I've been here several times now. I've never been disappointed. The quality of the food is perfect, the selection is great... When staffing levels are short, the service has taken longer, but never rushed or unfriendly. I recommend trying a different kind of Asian food from the buffet... and I think it's cool to have the charm of a former industrial hall.

Today we had lunch at XIAO for the first time in a long time, and it was the best buffet we've ever eaten there. 5***** Apparently, there was a major change in staff, and that was very beneficial for the restaurant. 5***** for the friendly staff. Good and, above all, well-organized selection. The food for the buffet is kept warm in containers that are not too large and are therefore very strong. Food is replenished quickly and is therefore always fresh and tasty. Despite the relatively full house, no traffic jams or battles at the buffet.

I don't eat meat anymore, but even then, I think the selection is decent. For non-vegetarians, I highly recommend the salmon with vegetables, and the carpaccio is also top-notch. Lisa served us; fantastic service. She was there quickly, whether you called her via the app or waved. She also recommended an iced tea/lemonade that I wouldn't have ordered otherwise, and I was quite happy that she did because it was absolutely delicious. Thanks again to Lisa for the great service 🫶🏻 P.S. Don't overfill your plate, just eat a little at a time :)

The food was delicious and plentiful. The signage was a bit confusing, and during the live cooking, not everything I had put on my plate was on the plate. My shrimp was missing afterward. However, there were also items that didn't appear on the plate. We didn't think the techno music was particularly appropriate. We would still come back.

We ate there as a family and were impressed by the selection and quality. The buffet is well-stocked and offers a wide variety for vegetarians and vegans. Everything was very freshly prepared. The dessert buffet is so varied that everyone will find something they like. The drinks we ordered arrived at our tables within a minute, and the staff were very friendly. Prices vary depending on age and time of day; we paid around €90 for four people.

We ate at Xiao last Thursday to celebrate our 18th birthday. Unfortunately, we were given incorrect information when we made our reservation, and they did it again a week earlier when we called and inquired. We wanted the large buffet with spare ribs, carpaccio, etc., and were disappointed to find the buffet very limited. It's bad when we have guests with us who aren't much into Asian cuisine, and we've been praising the delicious spare ribs. There were mostly all sorts of dishes with chicken/duck and only one with beef. And the beef was overpowered by onions. You had to hunt for the beef. Unfortunately, the fish selection wasn't great either. The freshly prepared fish only served small scampi. We used to enjoy going there, but this time we weren't impressed.

Hello everyone, We ate here the other day. The food was typical "all you can eat" with the added bonus of having a vanilla and a chocolate fountain. 10/10 The fruit had strange white hairs in it, which prevented me from eating strawberries, which I found very disappointing. 4/10 The service staff were also friendly and accommodating. They frequently asked if we needed anything else. So, that was good, too, except for the fact that we got drinks we hadn't ordered, but then they gave them to us for free. 7/10 A 0.75 liter water costs almost €10, whether sparkling or not, which I find extortionate. Even in Düsseldorf, at reputable restaurants, I pay a maximum of €7-8 for a 0.75 liter or 1 liter. 3/10 However, various items should be inspected by the TÜV, as the photo shows. 0/10 I hope this helps and enjoy your meal.

The food is good and freshly prepared. Waldemar is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is a bit reminiscent of a cafeteria and is relatively loud.

We've been to Xiao several times now and have always been fascinated by the variety of dishes. There really is something for everyone. Last weekend, we were there with 14 people, and everyone really enjoyed it. And the server, Key, was super nice and attentive. Thank you so much, we'd love to come back.

We had a great meal; you won't miss a thing here. The buffet is very well-stocked and clean. The staff are friendly, and the ambiance is modern. For my taste, it's too big, noisy, and feels a bit like a large cafeteria. But the good food and modern decor make this bearable. What could possibly be improved is the drink service; it takes too long to order. Perhaps simply offer drink orders via tablets? We'd be happy to come back. Update: The ordering service has been supplemented by an app, so now there's nothing to complain about. Update: After a good year and several more visits, I have to be a bit more critical. In my opinion, the quality has declined somewhat, and the cleanliness and availability at the buffet weren't as usual on my last visit. Please don't let up. :-|

The service also deserves great praise - very nice, smiling, helpful and very professional. What's more, there's a brilliant solution - the ability to order drinks or call a waiter directly from your phone! 💡 Super comfortable and modern. The buffet prices have changed; until 4:00 PM everything is quite affordable at €16.90... But honestly, from 4:00 PM onwards the fun costs €26.90... The changed buffet in no way justifies a €10 price increase... The food was tasty, but that was it... There really wasn't anything special on the menu, and therefore I don't think the price-performance ratio is appropriate... Everything was fine before 4:00 PM, but after that it's not worth the money in my opinion.

I didn't like the food. The meat was lukewarm, if anything; I had several meat dishes, but unfortunately, none were hot. The service was very friendly, nothing to complain about. The ambiance was nice. Nevertheless, we won't go there again; it's just not our taste.
