We were at Wirtshaus Feldwies and ordered the Swiss sausage salad. Unfortunately it was served with grated Gouda, which didn't taste convincing - more like chewing gum. In our opinion, this is too expensive for 13.50 euros. The Bavarian sausage salad was one euro cheaper and a little better, but overall the price-performance ratio was not good. The taste was okay, but we expected more at these prices.

No recommendation. Even if it differs from the many good reviews. Far too few staff. Food quality varies greatly. For the prices quoted, the quality is simply not right and a waitress ran around screaming because a colleague hadn't removed the tablecloth (note running gag...tablecloths are not allowed to be used for normal guests)...the entire room with 4 occupied tables laughed their heads off at the appearance of the older waitress and rightly complained about the shouting... very unprofessional. Conclusion: Food below average, ambience zero...cold all the time...guests had their jackets on in the room🙈...there are better restaurants locally

Delicious schnitzel with horseradish and a beautiful beer garden in the sun. Around the corner there is also a tiny self-service farm shop with the most beautiful Aperol at the Chiemsee camping site Rödlgries

I had the great pleasure of dining in this charming restaurant - and what can I say: an absolute hit! The Kaiserschmarrn was a dream! Fried to a perfect golden brown, wonderfully fluffy and with a subtle hint of vanilla. The combination of caramelized orange slices, fresh mint and a generous portion of powdered sugar not only made it a visual highlight, but also made it taste great. The accompanying applesauce was wonderfully fruity and homemade – a real icing on the cake. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the service friendly, attentive and warm. You can tell straight away: people cook with passion here and hospitality is very important.

We had a spontaneous lunch. It's great that Feldwies is open all day. The interior has a very rustic feel. Roulade with red cabbage was delicious! Orders were served very quickly. The price was reasonable; we paid €45 each for a meal and a drink for two. We'll be back!

We came as a family of four and were greeted in a very friendly manner. The hunger was great. The food (schnitzel with fried potatoes) came very quickly and was very, very good. On the way back from our winter vacation we took a different route today and came to the Wirtshaus Feldwies for lunch for the first time. I ordered a crusty roast with dumplings and cabbage. I've never had such a delicious and crispy crust. The roast was juicy and very tasty. The dumplings were exactly as they should be. Firm, cooked through and absorbed the tasty sauce nicely. The side herb was nice and crunchy and also perfectly prepared. If we come to the area again, we'll definitely plan to eat at Wirtshaus Feldwies again.

We were in direction Austria and we found this Place very close to the Highway. Definitevely we made right choice to stop here. Old restaurant, very big in Size, It offers you all the type of food you can expect from Bavaria, with in addition good fish that comes directly from the lake. Good selection of beverages, from beer to cocktails. Staff friendly and very supportive!!

Price-performance ratio doesn't match, when I eat a schnitzel for €19 I expect very good quality, but mine was tough and full of flax, the service was super friendly despite the stress. It's a bit like a tourist rip-off. Won't eat here again.

B. ★ The reason for my visit (May 21, 2018) was a charging station for e-bikes marked in an app. To shorten the time while I was in the shop, I visited this restaurant which was very busy and there was also a band playing. There was a very nice lady at the entrance who was collecting some kind of contribution. I asked her if there was still a place and she said yes. I took a seat in the inn where two other guests were also sitting. After 15 minutes of waiting, a waitress came to clear the other guests' place settings. She noticed me but there was no reaction as to whether I wanted something to drink or eat. 10 minutes later she came back and collected the two guests. As I left there was only a smile and again no reaction. I waited another 5 minutes and then left the restaurant frustrated. Hospitality looks different!

Quaint old inn with various smaller/larger rooms in vaulted style. We had the creamy cheese spaetzle and the schnitzel with a mustard-horseradish crust, with potato and cucumber salad. Each with an apple and a mango spritzer. For dessert, the small caramelized Kaiserschmarrn. We haven't eaten so well in a long time! Our portions were absolutely reasonable for the price. Service very friendly. Small children are also welcome guests. We absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. If you want something to eat, you can get some convenience from the tourist klitche. Everything here was fresh and homemade! If we could give 10* we would! Great for us! Absolute insider tip, for people with taste! Keep it up!!!

The restaurant has bad reviews deleted. Unfriendly service, we were sent away from an unreserved seat because there were three of us sitting at a table of four. Because we were hungry we stayed, but unfortunately it's not like it used to be. Unfortunately the prices are below average and very sad.

It's not really my style but I would like to keep it short here. There is no service there! No “please” and no “thank you”. The service staff was absolutely listless and in a bad mood. The food does not meet the simplest requirements and certainly not the price asked for it. Please definitely stay away from the potato salad and the schnitzel! This is industrial bucket mush and gray strange flesh. The breading was the best... It's actually a shame because it's a great location but the rest ruins everything. We won't be coming back...

There are better places… The staff here is very nice and helpful 🙂👍🏻 However, the food was loveless and tasted like finished goods ☹️☹️ We had roast pork with bread dumplings and Kaiserschmarren. You had to cut the roast pork properly with a knife and the dumplings were dry and didn't taste homemade. The Kaiserschmarren was dry and way too sweet. Thanks for the nice service but there are better places to eat.

Every year again. 😉 Whenever it suits us on the way south we stop here. Home cooking and service, just fits here, what else can you write ✍️. And this has been the case for more than 10 years now. Keep it up and we'll continue to come by.

We were guests in the beautiful beer garden last year and wanted to enjoy the delicious food again on vacation this year. When we asked over the phone we were told we could just come over. No sooner said than done. When we arrived at the restaurant, we first wanted to “register” and find out where we could sit. However, we were “ignored” by both service staff in the beer garden, even though we even addressed them with a “Good evening!” We then looked for a table ourselves. When after several minutes there was still no one with us to at least hand over the menu, I went to the entrance where menus were lying and took two copies to the table. However, it took a very long time until our order was taken. We shouldn't order food directly; This will be recorded when the drinks are there... okay... another waitress then brought the drinks and when we wanted to order food from her the only response was: "from the colleague!" The food and the beautiful ambience made up for a lot, but you still have to ask yourself the question: why would you let two women serve the entire beer garden alone? There were probably 50 tables - no wonder there was a wait... you can be very understanding but there is still a bad aftertaste.
