Würzhaus Restaurant Nürnberg in Nürnberg

Mir fehlen die Worte 🙂. Ich war mit einem guten Kumpel freitags bei euch. Das Essen ist ein kulinarischener Hochgenuss. Ich glaube so gut habe ich noch nie "geschlemmt". Die Gewürze, die Kräuter, das Gemüse, der Fisch und das Fleisch bilden ein einzigartiges Geschmackserlebnis. Besonders schön ist die wohltuende Atmosphäre.Trotz dem hochklassigen Essen fühlt man sich wohl, da die Gäste "normal bzw. moderat sind. Die Mitarbeiterenden sind in der Beratung kompetent, sachlich und authentisch freundlich. Für mich war der Abend ein Highlight. Ein - Zweimal im Jahr werde ich mir ein Abend bei euch gönnen. Wir waren am Abend zum 8 Gang Menü da. Absolut großartig! Jeder einzelne Gang war eine Gaumenfreude. Auch der Service war absolut perfekt, herzlich und sehr aufmerksam. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke, dass ihr uns so einen wunderschönen Abend beschert habt.

Mittlerweile waren wir schon im mehreren Lokalen aus der Fine-Dine Box. Das Würzhaus war bisher mit Abstand das allerbeste, was die Qualität der Speisen, Bedienung und die Kompetenz zur Änderung von Gerichten betrifft. Meiner Frau wurden beim Menü die Speisen perfekt angepasst und ihre Allergien selbstverständlich berücksichtigt. Meine Hochachtung an die Küche. Da können sich andere Lokale eine Scheibe davon abschneiden. Wir kommen selbstverständlich wieder und macht bitte so weiter.

Qualitativ hochwertige Speisen, schön angerichtet in perfekter handwerklichen Kochkunst. Für meinen Geschmack ist der Gasthaus etwas zu klein für die vielen Tische die zu nah beieinander stehen, somit ist der Lärmpegel sehr hoch und man kann sich schwer unterhalten oder den Ausführungen der Kellner folgen. Der Service war freundlich und emsig. Das Ambiente eher schlicht gehalten. Wir haben das 8 Gänge Menü gewählt und es sehr genossen. Schön wäre es wenn man bei der Weinbegleitung probieren könnte, somit wäre eine Enttäuschung ausgeschlossen. Auf der Herrentoilette sollte ein Kleiderhaken angebracht werden um das Jackett ablegen zu können. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend.

Solide, ehrliche Küche. Gute Preise. Das Servicepersonal ist mittags völlig überlastet. Zwei Personen reichen einfach nicht für 40–50 Gäste.

Lasst euch von den 3☆ nicht irritieren, es war sehr schön dort, jedoch ist beim Service noch deutlich Luft nach oben. Das Restaurant werde ich dennoch weiterempfehlen. Pro: -Extrem leckere, teils ausgefallene, Gerichte -Angenehme Hindergrund Musik Contra: -Tische für große Personen zu niedrig -Die Weinglässer sind für so ein Restaurant viel zu billig und dick -Port- und Rotwein waren deutlich zu warm -Alle Weine wurden vor den Speisen gebracht und man wartete noch mehrere Minuten, teils auch recht lange, auf die Speisen. Das war für uns unorganisiert, denn ein Wein erwärmt sich und schmeckt dann anders. Da ist es dann besonders schade, wenn man noch lange auf das Gericht warten muss und die Grundtemperatur der ausgeschenkten Weins sowieso schon am oberen Rand steht. Einen Wein mit ca. 10°C Trinktemperatur haben wir gar nicht gehabt. -Eine Servicekraft zerschlug eine Fliege, die an der Wand saß, mit der nackten Hand. Das war, in so einem Etablissement sehr unschön -Als wir unsere erste Vorspeise bekamen, waren noch leere Teller von Brot/Butter nicht abgeräumt. Daraufhin sagte die Bedienung, dass die Teller größer nicht sein könnten. Das empfanden wir als unpassend, hätte man einfach davor die leeren Teller abgeräumt, gäbe es keine Platzprobleme mit den Vorspeisen Tellern -Es gab nur eine Servicekraft die wirklich gut in ihrem Job war. Ein Dank an die Dame. Alle anderen waren zwar stets bemüht, aber es fehlte Wohl an Erfahrung. So wurde eben oftmals nicht abgeräumt, gerade auch bei leeren Gläsern, das Wasser mussten wir ständig selbst nachschenken, sie sprachen zu leise oder zu unsicher bei der Erklärung der Speisen, die Speisekartek wurden uns Wortlos in die Hand gedrückt (erst nach kurzer Zeit fragte man nach einem Aperitif) -Bei der Reservierung gibt es die Option vegan auszuwählen, das haben wir für eine Person auch so gemacht. Leider wusste man davon gestern anscheinend nichts und es dauerte wirklich unglaublich lange, bis wir unsere Gerichte bekamen. Den Gruß aus der Küche bekamen wir nach über 45min., während ein Paar neben uns ihren schon nach nicht einmal 20 min. bekam. -Die lange Wartezeit auf Speisen zog sich wie ein roter Faden durch den Abend. Wir bekamen immer erst deutlich später als alle anderen Gäste, weil ein Gang vegan zu bereitet werden musste. Das Essen war super gut, gar keine Frage, jedoch verstehen wir überhaupt nicht wieso man es in der Reservierung schon anbietet und als Restaurant dementsprechend schon frühzeitig bescheid bekommt; dann aber am Abend Augenscheinlich nicht darauf eingestellt ist. Ansonsten können wir uns die lange Wartezeit nicht erklären. Wir verließen das Restaurant um kurz vor 23 Uhr, als letzten Gäste, obwohl sie offiziell nur bis 22 Uhr offen haben und wir schon seit 1830 Uhr dort waren. Natürlich ist es schön so lange essen zu gehen, wobei dabei mehr Struktur (z.b. ungefähr genaue zeitliche Abfolge der Gerichte) schöner wäre -Gegen 22 Uhr wurde schon begonnen die alten Tischdecken gegen neue für den nächsten Tag auszutauschen. Wir verstehen, dass man Feierabend haben möchte, aber für den Gast ist es einfach nicht schön

Es war ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis! Was aus einfachen Lebensmitteln gezaubert wurde war einfach wunderbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Wenn mir Freunde, die meine kulinarische Begeisterung kennen, Restaurants empfehlen, dann sind meine Erwartungen natürlich hoch. Wenn diese Erwartungen dann noch übertroffen werden, dann ist das so richtig wunderbar! So geschehen gestern Abend im Würzhaus, wo ich ein wirklich sensationelles Menü genießen durfte, das Diana Burkel mit ihrem Team auf die Teller zauberte. Fantastisch wohlige Geschmackserlebnisse vom Allerfeinsten und als dann noch dieser wahnsinns Gorgonzola Gang meine Geschmacksnerven verwöhnte, war ich endgültig mehr als begeistert. Sowohl die Weinbegleitung, als auch die selbst gemachte alkoholfreie Begleitung waren absolut perfekt und der Service natürlich auch hervorragend. Vielen Dank an das ganze Team für diesen grandiosen Genussabend!

Ostermenü war kreativ, allerdings nicht ausgefallen. Auch seitens der Gewürze nicht überraschend oder überragend. Hat uns nicht überzeugt und die Weinbegleitung zum Menü, geht definitiv besser.

Absoluter geniales Menü, super Zusammenstellung tolle Angestellte. Es hat sich gelohnt und wird nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Unser Lieblingsrestaurant... natürlich nicht für jeden Tag, aber für den besonderen und wenn man mal richtig entspannt genießen und umsorgt werden möchte, ist dies ein hervorragender Ort dazu. Die genialen Kreationen von bevorzugt regionalem und jahreszeitlich passendem Gemüse und Obst sind immer eine tolle Überraschung. 💛

Das Essen im Würzhaus ist der Hammer! Wir hatten das 4 Gänge Menü und waren alle sehr begeistert. Besonders die Zwiebelsuppe im Amuse war exzellent. Das ganze Menü war stimmig und hat gut harmoniert. Insgesamt würde ich sagen wurde das essen von gang zu gang schlechter. Das Amuse war genial, genauso wie das zwiebelbrot, die 2 vorspeisen waren ebenfalls vorzüglich der hauptgang war auch lecker aber nicht mehr so besonders und das dessert hat uns etwas enttäuscht, es war kaum Birne als Komponente erkennbar stattdessen hat die Schokolade viel raum eingenommen und das minz-eis war auch nicht der hit. Der Service war aufmerksam und gut aber nicht herausragend, die Freundlichkeit wirkte etwas gezwungen. Rundum ist es ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ort für ein einzigartiges Fine-Dining Erlebnis, da das Essen wirklich lecker und einen Besuch wert ist!

Ein perfektes 5 Gänge Menü. Mit tollen Ideen und feinem Geschmack.Toll was Diana Burkel mit Gemüse zaubert.

Wir waren zu 4 mit der Fine Dine Box unterwegs. Das Ambiente, das Personal, der Ablauf des Menüs von vorne bis hinten durchdacht.Es wurden alle Speisen und die dazu gehörigen Weine beschrieben und super erklärt. Die Speisen aufeinander, regional und saisonal abgestimmt Das 5 Gänge Menü, war ein Traum vom ersten bis zum letzten Biss. Wir werden wieder kommen. Es ist zwar nicht günstig, aber wir finden,es ist es wert.

Mittagstisch sehr empfehlenswert. Speisenkombination gut. Auch sehr gut sind die Menüs am Abend. Guter Service. Sehr leckere Speisen – nicht überdreht.

Nun muss ich doch mal schreiben. Waren vor gut einem Jahr da und es war Mega gut (geil) . Die 5 Gänge waren super authentisch abgestimmt mit regionalen Bezug und Produkten. Die Weinbegleitung war absolut stimmig zu den Gerichten. Was für eine Geschmacksexplosion am Gaumen! Der Service war sehr freundlich, fachlich kompetent, aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Selbst die Chefin „Burgel“ kommt an den Tisch und fragt nach, ob alles in Ordnung war. Großer Respekt und Authentizität. So geht Gastronomie! Kommen bald wieder 😋😘

Eine Einkehr ist immer wieder ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Hervorragende Küche, angenehmes Ambiente und perfekter Service. Um es mit Aldous Huxley zu sagen - doppelplusgut.

Kurz: Zum 2. Mal dort. Besonders. Delikat. Gehoben, entspannt, nicht spießig. Anekdote: Hier hat mir das erste Mal in meinem Leben rote Beete geschmeckt, da diese ganz besonders zubereitet war. Chapeau!

We were there for lunch. Our visit was rather mediocre. The service was attentive, but the food was somewhat uninspired (especially the dessert). There were also some long wait times. I would only recommend this restaurant with reservations.

The lunch menu at Würzhaus in Nuremberg offers excellent food made with regional ingredients. The staff is friendly, the portion sizes are just right, and the traditional Franconian decor perfectly complements the overall atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very delicious food; we had the 8 courses, and everything was consistently excellent. The service staff was also very friendly. The one-star deduction is for the ambiance. For me, that's just part of what you get at such high-priced restaurants. And I didn't like it at the Würzhaus. A picture on the bare walls might be a good start.

We had dinner at Würzhaus this evening, and it was simply a dream! From the warm and attentive staff to the fantastic food and the perfectly matched wine pairing, everything was of the highest standard. Highly recommended 🤩

Very delicious food for a special evening. A changing menu with matching wine pairings. The dishes are all appetizer-sized, and I always left feeling full. Even combinations that don't initially appeal to me are actually always delicious and interesting. What's particularly pleasant is that you feel comfortable dressed "normally" and don't have to "dress up," like wearing a polo shirt with nice jeans.

As always: innovative and delicious food. Highly recommended.

I've been there several times now. Everything has always been delicious. The main courses could have been a bit larger. A strip of meat isn't enough. This is just enough to determine the flavor.

Very tasty, recommendable menus

As you'd expect from Diana Birkel, food is an experience. We had the lunch menu, once with fish and once with chicken. It was a feast for the eyes, but also a delight for the taste buds. Simply an experience, and authentic, as she presents it on BR3.

We had dinner at Würzhaus, and without further ado, it was simply perfect. A definite recommendation! The only minor disappointment was the parking situation. We will definitely be back.

Franconian with a difference. Great restaurant with super friendly service

We had the 6 course menu. It was delicious and had to be seasoned with salt every now and then. The dining room is quite small, so the table arrangement was quite narrow. Still, it was a nice evening.

The food tastes good and is presented attractively. Eyes eat with you! The service is very pleasant, as is the atmosphere (Franconian-bourgeois).

We've been there three times so far. Once as a group of three, once as a couple, and once as a group of twelve, and we were completely satisfied each time. The service is very friendly, the food tastes excellent, and the ambiance is pleasant. For larger groups, you can even discuss menu selections. The Würzhaus can definitely compete with other upscale restaurants in the city without charging their prices. The value for money is definitely there. Based on our consistently positive experiences so far, we will be concluding our civil wedding here. Conclusion: Recommended for large and small groups who appreciate fine dining.

Wonderful food presented with great style. Quality is comparable to much more expensive restaurants. Expensive, but the price is reasonable for what is on offer. Elaborately and originally prepared dishes, great balanced wine accompaniment and requests are addressed individually and personally and very flexibly.

First of all, I will not publish any photos of the delicate food here. Just out of respect for the exquisite cuisine. From the greeting from this to the wine accompaniment to the menu to the digestif, everything is very harmoniously coordinated in taste. The compositions unfold a variety of taste explosions, on the tongue and on the palate. A real pleasure that rounds off a wonderful evening with attentive, friendly and competent service.

I've only been there for lunch so far. There is a much cheaper lunch menu (compared to the evening menu). The food is very good and always interesting! I can only warmly recommend it!

Unfortunately, our lunch at the Würzhaus was a disappointment. Despite being mentioned in the Michelin Guide, the food fell far short of expectations. Starters: • Salad: Too spicy for children due to sprouts • Trout crostini: Stale bread in oil, too salty trout paste • Spicy Coleslaw: Not spicy, woody cabbage, charred pork belly Main courses: • Schnitzel: Too dry • Potato-carrot vegetables: Mashed potatoes, large pieces of carrots, tasteless • Cod: OK, but indefinable side dish (bulgur/couscous?) Dessert: • Plum cake: Soaked in “vanilla sauce” and sprinkled with brown sugar Positive: • Service • Espresso Price: Over €90 for 3 people The Würzhaus relies too much on superficial elements like sprouts and cress instead of creating sophisticated dishes. The quality of the ingredients and the preparation were poor. For a restaurant in this price range and with a Michelin mention, much more is to be expected. We will not visit the Würzhaus again.

It was another taste explosion...

A good place to eat!! Not QUITE in the old town, but about 10 minutes walk from the Dürer House. So no problem! WE were there at lunchtime and had a very good meal (it is a star restaurant), and at very moderate prices (three courses for under 40 euros!!). We rate the friendliness of the staff positively, especially the good advice regarding wine! Well, you can, no, you should go there. And it will definitely be great in the evening too!

My first visit to the Würzhaus was lunch on September 6, 2024. The outside terrace was fully booked and it was also very hot. There were still plenty of indoor spaces and it was already busy. The service staff was very attentive and quick. A lunch menu with 3 courses for 32 euros plus a drink is more than justified given this quality. It started with the salad dressing and ended with the pickled oranges in the dessert, guessing the various spice compositions. It was just incredibly delicious. If you love quality at a good price, you definitely have to go to the Würzhaus. I'll be back, I promise.

The price-performance ratio doesn't fit here. Food was ok. Very small portions, for way too much money. I've eaten better and cheaper there.

We had the four-course menu with wine accompaniment and it was a culinary, olfactory and taste dream that is second to none. Although I don't like wine, the grape juice served convinced me. The food itself is so coordinated that every bite just fits and offers a wonderful explosion of flavor. The service is also second to none. In my opinion, the not exactly cheap menu is worth every penny. I freaking loved it!

In the Würzhaus you get an extraordinary experience: Delicious culinary creations and outstanding professional service. The wine accompaniment to the menu is worth it. We have been guests several times and are looking forward to the next time!

Service First class food and its quality was good. Skrei was a bit tasteless. Prices raised. Good wines. We would be happy to come back if the menu was appealing, but the Würzhaus is currently not at the top of our top list of our favorite restaurants.

Finally: excellent food at reasonable prices! Gladly again

If I was invited I wouldn't go there a second time

We were there for the third time. Simply because there is a menu that is not mainstream and delicious. Pre-ordering is a good tip. Parking difficult.

Delicious food, nice service, recommended

I ordered the menu (other starter-main course-dessert & espresso = €33.50), a small salad, herb pancakes with asparagus & hollandaise, espresso and baked risotto with rhubarb. Everything was of excellent quality, tasty and beautifully served. Very quiet atmosphere, very nice and crowded, you have to reserve. I give it 9 out of 10 because I felt that the service staff was not satisfied or happy. I ask the owner to take more care of his employees, make them happier or increase the number.

Excellent food served by very nice and qualified staff

We spent a very nice evening in the Würzhaus and ate the 4-course menu. All in all, a very successful presentation with harmonious flavors such as the 4th course Roquefort with onions and fennel. There is also an outstanding wine list to accompany the meal. A very nice conversation with Ms. Burkel afterwards rounded off the evening wonderfully. We will be back.

Great gourmet restaurant with great service

Many thanks to the entire team, it was simply perfect, the menu was outstanding with moments of surprise for the palate, the service was great. So wish I'm going to a restaurant! The next visit has already been reserved for February and we are looking forward to the new menu! It's great that the Würzhaus exists in Nuremberg. I think the “star” is imminent.
