Awesome location. Super clean and pleasant. Drinks 10/10, and the food isn't your average all-you-can-eat. Everything in a really fresh place to fill up your lunch. My only criticism is that the drinks sometimes take a really long time to arrive. Two plates were smashed, and then my iced tea arrived.

The atmosphere is great, but the quality of the food has declined over the years. The hot dishes are quite good, but the sushi, for example, isn't very appetizing, and the salmon doesn't really taste like anything. The dessert is too sweet, and the ice cream isn't particularly tasty. We recommend putting together your own raw food plate and having it cooked in a wok.

The interior is nice and modern - there's also seating outside, but I think it can be quite noisy there, as you're just a few meters from a highway. You have to like the food...the dessert counter was really good, though, including fresh fruit (strawberries, etc., although it sold out pretty quickly). Unfortunately, there were very few staff for so many seats, which led to long waits to order drinks. The app wasn't working that day. I think the price is reasonable, but as I mentioned, the food on offer wasn't my cup of tea. It's definitely worth another try.

Xiao now exists in many cities. This is definitely one of the best. There is ample parking on-site. The welcome and service are prompt and friendly. The ambiance is appealing, and the menu, typical of Xiao, is extensive, delicious, and there's something for everyone. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has a well-maintained accessible restroom that meets all barrier-free requirements.

We think it's great. We've been here four or five times now, and it's always been great. Unfortunately, the service is often overwhelmed or overworked, and as a result, some orders don't arrive. But all the employees are always very nice and friendly. We keep coming back.

A modern Asian restaurant with a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet just outside of Krefeld. The system is exactly the same as other branches of this chain, so there's no overlap. Apparently, drink orders and server calls can be made via QR code, but it only worked partially for us. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and the restrooms were clean. There was ample parking.

I'm not a fan of these food chains, but I have to say: the food is delicious and fresh. They even have a cooking station where the food is freshly prepared. I'll be back, but then I'll definitely need a bigger plate. 😂😂

We went there for lunch. As vegetarians, we were well catered for. Unfortunately, the meat dishes were either not replenished or were replenished very slowly. The same was true of side dishes like fried noodles. Pots that were supposed to contain beef contained only onions and sauce. And so it went on... It was our first and last time there.

For dessert today, we had peaches (preserved, so definitely from a can), which is really no problem. But when I put a piece in my mouth, it was very unpleasantly sour. I smelled them and knew they were bad. So I went to the bar staff and told them. I didn't get a second look, just the terse reply that he knew it was freshly restocked today and that he would take care of it. The peaches were then gone from the buffet. But the lump in my throat remained, and I decided to go back to the gentleman and tell him that I was sorry that he made me feel like I was making it all up. He didn't look at me at all while I was speaking, but continued putting the glasses away. And he said, "Well, now the peaches are gone." Thank you for the appreciation and the apology 🤔 I honestly think it's a shame, and all I wanted to do was point it out nicely.

The freshest sushi, sashimi you can find in Germany! Very clean and all pots are from Le Creuset. Great service. Drinks are very expensive but when you calculate the food price, it’s still worth it. Public transportation is kind of not good.

Will I get my deposit back for the to-go container if I return it at some point in the future? After today's disappointment (a lot of rice, a few mushrooms, and a lot of mushy bok choy), I don't want to buy anything from you again. Yes, I asked for vegetarian options, but it wasn't worth the price.

I'm not really a big fan of Asian buffet restaurants. But my family loves them. This time, it was Xiao. Wow, the modern look really impressed me. No tons of decorations like lamps, etc. I got a nice table. The service was very friendly. And the buffet was completely different from what I'm used to. A great and good selection that goes beyond the norm. I'd be happy to go back.

Good price-performance ratio, lots of choice

This was our third time at Xiao Krefeld. We were pleasantly surprised; the food was very tasty and the selection was extensive. The restaurant is a bit large and noisy, but you can handle it. There's certainly something for everyone. Plenty of parking is available. We'll be back.

Everyone's tastes differ, and it doesn't suit ours. The more crowded the place (450 seats inside alone), the lower the quality. We were greeted with the phrase, "Hey, better order large drinks, we don't come that often." We don't blame the service for that! And if you're looking to work up a sweat, the window facade is a good place to be. No blinds and hardly any air conditioning.

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food... I only went to this restaurant to use the restroom... the ambiance is very appealing, and I'm very impressed with it... In a brief conversation, I immediately noticed that the service/staff were also super friendly and incredibly nice... My first impression didn't necessarily compel me to eat there... I'm rarely so positively surprised by a first impression that I absolutely have to go there...

Generally a great restaurant, the service staff are actually really nice, the food is good. However, it seems hygiene is not taken very seriously. Unfortunately, on my last visit I witnessed a situation that made me question whether I want to come back or not. A mother with a small child was sitting at the table next to us. At first glance there was nothing wrong with it, absolutely not, but every time the mother got up to get food the child licked the bottom of the salt shaker and pepper mill. At some point the child did the same thing when the mother was sitting at the table, but the mother ignored it, of course, but that is not my point. After the family had paid, I politely told a server so that the mills could be cleaned when the table was cleaned. The server then told me "yeah, of course we always do that, but thank you very much for your attention anyway." Well, to my surprise, I saw that the mills were not cleaned when the table was cleaned, even though only a few minutes had passed between the conversation and the table being cleaned, absolutely disgusting.

Went there for breakfast for the first time today, which I didn't like so much. It was advertised online as 14.90 euros, but only between 9 and 9:30 a.m., and from then on it was 19.90 euros. They shouldn't charge extra for coffee. Apart from that I can't complain about the food on offer, everything was delicious.

We went there twice: the first time everything was great, the second time the buffet was permanently empty.

I was unfortunately disappointed with my visit. Even at check-in, it wasn't explained to me that there would be a €18 charge for leftover food. The waiter didn't point it out either. Instead, it was just written in small letters on the table. That's not fair communication to me. I got the impression that this place is more about ripping people off than being hospitable. Transparency doesn't look like that to me. As a guest, I expect such costs to be clearly stated from the start, or briefly mentioned during clearing. It's a shame.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed this time. We ended up being charged an additional €16 because we didn't finish some of the dishes. The rule was only written in small letters on the table – no information from the staff, no verbal explanation. That's not good service, especially if you don't know about it beforehand. It was also a real shame that no lemon juice or lemon slices were offered with the fish dishes – that's just part of the experience. The concept is interesting, but this experience was unfortunately unpleasant, and we feel ill-informed. We hope the restaurant communicates more openly and clearly with guests in the future.

Unfortunately, the lunch buffet is now being cut back. There's no longer as much selection as before.

We received a very friendly welcome at the entrance and were shown to our table. Our server was truly exceptionally friendly and accommodating :) Good buffet selection, definitely something for everyone...since we were there on a Saturday evening, it was naturally quite busy. But most of the time, when something ran out, it was quickly refilled...we did have to wait a little longer for the freshly prepared dishes, but that was perfectly acceptable for a Saturday evening. We'll definitely be back!

It's now become my favorite restaurant for Chinese cuisine. I'll be trying out the Oberhausen branch soon – they've recently started offering brunch.

I would have preferred no star...it's loud and the food tastes rather mediocre. And you can't keep up with the refills. So the selection remains very limited. Or you end up going around in circles with your plate forever until something is refilled here and there...back here again. No, anywhere is better.

A lovely, very modern restaurant. The buffet food is tasty, with a very large selection and good quality. Personally, I didn't like the dessert buffet that much; I didn't like the pastries. What we didn't like at all was that you have to pay extra for the straw with the Aperol (€0.50). The service also needs improvement.

Reservations required, friendly staff, plenty of parking, clean toilets. The buffet is European-Asian, plentiful, very tasty - no one leaves hungry, not even vegetarians. We were very satisfied and the bill of €120 for four adults and two children was within the pleasing range. We would definitely like to come back!
