Unfortunately, this company is now also optimizing its reviews... After more than two years (that's how old my review is already) I received mail about "defamation" via Google!

Quaint old inn with various smaller/larger rooms in vaulted style. We had the creamy cheese spaetzle and the schnitzel with a mustard-horseradish crust, with potato and cucumber salad. Each with an apple and a mango spritzer. For dessert, the small caramelized Kaiserschmarrn. We haven't eaten so well in a long time! Our portions were absolutely reasonable for the price. Service very friendly. Small children are also welcome guests. We absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. If you want something to eat, you can get some convenience from the tourist klitche. Everything here was fresh and homemade! If we could give 10* we would! Great for us! Absolute insider tip, for people with taste! Keep it up!!!

The restaurant has bad reviews deleted. Unfriendly service, we were sent away from an unreserved seat because there were three of us sitting at a table of four. Because we were hungry we stayed, but unfortunately it's not like it used to be. Unfortunately the prices are below average and very sad.

There was a very nice lady at the entrance who was collecting some kind of contribution. I asked her if there was still a place and she said yes. I took a seat in the inn where two other guests were also sitting. After 15 minutes of waiting, a waitress came to clear the other guests' place settings. She noticed me but there was no reaction as to whether I wanted something to drink or eat. 10 minutes later she came back and collected the two guests. As I left there was only a smile and again no reaction. I waited another 5 minutes and then left the restaurant frustrated. Hospitality looks different!

It's not really my style but I would like to keep it short here. There is no service there! No “please” and no “thank you”. The service staff was absolutely listless and in a bad mood. The food does not meet the simplest requirements and certainly not the price asked for it. Please definitely stay away from the potato salad and the schnitzel! This is industrial bucket mush and gray strange flesh. The breading was the best... It's actually a shame because it's a great location but the rest ruins everything. We won't be coming back...

Rustic inn with original Bavarian cuisine. Were there for the first time today, but definitely not the last time. We had the cheese dumplings and the crusty roast with bread dumplings. The food was great, really tasty, and the service was very nice and friendly. Price/performance is reasonable in my opinion. We'd love to come back!

There are better places… The staff here is very nice and helpful 🙂👍🏻 However, the food was loveless and tasted like finished goods ☹️☹️ We had roast pork with bread dumplings and Kaiserschmarren. You had to cut the roast pork properly with a knife and the dumplings were dry and didn't taste homemade. The Kaiserschmarren was dry and way too sweet. Thanks for the nice service but there are better places to eat.

Every year again. 😉 Whenever it suits us on the way south we stop here. Home cooking and service, just fits here, what else can you write ✍️. And this has been the case for more than 10 years now. Keep it up and we'll continue to come by.

Price-performance ratio doesn't match, when I eat a schnitzel for €19 I expect very good quality, but mine was full of flax and the service was super friendly despite the stress. It's a bit like a tourist rip-off. Won't eat here again.

We were guests in the beautiful beer garden last year and wanted to enjoy the delicious food again on vacation this year. When we asked over the phone we were told we could just come over. No sooner said than done. When we arrived at the restaurant, we first wanted to “register” and find out where we could sit. However, we were “ignored” by both service staff in the beer garden, even though we even addressed them with a “Good evening!” We then looked for a table ourselves. When after several minutes there was still no one with us to at least hand over the menu, I went to the entrance where menus were lying and took two copies to the table. However, it took a very long time until our order was taken. We shouldn't order food directly; This will be recorded when the drinks are there... okay... another waitress then brought the drinks and when we wanted to order food from her the only response was: "from the colleague!" The food and the beautiful ambience made up for a lot, but you still have to ask yourself the question: why would you let two women serve the entire beer garden alone? There were probably 50 tables - no wonder there was a wait... you can be very understanding but there is still a bad aftertaste.

Extraordinary! The food was excellent, the portions very well balanced and the service absolutely first class. The ambience is also excellent. There were five of us in the beer garden, but we also took a quick look around inside. The large hall also looked very inviting for large celebrations. The toilets were extremely clean. Special requests were addressed immediately and we also had a very tasty vegan option. The fried fish was definitely homemade and the fried potatoes and spaetzle were a poem. Highly recommended!

Great service, the food is good and freshly made, the kitchen knows its craft. However, the ambience in the large room is a bit impersonal; it lacks some charm, decoration and good light to make this large room a little friendlier. It has something of a waiting room, but unfortunately nothing comfortable. The food is good, but the portions are small and the prices are high. This combined with the lack of ambience in the interior only leads to 4 stars. But I would still recommend it.

We were there for breakfast for a company outing. There is a nice beer garden. There was coffee, still warm pretzels and croissants 🥐. Service was also very good. It was the starting point of a GPS scavenger hunt. When it comes to eating, I assume that it is just as tasty as breakfast, still needs to be tested 😉, hence the 4 stars.

Good Bavarian inn with flair. We usually sit in the shady beer garden, but years ago we were also in the interior gallery of the integrated theater. We have not yet been able to attend a performance that takes place every now and then. We always found something on the menu. The inn is definitely recommended.

It was a pleasure. Simply super friendly, beautiful restaurant, fantastic beer garden and the best whitefish fillets from Lake Chiemsee that I have eaten in my life! The pangasius fillet fried fish was also very good. But does it have to be real? Pangasius?

A pub as it should be. Good, rustic and with a menu that suits the region. The food was really good. The meat was on point, as was everything else. Top! The story behind the inn simply completes it. We will be back. Certainly.

Ambiance is very nice, service is very friendly, but… Price-performance inadequate. Ate schnitzel with asparagus & hollandaise sauce. Schnitzel much too small, sauce slightly burnt, asparagus not peeled properly, lukewarm and grayish. That's not possible for the price.
