good. Ordered a double combo of boneless fried chicken and cheese rice cake stewed chicken. The taste is okay. I have never been to Korea and have never eaten authentic Korean fried chicken, but this is similar to what I imagined. The price is a bit high. If you happen to be passing by, you can eat and see. No need to make a special trip.

Food was delicious but service was terrible. I had to wait almost 2 hours for my food, while others who came to the store later got their food beforehand. After we complained in a friendly manner and asked what was going on with the food, we had to use very unfriendly words. I had to wait more than two hours for my food, while other guests who arrived after me were served much faster. Unfortunately, when I politely asked your staff about it, I was treated extremely unfriendly and disrespectfully like "Shut up DUDE." This behavior disappointed me very much and did not meet the expectations I have of your service. Actually, BBQ Chicken in Mannheim delivers good taste. I also visit here and there more often and the young team is always trying hard. However, I have one major point of criticism, which is aimed more at the management. Since the opening, there have been constant changes to the menu. In my opinion, never so that the customer gets an advantageous offer. Sometimes “with bones” is abolished, then it comes back again. Sometimes there is a student discount, sometimes not, sometimes only until Thursday. There used to be gloves and a trash drop. Fries have gotten better, but the portions back then were a joke. I think it's very noticeable what a calculating concept this branch has. But the employees can't do anything about it. Simply as an appeal to management. You rely on predominantly young customers and times are tough, which is why adjustments are always necessary. But the frequency of the changes and the very calculating, unpleasant nature of them give your store a bad aftertaste.

I always come here when I visit Mannheim. The fried chicken tastes very good almost like the chicken I ate in Korea and their service is great as well.

This crunchy and crispy texture that you can't find in German chicken restaurants! I wanted to eat it so much. The Gangnam Style sauce was just as delicious as the spicy seasoned chicken sauce. Personally, I think the wing menu is crispier than the regular menu. I understand why wings are a popular menu item. And you have to eat it as soon as it comes out for it to be crispier and more delicious.

I've been a regular customer here for three years since I moved to Mannheim. Super great food, super nice employees. I always recommend it to my friends. This would be a suitable meeting place for carnivores.

Very Nasty food . Upon arrival , they stop serving cocktail beverages because too busy and was not greeted and very impatient waiter that asked me during my sit down “Do You Want it or Not” . The wings and flavors were not good and the French fries were small amount and cold. I didn’t expect 5star treatment but customer service was Not It here. Mind you, my partner and I still had to pay for this food. 2 combo and 2 set of fries , combo does not include Fries was 78 Euros . Very Overpriced. We actually went to another restaurant that was much cheaper around the corner called “Rosso Vivo” Italian restaurant , much nicer and friendlier atmosphere.recommend a different place to eat.

Very rude on the phone. Food arrived late, portions embarrassingly small. Here people are stingy and saving until it is no longer possible and then there are such prices. Last time I order from here and I really don't recommend it to anyone.

We were there and spent €40 for two people on food poisoning… The meat was still pink and unfortunately we noticed that too late. I will never be seen there again. Completely irresponsible and just plain bold. It's a shame we're not in the USA, otherwise the store would have been reported long ago.

All the options for BBQ chicken. Most of it boneless. The different sauces are very tasty. Big portion for you. For me, having just one flavor was too much. It's better if you go in a group, order different things, if necessary a portion less. Then it's great to share. It is of course very crispy, oily and greasy. But very tasty if you have variety.

It was a place where you could taste Korean-style chicken. In addition to the regular fried chicken, the menu was also good, with steamed chicken and tteokbokki. However, it was disappointing that I had to order the chicken radish separately for 3 euros, and the amount was much smaller than the chicken radish delivered together when delivering in Korea.

Ich liebe eigentlich das Original, aber es immer zuviel, um alles auf zu essen, aber zu wenig, um noch eine Mahlzeit mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Deswegen kam es mir entgegen, dass es eine Bowl mit Hühnchen gab. Leider ist das Hühnchen leider schon so zusammengeschniten, dass es irgendwie anders schmeckte als sonst. Diese fette Mayonnaise oben drauf, hätte man vielleicht besser extra servieren sollen. Zum ersten Mal erlebe das Restaurant, dass mehr als eine Servicekraft da war. So passte dieses Mal die Wartezeit zu den Erwartungen.

Delicious chicken dishes with fine, spicy sauces. Not a cheap undertaking, but at second glance the portions are sufficient. Recommended, will definitely come back soon. Because my own attempts to recreate the food haven't been that successful yet.

A bit of a wait, with hunger in your stomach it feels like forever... But the food more than makes up for it!!! I recommend everyone to go there! We had a mix platter for two, were full and more than thrilled by the fantastic taste 😍

The Secret Sauced Chicken and Honey Garlic Chicken were incredibly crispy, tender and went perfectly with the sauces. The tteok-bokki are also very tasty and definitely worth a try! Come again.

The chicken legs were breaded chicken fat. Just jelly... And the fries with cheese sprinkles are the worst thing I've ever eaten. The cheese powder was also sweet 🤢€30 went down the drain. 🫣

Tried multiple times... Each time i was thinking maybe i ordered wrong type.. Tried their secret sauce, gangan style, Lemon cheesling.... All were very sweet... The only thing i always taste in their chicken is sugar.... Honestly i can't taste any chicken since sugar always dominates... Only if you want to eat chicken candy then you can go an try...

Friendly staff, delicious food, quick service, reasonable prices. The portions are quite large, you can order one dish plus a side dish for two people. The chicken was well cooked and the spiciness of the dishes corresponded to reality.

The chicken is very tasty - usual quality. Unfortunately the service is totally inattentive. Everything seems much more important, like keeping an eye on the hungry customer and when they want to order. Immediate service is particularly common in Korea - it's completely different here. The young Koranic ladies should be less concerned with themselves and more concerned with guests.

Food not really edible, partly pink and the breading can't be called crispy but the waiters are nice but very overwhelmed. Also ugly Halloween decorations. In addition, the Sprit was very watery and cannot be compared to a real Sprite. The prices are significantly too expensive for such food and you have to pay for everything individually

Es ist lecker und auch viele Einheimische (aus Korea) besuchen gerne diesen Laden. Das ist ja schon mal ein sicheres Zeichen, dass es gut sein muss. Aber leider muss man auch immer etwas Zeit mitbringen, da oft nur ein Kellner da ist, der auch in Personalunion die Theke bedient. Am Besten geht man zwischen Mittag- und Abendessen dahin.

I didn't like it at BBQ Chicken. The food was mediocre, the service was amateurish and the prices were too high. The three of us left €78 there with one drink each and received KFC-like food. The chicken pieces cost around €17, a sauce €2.5 extra, fries and a cola that tasted strange from the glass, as if it had been diluted. We don't have to go there again.

mir hat es bei bbq chicken nicht gefallen. das essen war solala, der service amateurhaft und die preise zu hoch. wir haben zu dritt mit je einem getränk 78 € dort gelassen und haben KFC ähnliches essen erhalten. die hähnchenteile kosten ca. 17 €, eine sauce 2,5 € extra (dafür bekommt man sicher eine ganze tube von dem zeug), pommes dazu und eine cola die komisch aus dem glas geschmeckt hat. wir müssen da nicht noch mal hin. Mein Fazit: echt schade wo der trend der gastro hingeht. früher hat es spaß gemacht was neues zu versuchen aber jetzt wege ich es ab herumzuexperimentieren. für 2,5 € hat man in mannheim vor paar jahren noch einen hähnchendöner mit allem bekommen und jetzt eine kleine schale mayo.

Well, what can I say about that... Chicken wasn't cooked through, pink and gnarly brown chicken meat with fat, never seen anything so disgusting, breading sticky, thick, not crispy either.. service very unfriendly, totally overpriced...dirty dishes NEVER AGAIN ;(

We ordered 3 different versions on Lieferando and for all of them you had to look for the meat with a magnifying glass. It was just air and fat with a thick layer of empty breading, in the core of which there was actually only cartilage and tendons. Then they wanted to conjure up 50 euros for it. This must be a very lucrative business. I suspect that the leftovers are sent to the delivery customer, because otherwise the other good reviews would not be explained. I have to give a very clear warning, unless our order was the one in a million that went so badly.

The taste is quite okay. Unfortunately, the joy with the chicken didn't last long, stomach pains and nausea on the way home, arrived home, and that was it. Service was also nice, you can't complain about the ambience, and overall it was clean.

The BBQ Chicken Mannheim scores with its central location, which makes it easy to reach and is a big plus. The food is not only impressive in terms of taste, but also visually - every dish is attractively presented and tastes excellent. The staff is very polite and friendly, although communication could be improved to take the service to the next level. The restaurant itself is simply and modernly furnished, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The spacious room also offers enough space to comfortably accommodate larger groups. Overall, a recommendable restaurant that impresses above all with its central location and the quality of the food.

This place used to be good, from 4 star to 1 star. But the last 2 times I came here it things have changed. After the menu change, they are automatically giving boneless chicken - which I think is worse in quality and flavour. More importantly though, there is a lot of flour now and very small portions. I estimate I get 30% less food now than before, which is no longer enough for 2 people. The staff are extremely disorganised, they rush around but do a lot of nothing. It takes a long time to place your order, and a lot of food just sit in the window waiting for the staff to serve it. Since the price has increased, and the quality fallen, I think I will not visit it again.

I've been there twice now. The service is slow, really slow. When it says 'Please wait to be seated', it really means you will have to wait to be seated. It seems it's not normal for everybody at the table to get their food at the same time or even for the different parts of your meal to come at the same time. Your sides could come after you have finished your chicken, for example. You will find yourself having to get menus, cutlery, etc yourself. The food itself is fine, although not hot. I am not sure if this is intended or if the food just sits in the pass under the heat lamps for a long time. It does, as you will see if you sit with a view of the pass, where the chefs place the food to be picked up. By the way, the rice you can see just sitting there for ages, which you think might be yours, is yours. You just need to remind them again that you are waiting for it. Otherwise, it 'will not pass' the pass.

We were there for the first time today. First of all, the food was very tasty! The chicken was well seasoned and the side salad was really good. Now comes the BUT: unfortunately we had to wait a whole hour for the food. I also had to ask if we were even allowed to order. It's a shame because the food is delicious!

Es schmeckt nicht das alten Colonel, sondern eben anders. Mir sind die Saucen i.d.R. zu scharf und deswegen nehme ich es am liebsten neutral. Der Salat mit der Balsamico-Creme musste nun nicht sein, weil das nicht koreanisch genug war. Schade. Ansonsten ist das etwas von Ambiente her, zu nüchtern und für meinen Geschmack etwas unterbesetzt (dennoch sehr freundlich) - deswegen es lohnt sich Zeit mitzubringen und ggfls. zu warten.

Very tasty Korean style chicken! We had French Fries and coleslaw to go with the chicken. Everything was good and tasty. But I think I would order Korean rice next time because the sauce of the chicken was so nice and juicy.

Our chicken was still half raw. The waitress who asked about it said that it was normal and that she ate it that way too. We had lost our appetite by now and had to leave everything behind and pay. During the next day we promptly had diarrhea. not recommended

We used to visit this ery frequently, but something have changed since the last 2 times I have been there. This used to be one of my favorites places to eat. Before this place was a 5 stars. But after the menu changed, the food change as well and this made me so sad. The recipe tastes different, the coleslaw have now additional spices and it is so heavy with alot of cream. For the debonned chicken the quality if off, is extremely fatty and the pieces are bigger but you get less and I think because of this the chicken is not well cooked. What have changed? Please just keep what you where doing before.

We waited at the table for over 20 minutes but no one came to us. No menu, no staff, just nobody. Although some employees saw us, we were completely ignored. This experience was extremely disappointing and shocking. I have never experienced such bad service.

On a Sunday evening, very few people (Euro match broadcast in many bars) We noticed many delivery people, this service must work well. Possibility of doggy bag, the quantities are large because people have used it. We took 2 plain crispy dishes and galbi chicken. Galbi sauce which looks like a barbecue sauce, I didn't like it, it's a matter of taste. The menu says combo, a combination of 2 or 3 dishes. Only during the week 20% discount for students. A TV broadcasts songs or extracts from Korean films. Fairly loud music.

Well, we've been here twice so far and had two completely different experiences. Pros: -Very clean restaurant with very friendly service -15% student discount (Update: only during the week, massive downgrade) - Delicious food in itself and a large selection of different types (different levels of spiciness/sweetness) Cons: - After our second visit, my entire group had severe stomach pain that evening and into the following day. This didn't happen on the first visit, so something seems to have gone terribly wrong here. This shouldn't happen. We are now put off coming back. - The establishment offers a free drink in exchange for 5* reviews. This makes the assessment of the restaurant dubious. - The waitress doesn't seem to be really interested in the guests. When we came in there was still leftover food on a neighboring table. It took 15 minutes for it to be cleaned up. After we finished eating, we ordered another portion to take away. Until the portion came and we left (>15 minutes) no one came and cleaned up our table. Except for one of the employees, the other three just stood around together and talked and laughed. Very disappointing.

It was totally untidy where we were sitting, boxes, folding chairs, etc. It smelled very strongly of a deep fryer. We didn't find the service friendly either, we were only asked after we had finished eating whether it tasted good and in between we weren't asked if we wanted to drink anything else. You also had to pack the rest of the food you wanted to take with you yourself.

We went there for dinner last night with 6 people. Food really isn't bad. But what was noticeable was that the waitresses were really not friendly. What was a shame was that our order was incomplete, which we noticed straight away. But because the service was overwhelmed we couldn't clarify it. When it came time to pay, we told her that a dish wasn't there. She cheekily said that it was our problem, which was a shame. We still paid for the missing food, but we won't eat there again. Each of us left around 60 euros there. It's a shame, honestly. There was also a very strange smell in the air, inside and outside.

The staff are truly the ultimate in unfriendliness haha. What did we do wrong with our acquaintances after ordering food? Why are you angry? This is the first restaurant in Germany to say that haha. It was like that when I placed an additional order, and there weren't many customers. It was quiet, with about 5 to 7 tables per person. I also worked part-time at a Korean restaurant, and lived in Germany for 7-8 years, and sometimes the old ladies at Korean restaurants get ticked off, but it's worse than that. It seems like there are 3 people, an ajumma, an intermediate part-timer, and a part-timer, who do the serving and casserole work, but only the part-timer is friendly haha. This is the first time in my life that I have seen such unfriendliness and discomfort. Is this a concept by any chance? LOL
