Restaurant much too small for a building/business of this size.. resto was full and all empty tables were dirty and were only cleaned up upon request. After sitting down, no one came, after speaking to them, the overpriced food arrived after far too long. Average - I would have preferred to eat at the burger stand in front of the building.

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and absolutely loved it! The food was not only excellent in terms of taste, but also beautifully prepared. Every bite was a delight and the ingredients were fresh and high quality. The service was also top – friendly, attentive and yet unobtrusive. The staff took time to listen to our wishes and ensured that we felt completely comfortable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and stylish, perfect for a relaxing evening. Value for money is absolutely right here and I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who values good food and excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

My first visit and also the last! Soup lukewarm, came before the drinks and only after a good 20 minutes. Service in a bad mood and short! After about 40 minutes she came with another lukewarm meal and the sentence: “I just found out that string sausages are out and therefore no children’s menu”, you can order something else! Making the children wait any longer for food wasn't an option, but the loin and spaetzle had to be eaten quickly anyway because they were only lukewarm and had to be eaten as a dish for three people! To pay by card you have to come to the counter, it's no problem; but also an indictment. After the “experience” I read through the reviews and was shocked at how many people complained about the same problems and had been doing so for weeks. Makes things even worse when you are told the problems in black and white and nothing changes!

Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour after ordering for our food. When the food finally came it was cold and unfortunately not edible. The wrong food was constantly brought to the neighboring tables. At another table the food came so quickly that drinks hadn't even been served yet. Unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. It was pure chaos here.

So today I was in the restaurant, the food wasn't particularly cold and we had to wait an hour for the food because I don't go in there anymore. There's a sausage cart downstairs that I can recommend to everyone to have something to eat there in front of the main entrance at the Beiersdorfer which was really good everything was great 👌

My wife and I went here for dinner again today after years. A lot has changed. So we both ordered zander from the grill for 15.90 euros each. So the service was very friendly, you can't complain. Waiting almost half an hour for the food is okay because the restaurant was full. The food was served with a robot. I find that impersonal. The fish was fresh and well fried, not too dry. The winter vegetables were crunchy and the rice was unfortunately cooked a little too long. Standard herb butter. The big drawback about the food was that it was completely unseasoned and therefore bland. I hate that I learned to be a chef in 1983. Adding seasoning to a meal is a no-go. Only because of people with allergies.

Our visit to the "restaurant" today was a complete disaster for us. There were three of us, two adults and one child. We had to wait 40 minutes for 2x schnitzel with fries and a salad. Yes, there was a lot going on, but if I offer the places I have to make sure it goes well. The conditions were at their limit and did their best. Then the food... We've already eaten a lot of schnitzels but these schnitzels tasted so bad that we left them and left. With a bill of 40 euros, the price-performance ratio is not right at all.

The restaurant is in a great location and view, as you get a great view through the windows on the 6th floor. Service is okay, cool that a robot also brings the food. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the food, which is the most important thing in a restaurant. Despite choosing the higher quality meat, it wasn't particularly good, nor was it nicely presented on the plate for my taste. But the worst thing was the side salad, I'm sorry to say, but that was an imposition and ended in food poisoning for me! The salad was already badly wilted, it didn't taste good at all and I can't even describe what dressing was used here because of the taste and appearance - it was very cloudy. Almost none of the salad was eaten, but it still ended in poisoning. In the future, I would ask you to at least check visually whether you can serve it like that, because that's beyond the pale, even for a well-priced restaurant! Unfortunately I can't recommend it

So first of all I would like to make it clear that this review is not aimed at every waiter. I remain objective. I've been a guest at this restaurant many times and generally never had a big problem with it. But some experiences have spoiled this experience for me and that makes me a little sad. I keep giving this restaurant more chances, but I'm disappointed every time. 1. The food is prepared carelessly and cold. You order a schnitzel with fries and get a cold schnitzel with not-so-edible fries. Unfortunately, I also had the experience that there was hair in the food, which is a total no-go. 2. The service isn't terrible, but it's not good either. With the exception of 1-2 waiters, the service is rather poor. People usually don't take you for granted and you can't expect a simple gesture of politeness like "Hello" or "Enjoy your meal" from most people here. Too bad! Questions are answered cheekily, complaints are not really addressed satisfactorily, you are just told “you should go to a different restaurant next time”. Well, maybe that's the right solution! The only decent waiters I experienced were a young man with black hair and a full beard, and Ms. Schramm. With these two you can feel comfortable, you won't be laughed at, you get what you ask for. 3. Hygiene is a total disaster. As already mentioned, there is sometimes a hair in the food, the tables are usually not cleared properly, so you sit at this table and see the leftover food from the guest in front of it. Even after asking to eliminate this, you are ridiculed and ignored. The floor is usually unclean. To draw a conclusion from this: I am sorely disappointed with the way this restaurant is run, it feels chaotic, unclean and unpleasant. At least for me, a “regular” who probably won’t be seen there that often anymore. Too bad!

Impossible! Service worker is snotty and saunters around while I sit patiently at an uncleared table for almost 30 minutes. At some point I cleared the table myself. After the good woman responded to a wave with a wave back, didn't respond at all to calls and served another table where the people came 15 minutes after me and I mentioned it, she came up cheekily: Bad luck! First we had to wait at least 15 minutes for anyone to come to our table and take our order, even though it was already 2:30 p.m. and it felt like there was a huge rush around. Drinks came quickly. Eating (1xschnitzel with fries and two currywurst with fries) again took over 30 minutes. Definitely too long for a restaurant in a department store! One man was completely forgotten. He then wanted to leave. After he gave the waiter another minute, the food came very quickly. Because of the long wait for the food, a lady took the liberty of asking why it took so long and the waitress said rather bluntly that she couldn't get the food out first if it was ready to be taken out in the kitchen. Which is true in principle, but the slowness of the ladies in service probably transferred to the kitchen or vice versa. So I wouldn't go there again, even if the food was tasty.

Unfortunately our visit was a huge disappointment. After choosing our food and drinks, we waited 15 minutes for the drinks - only then were we informed that there were no longer any fries for the dishes we ordered. As an alternative, we decided on spaetzle, but that also went wrong: after another 30 minutes of waiting, we learned that spaetzle was no longer available either. The options for changing the dish were severely limited and any adjustment would have meant double the cost for half meals. We felt like we were being cheated, especially because our children were now hungry and impatient and we had already wasted almost three quarters of an hour. When we finally gave up and had to cancel the visit, we were not offered any accommodation for the time lost or a discount. Instead we had to pay the full price of the drinks, even though we didn't end up eating and didn't drink the drinks. Overall, a very disappointing experience that we definitely wouldn't want to do here again.

My breaded schnitzel in the Jägerschnitzel had a floury aftertaste, there was a lot of salt in the parade and also on the fries. I don't have the aftertaste on my tongue now. The pork medallions were not on point, just very medium, still light red and also very tough. Absolutely not justified for the price and not enjoyable either. The bacon from the medallions probably ended up on the wrong plate, it was on mine.

Restaurant with mediocre metro quality and incredibly poor service. Ordered 4 food and drinks: - Locker offers sold out - 2 drinks received well below the calibration mark. - 3 meals received lukewarm after 1:15. Children not full of children's portion (2 and 3 years) - 4th meal canceled after 2 hours, multiple speeches, outrageous comments and 2 visits "on the 6th floor", the service center. All in all it was very unfriendly. NOT DESERVED ONE STAR! The marketing strategy that visitors leave the house happy and full doesn't work at all. NEVER AGAIN XXXL!

Long wait until friendly service finally arrived when we asked. There are probably communication problems between them when it comes to the table layout. The drink was served quickly, the meal took over 40 minutes despite asking. The sauce in the middle of my paprika schnitzel was ice cold, a complaint was made and it was remedied without any problems. In the meantime my companion had eaten and reached the freezing point of her schnitzel. Hot on the outside, frozen on the inside. The schnitzel was returned and the money was refunded. There are probably difficulties in heating frozen goods. The fries were mediocre. In total, the action took 1.5 hours, from the ordering process to the complaint and leaving the restaurant. We didn't feel like strolling through the furniture store anymore. Never again XXL restaurant

We've eaten there 3 times now. 3 times the same result. Insanely long waiting times from ordering to payment. The food itself is good, but doesn't do justice to the price. Canteen quality. The staff seems to be overwhelmed most of the time (it's always a surprise that there are more guests there on Saturday). The motivation here is therefore always a bit tense. After 3 chances, I unfortunately won't give this restaurant another chance.

We ate there today (June 1, 2024). We ordered there at 2 p.m. 2 main courses and a starter soup. After a good hour I asked if the food had been forgotten. This was denied. 5 minutes later the schnitzel and penne came. Both are obviously no longer fresh. The noodles dried out and the meat was cold. The fries are also typically “wobbly” so not fresh either. When asked about it, they said that it wasn't like that and that everything was fresh. Mistakes can happen but you should own up to them. Also stupid: I go to the front of the counter to pay by card. There I am sent back to the table with the explanation that I should pay there. When I ask the waitress to pay, I have to pay with my card again in front of me. I will definitely avoid this in the near future.

We decided to visit XXLLutz Restaurant for the first time and were extremely disappointed. We got there at 4:30pm with our child and waited to be served. We were told twice by a waitress that she would come to us shortly. When my husband asked again at 4:58pm we were told there was no more food as the restaurant was closing soon. It is outrageous and unacceptable that we were put off for so long only to be turned away in the end. We will definitely never come back and cannot recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't say anywhere that the restaurant was closed at 5 p.m.

45 Minuten leider auch diesmal keine Kaltgetränke bekommen. Bestellt hatten wir ein stilles Wasser und ein alkoholfreies Bier aus der Flasche. Die beiden Kaffee kamen bereits nach 10 Minuten, aber der Kaffee schmeckte dermaßen verbrannt und stark, sodass ich diesen als Diabetiker nicht trinken konnte, da ich weder Milch noch Zucker verwenden kann. Das war unser zweiter, aber definitiv letzter Versuch.

Leider keine gute Rezession möglich. Wir haben Kaiserschmarrn und Palatschinken bestellt nach circa 20 Minuten nach Bestellung und kurz vor der Lieferung wurde mitgeteilt das der Kaiserschmarrn ausverkauft war. Wir haben dann eine zweite Portion Palatschinken bestellt. Leider wurde diese aber dann mit Abstand von 20 Minuten zum erst bestellten Palatschinken geliefert. Dazu war die erste Portion wärmer. Die zweite war eiskalt. Leider keine gute Servicequalität. Da muss mitgedacht werden. 30 Minuten Lebenszeit und auch Einkaufszeit für das Unternehmen unsinnig verloren. Bedienung war sehr freundlich deshalb der zweite Sterne.

Wir waren am 4. Januar dort essen. Vorne weg - die Bedienung war sehr freundlich trotz der diversen Beschwerden der Gäste um uns herum. Wir haben über 1h auf unser Essen warten müssen. Was mit einem Kleinkind das hungrig ist, wirklich alles andere als angenehm war. Was die Wartezeit betrifft erging es jedoch allen um uns herum genau wie uns. Die Begründung war laut Service die volle Besetzung. Wenn ich aber daran denke das in unserem Sitzbereich Null Bewegung, sprich Gästewechsel stattfand, kann ich dieses Argument nicht verstehen. Es war kaum Gästeverkehr. Alle warteten nur... Das Essen das letztendlich kam war leider lauwarm. Geschmacklich aber gut. Das muss man sagen. Mehr System in dieser Gastronomie wäre schön und notwendig.

Für Kinder richtig schön. Essen trotz leerem Restaurant 2h Wartezeit bis essen kommt. Ein trinken bestellen ca 35min bis jemand überhaupt an den Tisch kommt. Essen in Ordnung. Bin das erste mal eher durch das Bedürfnis etwas Essen zu müssen im Restaurant gelandet und war positiv überascht. War inzwischen schon mehrfach nur zum Mittagessen hier und werde auch wiederkommen. Das Essen ist nichts besonderes, der Service freundlich bemüht aber meist Überlastet und das Ambiente vermittelt eher Kantinenfeeling. Aber das Essen ist seinen Preis wert und im Regelfall auch in angemessener Zeit serviert. Eine sehr gute Alternative zu den immer spärlicher werdenden Mittagstischen.

Wäre der Service vorhanden, hätte ich vier Sterne gegeben aber wir waren jetzt schon 2x vor Ort und jedes Mal wartet man ewig auf den Service, es fehlt jedes Mal was, keiner räumt den Tisch ab und man kann auch nichts mehr bestellen wenn man nicht aktiv an die Theke geht. Vorheriges Modell mit Selbstbedienung war definitiv besser. Das Frühstück ist aber immer gut und preislich top. Wir kommen um in Ruhe zu frühstücken und die Kinder spielen zu lassen. Wobei man den kinderbereich auch mal wieder etwas auffrischen könnte, viel kaputtes in dem Raum, die Tür bleibt nicht mehr offen sodass man einen Stuhl rein stellen muss damit die Kinder selbstständig rein und raus können und der Wickelraum ist jedes mal so furchtbar kalt, dass man sein Kind gar nicht ausziehen möchte.

Die Wartezeiten am 27.05.2023 bis zur Bedienung, dem Essen, zahlen, etc. war nicht gut und der Service nicht vorhanden. Selbst unsere „Spezi“ war alles andere aber keine Spezi und dementsprechend auch nicht gut. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war tatsächlich viel zu klein und wirkte eher nach einem Brätchen und ist für 18€ absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Genauso wie bei meinem Schweinefilet-Pfännle schmeckte die Soße fad und künstlich. Sie war auch eher schleimig. Mein Speck hätte auch ruhig angebraten sein können. Ansonsten waren die Gerichte an sich in Ordnung. Sie sehen allerdings optisch viel besser aus als sie schmecken, so dass der Schein trügt. Der Beilagensalat war gut und ich war sogar mit dem Salatherz beglückt. Zum Nachtisch gab es für mich den Kaiserschmarrn. Dieser war unglaublich lecker, aber der beigefügte Obstsalat sehr warm. In Zukunft wäre dieser in kalt wohl die bessere Variante. Meine Begleitung wollte einen Kuchen, doch dieser war angeblich schon ausverkauft. Daraufhin bot die Bedienung einen Kuchen mit Mandarinen an, brachte aber einen Kuchen mit Aprikosen an den Tisch. Zum Schluss fiel uns auch noch auf, dass von dem Kuchen, den meine Begleitung ursprünglich wollte, noch zu genüge in der Kuchenecke stand. Das war natürlich unglaublich ärgerlich. Für alles zusammen mussten wir einen Betrag von 65 € zahlen und damit lässt sich nur sagen, dass es hier mit Abstand viel zu teuer ist bzw. das Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis absolut nicht stimmig ist. Wir hatten mehr erwartet.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, leider etwas laut und zu Stoßzeiten völlig überlaufen, zumal viele der Tische dann für die XXXL-Mitarbeiter reserviert sind (verständlich, aber trotzdem für die Kundschaft ätzend). Supertoll ist, dass es einen Bedienservice gibt. Kein nerviges Anstehen an einem Buffet. Die Preise sind gut und, falls noch Rabattgutscheine genutzt werden, unschlagbar günstig. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber gut ausreichend. Frühstück gibt es ebenfalls. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert. Nachtrag: Frühstück soll jetzt - laut Karte - auch glutenfrei erhältlich sein, aber leider sind keine Brötchen verfügbar gewesen. Entweder muss das Management dafür sorgen, dass stets glutenfreie Produkte auf Lager sind oder diese müssen von der Speisekarte verschwinden! Sehr enttäuschend.

Im 5. Stockwerk vom XXXL befindet sich das Restaurant mit einer schönen Glasfront. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Hier gibt es sowohl warme Speisen als auch Kuchen und Kaltspeisen. Für die kleinen Gäste gibt es Kindergerichte und einen tollen Kinderspielbereich. Dieser Bereich wird allerdings nicht überwacht, es wird keine Betreuung angeboten. Jedoch sind Tische direkt in diesem Bereich aufgestellt, sodass man seine Kids immer im Auge hat. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich sehr gut wir finden es nur wirklich schade dass immer die schönen Plätze am Fenster abgeriegelt sind das schon seit Monaten. Auch wenn Personalmangel besteht könnte man die Plätze Richtung Aufzug absperren und die anderen offen halten.... Oder gibt's da einen anderen Grund warum wir Gäste uns nicht an die Fenster setzen dürfen

I don't know exactly what did I order? Karahi Gosht or karahi onion!!! There were only 5 pieces of meat in it.

Bad value for money. Service is ok, wines are good. But sorry, €65 per person for a canteen meal, it's not worth it! Decoration was nice but music didn't fit with the theme.
