€8 for a mini doner kebab is pretty steep, and the meat is salty and doesn't seem very fresh. The staff, however, is friendly.

We had the vegetable curry with rice and the Rösti with chicken in mushroom sauce. It was good and we had a good lunch overall which makes it 4*. Next to the Rhine we had a nice walk afterwards and also the service was very nice.

Calypso – more than just a visit, it's an experience! Great food, the best drinks around, and an atmosphere where you simply feel at home. A huge compliment to Alisa, the best boss you could imagine, and to Ian, whose calm and friendly manner perfectly rounds off the evening. The work here is done with passion. As a guest, you feel not only welcome, but almost like part of the Calypso family. We felt so comfortable that we closed the place up with the team at the end; it was so nice! Thank you for this unforgettable evening. We'll definitely be back.
