Very unfriendly and unprofessional service. The lady is not suitable for the job. We will not be coming back.

A sign indicated that tables would be assigned, yet guests were left standing and only acknowledged after asking for help. The food was substandard; for example, the cordon bleu was still cold inside and the fries were undercooked. The staff lacked a welcoming atmosphere and seemed stressed.

We wanted to eat there a week ago. We were surprised to see that there were already quite a few people standing at the entrance. The reason was that there was a sign there stating that the staff would assign you a table. When it was our turn, I asked if we could sit at a free table. I pointed out to the waiter that my husband couldn't stand there that long. He explained rather rudely that the table had to be cleaned first and that we would have to wait. After a while, we were finally allowed to sit down. After some time, we were able to order. The food arrived after 40 minutes, and my food was cold. We will never eat there again. They should reconsider whether they should treat their guests like that. Unfortunately, no longer recommended. A shame.

We were at XXX-Lutz in Freiburg this afternoon, just wanting a quick bite to eat. What started as a quick wait turned into a long one. We waited over half an hour for drinks and over an hour for food. Never again!!!!

The three of us decided to grab a quick bite to eat during our stay. It took a while before we could order drinks and food. It took a while for the drinks to arrive. However, we waited an hour and 15 minutes for the food!!! Tables that arrived after us received their food much earlier. The waitress also ignored us. After an hour, we asked, but no one knew anything. When the food finally arrived (we were just about to pay for our drinks and leave), one dish had obviously been sitting ready for a while. The fries were cold, the herb butter completely melted, and the vegetables were cold and bland. There was no seasoning, neither on the fries nor the vegetables. The meat was very thin, lukewarm, and dry. At least the other people's food was fresher. But why it takes over an hour to cook fried schnitzel with fries, fries, and "pork loin steaks" with fries and frozen vegetables is beyond us. Unfortunately, it's better to give the restaurant a wide berth.

Unfortunately, I waited 40 minutes for my food because the employee I ordered from was on a break and everyone else ignored it. Since I was sitting near the bar, I overheard the employees talking to each other and refusing to serve their colleague's area—despite a colleague raising this issue several times. When I finally got my schnitzel, it was dry because it had only been kept warm during the employee's break. Never again! The employees definitely need to be trained.

Very good food, I recommend the breakfast and lunch, super good.

I went out to eat with my aunt and the whole thing was a disaster. I had grilled fish with rice and vegetables and my aunt had cevapcici with fries and ketchup. Both were carelessly presented on the plates. The fish wasn't grilled, the vegetables were frozen and unseasoned, and cold, and the cevapcici came from the deep fryer and were bone dry. I only got ketchup after asking, and after complaining about my food it didn't get any better. The service was also completely lost, which was very noticeable. Our conclusion: once and never again. The food and service wouldn't have even gotten a point, but you have to give at least one otherwise you can't post.

There were five of us dining and we had to wait an hour for our food to be ready. The conditions were completely frustrating, and there was only one person taking orders. The Hawaiian toast was COLD, so they reheated it, so we had to wait another 20 minutes. The schnitzel (which didn't taste good) and the fries, which tasted like nothing, were served with a sour and inedible cream sauce. The currywurst was also cold. For this quality, it was actually quite expensive. Any pub could do better.

The food is very good for a good price, traditional German dishes, the cakes are delicious for €3 a large slice! The waiters are English-speaking but the service is slow at lunchtime.

Okay, the soup was just a product from a packet. The flatbreads and vegetables were fresh. The spaghetti was overcooked and soapy. Wasn't the pasta water changed? That shouldn't happen to a professional chef. The waitress was extremely annoyed. She was friendly, but she didn't make you feel welcome as a guest. For these reasons, I didn't return the food. I won't be eating here again.

Nicely decorated, but unfortunately, there was only one server in charge of everything in the entire restaurant (the poor woman), which meant longer wait times, but the food was still friendly. The food was okay for the price. The schnitzels were thin, some were very greasy, and sat on top of the fries, which were overly salted, and everything was lukewarm when we got it.

Fries were cold, the rump steak was barely cooked. Overall, the taste was poor. The service was so unmotivated.

We had breakfast here and it was a great breakfast at a fair price.

For a furniture store, simply great breakfast offering, good rich lunch offering, friendly staff and best of all, great value for money, we are now regular customers.

Have had breakfast many times, always good and recommended. Lunch today: Schnitzel (dry, tasted like old boar) with fries (you had to look for them). Pumpkin soup tastes good (but lukewarm). Salad tiny portion, but tasted good. Spaghetti Bolognese, pasta totally overcooked. Every cent was one too many. Service didn't even dare to ask if it was tasty 🤣, the lady knew why...

Hello, we ate there again after years. Unfortunately the quality of the food has declined. The famous XXL Schnitzel became so thin and we could only shake our heads at the French fries. The service was nice. In the future we will look elsewhere for lunch. Price-performance is simply not enough.

So far we have always enjoyed going out to eat in the restaurant at XXXL. Unfortunately they were the last Very disappointed at times. Very long waiting time until we were served, the food was lukewarm to cold and the prices had risen significantly.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed last time because we waited over 20 minutes before we could order something, even though they told us twice they would be coming soon and then still served others who came after us. The meal took almost 30 minutes, which would have been perfectly fine if it had been warm. It's a shame, otherwise it had always been good up until now

The last time I was so ignored was when I confessed my feelings to my crush from 7b. Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the food because the waitresses seemed to be overworked and we left after a long wait because we weren't noticed despite being spoken to at the counter. More staff and better pay would probably help.

We were there on October 4th. Unfortunately, after 30 minutes of waiting, we were not served. Overall, the employees seemed overwhelmed. The table next to us had ordered and had been waiting for their food for over an hour. We then left hungry.

XXXL tries to keep loyal customers with discounts in the restaurant. This is a profit-oriented tactic. You order with a voucher - either you get a mini portion or the dish is no longer available. According to the voucher, the birthday “children” of the month receive certain dishes free of charge. If ID and voucher are shown after ordering and before payment, the staff will refuse and you will have to pay the dish. There is no politeness in the service. You don't feel like a guest. The service is unpleasant and such vouchers are no joy.

Was there for breakfast, it was very busy, but it went quickly and the service was very friendly

The duck leg was good. Only the red cabbage was lukewarm.

It's a restaurant in a shop, therefore neither expected nor required to be exceptional, which is not. It's solid, reliable gastronomy: local dishes for a reasonable price.

The service at XXL Lutz during lunch was extremely rude. First he told us we couldn't order dessert right at the start, and then five minutes later we were told to order immediately. The entire process was characterized by great unfriendliness. The service was miserable. We won't be coming back.

It's a nice change to have breakfast there. Price is also 👍 good. You just have to make sure that all the side dishes on offer are included, as they tend to get forgotten.

Very nice, attentive service! You can eat here if you want Visited furniture or car dealerships. My "soft pink fried rump steak" first came fully fried, then raw. So I ate it. Unfortunately no herb butter, but pepper sauce. Side dishes: Dry potato dips - without any dip(!) and a few pure broccoli roses.

Nice restaurant in the furniture store. The food was very tasty. The medallions were a bit small, but otherwise everything was good. The staff were very friendly despite being full.

Every time I can I have a meal at this restaurant, the food is excellent and the portions are very big. The "schnitzel" is delicious and so the cakes. Very good atmosphere.

Ich besuche regelmäßig das XXL Restaurant da ich das schnitzel echt gern esse dort. Gegen Mittag ist es meist recht voll aber das ist ja auch normal und gut so. Platz hab ich bisher immer gefunden sogar fast immer an meinem Stammtisch. Die meisten im Service kennen mich schon und wissen was und wie ich meine Bestellung wünsche und ich fühl mich immer sehr wohl da. Vorallem zu den stressigeren Zeiten wos echt voll ist sind die Wartezeit dennoch nicht außergewöhnlich lang und der Service trotz stress immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Am Essen selber hab ich nichts zu kritisieren. Das schnitzel ist eigentlich immer sehr gut. Und omg dieser schokokuchen mit eis.... Einfach ein Genuss. Ich werde definitiv weiterhin gerne kommen.

Das Restaurant im XXXLutz in Freiburg bietet solide Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist in Ordnung. Der Service war überdurchschnittlich, was hier besonders auffällt. Das Ambiente ist zweckmäßig, aber nichts Besonderes. Insgesamt eine akzeptable Option für ein einfaches Essen, aber nicht unbedingt für besondere Anlässe.

Achtung aktuell bekommt man hier nur Getränke und Kuchen, kein Essen! Laut Servicekraft ist die Lüftung der Küche defekt und die Reparatur kann bis zu 4 Wochen dauern!

Essen und Frühstück ganz OK. Aber bis man dann endlich mal bezahen darf kostet schon mal einige Nerven. Nach mehren Aufforderung hat sich die eigentlich nette und freundliche weibliche Bedienung dann nach über 10 Minuten doch noch zu uns bewegt. Der Tratsch mit dem wohl bekannten Kunden muss wohl sehr sehr wichtig gewesen sein. Wenn man solches abstellen könnte wäre es schon hilfreich.

Solides Restaurant für die Mittagspause oder wenn der Hunger beim Shoppen aufkommt. Faire Preise, Essen kam schnell und Service war aufmerksam. Geschmacklich absolut in Ordnung.

Essen lässt sehr viel Platz nach oben, Auch Systemküche kann lecker sein nur hier nicht.Service bemüht.

Damals waren die Preise besser, jetzt ist es bisschen teuer geworden. Essen schmeckt gut und empfehle es auch andere.

Alles ordentlich und sauber. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung - Essen war lecker und üppig - der Preis war für die Qualität und Menge ein Schnäppchen. Komme gerne wieder.

Sehr nette Bedienung durch Herr Kusi und Frau Filipowitsch am 28.02.23 Currywurst war klasse.

Wir sitzen geschlagene 60 min und warten auf unser Essen. Bevor wir überhaupt bestellen konnten waren bereits 30 min vorbei. Essen ist sehr gut.

Es ist halt ein Restaurant in einem Möbelgeschäft, da erwartet man keine Sterneküche. Das Schnitzel ist aber ziemlich gut, dünn geklopft und gute Panade! Essen könnte etwas heißer beim Gast ankommen, aber bei der momentanen Personalsituation kann man das verzeihen. Die heutigen 3 Herren haben einen super Job gemacht!!

Ich kann eigentlich nichts negatives sagen schnitzel und fitness salat waren sehr lecker. Bedienung war zwar sehr gestresst unterwegs aber sehr freundlich. Zudem wurde man auf wartezeiten hingewiesen was transparent war und zu genügend geduld beitrug. Ein Stern abzug gibt es für die Kunden... Es ist hoffnungslos überloffen und ständig wird man angesprochen ob man jetzt endlich aufsteht. Sehr ungeduldige oder eher unruhige Menschen sollte sich überlegen ob das was für sie ist. Ansonsten ist es mit geduld alles ok 👍

Ich bin immer top zufrieden mit dem Service und dem preiswerten Essen. Die Gerichte sind für den Preis wirklich gut und die Größe der Portionen sehr angemessen. Heute haben wir den Palatschinken mit Kirschen bestellt. Wirklich lecker.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück für 2 Personen (knapp 18 Euro).. Hätte noch 1 Brötchen mehr dabei sein müssen.. Heissgetränke werden kostenlos nachgeschenkt (auch Schoki, die überbringens sehr lecker ist) was super ist! Nur zu Empfehlen! Unser Kellner war super nett, wobei eine Kellnerin einfach, während der Kellner unsere Bestellung aufnahm, dazwischen redete! Kellner reagierte super professionell!

Super essen. Wir mussten etwas länger auf unser essen Warten. Als Ausgleich gab es ein Kaffee aufs Haus. 👍

Beim Besuch im Möbelhaus definitiv zu empfehlen, hierfür ist Qualität und insbesondere Preis-Leistung sehr in Ordnung. Portionen sind auch eher XXL.
