World-Food griechisches Restaurant und Bistro in Freiberg

Been coming here since 2005 and it's still amazing. The restaurant has changed structurally in recent years but the service and food are still great. Metaxa sauce!!! There was even a small birthday cake. Highly recommended!

World Food is a great Greek restaurant in Freiberg. It is centrally located and has a cozy, bright dining room. The restaurant has an outdoor area and facilities for celebrations. This place offers not only Greek dishes but also delicious food from different countries.

A very nice, clean and discreetly decorated restaurant. Large selection of different dishes, not just purely Greek, at reasonable prices. The taste, portion size and presentation of the food is right. Very attentive waiters and friendly manager who always tries hard to ensure that all guests have a pleasant stay. You can tell that a well-coordinated team works here. Absolutely rightly now a regular restaurant.

Here you can sit outside or with the extended family at the large table that has been pushed together. There are Greek, Italian and American dishes. All very tasty.

Very attentive service, what I didn't like was the canned stuffed peppers. Simply disgusting due to the sour taste. When it comes to beer, a larger selection would also be better, since Freiberger can only be poured down the drain while constantly stirring...

Very nice restaurant and in summer you can sit outside. Plenty of choice on the menu. We had a mixed platter for two people. Large portion and plentiful. Various meats with delicious side dishes. The pizza was also very good and had great toppings. The staff is friendly and very attentive. Highly recommended and we would love to come back.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed. For us, the meat wasn't cooked through, the burger patty wasn't crispy (as described) and unfortunately we had to wait a while until our empty drinks were refilled. The fries (side dish) were also not seasoned and there was no additional salt on the tables. And they're pretty nice prices for that...

The ambience is quite nice. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the food. My meat was barely cooked through. The garlic potatoes were very lightly seasoned and the Metaxa sauce only tasted of tomatoes. It's a shame, although the food on the plate looked very tasty.

This is one of the best restaurants in Freiberg. From the kitchen to the service, everything is perfect! I can write a lot. The cuisine...is simply more delicious than I have ever tasted. Everything is at the highest level! Price quality, I would pay more for this art. In general, I can recommend it to everyone! Nice place!

The most luxurious restaurant, excellent cuisine, amazing service. It has a very cool atmosphere and nice music. You feel comfortable here. I liked the service and the delicious cuisine. The restaurant cooks very well, you can even say “divinely”, it was not really tasty, there is also a large assortment of drinks that everyone will find something they like. You can come with your children to eat, there is a large selection. Fast and great service, just 10 out of 5!! I recommend to everyone.

Any time. We have eaten in various Greek restaurants, but none are nearly as good.

The food was good, but unfortunately it was over-seasoned, which shouldn't happen given the existing price range. The service staff in charge gave us the impression that we were overwhelmed, very hectic and sometimes even annoyed. We have definitely eaten better Greek food at a more reasonable price.

We had dinner there for two hours last night. By far the best Greek restaurant in Freiberg. After the renovation, the level has increased again. Recommendation: go there and enjoy. Jacqueline and Laura

Very nice Greek restaurant with an excellent menu. The food is very tasty and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Reservations should be made at the weekend - the restaurant is busy. But the staff also tries to find space for a spontaneous meal. We would love to come back 😊

Today for Valentine's Day with reservation. The place was lovingly decorated with red ❤️ balloons. Very busy, but still quick service. Food, as always, very good. Ample portions. Staff, despite visible stress, very friendly. Highly recommended.

Greek restaurant with many alternatives, such as pasta and burgers. Very tasty, friendly service. Pleasant ambience with generous seating, some tables, some upholstered benches. The food was very good. Recommended.

Unfortunately we sat right next to the door, which was extremely uncomfortable and cold. The food was ok. The staff was very busy, so the service wasn't the best! What I think is a shame that there was only one toilet per gender, too few for the possible number of guests and always occupied.

A Greek restaurant in the Bahnhofsvorstadt with a varied menu. The starters were very good and the same goes for the main courses. The service was friendly. The only drawback was the time lag in serving the food. It's better to take 5 minutes more so the guest has more time to breathe. Gladly again.

The order was forgotten and a measly salad was delivered instead and then the wrong food was served! And the food was almost cold so it doesn't deserve more stars!

We don't actually go out for Greek food anymore. However, we were invited and found this fantastic restaurant. Immediately pleasant atmosphere when you enter the restaurant and very friendly and attentive service. I ate gyros like I've never had before - crispy and juicy. My wife had the finest lamb fillets. The food is really recommended, as is the service. We will be back. 🙂

Nette und schnelle Bedienung, da kommen wir gerne wieder

. . . Ich glaube DAS nennt man persönliche Bedienung! Der Gast fühlt sich wohl und das Essen: reichlich und gut . . . Nur den für griechische Restaurants übliche "Ouzo vorab" hab ich vermisst - aber das schmälert meine 👍👍Bewertung nicht im geringsten 😉

Wir waren nach langer Zeit wieder in diesem Restaurant. Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Atmosphäre, das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Sehr gut besucht, aber wir haben dennoch einen Platz bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Immer lecker und immer freundlich. Wir gehen gern hin oder bestellen etwas zum Abholen.

Essen ist immer sehr lecker ,eine gratis kugel eis für unsere püppi gab es auch .

Samstag auf gut Glück eine Gaststätte zu finden, wo man in Ruhe essen kann, ist aber in ganz Freiberg schwierig, zumindest war das Wetter noch so, das wir draußen sitzen konnten. Alles andere hat 100% gepasst

Heel lekker eten met veel variatie, met recht World-food! Ook heel fijne en gezellige service en leuk ingericht. Pas geleden nog een stuk erbij gekregen en verbouwd, top restaurant.

Ein lauer Spätsommerabend mit der Möglichkeit, noch im Biergarten zu verweilen. Entsprechend Atmosphäre, schneller Service und lecker Essen. Wer Lust auf ein tschechisch Konrad Pils hat, ist hier gut beraten. Auch im Gastraum sieht es gemütlich aus. Also los ... Ich komme sicher hierher zurück.

Výborná kuchyně vždy se dobře najíme. Obsluze trošku vše trvá, ale jídlo bylo brzy na stole.

Absolut einwandfrei und ein super Atmosphäre. Das Ambiente ist modern und sehr schön. Alles stimmig und chic ohne ungemütlich zu sein, ganz im Gegenteil. Die Karte ist sehr gut, die griechische Küche vielfältig. Das Essen ist absolut empfehlenswert, sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angesichts der Qualität ist spitze.

Sehr lecker, sehr freundlich. Kann man sich mal leisten. Satt von der leckeren Vorspeise. Man kann gemütlich draussen sitzen und hat kaum Strassenlärm. Gern wieder.

Unser Stammgrieche in Freiberg... Ein Topambiente in der Nähe vom Busbahnhof... Sehr schöner Biergarten im Sommer... Sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal... Immer für einen Spaß zu haben... Hier arbeitet der Chef selber und hält das Personal zusammen und den Laden am laufen... Sehr leckere Speisen und Getränken... Bei jedem Besuch gibt es einen Ouzo auf's Haus... Man kann essen was man will, es ist alles sehr lecker und vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen... Wir sehen uns auf jeden Fall nächste Woche wieder... Wir freuen uns schon wenn der geplante Umbau im März fertig ist...

Nach kleinen Anlaufschwierigkeiten (die Getränke dauerten eine Ewigkeit) und kleinen Wetten (wir bekommen unser Essen erst nach Mitternacht) lief alles super und es ging dann alles auch sehr schnell, auch mit den Getränken. Alles in Allem...super!

Wir hatten Essen zum Abholen bestellt, leider mussten wir zuhause feststellen, dass eine Hauptspeise fehlte. Also haben wir angerufen und sind nochmal da hin gefahren und wurden vor Ort angegangen als ob der Fehler bei uns lag. Fehler können immer passieren, aber bei dieser Unfreundlichkeit werden wir diesen Lokal in Zukunft fern bleiben.

Das Essen war gut (Burger und Gyros) aber die Leistung war voll chaotisch. Wir haben lang für das Essen gewartet, ich hab drei mal die Rechnung gefragt und noch 20 Minuten gewartet. Am Ende hab ich an der Kasse selber bezahlt. Es gab viele Leute und es gab fast keine Organisation.

Wir waren in FG unterwegs und hatten etwas Appetit . Kurz rein Tisch geordert und nichts bereut . Essen war ausreichend , lecker , wirklich gut zubereitet . Außerdem waren wir 8 Personen und keiner musste auf sein Essen warten . Preisleistung ist hier Durchschnitt , Nichtzulassung teuer , nicht zu billig . Wenn wir wieder in FG sind , kommen wir bestimmt wieder .
