Definitely worth a recommendation... The staff is a bit poor, but Marcello pulls it all together...

Went there spontaneously for the first time on Sunday. Everyone was super friendly and the pizza was delicious. We'll be back. Thank you for the delicious food and the great service.

Dear Don Marcello, we visited the Ristorante yesterday and both the food and the atmosphere were very nice and a complete pleasure👌. From the goat cheese gratin, to the octupus, to the Taglioni Frutti di Mare and the steak, everything was perfect. Thank you very much for your hospitality! We'll be back soon

The ambience is fine, the service is excellent, but the pizza could be improved.

We were there with our little daughter and had a very nice evening. The food was delicious, we didn't have to wait long, the waitress was very nice, great atmosphere. All in all, highly recommended!

!!Attention Watch out!! New owner and this year. So don't take all the reviews before 2025 too seriously! Went there for the third time today and a lot has happened, after a long time the long-awaited operating area is back. There are more staff at the front in the beer garden and they are super friendly. Prices are completely reasonable, and the pizza we ate there today was simply great. The beer garden is still being designed a lot, as I've heard, so it's ideal for families with the playground where the kids can move around freely. We will still test the operating area, but what we could see looked very good. Thank you for being able to enjoy delicious food and the beautiful weather there again. However, I hope that the opening times in the BEER GARTEN will change to benefit flight operations and guests who walk past it every day. Please keep it up ♥️

2025/03 Beer garden: Girls behind the bar are mercilessly overwhelmed! Don't understand the orders, calculate incorrectly! Cold currywurst, fries taste like dishwater, mayo drowns the food! And bad Italian hits are booming out of the loudspeaker in an obtrusive and loud manner!

The pizza was very tasty, the salad mista was also tasty, but had a lot of stalks. Super tasty aioli. Nice service, comfortable chairs, best view of the sunset 🌄

We were here completely by chance during our dog walk. We actually just wanted to drink a little wine, which was VERY DELICIOUS. The bruschetta and pizza rolls were OUTSTANDING, the service was super friendly and accommodating. We are VERY satisfied and will definitely come back!

Super tasty pizza. Can only be recommended! In summer the ambience is definitely a 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, one point deducted because the service is very friendly but unfortunately not at all well-established. (No bread at the table, no napkin with the chilled wine bottle and we were asked by 3 different waiters if we had already ordered food, but we were still ordering drinks 2 seconds before) But that will definitely change in a few months when everything has settled down. The boss was also present every now and then and went to a few tables, which we thought was really great. So overall, absolutely recommended! We'll be back!

We ate there for the first time today. The food was delicious at moderate prices. Very friendly service. The beer garden was also open and well attended. A great addition after last year's standstill.

Super good experience. The food was fresh and tasted very good. The landlord Marcello is very warm and from Calabria. When the many candles were lit it became romantic. There are always great dishes off the menu. Tomatoes and rocket from southern Italy tasted like you were on vacation. Offner wine Lugana was very good.

This is my second 1⭐ review. I walk the dog there at least once a week. Once I was never there again. As you read here, nothing has improved. You can just hope for a new tenant.

Is it open sometimes or permanently closed? Was there several times, always closed, at the snack bar it says it's not there, then vacation etc.....???? What's going on there?

Local excursion destination with beautiful surroundings

One of the best Italian restaurants in Krefeld. We are regulars here. The food tastes phenomenal and the atmosphere is always super warm. Marcello is a great host. We always look forward to the delicious food. Good and fair price-performance ratio. Totally recommended for families, as there is a playground right next to it.

Owner has changed. Is now excellent Italian cuisine. Best pizza I've ever eaten.

Yesterday after a long time we visited the beer garden at Egelsberg airfield and we were surprised. A new Italian took over the catering and there was also indoor dining in the beer garden. What was positive was not only the friendly staff but also the very tasty food (pizza and pasta dishes). The new gastronomic offering makes this beer garden an even nicer place to linger, especially at the end of the day and on weekends. Above all, parents can eat here in peace while the children can let off steam in the playground. Fries, currywurst and other small items are still offered in the beer garden. We had a completely successful evening in one of the most beautiful places in Krefeld. We wish the new Don Marcello restaurant all the best and many new, satisfied visitors.

Here you can have a good drink on bike tours/in the summer and enjoy the view of the airfield. The kitchen is not really appealing, also due to the unfriendliness of the gentleman at the counter. Even if individual dishes are supposed to be tasty. A smile doesn't hurt though.

So the weather was nice, we ate a delicious currywurst with fries and drank non-alcoholic wheat. I think it's nice that you can watch the flight operations. CHILDREN can get active in the playground. It's a nice destination!!!

In itself a good beer garden/restaurant. Self-service outside. The people behind the counter are sometimes a bit irritable. But the food is OK.

Selbstbedienung,Bestuhlung hat sicher bessere Tage gesehen.Dafür sind die Preise oben angesiedelt.

Man muss trennen zwischen einem normalen Besuch dort und dem von uns besuchten privaten Event. Essen ist Convinience. Da gibt es nichts dran zu rütteln. Der Biergarten war wirklich gekonnt aufgehübscht und mit Kerzen & Co. war es dort wirklich nett. Starker Sonnenuntergang gratis. Kellnerin war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Wunderschönes Ambiente mit wunderbarem Essen . Besonders die selbst geräucherten Forellen.

Für einen kleinen Imbis geeignet. Werd Flugzeuge mag und eine Kleinigkeit Essrn und Trinken möchte, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Es waren schon bessere. Musik Bands dort , leider muss ich ein minus geben , es war leider nur ein einziger Zugang um Getränke und Essen zu holen 30 Minuten anstehen für Getränke geht absolut nicht , das war schon mal besser, maximal 10 - 15 Minuten ist OK.

Essen und Getränke muss man an der Theke abholen. Dafür super Umgebung( Flugplatz)

Schöner Ort zum verweilen und den Fliegern zu zuschauen. Essen und Ambiente sind gut, Die Bedienung hinter der Theke könnte etwas freundlicher sein.

Wir hatten Kaffee, Cappuccino und Mini Stück aufgetauten Apfelkuchen, zu völlig überhöhten Preisen, auf einer Holzbank, bzw. Stuhl ohne Sitzauflagen und in die Jahre gekommen. Positiv natürlich die tolle Aussicht und die Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder. Personal war freundlich, und geriet trotz des hohen Aufkommens an Besuchern nie in Panik, Daumen hoch.

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal dort. Ich/wir waren enttäuscht. Essen im Selbstbedienung Bereich in Plastikgeschirr, Limo in Plastikbecher unmöglich. Wir werden nicht mehr dort hingehen.

An der Essen und Getränke Ausgabe sehr lange Wartezeit. Vor mir in der Schlange sind Gäste genervt wieder gegangen. Wir denken das das besser Organisiert werden kann.

Schade, da es eigentlich ein schöner Platz ist, um mit Kindern einen schönen Tag/Nachmittag zu verbringen. Jedoch sind die älteren Herren, die die Gastronomie führen, einen Stern nicht Wert… patzig und unfreundlich. Aber: Ein schöner, kleiner Spielplatz. Zwar alt, aber toll für Kinder.

Viel Gedränge, Kiosk-Feeling, wenige Sitzplätze.

Super Kinderspielplatz, herrlich gelegen.
