Tuvimos la cena de despedida de nuestra gira en grupo aquí, y qué experiencia tan magnífica. El servicio y la comida eran excelentes. Gran ambiente en el restaurante. La mejor comida de todo el viaje. Nuestro guía a pie para ese día estaba muy impresionado de que fuéramos aquí, y les dio altas calificaciones también! Muy recomendable para una cena muy agradable.

Fantastic experience. Perfectly situated near the main bridge, this establishment has the qualities of a local institution. Fantastic indoor and outdoor areas, the ambience is busy without being too loud or chaotic. I ordered the rolled beef which was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender, wonderfully seasoned and complemented by the red wine jus on a bed of mashed potatoes. Table service was friendly, attentive and helpful. They provided recommendations on request and made sure to check in to see if I needed anything.

Ein sehr sehr schönes und vor allem leckeres Restaurant. Mit sehr viel Raffinesse wurde das Essen zu bereitet und es hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Was uns va gut gefallen hat, das Produkte aus der Region verwendet wurden! Sowohl der Fisch, das Fleisch und das Gemüse und auch auf Saisonale Produkte wie jetzt Spargel wurde Wert gelegt! Sehr zu empfehlen Plus sehr motiviertes Personal !!!

I had a good meal in the Nepumuk restaurant.  The beef roulade and the side dish were hot and the portion was rather large and very tasty. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. The menu offers a large selection of dishes.  The service was attentive and friendly. I would like to eat there again.

Alles Mittelmass - ausser den Preisen, die sind weit oben angesiedelt. Ein paniertes Schnitzelchen mit (kalten) Bratkartoffeln für € 24.-- hat die Obergrenze erreicht. Das gilt auch für den sehr guten Ziegelstein, bei dem man jede Sättigungsbeilage (Kartoffeln € 8.--) extra bestellen muss. Da gibt es in allernächster Nähe Besseres. Nett und aufmerksam sind die Mitarbeiter.

Unfortunately the service is a bit chaotic, but everyone is very nice. The reservation was for 1:45h and this was communicated several times. This makes the visit feel a bit rushed. The food (roulade) was great, the pasta was a bit tasteless unfortunately. When ordering drinks, the service didn't really know what you wanted, even though it was written out on the menu. Seemed a bit strange to us. All in all, a solid visit, but we wouldn't go again.

Traditional and refined German dining, very nice ambiance

Not sufficient for a civil wedding. Contact was great and uncomplicated, high praise. The food in the restaurant was also very good at a small spontaneous rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately there was no trace of the good quality on the day of the wedding. Portions small, gnocchi for roast turkey partly burnt and just quickly fried hot. After the salad, soup and main course we were still a bit hungry. There is usually more. The service, I think the main waiter, was again fantastic and really had a blast! did an excellent job!! Rooms for overnight stays are quite expensive, some with IKEA interior furnishings such as lamps etc... You probably pay mainly for the location. Too bad.

Exquisite “home cooking” in a cozy atmosphere with extremely friendly and patient service. We are happy to have chosen this fine yet down-to-earth restaurant and will be happy to come back.

The Nepomuk is a solidly good restaurant in a prime location below the castle and directly on the Neckar in Heidelberg. Excellent food is served in a cozy atmosphere. The service could be a little more relaxed, especially when the restaurant is full on a Saturday evening.

The service staff and kitchen crew deserve a high level of gratitude, appreciation and recognition for their commitment. The trout dish as a whole is of the best quality and the preparation is at a star level.

In 2024 we also spent our end of the year at the Wirtshaus zum Nepomuk and were very excited again. The New Year's Eve dinner menu was once again very well put together, absolutely delicious, the service was again very accommodating and the atmosphere was just lovely and cozy. Very tasteful ambience, great food and excellent service. This sums up our New Year's Eve dinner in the Nepomuk inn at the old bridge. The evening on the last day of the year left nothing to be desired for us. Always my pleasure.

Nepomuk ist leider Nepp Ihr werdet etwas linkisch gefragt, ob ihr auch Brot wollt. Was selbstverständlich ist, kostet hier 3,90 Euro pro Person. 0,25 Wasser gibt es nicht mehr, sondern 0,5 aus dem Wasserhahn. Die Speisen sind überteuert aber gut (Croutons sind selbst gemacht !). Der Service ist freundlich, aber zu aufdringlich (oft: wollt ihr noch etwas bestellen). Stephan

Food very good. Service tried hard, but seems fake. Definitely expandable. From 9 p.m. onwards, unoccupied tables were covered, cleaned, etc. This brings unrest into the restaurant and you get the impression that you have to leave. Maybe more appearance than reality. It's a shame actually.

The food is not only a visual highlight, but also impresses with its excellent taste. The dishes are perfectly seasoned and are always served hot. The restaurant is characterized by its loving furnishings. The prices are a little higher, but definitely justified. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

Normal restaurant with some disappointments. I was there with my companion on December 25th and 28th, 2024. The starter was quite good (salmon tartare)...but way too overpriced for this small amount (16€). The pumpkin cream soup was quite good, but there was a nasty layer of cream or sour cream on top. I have never been served anything like this before. After the starter I suddenly had no cutlery left; It can't be acceptable that I have to use the same cutlery for the main course in a restaurant as for the starter?!? If you order bitter lemon, you get this strange "Thomas Henry" instead, which tastes very bland: €3.90 for 0.2 L: Hallelujah (no comparison to the original from "Schweppes")! But even better: when I wanted to order the second ginger ale on the second visit to the restaurant, the waitress said that I would get a new lime. This note was completely unnecessary as it is a given. Or does she really want to pour the second ginger ale into the old glass with the old lime? The schnitzel wasn't bad, but a bit dry...as were the fried potatoes. The small schnitzel costs €24: that's just shameless! The beef roulade was ok, but too dry both times. The red cabbage was very tasty the first time...but too tough the second time. The first time, each of us got a bowl of red cabbage with the main course... the second time, the two of us only got one bowl: what else can you call that other than "withholding benefits"? For this price range you can expect an amuse bouche in this restaurant, but you don't have to. That's why I found it very strange that the waiter "pushed" it onto all customers (not just us): €3.90 for some bread and spread. And it gives the impression that this is somehow “part of” eating; Which is why guests usually don't ask if it costs extra, but often say "yes". In general, the price-performance ratio is not at all in balance. The chocolate cake was grossly overpriced at €15 for its small quantity. I get a first-class “Zuppa inglese” in a much larger quantity for just €6. The seats have a narrow, thin and very ugly gray "felt covering"...instead of comfortable and beautiful seat cushions: that doesn't fit at all with the otherwise beautiful ambience and the great location on the Old Bridge. The crampedness in this restaurant was very unpleasant: apparently every square centimeter is used there to make more profit... but as a customer you have to squeeze past the tables, chairs and customers to get to the bathroom: that's all I know from pubs and discos! What struck me as a very negative thing there was that it was extremely loud due to very noisy women and men calling, laughing and screaming: a restaurant is not a cemetery... but it is also not a pub and certainly not a football stadium. It should be the duty of restaurant management to remind certain individuals of a minimum level of civility. Because of all the yelling and screaming, I found it difficult to have a conversation with my companion and the stay turned out to be "stressful". An acquaintance of my companion also left the restaurant early because she was closest to the “Brüll table”. The service was overall acceptable, nothing special. Because of all these incidents, it's not even enough for two stars. It's a shame...because the restaurant could be much better if it wanted to... Comments on the reaction to my review: I simply described what I experienced truthfully. The defiant answer with several people “in Cc” automatically “disqualifies” the author. Thank you also for your “mental health”: at least it was enough for two university degrees. Mr. Author also mixes up several facts, so let's leave it at that!

Normales Restaurant mit einigen Enttäuschungen. Ich war mit meiner Begleitung am 25. und 28. Dezember 2024 dort. Die Vorspeise war recht gut (Lachs-Tartar)...aber viel zu überteuert für diese geringe Menge (16 €). Die Kürbiscreme-Suppe war zwar recht gut, aber obendrauf war eine garstige Sahne- oder Schmand-Schicht. So etwas habe ich bis dato noch nicht serviert bekommen. Nach der Vorspeise hatte ich plötzlich kein Besteck mehr; es kann doch nicht angehen, dass ich in einem Restaurant für den Hauptgang dasselbe Besteck benutzen muss wie für die Vorspeise?!? Wenn man Bitter Lemon bestellt, bekommt man stattdessen diesen komischen "Thomas Henry", der sehr fade schmeckt: 3,90 € für 0,2 L: Halleluja (kein Vergleich zum Original von "Schweppes")! Aber noch besser: als ich beim zweiten Restaurant-Besuch den zweiten Ginger Ale bestellen wollte, meinte die Bedienung, dass ich eine neue Limette bekommen würde. Dieser Hinweis war völlig unnötig, da es eine Selbstverständlichkeit ist. Oder möchte sie etwa wahren Ernstes den zweiten Ginger Ale in das alte Glas mit der alten Limette kippen? Das Schnitzel war nicht schlecht, aber etwas trocken...ebenso die Bratkartoffeln. Die Rinderroulade war in Ordnung, aber beide Male zu trocken. Der Rotkohl war beim ersten Mal sehr lecker...aber beim zweiten Male zu zäh. Beim ersten Mal hat jeder von beiden zum Hauptgang ein Schälchen Rotkohl bekommen...beim zweiten Mal haben wir zu zweit nur ein Schälchen bekommen: wie kann man das anders nennen als "Vorenthaltung von Leistungen"? Für diese Preisklasse kann man in diesem Restaurant ein Amuse Bouche erwarten, muss man aber nicht. Gerade daher fand ich es sehr befremdlich, dass es vom Kellner allen Kunden "aufgeschwatzt" wurde (nicht nur bei uns): 3,90 € für etwas Brot und Aufstrich. Und es wird dabei der Anschein erweckt, als ob das irgendwie zum Essen "dazu gehören" würde; weswegen die Gäste idR nicht fragen, ob es extra kostet, sondern oft "ja" sagen. Überhaupt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ganz und gar nicht im Gleichgewicht. Das Schokoküchlein war für seine geringe Menge mit 15 € maßlos überteuert. Da bekomme ich für nur 6 € eine erstklassige "Zuppa inglese" in viel größerer Menge. Die Sitze sind mit einem schmalen, dünnen und sehr hässlichen, grauen "Filzbelag" versehen...anstatt mit bequemen und schönen Sitzkissen: das passt überhaupt nicht zum ansonsten schönen Ambiente und der tollen Lage an der Alten Brücke. Sehr unangenehm war die Enge in diesem Restaurant: anscheinend wird dort jeder Quadratzentimeter genutzt, um mehr Profit zu machen...dafür aber muss man sich als Kunde durch die Tische und Stühle quetschen, um in's Bad zu gelangen: das kenne ich nur von Kneipen und Discotheken! Was mir dort sehr negativ aufgefallen ist: es war extrem laut aufgrund sehr geräuschvoll rufender, lachender und schreiender Frauen und Männer: ein Restaurant ist zwar kein Friedhof...es ist aber auch keine Kneipe und schon gar nicht ein Fußballstadion. Es sollte zur Pflicht der Restaurant-Leitung gehören, gewisse Individuen auf ein Mindestmaß an gesittetem Verhalten hinzuweisen. Vor lauter Gegröhle und Gebrülle habe ich mich mit meiner Begleitung nur schwerlich unterhalten können und der Aufenthalt gestaltete sich als "stressig". Auch eine Bekannte meiner Begleitung hat das Restaurant frühzeitig verlassen, weil sie dem "Brüll-Tisch" am nächsten war. Die Bedienung war insgesamt akzeptabel, nichts Besonderes. Aufgrund all' dieser Vorfälle reicht es nicht einmal für zwei Sterne. Schade...denn das Restaurant könnte deutlich besser sein, es wollte denn...

The Nepomuk restaurant impresses across the board. The food was excellent: the onion roast was fried to perfection, the spaetzle with extra sauce was a real treat, and the rump steak was medium rare. What was particularly impressive was the great wine selection, which perfectly rounded off the culinary experience. The ambience of the restaurant was also beautiful – stylish and cozy. The friendly and attentive staff made sure that you feel completely comfortable. Although the restaurant is in an upscale price range, the quality of the food, the beautiful ambience and the great location justify this somewhat.

The service was good and the taste was good. The most important thing is that I actually ate organic cauliflower in Heidelberg. I was amazed. Recommended

Maravilloso ambiente con un servicio atento. Exactamente lo que esperaba. Pedí el filete de un minuto y fue increíble, al igual que el chucrut y los lados; mi esposo encontró el filete más grande no tan tierno, lo que fue decepcionante, pero en general volvería. Las porciones son bastante grandes.

On June 9th, 2024 I was at the Wirthaus zum Nepomuk. A traditional German restaurant whose ambience takes you to Bavaria. Somehow this inn gives me the feeling of being a hiker taking a break at an alpine pasture. At Nepomuk I had a beef roulade with mustard, cucumbers, onions and bacon and mashed potatoes. For dessert, homemade crème brûlée with the finest Tahitian vanilla. First the main course. The beef roulade surprised me a lot, I had very high expectations, especially because my mother always made beef roulades. The Nepomuk even exceeded my expectations, the meat was juicy, tender and spicy, the sauce was great and also spicy. The mashed potatoes and red cabbage were perfect to round everything off and pick up the flavor from the roulade and sauce. This beef roulade is very close to my mother's, so an absolute recommendation. Now let's come to dessert, the crème brûlée had a wonderful crust, inside there was a vanilla cream, which for me was currently the tastiest vanilla cream that I have ever had in a crème brûlée. The fruits complemented the sweetness well with their acidity. The drink was a cocktail, unfortunately I can't remember the exact name, it was also really good and tasted like lemon. In addition, alcohol can only be perceived discreetly. I would like to briefly praise the service, there was once a problem that one of my orders was forgotten. The owner solved this very kindly and made us very happy with an explanation and a schnapps. I also had a very pleasant conversation with our waiter when paying.

We had a wonderful evening, the food and service are really a 10/10. It's definitely worth a visit.

Hicimos una reserva aquí a tiempo. Llegó a los 18. 30 en lunes - noche. En 30 minutos el resto estaba lleno! Servicio amable. Buena cocina alemana. Como dicen aquí: gut bürgerliche Küche. Bonito interior. En el exterior tienen una ‘Jagdhütte’ para la temporada.

We were here for dinner on Sunday evening. The roulade with mashed potatoes was outstanding, the lentils with spaetzle and the schnitzel were also great. Our waiter was very attentive and there was no wait even though the restaurant was busy. The ambience is very nice, only the bench is a bit uncomfortable, but there are plenty of cushions. We will definitely come back and recommend the restaurant for every visit to Heidelberg.

Very tasty food, courteous staff, gladly again

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön, für Touristen bestimmt ein Hingucker. Das Essen war im Gegensatz zum Ambiente einfach schlecht. Die trockene Ente sah grau aus und war zäh. Die Gnocchi mit Kürbis eine Pampe ohne Geschmack, die wenigen winzigen Kürbiswürfel wurden von der ungekochten Tomate verwässert...und der trockene Salat auf dem ganzen Essen verdeckte die Speise . Ich habe mir Olivenöl bringen lassen. Das Risotto mit Lachsforelle schwamm in einer Soße was dem Fisch gut tat, der war nämlich trocken usw. Der Höhepunkt war aber ein Kellner der dreist und überheblich bei der Bestellungsaufnahme war. Wir kommen mit Freunden die in Heidelberg zu Besuch sind bestimmt nicht mehr hier her.

Wer in Heidelberg GUT Essen gehen möchte ist im Restaurant Nepomuk genau an der richtigen Adresse. Wir waren mit Geschäftskunden zu 8 Personen vor Ort und hatten einen fantastischen, kulinarischen Abend. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Service!! Tolles Team - aufmerksam, humorvoll und dabei IMMER freundlich. Ein nachhaltig Guter Abend !

Getting a beer three quarters of an hour before work was extremely difficult. We were left standing for 10 minutes (possibly in the hope that we would leave again), then the boss had to be fetched and we were finally placed outside. Not a nice experience (even if the waiter tried to explain/excuse it when asked... - "the tables had already been cleaned...")

Never ever again!!! Especially to all Indians never ever set foot into this racist restaurant. I was visiting Heidelberg and something unlawful and unjust happened. I entered the restaurant and asked the Chef for a table. Getting a table always goes through the main Chef/Owner of the restaurant. Renowned for its Bavarian German cuisine and housed in a building in the historic old down established in 1703, you expect to experience the rich history through your culinary senses. Food is for everyone they say. Does it really check the race you belong to? No, it does not. But apparently it does for the Chef of this restaurant. He literally told me it’s “invite only for the guests staying at the restaurant”. I found it strange the way he said it because it wasn’t stated anywhere that’s it’s invite only and I left and ate at a Thai restaurant next door and asked the waitress there who was kind and polite. She told me there are no reservations at the German restaurant. I quickly looked up trip advisor reviews and realized this place has a long history of being racist. At this point it dawned on me that he “discriminated” against me as I was an Indian and didn’t want me to be seated at his restaurant. This is against the German law and anywhere in the world. A medieval restaurant in a medieval city.. At this point I was furious and I went back to restaurant after having my dinner at the Thai restaurant, to talk to the loser chef. I asked him I didn’t find any information anywhere that stated it’s for invited guests only. He pretended not to hear me, I restated that he intentionally discriminated me based on my race to not enter the restaurant. He tried to spin it saying he thought I was asking to use the restroom. Why would anyone ask for a table, to use the restroom? A blatant lie by the Chef, ridiculous! I told him at a time when an Indian/Black American is going to be America’s President you have the race card being used to deny entry to dine at a restaurant to individuals from a specific race, taking us back to the days of Bussing exclusion. While the US has moved so far beyond race in the true sense, you see a small town that looks beautiful on the outside having a 1000 year history with a filthy restaurant beautiful on the outside but sick on the inside. Racism is a disease and we as a society need to fight it everyday until we get equality in the true sense which is only idealistic at this points I highly recommend no Indian, step foot into this restaurant ever!

We were able to celebrate our wedding in September 2024 at the Wirtshaus zum Nepomuk. We and, without exception, all of the guests at the wedding were absolutely thrilled by the atmosphere, the warm hospitality of the service team and the incredible food that was created especially for us. The exclusively vegetarian menu, at our request, was the absolute highlight of the day. Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Heidelberg. Absolute recommendation from us!

Really great food, great service

I didn't make a dinner reservation and ended up eating outside. Even though it was outside, the heater was on so I was able to eat warmly! I was impressed by the staff's careful consideration^^ The food I ordered was traditional German food, not something you would normally eat, so it was delicious and very satisfying!! Thank you to all the staff for being kind and pleasant and allowing me to have a happy evening during my trip🩷

Eher ein Gut als ein Befriedigend. Aber bei Tripadvisor müssten die Bewertungsabstände dringend überarbeitet werden!!! Auf ein "Befriedigend" kann kein "Sehr Gut" folgen. Die Reservierung klappte. Haben im Außenbereich gegessen. Tafelspitz, eher guter Durchschnitt, aber ein sehr gutes Schweinerückensteacks in einer tollen Rahmsosse und tatsächlich hausgemachten Spätzle. Aufmerksamer Service. Und dann doch ein kulinarischer Tiefschlag. Auf die berechtigte Kritik, dass der Weißwein zu warm ist, wurden uns Eiswürfel angeboten. Daran merkte man dann doch, dass sich zuviele Amerikaner in Heidelberg tummeln. Einem Mitteleuropäer sollte man so etwas nicht anbieten, sondern einen richtig gekühlten Wein - gerade in dieser Gegend.

Very unfriendly staff. We just wanted to drink something, Aperol Spritz for €9.50 was questionable, the same Aperol costs €6.50 one street further. Since we didn't order anything to eat, we were supposed to leave after 20 minutes - there was no mention beforehand that we had to order food to stay there.

Mitten in der Altstadt und trotzdem ruhig in der Außengastronomie. Aufmerksame Bedienung, tolle Hauptgerichte, leckerer Nachtisch. Einziger Kritikpunkt das Gericht mit Schweinefilet war etwas zu klein bemessen.

Die Begrüßung war ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Stimmung / Atmosphäre fröhlich und der Service sehr aufmerksam und umsichtig. Die Speisekarte bot für jeden Geschmack die entsprechenden Speisen und Getränke. Auch hier findet der Gast durchaus regionale Küche. Unsere Gerichte kamen sehr schön angerichtet an den Tisch und haben köstlich geschmeckt. Dank an die Küche. Die Location ist thematisch und konsequent mit einem sehr guten Geschmack dekoriert. Überall findet das Auge etwas, ohne dass das Gesamtbild überladen wird. Das Restaurant hat eine tolle Lage direkt an der alten Brücke und bietet bei schönem Wetter einen Außenbereich. Zum Altstadtkern bzw. der Fußgängerzone sind es nur wenige Gehminuten.

Absolutely stupendous food and friendly service. We went here as we read good reviews about authentic, traditional food and we were not disappointed. My husband and I had different soups, he had salmon trout on a bed of lentils with Dijon mustard based dressing, I had gone to get traditional schnitzel and it was devine. We always like to go somewhere really nice on the last night of our holiday, this wasn't the last night but I think we could be back before we go home. Forget the fast food places on the main street and squares, go to this restaurant beside the gate on the old bridge. It may be more expensive but worth every euro.

Unfortunately, a group cancellation was made at very short notice. Since we relied on the firm commitment here, we now have no alternative that can be reserved. This is very annoying and could have been avoided if either it had been canceled earlier or the reservation had not been confirmed in the first place...

We made reservations here early for our civil wedding. Unfortunately our reservation was canceled 1.5 weeks in advance. Now we're really at a loss because many restaurants won't accept short-term reservations for our group. The contact was very friendly, but unfortunately it's a really stupid situation for us.

You're always a little suspicious when you go to a restaurant in a tourist hot spot... In this one the scouting was good and the worry was completely unnecessary! A very successful meal in an absolutely professional context. Nothing has been left to chance here. Beautiful, modern, historical furnishings, good lighting, enough kitsch to make it comfortable. Menu designed so that everyone can find something, wine list also suitable for lovers; Prices in an acceptable range. Service professional and friendly. House-style snails Spicy, not too garlicky, original with the mushrooms Tafelspitz broth Inserts good, broth good, almost a little too concentrated Roast beef with onions Two thin slices, very unusual but beautifully tender; Sauce strong, spaetzle comme il faut. Onions braised until very soft; I prefer them crispy. Boneless trout Properly fried, actually boneless, a bit plain. Very good restaurant. We had lentils with spaetzle and Vienna sausages and gnochi stuffed with spinach and ricotta and a side salad. Our dog was immediately given a large bowl of water. Very good service and very friendly staff. Very romantic. Definitely a recommendation!

Only 2 stars for the food, as points are deducted for price, friendliness and service. When we arrived at the restaurant we were not greeted in a friendly manner, rather arrogantly and like supplicants. Before a guest is allowed to enter the guest room, they must remain in front of the door until the manager in the guest room has checked whether the guests have reserved. Afterwards, entry into the guest room is granted. We would recommend rethinking the current customer reception concept. For a more customer-friendly approach, the list of names could, for example, be available outside at the reception. The check-in process at the restaurant door will be familiar to regular customers, but will seem rather strange to new guests. The time slots that had to be adhered to created the feeling of feeding in chords. We didn't feel comfortable or welcome. We won't come a second time. Despite the fact that we didn't receive any appreciation from the entire staff, we gave an above-average tip. There was no thanks for the tip! Apparently we are not the only guests with such experiences. We can therefore understand the other negative reviews in various review portals.

Unfortunately, when we arrived we weren't greeted as warmly as we expected. Instead, we had to wait in the courtyard until the manager checked our reservation. We felt unwelcome and treated condescendingly. As if we were supplicants. Unfortunately, because it was Saturday, we could only make reservations in time slots. We had the first time slot and felt rushed because of it. The service was very tense. When we wanted to place our orders one by one, we were told that we should order the starters first and then the main course. No one asked for an aperitif. It seemed as if they wanted to process us quickly. As a starter we ordered tomato soup and salad. Then the Saumagen, asparagus with schnitzel and twice the roast pork. We were satisfied with the food. The roast pork, however, was not as tender as butter as described on the menu, but rather dry. Still, overall the food was okay. The waitress seemed very stressed and had to keep restocking things quickly. This hectic pace has passed on to us. We weren't recommended dessert either. There probably wasn't enough time for that anymore. Unfortunately, the food couldn't make up for the overall poor service. Actually, the customer should be king. Unfortunately there was no sign of this. The service is not adequate for this higher priced segment. Therefore we do not recommend it.

We went to Nepomuk for a business lunch with colleagues from the USA and everyone present praised the restaurant highly. I can only confirm this praise, the service was very good and the food was excellent! An official invoice including a company address was not only possible, but was even suggested directly without prior request from the staff. Thank you for the great evening!

Neben mehreren geschäftlichen Aufentehalten bin ich nunmehr zum zweiten Mal privat im Nepomuk an zwei Abenden gewesen. Sehr gute Speisen, zuvorkommende Personal, die Familie war begeistert.

The atmosphere was cozy, but we were so disappointed by the food. Goulash was a disaster. The meat of goulash was super dry and not much flavor. Pumpkin ravioli was soggy. We didn’t enjoy the meal. Wouldn’t recommend to come here.

Food was good, but the price is not appropriate. What I find problematic: we specifically ordered a children's schnitzel plate for our son. When we checked out we were told that we had to pay for an adult schnitzel because our son would have gotten a normal portion. Our son's portion of schnitzel, with two small schnitzels, was not recognizable as a large portion. 24 euros for two small pork schnitzels is definitely excessive, especially since we ordered a children's plate. The icing on the cake was that we didn't even get an invoice, just an interim invoice. This is not tax compliant.

German cuisine is also modern and with sophistication. Thank you for that. The next Tafelspitz won't be long in coming. 😋

Wir waren zur mit 24 Personen zur Weihnachtsfeier 2023 dort. Zusammen mit einer anderen Firma im selben Saal. Das Essen war lauwarm und sehr übersichtlich. Wir baten um diverse Nachschlagsportionen, nach Druckausübung wurden uns dann noch 2 Portionen Spätzle nachgereicht. Für die Vegetarier gab es nur eine Mini-Portion, für unsere Veganer noch weniger. Bei den Veganern wurde uns erst bei Einkehr "verraten" was es gibt. Es war so etwas ähnliches wie Ravioli. 8 Stück. Lauwarm. Auch hier konnte kein Nachschlag bestellt werden. Ab und zu kam jemand herum und wollte Gläser auffüllen. Die Flaschen wurden nicht wie gewünscht auf den Tisch zur Selbstbedienung gestellt. Um Mitternacht mussten wir uns entscheiden, ob wir für € 180,00 pro Stunde länger bleiben wollten, ansonsten sollten wir das Lokal räumen. Fazit: Es war weder ein besonderes Essen, die Qualität war durchschnittlich, die Menge eindeutig zu wenig, viele Essensportionen nur lauwarm. Bei dem hohen Preis für ein 4-Gang-Menü hatten wir unsere Erwartungen viel zu hoch geschraubt. Alles in Allem sehr enttäuschend. Wir werden das Lokal nicht weiter empfehlen. Die ganze Belegschaft war sehr enttäuscht!

Schönes Ambiente im alpinen Stil, Essen ok - Bedienung dürfte etwas freundlicher und aufmerksamer sein. Kein Danke fürs Trinkgeld, allgemein wenig Freundlichkeit - passt nicht zum Gesamtbild und den aufgerufenen Preisen.

The restaurant's atmosphere was great! Food was good but nothing special which we would've expected at that price level. Service was okay, but they were inflexible about menu changes and sometimes waitresses were inattentive. Overall good, but not extraordinarily impressive. 4 stars.

Schönes Lokal, saisonal geschmückt. Feine Desserts. Gute Lage

Wir waren letzten Freitag zur betrieblichen Weihnachtsfeier hier essen. Wie schon in anderen Rezensionen angemerkt, ist das Restaurant durchaus angenehm eingerichtet. Als vegan lebende Person bin ich ja immer darauf eingestellt, dass die Küche in Restaurants nicht zwangsläufig so geübt ist wie in ihren Omni-Gerichten. Aber die Hauptspeise und der Salat, die mir hier vorgesetzt wurde, waren lächerlich: Der Salat an sich war zwar lecker, schien aber schon deutlich kleiner portioniert als der vegetarische oder der mit Speck. Nagut, warte ich auf die Hauptspeise. Das waren dann 7 winzige Tortellini mit Spinatfüllung und ~150g Gemüsemischung, wie ich sie gefroren im Supermarkt bekommen hätte. Das Gemüse schmeckte nichtmal gewürzt! Traurig. Ich bin keine kleine Esserin, aber von der Menge würde keine erwachsene Person satt. Hat die Küche für die veganen Gerichte einfach das Fleisch und die Bratensoße einer Steakmahlzeit weggenommen? Beschämend. Vorspeise und Dessert waren allerdings gut und die Portionen vernünftig. Bedienung war auch angenehm und immer präsent, hat lediglich meinen Espresso beim ersten Versuch vergessen. Kein Problem, das geht mal unter. Für Omni-Gesellschaften ist es sicher empfehlenswert, Gruppen mit vegetarisch-veganen Personen rate ich zu anderen Restaurants.

Vorzüglich zubereitete Speisen. Nettes Personal. Als kleines Manko habe ich die im Hintergrund laufende, nervige Weihnachtsmusik erlebt.

Das Nepomuk ist ein mittelgroßes Restaurant, mit richtig schöner Atmosphäre, schon der Eingang zum Restaurant ist richtig gemütlich. Das Essen kam richtig heiß an den Tisch an, die Qualität der Speisen waren sehr zufrieden stellend, die Kellner waren stets präsent und sehr freundlich, ich habe mich in der Zeit im Nepomuk sehr wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder. Parken kann man nicht direkt am Restaurant, für mich bot sich das Parkhaus 13 sehr gut an dann konnte man auch ein kleinen Verdauungs Spaziergang machen.

Super freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Schon beim Anruf für die Reservierung. Versuchen alles möglich zu machen. Super gemütliches und wunderschönes Ambiente. Und sehr leckeres Essen. Können die Suppe mit den Flädle, den Zwiebelrostbraten und die Schweinerückensteaks mit Spätzle sehr empfehlen. Die Soßen waren mega. Fleischmenge war top. Das nächste Mal fragen wir noch nach ein paar mehr von den leckeren Spätzle 😉. Ein toller Abend.
