Super nice Hotpot in Düsseldorf, definitely recommended. Please note, be sure to reserve in time, as there are rarely places available on the same day. Or you can wait a long time for a seat. The food was of high quality! The service couldn't answer every question about the food, which is a bit of a shame. We were also served food which was for another table, which they only discovered much later. We didn't touch it, and it just went to the other table without any further comments... That was strange to see, especially for hygienic reasons... But anyway, overall definitely worth 4 out of 5 stars . If the staff knew a little more about the menu and where the food submitted came from, I would give them 5 stars... Did you know that this is mandatory in Switzerland? Tell us where your food comes from? And if you don't know what you're eating, it looks like a seller doesn't know what he's actually selling...

The quality is poor and the taste is not good either. And almost 100€ for 2 people is way too much. You have to try it, but unfortunately it is not recommended. You get one star for the service

It was my first time eating hot pot and it was so delicious! I can't decide if this is genuine or not. Of course, they also have non-spicy flavors, so even those who don't like spicy food can easily go here. The sauce is self-serve and you can mix it yourself, but the staff didn't explain anything about it and I didn't learn about the sauce until a little while after I ate it, so I was disappointed with the service.

The atmosphere is totally authentic. The service staff was very friendly, everything was explained to us calmly, even though it was very busy in the restaurant. We chose a chilli broth and a beef broth. The chilli broth is very spicy!!!! And we already got the chilli broth for the European palate.) It was still too spicy for us and we tolerate spiciness well. In total you can choose between 5 broths. You then order your ingredients using a tablet - there is something for everyone. There were four of us there, but unfortunately we found the seating a bit too cramped. The chopsticks for eating are longer than you're used to, so we had a bit of trouble at the beginning with getting the ingredients out of the wok. You can then also take cutlery. In terms of price, the restaurant is ok, not cheap but not too expensive either! Recommendation - reserve in advance! We were there during the week and it was really completely full!!

Even though the food is relatively expensive, you have to say that it is definitely worth eating here! There is a wide selection of finger foods, meat, vegetables, seafood and desserts. The restaurant is also very nicely decorated and the service is great!!

Actually everything was really great! We will definitely come again but… We were a large group (10) and no one had had hot pot before. This made it a complete mess! The service should have introduced us a little better as they also knew it was our first time there. I can still recommend the store 100%. But I would definitely recommend that if you go out for hot pot for the first time, you definitely come with a smaller group, otherwise it will just be chaotic and confusing.

Insanely good hotpot with a great concept. Reservation is not always super easy - due to the language barrier - but usually nothing works without a reservation. But it's worth it.

Come eat here often. The food comes to the table super quickly, which is a big plus. You can put together the dips yourself at the self-service bar. The broths are all very flavorful and delicious. Personally, I like the tomato broth best. You can order everything on one tablet and reorder later if necessary, which is super practical. The quality of the food is pretty good and there is almost everything you need for hotpot. Empty plates are cleared away immediately and hot water is quickly refilled. There are still a few points of criticism: We once ordered tofu leaves. But we got what looks like tofu skin in the picture. We then told the staff that we got the wrong one, but the staff assured us that they were tofu leaves. For one thing, we had already ordered this and we KNOW it doesn't look like that. On the other hand, the product does not look anything like the product image on the tablet, which would be consumer deception. We were very disappointed with the service that day. Otherwise the service is very good. Not all of the staff can speak German. Some of the benches are too high so that you bump your thighs against the table and you almost always have to get up to get the food out of the hot pot broth. You pay between €30 and €50 per person (depending on how many people you are dining with). Whether you want to pay the high price for hot pot is up to you.

As 4 core Germans, we ate HotPot for the first time and everything was explained in a very friendly manner and recommendations were made for HotPot beginners. Even when we stood lost in front of the dip counter, we were very kindly and attentively explained and recommended what we could mix and how. It was a super super super great, delicious and relaxed experience at a very fair price. The experience, the taste and above all the service were outstanding, always a pleasure!

Thanks to the orders, the visit is also compatible with a vegan diet. The food we had was very tasty!

We love Xiao Long Kan and come here to eat often. It's not cheap, but the quality of the ingredients is good. The broth is really tasty. If you can't eat that spicy, you should use European spicy. We have already been to a few hotpot shops in Düsseldorf and no other shop has convinced us so far. The employees are all nice here. I just think it's a bit excessive to charge €3 for the sauces. So often you don't even buy sauces to get the price right. Due to the high price of the individual ingredients, I would have liked this to be included. Nevertheless we will come back

Great Chinese fondue experience. Huge menu of meats, fish and shellfish, the fondue bowl with 3 different soups. Great to do with several people, very friendly. A sauce bar where you make your own sauce, following the recommended recipes or not... really great, to do if you are in the area.

My daughter chose this restaurant. It was both of our first experiences with the hot pot “principle”. We definitely ordered too much, as the portions are extremely generous, but at the same time served a bit carelessly. The ingredients are brought to the table either raw or frozen. Smearing and staining yourself is inevitable with the hot pot method. You can also easily burn your tongue or lip. You should bring a lot of time and go to Xiao Long Kan with more than two people if you really want to get your money's worth. At least that was my daughter's conclusion. I find 130 euros for two people to be grossly overpriced. Overall, it was definitely a special experience and a completely new experience, which undoubtedly also had its pitfalls. The restaurant in question is obviously very popular in certain circles in Düsseldorf.

It wasn't my first time there :) Xiaolongkan is always worth a visit. If you are looking for something special and like fondues, this is exactly the right place; very authentically decorated like in original China. The food not only looks great but also tastes incredibly delicious. Everything is perfectly coordinated and the service is also 1A. Everything is very well organized and even if the queue outside is long, things move quickly and the anticipation of the visit increases. The waitresses are always friendly and accommodating. My friends and I enjoy spending our Saturdays in this restaurant and are already looking forward to the next time!

This was our first HotPot experience. We were nicely instructed on how it works. The orders arrived quickly thanks to the ordering with tablet and a cute, driving cat robot that brings orders. The soup pots are embedded in the table and are kept constantly warm via induction. You can choose between 1, 2, 3 and 4 basic moves. These are then separated from each other using inserts. There are e.g. Mushroom, bone and tomato broth. Then you can choose inserts such as various vegetables, mushrooms, tofu, fish and meat. These are large but also quite expensive. You then add them each to the broth and wait. Everyone has a small plate and there are 2 ladles, one for the ingredients and one for the broth. We ate vegan, there were different types of tofu preparations (fried, frozen, regular), but they all tasted pretty similar. For 4 vegan people we paid a total of around €122 including drinks and an extra side dish. All in all a good restaurant. The only improvements would be different flavors of tofu or more vegetable variations and the benches were so high that the table pressed into everyone's thighs.

Something completely new! Get a seat in the restaurant after a little wait. It's steaming and boiling everywhere. Sometimes a robot accompanies you to the place. There is a short introduction and you can order everything using your iPad. There are several broths that you can order and the meat and vegetables you order sizzle. Basically fondue in Chinese. A real experience. The chilli broth is brutally hot.🌶️ The shop is authentic and the employees have everything under control.

Unfortunately I wasn't quite convinced. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is very nice. Unfortunately I didn't like the ingredients as much. In addition, the cooking time is missing for many ingredients. At 188cm, the table is far too deep for me, so I could hardly sit. Unfortunately the toilets were very dirty.

The wooden benches take some getting used to. Not so good for people with back problems. Service was good and the ambience too. Huge selection of food. Feel free to come again.

An experience! Food is freshly prepared at the table in the HotPott. Very diverse range of side dishes from vegetables to all kinds of meat and fish. Or different types of tofu. I can only recommend it! Extremely friendly staff and simply a great atmosphere!
