Unfortunately, only bottled beer and no draft beer!!!! It's a shame that guests are treated like this. Please definitely improve this, otherwise many guests will definitely not come back.

Unfortunately, not anymore. I've been going there on and off for over 40 years. Unfortunately, the portions are getting smaller, and the prices are rising disproportionately, so the value for money is no longer good. The service isn't as enthusiastic anymore either (but they still generally do a good job).

Unfortunately, upon arrival, we weren't greeted. We stood for two minutes in front of the sign telling us to wait outside. Afterward, we decided to go in ourselves. The service was generally just okay. The food itself was delicious. We ordered the chicken schnitzel. However, the value for money here wasn't right in my opinion. Since everything is generally rather expensive, I found it simply overpriced. The food comes with fries, and they charged €0.70 for a bag of mayo. Conclusion: You can do it, but you don't have to.

The inn is quite nice. You can sit comfortably in the courtyard under the trees or on a covered terrace. The interior looks OK too. The food was very tasty 👍. From ordering to serving, it was also quite quick. The taste is definitely worth going back... The price isn't cheap, but in my opinion, it's fair for the quantity and, above all, the taste 🤤.

The service from the staff and waiters is outstanding; they deserve special mention. The food, no matter what, is always perfect. The meat is excellent. I drive 320 km and if I'm in Wiesbaden, I'll eat there. The experience is also due to the waiters. And the good food.

We had a family celebration here. Everyone was happy with their food. The service has always been very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is very pleasant. However, I find the prices for most dishes to be significantly too high (the price-performance ratio isn't quite right).

We had reserved a table outside, specifically in the shade, and were initially assigned a table in the blazing sun. We declined and were then assigned another table, which we would have taken had the other waitress not appeared and said we couldn't sit there either, as it was reserved. After some back-and-forth discussion, the waitress finally said we should just sit down and "go headfirst" and take our seats. That was too much, and we left the restaurant immediately. At least the restaurant saw us!!!

Amazing food. Authentic German food. The chicken schnitzel and apple strudel were delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They have a playground for the kids and there’s parking. The service was friendly and they speak English. Perfect place.

We love coming here in the summer, as they also accept reservations for the outdoor area and there are plenty of umbrellas. The food is rustic and delicious. Across the street, there's a mini-golf course for children and teenagers. Parking is available.

We ordered through Wolt. The stated delivery time was 60-70 minutes (which is a long time), but it's now been 106 minutes, or 1 hour 46 minutes, and the food still hasn't arrived. I called about 15 minutes ago and was told the driver would be here any minute... I won't order from here again and wouldn't recommend it.

A nice location in itself, including a playground and mini-golf course (adventure golf?). But unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is a complete disaster. We ordered takeout because we didn't want to infect anyone due to illness. I paid 56.20!!! for two schnitzels, including sauces and salad. On top of that, the second sauce was missing. So we went back. No problem, they immediately apologized and gave us some more. The portion in the cup was ridiculous, so we went back and asked if the cup could at least be somewhat full. Finally home, tried the food, and the portion for the price was a disaster. The potatoes were okay, but already cold. The schnitzel was bad, 2 mm thin in some places, and the breading was okay. The only really good things were the salad dressing and the salad itself, which were amazing! The green sauce was okay. But we still had cranberry bears with us, for some reason. For this price, I can definitely get better products for less in the area. It's a shame, this was our first and last time; we're hungry. The restaurant wasn't full; I'd estimate it was about one-third full.

The delivery service is very good. You can also change the side dish, and the delivery time is good. The food always tastes good. My conclusion: I highly recommend the Straßenmühle.

Beautiful beer garden with hearty food.

Five of us, along with two small children, dined at the Straßenmühle. It was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon/evening. The food was very good and the portions generous. The restaurant itself was very clean and tidy. The attached playground was absolutely fantastic for our children (3.5 years and 15 months). We would love to come back.

We ate there today, and I was thrilled. Super friendly service, the food was excellent, not to mention the atmosphere. I grew up next door to the Strassenmühle and went there every day. Not much has changed, and the rustic atmosphere has been preserved – fantastic. The waitress was even able to tell us about the inn's past. For me, it was like a trip back to my childhood 60 years ago. Thank you for that, and keep up the good work. Best regards, Thomas

The prices were extortionate, and the spaetzle were swimming in fat as if they'd been deep-fried! (Spaetzle with sauce) My friend spent half the afternoon on the toilet... better not again.

The Straßenmühle Inn boasts a truly beautiful beer garden and a cozy, traditional atmosphere. The Bavarian cuisine is delicious – the schnitzel was outstanding! You can tell the food is freshly cooked here. What disappointed us, however, were the prices: A very small side salad costs €6.50, which we thought should be included with a main course like schnitzel. The water (0.8 l for €7.50) was also significantly higher than expected. Side dishes like sauce also cost extra – it adds up quickly. Nevertheless, we'd happily return for the atmosphere and the good food – perhaps with a little more preparation for the prices.

Great beer garden with a playground for children.

It's a very nice restaurant. I played mini golf beforehand and then had something to eat and drink. The wheat beer was very tasty, as was the leek cream soup. The waiter was super nice even though it was a bit crowded we had good service. It is very quiet because it is rather remote but still easily accessible. Top restaurant 👍🏻

We were there on Sunday, May 4th. Six of us ate there and it was really, really good. The food was very tasty and fresh, you get large portions. The desserts are also highly recommended, we tried three of them 😅. Our waiter was attentive and very friendly, we were always asked if everything was okay. I can't understand guests complaining about the prices. The prices are more than reasonable for what you get.

It's a shame, I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for the orders. Food arrived cold, but still very tasty. The advertised rye bread was any 0815 grain mix bread cut into slices almost 3cm thick. Conclusion: Cold, slightly soggy schnitzel with soft croquettes and an olay hand cheese with half a grain bread on the side. Unfortunately the last time I ordered here, even locally will no longer be an option for me after this disgrace. Very discouraging that the prices in the restaurants are constantly going up but the quality is going down.

Food not good and for a schnitzel over 30,-? Even the four-year-old didn't eat his warmed-up citizen. Glass of wine 9.20,-! It was great beer garden weather but only two tables were occupied! Always full and good in the past! What's up ? Schnitzel with sauce 24,- and a side salad 6.90,-. Wine 0.2 liters 9.20! It's on your menu. 2 tables were occupied on sunny Easter Sunday at 5 p.m.!

Everything is way too overpriced

This is how it is now: Totally overpriced and poor quality. Really a shame. This is how it used to be: Just the right place to drink a beer and eat something hearty and of good quality. Some would complain that there aren't enough dishes, but I think everyone can find something here and that's a big plus for the freshness of the products.

Offers what you would expect from a Bavarian beer garden and is already open for lunch. Sitting comfortably under large trees and listening to the babbling of the fountain ensure a feeling of well-being. Very, very attentive service. Fresh draft beer for connoisseurs and non-alcoholic bottled beer for drivers. The food was perfect and digestible. Cheese spaetzle and a meat dish were attractively served. Matching clean, rustic-creative sanitary facilities. Very easy to drive to and parking across the street. I was pleasantly surprised and will be back. We were also very satisfied on our second visit. In winter it is very pleasant to dine indoors. We really enjoyed the Bavarian specialties with fresh beer. Great service.

Wir kamen immer sehr gerne in dieses Lokal. Die Bedienungen waren immer sehr nett und das Essen war sehr gut. Zwar wurden wir beim letzten Besuch wieder sehr nett bedient, allerdings war das Essen von allen 4 Personen überhaupt nicht gut. Das Fleisch war zäh und schmeckte nicht. Ausserdem ist es sehr teuer geworden. Wir wären mit dem Preis einverstanden gewesen, wenn das Essen gut gewesen wäre, aber leider was das nicht der Fall. Wir haben mit der Familie zu Geburtstagen und Feierlichkeiten hier immer gerne gegessen. Jetzt werden wir das Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen und uns etwas anderes suchen. Schade.

We went out to eat with a couple who were friends of ours, but unfortunately neither of us enjoyed it. The meat was tough and didn't taste good. Even the fried potatoes were tasteless. The prices have risen a lot, which is absurd given this quality. They lost us as guests. Too bad...

The last time we ate there with the company was during Corona times, and I remember the street mill well. So, I suggested going there for a private family celebration. It was 7pm on a Monday evening and we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was no music playing, no waiters there, no one could be heard talking, it was like being at a funeral. Let's get to the main aspect, the food. Absolute disaster. Rump steak with salad. The steak medium ordered 250g. It came through and dead and had a maximum of 160 grams. It tasted like a pork steak. The salad with a touch of dressing. Impudence for almost 40 euros. Roast with dumplings, tasted like a limp mass and dumplings from lunch. Leberkäse with fried potatoes. Leberkäse was good and plentiful. A fried egg with it? A little bit and if the fried potatoes were maybe crispy the meal would have been the highlight of all. Tafelspitz. The plate is drowning in sauce, the potatoes without salt and the meat just warmed up. I actually wanted to eat some Kaiserschmarrn but I really lost the desire. At the end there was a gentian that simply tasted like vodka. All in all, the worst thing I've ever experienced in Wiesbaden. Pure disappointment and never worth a visit again. I'm sorry to have to say it like that, but anyone who delivers food so carelessly has to expect it and it shouldn't matter whether there were four people or forty in the restaurant.

Wonderful beer garden. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great when we visited, so we sat inside. It was also cozy there and because we were such chilblains, the heating was turned on especially for us. Extremely attentive and friendly service that is rarely found. Reordering is also no problem at all. We have eaten all of our red cabbage supplies. Soooo good. The portions were very large - we had the rest packed up - super delicious dark beer sauce and the dumplings were a poem. Everything was very tasty and very appetizingly prepared. I'm happy to spend 22 euros on a main course for the great service, the delicious food and the ambience. For us the price/performance ratio was right. We'll definitely be back. If the weather is right, you can work off some of the calories by playing mini golf (directly opposite).

The three of us ordered food over the phone. Instead of 30 minutes it took 45 minutes, but the bigger problem was that we had to pay €69 instead of €57 at Liferando, as the on-site prices + additional costs apply when ordering by telephone. However, it was delivered by a delivery driver. It was very tasty, but we learned from it. In our opinion, a difference of almost 20% just because of the different ordering method is not possible! I've really enjoyed being there so far, but I'll probably go somewhere else in the future.

Der Biergarten ist wirklich schön und der überdachte Bereich ist ideal für einen verregneten warmen Sommerabend. Schön gemütlich auch an kalten Abenden - wenn der Ofen an ist. Innen ist es eher unspektakulär. Der Service ist in der Regel freundlich und flott. Wir kommen schon länger in die Straßenmühle. Nach der letzten Preiserhöhung und nach ein paar Abenden mit den neuen Preisen, haben wir beschlossen, nicht mehr zu kommen. Diese Preise können wir nicht mehr akzeptieren - wir befinden uns doch in einem „Wirtshaus“ und nicht in einem gehobenen Restaurant. Mal ein paar Beispiele: Flammkuchen: 16,10 Euro, Aperol-Spritz: 10,60 Euro, 0,2 Riesling: 7,60 Euro usw. Im Schnitt sind Eure Preise im Vergleich zu anderen „Wirtshäusern“ in Wiesbaden unserer Meinung nach einfach zu hoch. Auch ist Euer Essen nicht besser geworden. Klar, alles wird teurer aber doch bitte auf dem Boden bleiben. Schade.

Ordered food by phone (the price wasn't mentioned, we actually just wanted to know if it was still being delivered and order via Lieferando). We then ordered directly by phone. Otherwise we were very satisfied, but €64 for two schnitzels with sauce and a children's portion of spaetzle is simply utopian. The portions delivered are even smaller than in the beer garden. Everything is homemade, Kaiserschmarrn or e.g. the apple sauerkraut, reinterpreted, but yummy, as are the homemade bread or potato dumplings! Like many other things on the map! Service is very polite, be considerate of Bavarians when the beer garden is packed! But for freshly tapped Bavarian beer and great food, you can wait a few minutes longer! Even if I feel bad for ourselves, because the more crowded it is, the harder it is for us to find a good spot! 😁🙃😅😂🤣But give it a try, so far we haven't found anything we didn't like! So enjoy!!!! 🍻

A nice place with a good location and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a long wait and sometimes horrendous prices for a very small bowl of sauce for the schnitzel for 3.90. Bad potatoes and the burger not really seasoned and with a mini dollop of sauce. Overall, far too expensive for the service, which was neither friendly nor unfriendly and the food was just mediocre.

Wir waren in den letzten Jahren mehrfach da, zuletzt vor ca. 2 Jahren. Gestern: gefühlte Preiserhöhung um ca. 40 Prozent bei höchstens "durchschnittlicher" Küche. Das war dann auch unser letzter Besuch !

We come here regularly and have a good time. The food is first class and the service is always top!!! Can warmly recommend.

In bullet points: - Wild burger, unseasoned and riddled with numerous pieces of cartilage, didn't taste good. - The portion of Leberkäs and croquettes was so small that I was still hungry, as was the children's portion of Spätzle, much too small. - Spray cream on ice cream, seriously??? - Paid the bill when ordering the dessert, didn't get a receipt and the dessert was forgotten until asked...you can try it... - I find it cheeky to ask for plate money for a small birthday cake that I brought with me. As a paying customer, you come with a medium-sized group, drink, order food and have to pay extra for your own cake with candles to blow out. We will definitely not be coming back again.

We've eaten here several times and never had much to complain about, but the last visit was more than subpar. The service always looks a bit demotivated and unfriendly, which I can understand and understand on some days. However, it started with the appetizer and the drinks, ordered warm pretzel as it was on the menu (nice and lukewarm from the oven) and it was cold and hard. When soaked, the apple spritzer tasted purely like water and had nothing to do with an apple spritzer. For the main course we had pork & chicken schnitzel with fries. When the food came and we tried it, we noticed that something was wrong because the meat was simply swapped. We then got the waiter and confronted him, he couldn't tell us what was what and acted stupid, and in the end he blamed me because when he brought the food to the table and called it, I was wrong, yes, that's mine' would have said. We swapped the food because we didn't have a problem with it because of the pork, but I think something like that should never happen and especially should! That doesn't happen, and don't blame the customer either. We also had cheese spaetzle which were good but too expensive for my taste, I generally find the prices there to be pretty cheeky now. At the end I still had all my fries on my plate because I was very full from the spaetzle. I asked nicely if they could pack me some fries + the rest of the spaetzle. He came back with a box with only the spaetzle in it He threw away my entire portion of fries despite being told to pack them up. And even if I hadn't said anything, they could have given me the fries instead of just throwing everything away. I usually enjoy going there but this was my last visit for a long time. After that evening I was really very angry and at the same time very sad that half of my meal for which I paid €20 was thrown away. I also have to say that the service had absolutely no idea what it was doing and was absolutely lost. If you only do your job half-heartedly and think 'it's fine', you should look for a job that puts more effort into it and puts your heart into it :)

There were now eight of us there and we were shocked that the portions were only a quarter of what they were a year ago. Above all, different portions on each plate!! At the same court. The prices have also increased significantly. This time the service was apparently overwhelmed and several times forgot drinks and starters that were not brought. All in all, I wouldn't go there again. Price performance is no longer right. Unfortunately. But the food is super tasty. We (five of us) were extremely positively surprised. The food was super tasty and the fries were amazing and I have never eaten such delicious spaetzle (I don't normally like them). The staff was really nice and everyone was friendly. We sat on the terrace, totally comfortable. We'll definitely be back!!!
