Wirtshaus Zur Post in Münster

The kitchen is impressive, I haven't had such good fries 🍟 in a long time, everything else is also very good and the taste is impressive. Rustic but OK. Service - one for everyone, including a bowling alley, a bit scarce, but still tolerable. Gladly again.

We visited the Allwetter Zoo in Münster and then stopped off at the Zur Post restaurant. Great food and very hospitable. Best wishes from Düsseldorf.

We had dinner with 4 adults as a stopover on our way home after a visit to the city. Excellent restaurant with a small varied menu with affordable prices. Authentic tasty dishes. Cosy pub atmosphere and excellent enthusiastic service. We would like to come back here again.

Superb roast beef with onions. Friendly, attentive service. A very tasty starter. A truly great pub atmosphere, like in the old days.👍

Were only there for dinner, food good, service very good

Celebrated my son's graduation there (with the class). Overall very nice. Nice hall with a dance floor. Solid buffet.

Small menu, but completely sufficient. Everyone will find something there. The pork knuckle is recommended. The delicious food makes up for the time you have to wait. Unfortunately, the only operation quickly reaches its limits.

We came to this quaint inn by chance. We were greeted and served very friendly and we really enjoyed the food. If we were in the area again, we would visit this Post Office pub again.

Went there with friends to eat and drink on Friday, unfortunately the inn was also hit by staff shortages and the young lady could hardly keep up. Nevertheless, it was an overall successful evening. I can also really recommend the pork knuckle with dumplings and red cabbage. And the price/performance ratio is hard to beat. Thank you very much and see you next time.

A few days ago I was there with my work colleagues to celebrate our Christmas party. We were served very well and the food was very tasty. Requests were addressed immediately. We felt very comfortable there. Gladly again.

For vegetarians, the menu has a few vegetarian dishes and it is possible to order the actual side dishes for fish and meat dishes, such as fried potatoes or potato salad. Everything tasted to our satisfaction. Prices okay. Portion sizes too. Service nice. Rustic atmosphere. Suitable for a pub. Children's meals not well selected. Only fatty foods: schnitzel, nuggets or squid rings, always with fries. Something healthier would be preferred and basically not for vegetarian children. But there is a veggie burger that did the trick.

Delicious food, great friendly service, nice terrace, often great promotions (Struwen, potato pancakes, ...): always a pleasure

All in all a great restaurant, we visited it on our way to Trier and had an excellent meal here. The chef then brought the food to the table himself, thank you very much for that. Keep it up !

The “negative” first: This time I had to reserve a knuckle by phone because I came away empty-handed the previous time, which was very annoying. However, I can fully understand the reasons, you just do the calculations and don't want to throw things away. I was just unlucky, my replacement dish was also very tasty. This time I pre-ordered a knuckle when reserving a table and lo and behold - we got a knuckle. Instead of dumplings you can easily use croquettes. And what can I say - the old Swede was hot! In the taverns in Münsterland I only order knuckle and yesterday's was probably one of the best! Great praise! We'll definitely be back.

Was soll ich schreiben ? Wir waren letzte Woche zum ersten Mal dort. Essen Service alles super. Ob Burger, Salat oder eine super knusprige Haxe. Für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich und menschlich. Wir sind definitiv nicht zum letzen mal dort eingekehrt. Haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Danke für das Salatblatt für meine Freundin 😉.

Kompetentes Personal in einem gemütlichen Ambiente und leckeres Essen sowie süffiges Fassbier aus Bayern. Mensch, was willst du mehr ?!? Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend.

Das "Wirtshaus Zur Post" ist ein Bayrisches Wirtshaus, was an der Einrichtung und der Speisekarte zu erkennen ist, worauf sich jedoch nicht versteift wurde. Das Essen ist sehr abwechslungsreich und lecker, von Haxe bis Bürger und Tellerrösti ist alles dabei, auf unsere Extrawünsche ist schnell und ohne Probleme eingegangen worden. Im Inneren gibt es einen gemütlichen Kamin und eine Theaterbühne, sogar eine Kegelbahn kann man mieten. Die Servicekräfte waren sehr nett, wir haben uns gut unterhalten und alles hat zügig geklappt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder.

Der Service war super, das Essen kam schnell und die Atmosphäre war auch gut. Es gibt viele gute vegetarische Alternativen, sodass man jedes Mal etwas anderes essen kann :) Aber das Fleisch (besonders das Schnitzel und die Haxe) soll auch sehr sehr gut sein!

Das Essen und der Service waren heute echt Top. Obwohl das Wirtshaus zur Post heute Abend im Festsaal eine Theater Veranstaltung hatte. Es gab nur eine begrenzte Speisekarte aber die hatte für alle was zu bieten. Und unsere Sonderwünsche Garnelen in Knoblauch Öl war für die Küche als Vorspeise für uns auch überhaupt kein Problem. Waren mit einer Gruppe von 11. Leuten da und wurden alle überhaupt nicht entäuscht. Es gab Schnitzel,Rumsteak und Frikadellen mit Pommes und Bratkartoffeln und nartürlich lecker Krombacher. Und nicht zu vergessen das beste Westfälische Zwiebelfleisch mit Kartoffeln und Beilagen Salat was ich jemals gegessen habe. Der Service war trotz voller Hütte total Super und auch noch schnell dabei. Riesen Lob nochmal an unsere tolle Servicekraft und an den Inhaber habt einen Prima Job gemacht. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne bei euch zum Essen und trinken vorbei. Echt Jovel bei euch macht weiter so. 👌😃

Der Service war einfach super gut!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Wirtshaus zur Post. Die Servicekraft war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Getränke und das Essen wurden schnell gebracht und auf unseren Extrawunsch wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Das Ambiente ist ein bayrisch inspiriertes Wirtshaus und der Kamin verleiht dem Ganzen eine heimelige Stimmung. Es gibt auch eine Kegelbahn und eine Theaterbühne. Obwohl es ein bayrischen Wirtshaus ist, gibt es neben den typischen bayrischen Speisen, tolles modernes Essen, wie Burger und eine leckere vegetarische Auswahl. Es ist definitiv für jeden etwas dabei. Die Spinatknödel kann ich besonders empfehlen! Das Essen ist immer sehr schmackhaft und in guten Portionen. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner, gemütlicher und gelungener Abend.

Super lecker gegessen und freundlicher Service. Wir kommen sicher wieder.
