With some nostalgia, I remember the early days as the bistro "Täglich." Back then, the atmosphere was warmer and more informal. The food tasted better. I was there again recently. The food was bland and lukewarm, and poorly presented. Maybe I was just having a bad day.

For the price, there are better options in SPO. When I pointed out the rotten lettuce leaves on my burger, the server replied that it was due to the heat and that they opened a new bag every day. Find the mistake: bags of convenience food for a €22 burger (without fries, mind you).

Four of us stopped in for a quick drink. We really enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly. A few cheeky remarks were made throughout the place. The prices were reasonable.

A very nice Whitsun breakfast for six people and our dog. Generous, beautifully presented plates with only fresh ingredients. Delicious bread and rolls, and excellent service. We'd gladly return.

Visually appealing, but culinary a disgrace. Lukewarm food made from convenience products at a premium price. The schnitzel is tough, the salmon is dry, and completely tasteless. Apparently, the only thing that matters here is the passing trade – quality and standards are nonexistent. Never again.

We were sitting outside in a beach chair, the sun was shining, and we were really craving currywurst with fries...and we had a delicious currywurst with a drink. We received very friendly and warm service and were treated with care as guests. We were completely satisfied. Another day, we were craving something sweet and indulged in a waffle with all the trimmings and a Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancake). Highly recommended, friendly, and delicious. At reasonable prices.

It's always a must for us when we're in SPO. You just feel comfortable and welcome here. The cuisine offers something for everyone.

Here, we also made a reservation and got a table upstairs for breakfast. The food was plentiful but not cheap. Coffee and drinks are extra. We also had extra scrambled eggs. You can't get a seat here without a reservation. Unfortunately, the weather and temperatures weren't conducive to sitting outside.

A Sunday in April. There really isn't much going on after Easter week. The left side outside was completely empty and separated. I asked the gentleman if there was still a place with a beach chair available. He actually said: No, not at the moment. I thought ok, maybe everything reserved. I walked a few meters through the city and then came back there after about 5 minutes. Suddenly the area is no longer separated and there is free choice of seating. How unnecessary can you have guests in the restaurant if you just send them away even though there are so many free??? I've been there a few times and the gentleman (waitress) is always unfriendly!! I'm always happy when the blonde woman comes to the table...

Very nice and courteous service. You immediately feel at home here. The food feels even better than it was a few years ago. Great fries and currywurst - yes, it takes something to make a sensible sauce. Burgers great too. Drinks were also very good. We would love to come back to the super beautiful, beautifully landscaped outdoor terrace.

I visited the restaurant alone to enjoy a delicious cappuccino and an ice cream sundae. Since the restaurant wasn't very busy, I quickly found a place outside in the last rays of sunshine. The service was relatively quick, but not very accessible. I felt “out of control”. I asked for an ice cream sundae. I was shown several on the map. However, it was ice cream in a paper cup, quite hard and hard to eat at first. (After all, from a small factory in Quickborn, as the waitress later said.) When I mentioned my disappointment when paying, I got the feeling that I was somehow in the wrong place. 🤫

It is advisable to reserve a table, especially if you cannot climb stairs. Limited space on the ground floor. But it wasn't a problem and there is even a disabled toilet on the ground floor, otherwise there are a few stairs to the basement.... Any time again if I have to go to rehab again and the food is hanging out of my throat in the clinic after 3 weeks 😅

A beautifully and modern decorated restaurant. After a winter walk we spontaneously stopped in to just have a hot drink. In addition to the hot drink, there was potato soup with fresh bread on the side and rice pudding. The prices are justified and, in our opinion, absolutely moderate. The menu is extensive and everyone from young to old should find something here. The service was very friendly and attentive. A very good address!!!

We had dinner here in the evening. Our dog was warmly welcomed and we were offered a blanket for her straight away :) we sat upstairs and it was very quiet and pleasant there. The waitresses were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, we haven't eaten so well in a long time! The prices are high, which is unfortunately normal for St. Peter Ording.

The service is great. When we made the reservation, we were immediately told that the gf rolls would be baked in foil. There is a large selection of prepared breakfasts. The breakfast was very tasty. The drinks were also good. I had a cappuccino. When ordering, we were immediately told that bacon wouldn't work because it was fried. Things containing gluten also go into the deep fryer. There was fresh fruit on the breakfast plates. The service is very attentive. If I'm in St Peter Ording again, I'd love to come back for breakfast. Mittagessen unter der Woche (Familie mit 2 Kindern) Der Außenbereich ist sehr einladend gestaltet, die Lage ist sehr zentral im Dorf. Die Bedienung war super nett, und uns wurden die Speisen zügig gebracht. Das Essen war durchschnittlich, aber die Currywurst war lecker und ausreichend groß. Die Preise waren aus unserer Sicht angemessen.

We had dinner here again today after 2 years. The burgers were excellent as always. The service was great and very friendly. We'd love to come back.

The staff seemed quite unfriendly and when paying, their voice suddenly became friendlier. We were also ripped off because a simple change to the menu resulted in my friend getting a microscopic children's plate which of course had to be paid for in full and so we moved on hungry and disappointed. Plus point, you can take animals with you.

Very exorbitant prices due to very small portions and sometimes poor quality. Long waiting times. Cocoa has a very strong chocolate content and is therefore not edible. Croissant very hard. Maybe from the day before. Rolls good, but very small. =Paid a lot and still left hungry.

Friendliness and consideration for our four-legged friends are very important and, along with the delicious breakfast, will remain in our fond memories.

We tried to get a table outside with two people. A table without a reservation sign was free. After us came a group of 4 people who were brought forward and we were therefore turned away. Apparently the table was reserved. As a reserved table, it wasn't even set and there weren't enough chairs at the table. They still had to be looked for together. No go!!

Salad with stalks. Surcharge for a few very few frozen fries €5.50. Schnitzel rather dry and unfortunately cold. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio doesn't fit here at all.

The service staff is very friendly. We really enjoyed our selected dishes, I had a beer burger and my wife a vegetarian mushroom burger. However, the dishes are not exactly cheap. A portion of French fries for 5.50 euros without ketchup or mayonnaise is quite a lot. Nevertheless, I can recommend Dorf8.
