Large portions and everything was very tasty. Ordering was easy via tablet and reordering was also very easy. The food and drinks came quickly. It takes two to three hours to eat, but it's definitely worth it. ☺️

A great store in itself, but be careful with vouchers! A reduced validity limited to 1 year almost makes life difficult. With little goodwill and a reminder (one month expired), our voucher was still accepted. You really don't make friends here. Because of the small but unpleasant discussion, we probably won't come back straight away.

The overall rating shows that this is a great store. And today I was finally able to see it for myself. Food, service, ambience, clean bathroom. Nothing was missing apart from the seat back. Okay, the carpet up the stairs could be changed again, but something like that isn't worth a star.

A meal with mixed experiences. There were four of us and we ordered and used three different basic sauces and broths. First of all - the "medium" spicy is very spicy for us Europeans. So it's better to start with the less spicy broth - if at all. The concept has already been sufficiently described here. Unfortunately, from our point of view, the quality of the meat was not such that we would have smiled at ourselves with a “tasty” after cooking. Only the chicken met our expectations even after cooking. In my opinion, there is no option to fill the sauces into smaller bowls and on a Friday evening there was so much hustle and bustle that it got really crumbly around the sauce station. That didn't look so nice. In the back part (tables of 30) it was quite drafty at this time of year and mold was sprouting in the lamp above the hot pot. Well, with the humidity. Maybe you should change the lampshades here. The robot that brings you food is really cute. The food with noodles and vegetables is absolutely delicious, as I said, so-so with meat. The atmosphere is nice, but somehow everything is very simple, open and despite the decoration, it has a canteen touch, especially because of the commotion. A solid three stars should be enough here, especially since we paid around 200 EUR for four people - without really drinking much. The price/performance ratio no longer corresponds to “hot soups”. Personally, I won't be going there anymore, if you love it, you'll find a solid location here.

A visit to Xia Long Kan is definitely an experience! Here modern technology meets traditional hotpot culture – an exciting combination. What's particularly cool is that the drinks are served by a robot, while you can put together your own mix at the sauce bar. The food was delicious and the whole evening was really fun. A little note: You definitely take the spicy scent home with you - but that's just part of the hotpot experience. Clear recommendation for anyone who wants to try something special!

The restaurant is great. Great ambience and lots of space. We were able to put the jackets in containers so that they wouldn't absorb any smell. Then it was time to choose the hot pot broths and side dishes. A service cat bot brings the drinks. Totally sweet! We had three stages and were initially overwhelmed with the handling, but that quickly changed. A special experience!

A fantastic ambience, great insights into Chinese food culture and a pleasant exchange with the other guests at the event gave us a wonderful evening. Always my pleasure!

Great experience. I thought I was a strong white man and went for the medium spicy broth, but soon realised it was too spicy for me. Melvin who was serving our table came to save the day and took out some chilies and made the broth milder. 10/10 will come back

At €35 per person (average of 6 people) and 1-2 drinks (water, soda, 2 beers), everyone has to decide for themselves whether preparing the ingredients is worth it. The guests do the cooking themselves. It is very well attended by Asian people, which can be seen as an acceptance and quality bonus. We liked it a lot. An exotic experience gastronomy with employment. The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambience is tasteful and not kitschy or cheap. Only the dessert ice cream, 1 scoop of Mövenpick with spray cream, remains in memory as overpriced (€4.80). This is Sylt cheaper 😄

The best hot-spot restaurant far and wide. A huge selection, especially for vegans! Of course it is a little more expensive and you should expect around 80 euros for two people, but it is worth the price.

A trip to the Middle Kingdom - that's how you can describe an evening at Xiao Long Kan. You will be warmly welcomed here and shown to your table. We had reserved and were given a table in a booth surrounded by a Chinese wooden compartment. The restaurant is authentically decorated. The advice the first time was excellent. Especially because we chose a two-broth hotpot. One of the broths should be a little spicier, and the service also helped with this decision, as there are different levels of spiciness that you can choose from. The prices for the ingredients are absolutely fair and are brought to the table in high quality using a robot or personally. You can put together sauces individually at a sauce counter, but you can also get help with putting them together using picture cards. The only minor drawback that can be mentioned is that the decoration, especially the fake plants and some corners on the walls, are full of dust, which would definitely have to be cleaned more often if the air in the room is humid due to the hot pots. But apart from these small drawbacks, we will definitely visit this restaurant again and can only recommend it to everyone. Thank you for the great evening. Big praise for the outstanding service.

I really wonder who can eat this awful food?? I have eaten Chinese food many times in nice restaurants, but I find this particular one unacceptable for what it provides. It is no coincidence that my country, Greece, came first in the world in terms of food! First of all, the service in this restaurant was unacceptable from the first waitress who promised us, who did not explain to us beyond that we would have to cook everything ourselves, everything should only be boiled in a soup!😡 She told us that first of all we have to choose soup without explaining to us that everything is cooked there. and then he never came to ask us if we need anything or if everything is fine.. He also told us that we should order 6-9 dishes at least because that's how much is needed for two people, which we did and in the end there were too many dishes and clearly two people couldn't eat them all. The plate with the vegetables which were like plastic and tasteless they cost 13€, they were some huge lettuces that didn't I know the reason why I would want to eat all this which was not even a salad. Secondly and very important. no one informed us that we should store our coats in baskets so that they don't get destroyed by the incredible smell of cooking our supposed food. you need a special cleaner.. Only the meter was kind and helpful, the one who came and tried to explain to us how you can cook by putting the meats in the soup to boil, but just as when he saw that my white shirt was dirty, he took off my white shirt and gave me a pair of cooking aprons to wear the waitress should have done it first who served us and had informed us about all this. Thirdly, the cost was very expensive for what they provide. €100 for two people to eat two dishes of vegetables and 300 grams of raw meat that you have to cook is too expensive. Fourthly, everything I tried was tasteless without anything special and even the sauce you would choose you had to know how to make it yourself. Great restaurant but also very expensive! Between 45-50€ per person You have to take this into account. (Adults) everything is charged extra (sauces, spices, etc.) The service was excellent and we had a great evening.

The ambience is of course amazing. The food is quite nice, but poor value for money. It's nice to have done this, but there's nothing particularly good in terms of taste that would justify the relatively high cost.

Back in Düsseldorf and in the freezing, sub-zero temperatures, there's nothing better than a hot, steaming hot pot! At Xiao Long Kan we opted for Chinese hot pot – and as always, it was wonderful. The ingredients are fresh, the broths are incredibly flavorful, and the atmosphere is perfect for a cozy cold-weather meal. A real highlight for cold days – I can only recommend it!

My first hot pot ever and for sure not the last one. I loved the whole experience and food was delicious. Friendly staff and great interior made the whole Dinner just perfect. I will return for sure.

This is a very large and therefore unfortunately very noisy restaurant. If you want to eat in peace and chat, you should look for another restaurant. For the size, however, the service and kitchen are excellently organized, very attentive and very friendly. The ingredients that can be selected for the hotpot are extremely diverse and all very fresh. The price-performance ratio is very good. The large number of guests of Asian origin also shows that the cuisine is not “Germanized”. I really liked it and I'll be back.

An interesting experience eating hot pot. Not cheap, but the food was good. Something different than classic restaurants. Because broth is cooked at every table, all the clothes smell afterwards (you have to plan for that). We'll definitely do it again

Absolutely loved this hotpot restaurant! The broth was SO good. I had the tomato, mushroom and spicy broth and it was still flavourful even after refilling the broths. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely come back here.

So…ambience downstairs great! However, we sat upstairs and yes, the ceiling was completely brown...well, but the toilets were very clean! The staff was very friendly! However, it was our first time and we had zero experience. There was no proper instruction and we actually had no idea how it worked. How you put together such a sauce and why, how the food is cooked and what combination you use was also a mystery to us. Yes, there is a top 20 and yes, the minutes are listed for every food, but having to look everything up again and again and remember everything is complicated and tedious as a newbie when you are simply hungry. At the table next to us we noticed that there was also a sieve for pasta and a pair of tongs (just ask). This information would be great at the beginning, especially for beginners! Conclusion: it wasn't for me. Just hot and tiring. But if you know what you have to do, then it's definitely great! And the quality of the food was super fresh!

Our experience at Hotpot Xiao Long Kan was wonderful from start to finish! Upon arrival we were kindly helped. We had to wait a while, but that was explained clearly and neatly. Then we were taken to a super cute table, perfect for the two of us. Everything was also incredibly clean! Ordering was very easy via an iPad. We chose three types of soup: bone broth, spicy and tomato. My favorite was the tomato soup, while my friend liked the spicy soup the most. 🌶️ 🍅 In terms of ingredients, we enjoyed Australian wagyu, lamb rolls, different types of tofu, crispy buns with condensed milk, dumplings and much more. Everything was fresh and delicious! A nice extra was the sauce station, where you could create your own dipping sauce – a really nice touch. 🥩🍜🥟🥢 In short, this was a fantastic experience. If we are in Düsseldorf again, we will definitely come back here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We went there for the first time today without a reservation and on a public holiday and yet we only had to wait 10 minutes and the experience was unique. The food tastes incredibly good. The meat is very tender. The service is as good as I have ever experienced anywhere else. We are thrilled

It's outrageous. I called to make a reservation and said the time was fine. When I arrived, I was told that there were no seats and that they were closed. Even though we had already made a reservation, they said that the new employee made a mistake. We drove for two hours and came over and said sorry. Customers have to bear the responsibility for their employees' mistakes. I have been here many times before and will never come again. I have never seen such a bad store.

This time I went there and it didn’t feel as delicious as before~ The red pot was a bit too greasy, it felt too oily, and my stomach was not very comfortable after eating too much. 2 stars is not because it tastes bad, it just doesn’t meet my expectations. What an amazing lunch I had today at Xiao Long Kan in Düsseldorf! I couldn't make a reservation due to no available slot, and then I decided to walk in. From the moment I walked in, the staff were so welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The hot pot was absolutely fantastic—everything was so fresh and flavorful, and the broth was just perfect! The restaurant itself has such a warm and cozy vibe with beautiful traditional decor that really adds to the experience. It felt like a little trip to Sichuan! If you love hot pot or just want to try something new and delicious, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back for another round of that amazing hot pot. Highly recommend it!

The ambience is great and eating the hot pot itself is an experience that I can only recommend to everyone. The staff was friendly but a bit distant. Overall, the price-performance ratio just wasn't quite right for me. To start, you put together an order using a tablet. You choose the broths and ingredients such as meat, vegetables or snacks. Unfortunately, some things cost disproportionately to the quality and quantity. The quality of the chicken in particular was definitely not convincing and was simply too expensive. A 0.33l cola also costs €4.50 So we ended up with 120€ with two people

A Chinese restaurant, they bring broth (there is a choice), which is heated in front of you and you order various raw products from the menu. You cook it yourself, which is as inconvenient as possible. Each product has its own cooking time, to find out how much to cook, each time you have to look for the cooking time in the menu tablet. It’s very tiring, you feel like a chef at work, and not a client who came to relax. It is very difficult to find “your food” in the broth, it is inconvenient to take it out, there are no separate large plates where you could put your dish - there are only small bowls on the tables. There is no dressing room, you go to your table in your jacket, after which, of course, all your outer clothing smells like it came from the dining room. Chopsticks are not disposable, I recommend bringing your own. Not impressed, I don't recommend it. Maybe it's like a new experience.

Yummy!!! We had three broths, plus beef, chicken, homemade noodles, stuffed noodles, mixed mushrooms, mixed vegetables. There is a sauce bar where you can put together toppings. All dishes come raw (everything is top fresh) and you cook them yourself in the Dutch oven. We thought it was really tasty and the service was great. The experience was worth the price for us and we went home full and satisfied.

Food and service are very good. Hot pot is really tasty and fun. Ideal for smaller groups. Walking distance to the main station and two parking garages around the corner.

Was there at lunchtime. The service is courteous, but you don't have a permanent contact person and you have to pay attention to yourself. Ingredients were all very fresh. But soups take some getting used to for me. Unfortunately, the meatballs were way too firm and tasteless. Wagyu was ok, very tender, but I found it lacked a bit of the typical flavor. Spicy beef, as well as the homemade noodles and fried rice with egg are highly recommended.

The staff was also attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience!

We were a large group, sitting in a private room - that was very nice. The food waa excellent, it’s super tasty and you can add additional flavours through their special spice buffet. I loved ordering, it was modern and super quick. It’s not a fine dining experience, however excellent choice for a casual, fun and experimental dinner.

We recently had the opportunity to visit this Chinese restaurant that specializes in hot pot and it was an absolute highlight! It was our first time to try hot pot and we were grateful for the friendly staff who patiently instructed us and explained everything in detail. The quality of the ingredients was excellent, everything was served fresh and quickly. The attentiveness and willingness to help of the entire team was particularly impressive - a big thank you to Jo, the branch manager, who made the evening even more special with his warm manner and nice conversation. Another highlight was definitely the serving robot – a charming addition to the experience! But what really blew us away was the restaurant's decor. It is incredibly authentic and creates an atmosphere that makes the visit an experience. Just wow! We are already looking forward to our next visit. I got food poisoning there and couldn't eat anything else for a week afterwards. I haven't felt as bad as I did after visiting this store in a long time.

Visiting Xiao Long Kan was a spontaneous but very successful decision. Our small group of 4 had a great time eating a huge hot pot of Asian soup. Separately I would like to highlight the staff, who were very friendly and polite. Our waitress was Tanya, who told us the tastiest dishes to go with the soup and put us at ease. Perfect!

Food: The soup selection is sufficient, not too much, not too little and there is something for everyone. We had 3 different soups, we can definitely recommend the tomato and chilli soup - they were both super tasty, better be a little careful with chilli, it had a lot of fire 🌶👍 which is good though. The Champions soup wasn't as tasty in comparison, but this was compensated for by the varied selection at the buffet (spices and sauces). The menu includes a large selection of meat, fish and vegetables. Our selection seemed very fresh and also tasted delicious. For those who would like to eat something unusual, there is a large selection of Chinese cuisine. Our tip: Offer sample portions for very specific dishes, otherwise a lot will be discarded if it doesn't taste good. Conclusion: Super fresh, super tasty. Service: The waiters were very nice and accommodating, dirty dishes were cleared away quickly, food and drinks always came to the table very quickly. Food, drinks and even the waiters could be called and ordered via a tray. Ambience: We particularly liked that we had our own area and therefore more privacy. The restaurant has a traditional Chinese atmosphere, which we really liked. Conclusion: This was definitely not our last visit.

This week we had hot pot here. This is a simmering broth (can be seasoned in different ways) into which various raw ingredients such as meat, seafood, vegetables and mushrooms are dipped directly at the table. Everyone can decide what they would like. It tasted great and was also very sociable. I can fully recommend it and this restaurant too. Everyone was friendly. The drinks were delivered very quickly and ordering is done via tray. One star deducted from the ambience because you smell like food afterwards.

Unfortunately we had to wait in line for quite a long time despite having a reservation. Location very nice and cozy! The food and its quality were also very good. Only the bone and tomato broth could have been spicier and it would be nicer if you could order the individual sauces as the sauce buffet was extremely full.
