Der Lichtblick im gastronomischen Destaster Höchst! Nettes Ambiente, gutes Management, eifrige Bedienungen, gute Stimmung. Ein bisschen Studentenkneipe, ein bisschen Theatergasthaus - kleine Karte, gutes Essen, professioneller Umgang, wenn ausnahmsweise mal was nicht klappt. Die Wunderbar ist unser Stammgasthaus geworden.

We spontaneously had breakfast here after attending a concert. The café is unique, lovingly furnished, very pleasant in the colors soft green and cream. Seen from the outside, you can't imagine how wonderfully designed it is inside. The reception is friendly. The service was very nice. There is even a children's area in the second room. Dogs are allowed into the restaurant. Soft lounge music plays in the background. The breakfast menu is also very surprising. In addition to scrambled eggs and the delicious farmer's breakfast, three extraordinary breakfast variations await morning connoisseurs. The goat cheese breakfast is a little taste dream. It contains, among other things, a large slice of baked goat cheese....hmmm...also a cream cheese, semi-hard cheese, camembert, caprese, sprouts with corn, butter, baguette, a grain roll and.....a slice of fresh grain bread. Everything is garnished with rosemary.....and the portion is just right to fill you up.....without leaving too much left.....without having to throw away the option of food. 2 extended breakfast ideas include serano ham, olives and more. Breakfast eggs, rolls and more can also be ordered. The milk coffee was also delicious. We are absolutely thrilled.

Nice staff and large portions. Were satisfied. The tea is recommended. No run-of-the-mill tea bag! Bottled myself and smells great.

Great place Great for families celebrating, our wedding dinner was great and delicious. Service and everything was super nice and friendly. If you want to spend a nice evening, that's wonderful just to be missed. Gladly again and again. Stay like that and keep it up, you're a great team 👍

Went there spontaneously in the evening to have a drink and managed to get a seat, but it quickly filled up - it's probably advisable to make a reservation :) There are exceptional, very tasty lemonades. Some gluten-free options are marked on the menu, and when asked, it was explained that they also pay attention to contamination. Then had a baked goat cheese with salad - a huge and very tasty portion. I can highly recommend it.

We had our wedding breakfast in the Wunderbar. The table was very lovingly set. After prior consultation, a very extensive menu was put together for us. From champagne reception to scrambled eggs to coffee specialties. Nothing was left to be desired. Price/performance definitely fits. Thank you for the lovely day. We felt very comfortable.

The “samosa” for €6 were cheap, frozen spring rolls. lots of greasy dough and little filling. Not appetizing at all, you just have a stomach ache afterwards.

Die Wunderbar in Frankfurt Höchst ist für uns seit langem ein absolutes Lieblingsziel. Meine Frau und ich kommen regelmäßig hierher, um uns bei einem entspannten Frühstück und einem köstlichen Kaffee zu verwöhnen. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre und der liebevoll gestaltete Innenbereich schaffen sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Auch der Service verdient ein großes Lob. Das Team der "Wunderbar" ist stets freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Selbst zu Stoßzeiten fühlt man sich als Gast nie gehetzt, sondern bestens umsorgt. Gerade als wir mal zu einer Stoßzeit spontan eingekehrt sind, hat man uns trotz vieler Reservierungen noch einen Tisch zuweisen können. Das verdient besondere Anerkennung. Für uns ist die Wunderbar ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen, an dem wir immer wieder gerne Zeit verbringen. We love the wonderful! We have been happy to come back for many years. I love the very long breakfast until lunch, the food is just great anyway. Also absolutely suitable for vegetarians and vegans. In the evening you can drink wonderful cocktails.

Sweet bar in Frankfurt Höchst. There is a corner for children to play, the toilet was clean and generally the atmosphere was very relaxing. It took a little longer for someone to come and take our order, even though we came at a quiet time with not much activity. The food and drinks were fine and came in a reasonable time. Staff was friendly. All in all you can do it 🙂‍↔️

We were served quickly and very courteously. Both the order went quickly and the food, which was beautifully prepared and very tasty after about 10 minutes. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy. We'd love to come back.

On Sunday evening, 6 p.m.: Ordered 2 x goat cheese with salad. Overall it was bland and, above all, the sauce was watery. Service: The wrong beer (light instead of dark) was delivered twice. A complaint was made to the waiter, but no one was interested. We will look for another restaurant in the future.

Wunderbar is worth a visit if it doesn't close at 10 p.m. (after the summer holidays). The last time we were there, there were people there with us at midnight on Thursdays. Always changing pictures on the walls, which - if you like them - can also be bought. 😁

Nice combination of restaurant and bar. Vegan dishes are also offered. Plus changing art exhibitions, nice service and good music. In summer you can also sit outside in the courtyard entrance.

The ambience (sat outside) and the service were nice - but the portions are not appropriate for the price - I had pasta in Gorgonzola sauce and it was less than a child's portion - even for my companion, who had a burger, the portion was manageable... . If you're hungry, you should probably eat somewhere else. It's nice to have a relaxed drink and sit here.

Entspanntes Restaurant mit gemischten Publikum, er erinnert mich manchmal an eine Studentenkneipe, kleiner Karte , aber guten Speisen . Wir gehen dort gerne vor den Theateraufführungen eine Kleinigkeit essen, oder nehmen den Wein von dort mit ins Kino ( offizieller Service ).

I've been here for an aperitif after the cinema. Nice place. A few days ago, after visiting a doctor, I decided to break my fast here. What a terrible mistake! The scrambled eggs were a dry, yellowish mass; the “fresh” vegetables tasted like onions; the bread was very dry and the coffee was ok. In short: never again.

The Wunderbar is an institution in the Höchst district and not only a popular destination for visitors to the neighboring New Theater/Film Forum. The food and service are top-notch, and a unique selling point is the constantly changing art and photo exhibitions.

Have been there twice now, once for the morning buffet and once for dinner. First of all, the ambience and the friendly staff are positive. However, the food and service leave a lot to be desired. We had to wait about 40 minutes for our capuccino and chai latte as well as our breakfast menu, even though there weren't really many customers there. I would describe the chai latte more as a latte, because there didn't really seem to be anything else in it apart from the milk (see photo). At dinner I didn't think the portions were appropriate for the price, and the taste wasn't great either: the pasta dish was very dry, the shrimp skewer was more like a salad and a small skewer with tiny shrimps. I'm here for the first time today and I'm really excited! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the brunch buffet has a large selection and tastes really fantastic and the ambience is comfortable, cozy and inviting despite the beautiful large area. It is complemented with appropriate music; I can also work on my laptop here. The Wunderbar absolutely convinced me and I would like to come here more often :)

We were there on Saturday lunchtime and had a delicious brunch. The food really tasted very good and was lovingly prepared. It's great that there is an outside terrace, but it feels a bit cramped with the parasols spread between two walls.

Unfortunately, I am now very disappointed with the Wunderbar. Last year was quite nice with children. In the meantime I've been there several times and I'm always very disappointed because there's a table in the games corner and you're told. There is no games corner. So what does this have to do with child-friendly. I can only say it's a shame because there is nothing nice to go to with children in Höchst.

Again for 25 years. Refreshing memories and an early lunch capo. Someday again, not just in 20 years.

We were there for brunch. It's been a long time in the Wunderbar again The food is appropriate for the price. Unfortunately little attention is paid to little things like bread tongs. The service is incredibly bad. We arrived at 10:10 a.m., ordered coffee and it arrived 15 minutes later even though there was no business until then. From then on there was no clearing away, let alone asking if we wanted something to drink. Despite please, no one came anymore. I have never experienced such unspeakably bad service

Es war an dem Abend sehr voll. Die Getränke/Limonaden waren sehr lecker und nicht zu süß. Die Burger haben uns eher leider enttäuscht, der Fleisch war etwas zäh, der Wildburger auch zu pikant. Somit mit 19 Euro pro Burger völlig überpreist.. Die Fritten waren allerdings selbst gemacht und sehr lecker. Für den Preis haben wir mehr erwartet. Die Bedienung war nett.

At brunch, there was a lot of choice, something for everyone, including boiled eggs, various salads, muesli, cheese. I particularly liked the vegetarian cheese cream in the small bowls. Usually on the 1st Sunday of the month, but you should definitely reserve a table beforehand.

A nice place to have a coffee at lunchtime and work at it. An idyllic place in the evening, surrounded by lots of people having a drink with friends. The food and the sodas are very special and the taste cannot be compared to any other café/bar.

Recommendation to reserve a table in the evening. The salad with warm goat cheese tastes very good...The restaurant also has changing wall decorations with pictures from constantly changing artists. Very nice.

Friendly place for a meeting, even in a friendly atmosphere. Not far from the beautiful Höchst old town. Easily accessible by public transport, the train station is only a few minutes' walk away. The food is okay, as is the selection of drinks. Friendly service staff, appealing atmosphere.

Despite the very full restaurant, very friendly and competent service. We had a delicious Limoncello Spritz as an aperitif. For dinner we had tasty rigatoni with tomato sauce and a game burger with fried potatoes (mjaaamm) and for dessert the rice pudding (super creamy). Overall we were very satisfied. Thank you! 😊

Sehr angenehme Location. Kein Allerweltsfrühstück mit Gummigouda. Der guze Gorillakaffee aus Sachsenhausen sei noch erwähnt... Entspanntes Preisniveau und sehr charmante aufmerksame Servicedamen. Da lohnt sich auch ein Besuch aus der hessischen Provinz...

Ambiente/Interieur ansprechend. Aber kühl im Nebenraum. Essen kam lauwarm nach längerer Wartezeit, schmeckte aber gut. (Blumenkohlcurry) Das Bezahlen dauerte ewig wegen des schlecht oder gar nicht funktionierenden WLAN. Wir haben 2, 5 Stunden zu fünft hier zugebracht.

Mittlerweile mein liebstes Restaurant in Frankfurt. JEDES Gericht ist ein kulinarisches Erlebnis: Fiocchi mit Birne und Parmesan, der Riesensalat mit Putengeschnetzeltem im Currymantel, die Rigatoni in Gorgonzolasauce, usw., usw. Der Service ist 🔝, der Küchenchef unvergleichlich. Entspannte Atmosphäre, gute Musik, der Sommergarten in der Sonne sitzend ‘wunderbar’. Welch ein Juwel in Höchst.

Seit Jahren ist mein absoluter Lieblingsort. Das Essen ist stets von hervorragender Qualität und der Service überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es ist jedes Mal ein Genuss, hier zu speisen. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und einladend, was den Besuch zu einem rundum gelungenen Erlebnis macht. Ich kann Wunderbar nur wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich schon jetzt auf meinen nächsten Besuch!

Unsere Geburtstagsfeier ging leider im Lärm der spielenden Kinder anderer Gäste unter. Was ist passiert? Für unsere Senioren-Geburtstagsfeier mit 20 Personen war der kleine Raum mit Spielecke bereitgestellt worden. Dort versuchten wir uns zu unterhalten, trotz der einen oder anderen vorhandenen Schwerhörigkeit, wie bei 60-70 Jährigen halt üblich. Im großen Raum dann das Eltern-Kind-Treffen mit Sonntagsbrunch in ruhiger Atmosphäre, da die lärmenden Kinder ja im Nebenraum in der Spielecke untergebracht waren. Ohne Aufsicht, man ist ja froh, wenn man sie mal von der Backe hat, die kleinen Krachmacher. Ohne Aufsicht heißt für die Geburstagsgesellschaft, in der Spieleecke ist es laut und enthemmt, man versteht kein Wort, Spielzeug fliegt durch die Luft, die Renterin versucht, ohne zu stürzen über ein rollendes Spielzeugauto zu balancieren. Die Bitte um Klärung der Situation ermuntert den Service zu der Erwiderung, das sei so mit Kindern, dazu sei die Spielecke schließlich da und Rücksicht wäre geboten. Als Mutter zweier junger Erwachsener kann ich sagen, so dermaßen rücksichtslos gegenüber anderen haben wir uns als Familie nie verhalten. Als Beschäftigte im Bereich Kindertagesstätten ist mir der Schutz vulnerabler Gruppen sehr wichtig. Und das sind neben Kindern eben auch ältere und behinderte Menschen. Wenn Kinder das von ihren Eltern nicht lernen, müssen wir uns als Ältere und Alte vorsehen. Und wenn Gaststättenbeschäftigte nicht reflektieren können, dass nicht nur Kinder Schutz brauchen, dann sollte wenigstens das Buffet schmecken.

Wir waren Heute zum Buffet in der Wunderbar und waren sehr Zufrieden, es gab eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten und es wurde immer wieder frisch aufgefüllt. Wir waren schon oft zu Gast und sind immer sehr überzeugt vom Service und den Speisen.

Mag die Wunderbar eigentlich. Der Burger auf der Wochenkarte war allerdings eine große Enttäuschung. Zu wenig Soße, Geschmacklich unterirdisch, Brötchen zu lang gebacken. Portion Kartoffelecken sehr klein. Keine Garnitur. Ketchup, Mayo im Tütchen dazugelegt.

Kann den Ziegenkäse mit Salat empfehlen.,schmeckt sehr gut.

Schöner Ort zum verweilen. Vielseitiges Essen in einem schönen Restaurant zu einem Fairen Preis. Die Cocktails sind auch sehr schmackhaft. Man kann auch schön im Freien sitzen.

Essen war super! Das Personal war seh aufmerksam und freundlich und das Ambiente hat voll meinen Geschmack getroffen. Kunst, Gemütlichkeit, geräumig, so dass es auch gemütlich bleibt wenn viel los ist. Auch die Musik war gut und unaufdringlich.

Un lugar cultural con un excelente servicio, en pleno sector de inmigración turca. Quise regresar un lunes pero es el día de cierre. Después no pude hacerlo. Así pues, me reservo una reseña sobre su comida. Aunque debo confesar que volveré allí en horario de noche. Me gustó la amabilidad de trato de la señora que me atendió. Cierran a las 12 de la noche y el último pedido es a las 11,30, media hora antes de cerrar.

Sehr schöne Location, freundliches Personal. Gute Küche, egal, ob Frühstück, Mittag- oder Abendessen. Auch für einen Klönsnak zur Kaffeezeit bestens geeignet. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Wenn Veranstaltung im Neuen Theater ggf. vorher einen Tisch reservieren ! Mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar (Höchst Bahnhof + kurzer Fußweg), auch mit dem Auto (Parken - Höchster Markt). Im Sommer weitere Sitzmöglichkeiten im Garten.

We went there for a late lunch, around 2:30 pm. The food was good. However, the lady who served us was very rude for no apparent reason and was very unprofessional. We are not from Germany and wanted to communicate our orders in English to her. When we told her we do not know German, she threw her hands backwards in an exasperated manner and was seemingly very angry to wait on us. Never smiled or talked to us, and then presented the check in an unkind way, as if we were lesser than her, and were eating there for free. There was another employee, a middle aged man who seemed nice and acted professionally.

Hier kann man unbesehen jedes Gericht bestellen. Wer's nicht kennt, sollt unbedingt mal hin! Höchst ohne Wunderbar kaum vorstellBAR. lol

Keine Empfehlung Wir hatten zwei Salate. Die Zusammenstellung war nicht stimmig. Der eine Salat war mit Antipasti und eine Art Gartenkräuter-Dressing. Das andere war Ziegenkäse mit Salat. Auch hier wieder dieses wässrige Dressing. Beide Salate hatten Sprossen, hat nicht dazu gepasst. Beide Salate langweilig.

Super schöner kleiner Biergarten! Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und total freundlich. Ich kann’s nur empfehlen :)

Auf der Karte ist für jeden etwas dabei, ob Veganer, Vegetarier oder Fleischliebhaber, jeder wird fündig. Die Qualität der Speisen ist sehr gut, der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Wunderbar ist immer ein Besuch wert.

Ideal vor dem Besuch des Neuen Theater Höchst. Die Karte ist nicht groß, die Gerichte sind aber alle lecker und preislich ok. Eine Reservierung sollte man vornehmen. Wer früh kommt, findet auf dem Marktplatz sicher nich einen Parkplatz.
