Wirtshaus Anna in Düren

We really enjoy coming here for breakfast. You should allow yourself some time. But we've always received friendly service. The breakfast is highly recommended, and the other meals are also appealing and well-prepared. The ambiance is modern and cozy. There's an outdoor area facing the market, which is also pleasantly decorated.

We go there quite often, and it's always great. Fast service, short wait times, and the food and drinks there are delicious and reasonably priced. Always happy to go back!

We ate at Wirtshaus Anna yesterday evening with our two children. I had reserved a table in advance. We were pleasantly surprised and cannot understand the negative reviews. The service and the entire staff were friendly and attentive at all times. The drinks were prepared and served quickly. The homemade spritzers are highly recommended. The food we chose (two Wirtshaus Anna burgers, one spicy cream schnitzel, and one salad with chicken breast strips with house dressing) also arrived quickly and was freshly prepared and very tasty. Nothing was missing, and the portions were all more than sufficient. The ambiance was cozy and appealing. The price/performance ratio was absolutely fair, and the staff was friendly at all times. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Wirtshaus Anna.

Good food, fast service, great decor, you could sit outside... what more could you want

Unfortunately, we left very disappointed this time. It seems to depend heavily on the staff on site. The portions were very tiny today, which I find a bit of a shame given the price. So, unfortunately, value for money was completely lacking today.

Almost nothing came as ordered, and the quality was mediocre. The schnitzel was most likely frozen, and the pepper sauce was only recognizable by the peppercorns. All in all, I wouldn't recommend it.

Too bad...the rolls weren't fresh, and if they were, sorry, then unfortunately not a good baker. It tasted cheap. The female waitress was either having a bad day or just wasn't into the job. If she also received an order on her back...apart from that...that's not what you do as a guest either, but then she should swallow it and give a funny, but not snarky, answer. And it's no excuse that the dishwasher broke down in the kitchen and, as she says, it's flooded. A guest doesn't want to know that. Professionalism is different. It was market day today, and the restaurant was half full. The male waitress was relaxed and had everything under control. As you would expect. Perhaps a tip for the owner...there are better systems for taking orders. She said she has to write everything down. Of course, that hinders a smooth process. Otherwise, a nice place with good, moderate prices. I'd like to stay there more often.

After a long wait, we were told someone would be there soon. Someone did come. Before that, someone had spent 10 minutes talking to a guest. They hadn't even put down their cards. We would have liked to have something to eat. Then, after we had our drinks, we left and ate something else. It's a shame, we always liked going there.

They were supplemented and had probably not eaten enough.

We are at the end of last year (friends) And been there last month (family) About 10 people each Everyone ate and drank something (NO ONE) had anything to complain about Will 100% go there again tip homemade spritzers.

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at Wirtshaus Anna today. Of the 3 meals we ordered, 2 were really bad. The fried potatoes were soaked in oil and very mushy. My husband's food at least seemed tasty, but it wasn't tolerable to his stomach. After just 10 minutes, he complained of nausea and saw his meal again at home half an hour later. The schnitzel was okay in this case I can't say whether it was fresh or frozen. I think a waitress who forgot her order twice at the table was questionable, she seemed very listless. Of course, we waited for the second round of drinks that we wanted to have with our meal until the plates were cleared away. 2 more than half-full plates were taken away without comment. No smile, no everything was fine. At the next table, an older man who wanted to pay for his beer after two sips with the comment that it tasted stale, he wasn't used to it here, was fobbed off with the words it was fresh. At least a new one could have been offered here. The ambience is a rustic tavern and at least visually fits in very well. Unfortunately, the optics are the only thing that can be recommended here.

I ate there for the first time today with my girlfriend. And I have to say, there's nothing to complain about. The ambience is nice and cozy, with good music. The service team was very, very nice. You didn't have to wait too long for the food, the food was A1 with stars. For me the best food in Düren. I'd love to come back👍🏻🙂

So it's really questionable how a man like that can become a manager???? On a Saturday evening shift where it's packed just sitting at the table and playing cell phone games and just bossing your employees around That doesn't work at all!! Unfortunately, the service also suffers during the week due to the understaffing and you should be concerned if you wait 20 minutes for water. I wanted to form my own opinion, but I have to agree with the bad reviews. I don't have to say much about the food either. Arrived after half an hour and was completely cold and therefore inedible. The store had real potential, but the implementation is terrible. I can't recommend a stay, the only nice thing is the furnishings and the beautiful women.

We really like to go here often. Regardless of whether it's food or cocktails, everything is great, which I think is a shame the boss isn't there, unfortunately things aren't going so well, you'll be seen coming in but you'll be sitting there for a long time, even though the shop is partly empty Sometimes someone comes and takes drinks. You then sit with your drink until you can order something to eat. During the meal you are often asked if everything is good, but when you want to pay you sit again for a long time and wait. My visit to this restaurant was anything but satisfactory. I was looking forward to a relaxed breakfast and ordered scrambled eggs with two rolls, coffee and a spritzer. But the reality was unfortunately disappointing. The spritzer tasted almost exclusively like water - neither fruity nor refreshing. The rolls looked as if they had already been waiting two days to be released for consumption: dry, tough and anything but fresh. The scrambled eggs were carelessly prepared and completely unseasoned, so it didn't taste like anything. Although the service was friendly, it was obvious that the staff was overwhelmed. Despite a manageable order, I had to wait almost an hour for it, which further spoiled the breakfast experience. All in all, it was a disappointing experience that didn't impress with either the quality of the food or the process. It's a shame, I would have expected much more here!

Unfortunately we had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Our order was taken incorrectly, which of course can happen. However, instead of simply solving the problem, we were met with a rude and unprofessional attitude. After we pointed out the error to the waitress, she explained to us that it was not her responsibility and that we should contact the manager. Unfortunately, he showed no insight and denied any responsibility. Instead of correcting the order and bringing us the product we wanted, we were literally brushed off - in a manner that can only be described as condescending and disrespectful. It would have been a simple matter to admit the mistake and fix it, but instead we received a message that our concern was not being taken seriously. Such poor treatment of guests is incomprehensible and unacceptable to us. We definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were there one evening and made a special reservation. This was confirmed by phone but not booked and so a table was quickly made available for us. After 15 minutes we finally got the cards “thrown”. After another 15 minutes our orders were taken incorrectly. This continued throughout the evening, the service was very slow but at least friendly. But when we ordered a Sex on the Beach we didn't really like it (because it didn't taste like alcohol but only like orange juice) and we asked the counter for a fix, we were told we were too "drunk" (in general terms). 2 beers because the waiters couldn't take our order faster) and can't taste it right anymore. After this cheeky statement, we asked the waiters about a cancellation, who pointed us to the boss. The boss referred to HIS house rules and warned us to pay. In general, the experience was negative and unreasonable. Never again.

Unfortunately, our visit to the Anna Wirtshaus was a big disappointment. We had ordered cocktails that were not only disappointing in terms of taste, but also contained almost no alcohol - even though it was supposed to be included on the menu. When we raised this in a friendly manner, all we received was a rude and dismissive response. This is definitely not how you deal with criticism. The rest of the visit was anything but convincing: We had to wait a full 30 minutes for a simple beer, and the service overall seemed overwhelmed and not attentive. Only the ambience was pleasant, but that alone is not enough to guarantee a successful evening. Unfortunately no recommendation from us.

This was our first, but not the last, time at Wirtshaus Anna. My wife had the Crispy Chicken Burger and I had the Leberkäse with fried egg and fried potatoes. Both were very tasty and value for money was absolutely ok. The food that was served around us also all looked very appealing. All service staff were friendly, relaxed and attentive. The ambience is modern and timeless with pleasant lighting. We'd love to come back!

Pleasant restaurant, cafe in brewery style. House lemonade should be tried, delicious. Menu well selected and fresh with a good price and performance ratio. The quality remains consistently strong. Parking options are available within a radius of around 250 m, on public streets or in various car parks.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is really inviting and cozy. We (2 adults & 1 child). 1x schnitzel 1x salmon Ordered 1x red/white fries. Schnitzel was OK and edible without complaint. Salmon with rice was served warm. The rice, which was already very dry from the start, became inedible when reheated because the rice grains became so hard that I couldn't eat them. The salmon is undoubtedly of great quality. However, the optical 2 tablespoons of sauce was not enough for either fish or rice. I wonder whether a chef would be happy about a meal like this if it were served like that. You can see that the amount of rice doesn't match the sauce. The fries for the child came about 7 minutes after the schnitzel and fish. Here too, it should be appropriate to serve all dishes together and to make children especially happy. (Adults understand patience, children don't). I kindly and politely gave feedback to the staff about the food...it was politely acknowledged. Particularly customer-friendly, the complained salmon was removed from the bill. Super customer-oriented action. Really great!!!! I was very surprised by this reaction!

The service was nice. However, the food was a disappointment. We had beef carpaccio as a starter and pork medaions as a main course. The starter only came after we had already had the main course. And it was inedible, had gray spots and only tasted like olive oil. The meat in the main course and the sauce were cold. Unfortunately, this was the third time in a row.

Service very good. Unfortunately, I had more and different meat in my meal than I wanted. The service was very dedicated. But there were creatures in the food that were not ordered. BAH

Friendly and attentive service 👍

After the renovation, we had breakfast with the V2 Club for the first time today. Anyone who has something to complain about here should stay at home or ask themselves whether they should go to the Hilton for breakfast. Everyone who attended was more than satisfied with the offer! Kudos also to the friendly service! And to those who are always complaining, you definitely have a much nicer life at home!!!

Yesterday evening, four of us went to the pub to drink a few cocktails, but what we were served were some mixed-up and indefinable drinks. "Insolence." Either there was no alcohol in the glasses or the cocktails were extremely acidic and tasted off Leftovers. The Long Iland iced tea was substandard and not drinkable and they charged €8.50 for it. When I complained, I got a new one, but it wasn't much better. The staff were initially friendly, but seemed annoyed after the complaint Conclusion: The dining room is inviting, the toilets are unclean, the staff is annoyed, the cocktails require no further explanation and another visit is completely out of the question.

Everything is right for me here. When I'm in Düren, I also go to "Anna". Like once or twice a week.

Food was quite good 👍 We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 cocktails. Pizza tastes very unique and we really liked that, just something different, just good! Cocktails were also delicious but felt alcohol-free, “Long Island Ice Tea” which had three strong ingredients was surprisingly relaxed. But thanks to the nice staff our wish was fulfilled with a second cocktail. So - highly recommended!!

I was in the restaurant with a friend today. It was my 4th visit and I have to say all visits were good. The waiter was pretty much right there and quite patient with us as we are very picky. We had non-alcoholic cocktails and they are recommended. The waffles were very tasty and, above all, when we asked if they were freshly made, they made them fresh (as promised). We asked for blankets and they came immediately. In general, the service was excellent, something you don't get everywhere anymore. Highly recommended 👍🏼

We had breakfast there with the family. The breakfast tower was sufficient and good for 2 people. The rolls were fresh and delicious. The brown bread, on the other hand, was a bit hard and dry. My son's cold cocoa was sour and bad. In addition, the cocoa powder in the machine was empty and was a long time coming. Unfortunately, the service staff didn't seem very motivated... the atmosphere in the inn, however, is cozy. Overall we were rather disappointed and probably won't come back! Too bad.

We have been there for the second time and will come again. The breakfast is rich and there is something for everyone. Even vegetarian options can be found on the menu. When it comes to hot dishes, there is definitely something for everyone. The food is delicious and the ingredients chosen for the dishes are fresh. There is also a large selection of drinks. From coffee to spritzers to cocktails/mocktails, no wishes remain unfulfilled. The service staff are very friendly and even if the store is full, the waiting time is not worth mentioning. Were there again. We really like it there. My wife is always very happy with her salmon. I had a steak and everything was very good. Keep coming back! And in summer you can sit outside. Even if the tables outside are a bit small.

This is my 2nd time here for breakfast and it is absurdly good. For just under €24, a temple of food that will fill you up...particularly very diverse and healthy. Small but really very small deduction in the b note is the bacon. The stripes were very small. The service was also very friendly and attentive. No long waiting times and all guests were served very nicely and quickly. This job was very well done by the lady. We'd love to come back.

Even though the owner probably doesn't care at all, I'll write a review anyway. On Friday we had something to eat and drink at the Anna pub. At first everything was great, we had delicious cocktails and nice service. Then we ordered something to eat, including a very very very English (bloody) steak. Unfortunately, it turned out to be completely fried. In response to our immediate and friendly complaint, the very nice waitress confirmed that she had ordered the steak in the kitchen rare and would take care of it. She also thanked us for the friendly and factual complaint. We were actually expecting a new steak, the well-cooked shoe sole was not touched. Unfortunately, from then on she no longer came to our table, only to the neighboring tables. When we asked about it after about 20 minutes, we were offered - or so we thought - a round of drinks. We would have been happy with that. But when we (4 people) asked again for the drinks menu for the free drinks, we were told that there were no rounds of drinks but only a cola or a coffee for the person who hadn't eaten their steak (approx. €25). has. Ridiculous. We could do without that. The reason for this completely undisputable behavior: the boss ordered it that way and she couldn't do anything about it. We then (stupidly) paid the full bill (€140). The waitress then said that the boss would be sitting in the restaurant. That was the crowning achievement. In such a case, he could have moved his best self to us at the table. But he didn't. Because he probably doesn't care about the well-being of his guests and this rating.

My wife and I had dinner here today. Unfortunately we weren't thrilled. Starter and main course were served together. Starter consisted of 3 tapas appetizers. Ravioli very greasy and inedible. Currywurst good. The grilled feta has seen the pan or grill far too briefly. My wife had salad as the main course and gave up in frustration when she chewed sand again and again. My schnitzel with whiskey sauce was okay. The service was totally overwhelmed. I had to get tickets myself. We first had to ask for salt and pepper. Think this belongs on the table. Spending over €50 including 2 drinks wasn't worth the money. We were very annoyed. The staff's repeated apologies don't help either. Better quality and better service would be desirable. We certainly won't be heading to the brewery again any time soon.

Whenever I visit this restaurant in Düren, I am always delighted as it is my favorite place to go! Situated in a central spot, it provides a diverse range of dining and drinking options. The cocktails are exceptional, and the food is incredibly delicious. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a cozy indoor atmosphere. A visit to this restaurant is a must in Düren, as I always feel warmly welcomed and would love to come back.

I have rarely met such an incredibly friendly and courteous waitress. The young lady made it possible for my mother to receive a sample of an iced tea. We both really enjoyed this one😍 in general, the homemade iced teas are super tasty! When paying, she told us that we didn't have to pay for this sample, I've never experienced anything like that before. Thank you so much for this great experience. As someone who has worked in the catering industry myself, I can only say that we need more people like you. Best regards, we will be back very soon ✨

Nice facility. Food and especially the organization of the Services still have a lot of room for improvement.

A bottomless impudence. Today at 11.30 a.m. was the last time I visited the Anna inn. When I arrived there with around 20 students, we were greeted in a completely unfriendly manner and felt like being sent away. But we said that we only drink soft drinks or coffee and that we are actually low maintenance and have time. Everything that came after was just pure impudence. I have never experienced anything like it. Rude staff, drinks were spilled on the students and I was threatened with being even more rude if I continued to comment on this. Unbelievable! I'm coming with 20 students from all over the world and it's going to leave such an impression, BRAVO.

I like to go there to have a coffee or a few beers. You can also eat very well on Saturday

Today we had dinner at the Anna Wirtshaus with an announced group of 10 people at 4 p.m. The ambience and the nice furnishings are inviting, quieter inside than outside and cozy. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our food, which wasn't great. The food itself was delicious, very plentiful, very well seasoned and was served on beautiful plates and containers. Unfortunately, two meals were brought to the table completely incorrectly, but we accepted that (we are too nice 😞) I have to mention one drawback and no one in our group liked this ☹️! We had a latecomer who wanted to enter with a dog and she was denied entry because: “THE DOG IS TOO BIG.” EITHER DOG YES OR NO!! There was a dog in the restaurant downstairs during our stay, so nothing was said. Apparently this was a service worker's dog. Our dog is a little bigger, yes. But we didn't like that! ONE PERSON WENT HOME HUNGRY!! ☹️VERY Pity

I really enjoy coming to you...especially since the website says it's open on Sundays from 9 a.m.!

Light and shadow. Service was nice but not professional. Drinks were delicious, as was the burger. But it took forever to eat and it wasn't overly crowded. The toilets were just acceptable and that at lunchtime. adjust your ventilation properly. The air was cutting.

Excellent café and restaurant in the heart of the city center, on the Markt, in Düren. The lunch menu is not very special with 4 options, but my schnitzel tasted great. Service is smooth, friendly and hospitable. The interior is neat and looks attractive. The terrace in front of the business is also ideal with a nice sun.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The staff were rude, unfocused and unfriendly, which only made the situation worse. It is unfortunate that the service and hospitality leave so much to be desired. I cannot therefore recommend this restaurant and will not visit it again!!!

I ordered steak with fried potatoes and it was served cold. Were there with 8 people and left a lot of money behind. Didn't want to complain but my daughter her food was cold too. I don't find the kitchen staff working there in street clothes that appealing.

Yesterday we went to the Anna Wirtshaus with a group of friends. This happened on a pub crawl and yes we had already had a drink (but really within reason). We wanted to drink the famous cocktails and had already eaten elsewhere. Our waitress was rude from the moment we told her we didn't want to eat. Afterwards we were asked several times whether we would like to “finally” order food. We each had our cocktails and one of our friends was admittedly a little louder for a moment. The boss came straight away and said that we shouldn't have any more alcohol and that we should even leave. I paid the bill and we left the restaurant. At this point I would like to apologize to other guests if their evening was disturbed. This was not our intention. However, as a designated pub, you should rethink how you deal with sophisticated customers. (We have never encountered anything like this in classic Cologne breweries).

Company Christmas party: right at the start at 4:30 p.m. we were informed that we had to clear the table by 7:30 p.m. at the latest because the next group was coming. Wasn't said when booking. We were supposed to order food very quickly and were asked to pay at 6:45 p.m. Very direct (the sound makes the music). I just don't think that's appropriate, especially when I know it's a Christmas party. But consumption probably comes before customer friendliness.
