Restaurant RheinPerle in Waldshut-Tiengen

Friendly staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere right on the Rhine. We tried something new. The burgers were delicious, as were the accompanying curly fries.

Great service and always a smile, even at full capacity (Pentecost). The price/performance ratio is reasonable given the current situation, and the staff is surprisingly helpful. A perfect stop for e-bike tours 👍 highly recommended.

Very long wait, over 1 hour for the food.

The atmosphere at the campsite and on the Rhine is very nice. However, that doesn't justify the completely overpriced prices and, in contrast, the small portions. Especially with the salads. €14.90 for a fairly small sausage salad!!! Oh my gosh, that's unacceptable!! Unfortunately, prices have increased even further in the last two years (as in the restaurant industry in general). As an average earner, you can't afford it anymore. It's a shame, because the food is good and the atmosphere at the campsite and on the Rhine is really nice.

The service is very friendly as always, thank you. Unfortunately, the food isn't as good as it used to be, which is a shame. A lot of the food isn't freshly prepared. This time, the wait for the food was okay, but it usually takes an hour or more.

MANUUUU…. The lumberjack steak is simply missing!!!! Otherwise, you're simply amazing 🤩

Delicious and a beautiful location!

This is a great, unpretentious restaurant in the camp site next to the river. The food is simple, but well prepared, good quality, and reasonable portions. The service can be rather slow, especially when they are busy, but the staff are friendly.

A large, well-stocked menu with German classics and varied seasonal dishes. Everyone should find what they are looking for here. I've been able to try a lot at Manu's and no matter whether it was salads, meat or dessert, I always went home happy and satisfied. The ambience, both indoors and outdoors, matches the surroundings and is wonderful for taking a break by the Rhine after a walk, cycling or visiting the swimming pool. The service is also very friendly and I always look forward to my next visit to the RheinPerle. Kind regards from Tiengen and see you soon :)

We ate schnitzel with fries, gravy, and salad, freshly prepared and beautifully and carefully presented. The salad dressing was very fine. The daily specials were beautifully presented; a feast for the eyes. The dishes are wonderful, very well cooked. The portions are well worth the price. One point deducted: we had to wait a very long time for our food, almost 45 minutes, BUT – it was very good. We'll be back.

Nice restaurant, right next to the campsite with an open covered area and a sun terrace. Cozy atmosphere with a view over the campsite and the Rhine. Good menu and desserts with wine list. Service very friendly. Payment in cash or cashless. If the restaurant is busy, it can take a while. But the food was really good and the prices were at campsite level. We can definitely recommend a visit.

As new long-term campers on the site, we always take advantage of the opportunity and allow ourselves to be tempted and pampered here and there in the evenings at the "RheinPerle". We also don't miss out on enjoying an ice cream sundae in the afternoon. The summer can come...! Super great schnitzel, chicken in the basket was also great and everything was very, very tasty, service was all very, very friendly, you can see they are happy to serve it, price performance is perfect, it would be nice if there were schnitzel with chicken too, for those who don't eat pork schnitzel, So I don't know if we will visit it again with family, everything is recommended

Come to the parking space here every now and then. Dinner is always the highlight.

On October 27th we were in the restaurant at around 2 p.m. There wasn't much going on. Nevertheless, we had to wait over an hour for our food. When we finally got it, we were disappointed. It was carelessly prepared and it wasn't good !!

This place is a gem, i just found it by chance. Super kind staff, kids menu, kids corner, drawing kits. We can't recommend it enough. Def will return.

The name by no means deserves the term pearl, pure Germany: regulation mold from the first minute. WHEN I spent around 17 euros (16.50 SFr), the card refused to serve me (system malfunctions for 30 minutes). The innkeeper's wife loudly called me a drunkard - no EMPATHY for the guest: expelled from the restaurant, Rheinperle synonymous with RHEINFALL

I ordered a game burger, but it was raw inside. When I asked the waitress, she said, “She will let you know in the kitchen.” There was never any response from the waitress and in the end the full price was charged with the justification “yes the kitchen said that should be the case with game”. I then tried to at least agree on a discount, but they weren't even willing to do that. Once and never again

Delicious food, good service. Very nice ambience ;-) The wonderful winter garden and the view of the Rhine are beautiful. Gladly again. Have been there over 10 times and have always been satisfied in the end. Reservations are recommended later in the evening.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The meat was thick and well fried. The fries were very good. You will definitely be full. The only criticism is that the burger was a bit cold, but that should definitely be taken into account. Maybe it was because there were 9 of us and we all received the food at the same time. In any case, gladly again.

Today the restaurant is busy. Very noisy. Staff in the kitchen completely overwhelmed. 1 ¼ hour waiting time for a Cordonbleu is beyond my pain and hunger threshold! If the service staff had provided the relevant information, the anger might have stuck in my throat and I wouldn't have written a review.

I had dinner with my family last night. We waited an hour for our food. The service was completely overwhelmed. The chicken was dry and in the pan for too long, the schnitzel was completely floury and not fried in the middle. We eat there often because we are from Waldshut, but it has never been this bad. Today we are all lying flat with stomach pain. We won't come anymore.

Great location right on the Rhine. The parking spaces directly in front of the terrace disturb the great view. The food is delicious and the portion is sufficient. Nice friendly staff.

Als Dauercamper besuchen wir die Rhein-Perle immer wieder regelmässig. Die Speisen mit Pfifferlingen, sind bompastisch gut! Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

The restaurant, located at a campsite, has plenty of space for guests. The food and drink menu offers plenty of choice at normal prices. The meal itself (had salmon steak, lemon sauce with vegetables and rice, and panna cotta in a glass as dessert) was excellently prepared and plentiful. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The sanitary facilities are in excellent condition. We'll be happy to come back!

Come regularly to the parking space in Waldshut and enjoy the location, the ambience and the RheinPerle restaurant. We are always extremely satisfied. The RheinPerle is top and always worth a visit. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Food with top price/performance. In the evening and especially on weekends you should reserve in advance.

Very good food with really fantastic service. I can only recommend it and will go there again for food. The onion roast beef is to die for. Went there several times, no matter what you eat, it tastes good. Went there with relatives and everyone was thrilled. I hope the current tenant stays there for a long time

Nice location, and a short walk for campers. Since we eat there often, I can only say it's great. The staff is always friendly no matter what time of day and even when it is full. In the evening you should reserve in advance. The food was always good and there were no long waiting times.

I ordered takeaway on site. I had a seat and also great service while I waited. I didn't have to wait long either. All in all, this went smoothly. I ordered a game burger and ate it 10 minutes later. The fries were very seasoned, but unfortunately there was no ketchup mayonnaise or similar sauces or the question of whether I needed ketchup mayonnaise. Unfortunately, I only heard a faint gamey taste from the meat. The burger patties were very hard. Unfortunately that was a real shame. Hope it was just a "bad day"

Wir verstehen Ihre Entscheidung und finden die Korrektur zu Gunsten der Mitarbeitenden sehr vernünftig. Je nach Einsatzplan war der Einsatz zu belastend und wenn dann noch TZ gearbeitet wird und andere Aufgaben zu Hause etc. noch erledigt werden sollten, ist die Erschöpfung und Demotivation "vorprogrammiert". Zufriedene und glückliche Mitarbeitenden sind es wert, montags und dienstags den Restaurant-Betrieb geschlossen zu halten. Wir jedenfalls wurde stets höflich und prompt bedient. Dear Ms. Bier, dear Mr. Bier Thank you for the information regarding the opening hours of the RESTAURANT from June 10, 2024. We understand your decision and find the correction very reasonable for the benefit of the employees. Depending on the deployment plan, the deployment was too stressful and if there is still some work to be done and other tasks at home etc. still have to be done, exhaustion and demotivation are "pre-programmed". Satisfied and happy employees are worth keeping the restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. In any case, we were always served politely and promptly. Your menu/price-performance ratio is right. Breakfast very small and unloving, 1 baked roll and a jam, no selection. Coffee came half an hour after breakfast, piping hot and watery, orders are no longer accepted after 10 a.m. even though it is written by 11 a.m. The boss was very unfriendly, but the service was friendly

We ate there twice during our stay. Simply super tasty at really good prices. The asparagus with beef fillet is highly recommended.

I had a small mixed salad, 3 green leaves and 4 different types of grated vegetables for 6 euros, yes, and a slice of bread with it, so sorry, I don't think the price is justified, although the salad was ok and the children's plate with nuggets and French fries is 9 euros also brutally steep in price.

Die Rheinperle liegt wunderschön direkt am Rhein und das WAR´ S!!! Die servierte Portionen sind so klein, dass das Gefühl entsteht, man ist in einem Diät- Camp. Die Preise dagegen schlagen Alarm!!! Ich habe einen Güggeli Salat (Sommer- Salat) für 19€ bestellt. Seine Menge entsprach nur bedingt der Menge, die meine Freundin in ihrem gemischten Salat für 6! € fand. Ach ja… Ich hätte fast vergessen… Es waren noch ein paar kleine Stücke Hähnchen auf dem Teller… Leider habe ich diese nicht durchgezählt. Ich schätze es waren 8-9 Stückchen. Zudem wurde, trotz dass einige an unserem Tisch noch Dessert gegessen haben, das Licht stark gedämmt. Man will schließlich Heim… Nie mehr Rheinperle.

Wir waren das erste Mal entäuscht 😒. Der neue Koch muss noch viel lernen. Ich bekam das Fleisch neu war aber auch nicht befriedigend. Details gebe gerne persönlich bekannt. Die Bedienung ist ausgezeichnet !

Mixed salad in advance/filet with mushroom cream sauce and fries/trout Müllerin with potatoes and brokoli: everything was super tasty and the “new” waiter was very nice and accommodating. Wir hatten Ein Käse Fondue mit Steinpilzen und vor weg einen Feldsalat und muss sagen wir sind super überrascht wie lecker es war.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, leider sind die Portionen viel kleiner geworden. Wir überlegen uns, ob es sich noch lohnt, dort essen zu gehen. Im Lokal war es sehr kalt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Leider hat der Betreiber sehr stark übertriebenen mit seiner Preiserhöhung. Die Restaurants kamen durch die gesenkten Mehrwertssteuer nach CORONA in den Genuss weniger Steuer Abgaben zu bezahlen. Schon in der Zeit hat zb das Alpen Cordon Bleu von 14.90 auf 17.90 aufgeschlagen und meiner Meinung nach ist die Portion geschrumpft. Jetzt kostet das Cordon Bleu schon 20,- Euro, die Portion na ja wenn man zuhause noch ein Nachtisch isst wird man satt. Die Erhöhung auf die normalen Mehrwertssteuer von 19 % rechtfertigt die Erhöhung nicht. Der Gast hat von der Senkung der Mehrwertssteuer auch nicht weniger bezahlt, im Gegenteil. Schön kommen bis jetzt noch ein paar Schweizer zum essen. Uns Camper wird es zu teuer, wir kochen selber oder gehen zum Italiener. Einfach schade........
