We were there with a larger group! The meal intake started out a bit confused and disorganized. The waiter didn't really get it sorted out. Accordingly, the food that arrived to us was also wrong. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it. To pay we all had to go down one floor. The waiter was faced with the same problem... some drinks and dishes were no longer on his tablet list, and substitute dishes were then billed at the same price. Only the last 4 guests had a problem. Even though they didn't eat it, they had to pay the rest. Over 20.00 euros extra! It was no longer possible to understand who might not have paid for something! Not a pleasant experience!

Had dinner there yesterday. I had pork knuckle which was unfortunately only luke warm, the swath wasn't cross but very mushy. The fried potatoes were only lukewarm without any spices and I left the sauerkraut on the plate cold and unfortunately it didn't taste good either. Out of 15 people, 13 were disappointed with the food. The only positive was the service.

Restaurant was fully booked. What you noticed about the food was that it came to the table 5 minutes later after ordering. Food was cold. Sauce didn't taste good. The positive thing was the friendly service.

Cream sauce like it comes straight from the bag. Schnitzel like from a pack of 100 from the wholesaler. Ambience nice. Steak partly buttery tender and partly tough. Mass processing with maximum profit without receipt or receipt when paying in cash. Never again. But staff very nice.

I just had a spontaneous meal there with my husband. Great, attentive service. The food was excellent, fresh, with homemade red cabbage and mashed potatoes. The goulash was tender and the sauce was to die for. For dessert, apple strudel with ice cream, cream and vanilla sauce. A poem. We say thank you very much and see you soon!!

Sauerbraten with dumplings, red cabbage and applesauce... and then Kaiserschmarren deluxe with cranberries and vanilla sauce 💕 I would love to spend the night here and eat the same thing again tomorrow morning :) I've been here several times just for the sauerbraten and I'll definitely come back for exactly that!!

WOW - The tastiest sauerbraten since grandma!!! Plus dumplings cooked to perfection and just the right amount of sweet and savory apple red cabbage. And I can well imagine that the rest of the dishes will taste just as good! The ambience, on the other hand, is ok, could be even more comfortable - more cushions, less light.

I was in this restaurant yesterday with my family. And I was thrilled. Unfortunately, I have intolerances, which is why I asked the gentleman who served us whether there was flour and milk in the dish I had chosen. He openly admitted that he didn't know but would be happy to bring me an allergy card, which I really thought was great because I've been to restaurants where I was told it wasn't included even though the products in question were included. Because he and a colleague couldn't find the menu, the boss came personally and explained to me how the food was prepared and with what. This meant I could leave out a side dish (actually there would have been sauerkraut, but I couldn't have tolerated it because of one ingredient). I suspect that more fried potatoes were put on my plate. That's how service should be, that's exactly the kind you want. The boy was confident enough to ask his boss and served us in a really friendly and courteous manner. Really great. The food was delicious, I tolerated everything very well. The selection is large but clear, the portions are just right. Price performance was also really top. I would love to come back from Aachen to Düren to eat here.

The food was edible but disappointing. The portion of the grilled knuckle we ordered was generous, but despite the good crust, the knuckle was unseasoned. There was a lack of salt, on the crust, in the meat, even in the gravy. The sauerbraten wasn't good either, the meat was much too firm and the raisins weren't cooked in the sauce, but were just sprinkled on afterwards. The “homemade lemonade” tastes like syrup in water, only garnished with frozen fruit. The service force wasn't really motivated that evening either. It was a “meh” experience that doesn’t need to be repeated.

The Teuterhof is a great address for home-style cooking with a Bavarian twist. The food comes in a reasonable time and the waitresses are friendly. There is a large selection of different dishes: pasta, burgers, sauerbraten - something for everyone. Most recently, I was totally thrilled with grandma's sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings: super tender meat, fantastic sauce and the red cabbage with a slight hint of cinnamon was amazing! The ambience could be a little nicer, but that's also because it's currently undergoing a bit of renovation. I like it best in the back area: winter garden feeling with a view of Willy Brandt Park. Parking is quite limited, but I've always been lucky so far. I can recommend the Teuterhof with a clear conscience!

But in my opinion the cream was sour. I also mentioned this to the waiter. He was just quite surprised and took note of it. Service itself was ok. Could have definitely come upstairs more often and brought drinks. Orders were forgotten a few times. But for me only once. I probably wouldn't come back in this way again.

That was nothing, meat cooked in the steamer and tough, ready sauce over it, a few dry raisins and it was good. Unfortunately it failed completely. The dumplings aren't homemade either. Bofrost can do it much better. The burger was also unfortunately a finished pattie and not recommended. There is much better in Düren and the surrounding area. You can't call it home cooking, even Bavarian. And when there was only a 5% tip for the poor service, the waitress also looked condescending. Good service staff make a lot of difference, unfortunately nothing good here.

Lunch was totally tasteless Meatballs consist of 80% breadcrumbs, cream beans were without cream, sauce was nothing. Fried potatoes were only edible with salt. Staff was totally unfriendly and overworked. We had to wait 25 minutes for the bill.

We eat here regularly. Unfortunately, on the weekends you have to expect that the quality and portion size will decrease significantly. Here, if you want to try the hard and pure experience of the German brasserie, I will describe what Teutenhof was for us. A place with a distinctly Teutonic appearance, large, with profuse wooden interiors, but without the confusion of the beer halls of big cities. Few beers on the menu, few dishes available, but wow are they good! We had a shank, a frankfurter and a soup with Spatzle. The Shank, served with a brown base, was, for me, one of the best meat dishes I have ever eaten: crispy skin, nice fat without being nauseating, juicy. Pleasure! Just like the Wurst, far from what can be found in Italy, and the Soup with Spatzle, pleasantly tasty and peppery at the right level. All soaked in beer, from a liter down. For everything, we spent an amount that I would dare to define as exceptional. I left the Teutenhof with a toothy smile, knowing not only that I had eaten well, but also that I had had an authentic popular experience of the place I went to.

You can actually talk about anything, but this performance was simply unnerving. Perhaps the gentleman was fundamentally bothered by the dogs we had with us, which were certainly conspicuously inconspicuous, so that he found an unacceptable, aversive start to the conversation that we would not have expected in the catering industry in this country. Of course we left without a word and drank the coffee somewhere else. The still friendly question about the restaurant owner was also aggressively and pompously pushed aside by the strange snob. If even the normal, really well-behaved visitor to a beer garden can't feel welcome, then at least there's something wrong with the staff selection of this restaurant. Again: very unfortunate.

As a guest you really feel valued and well looked after. Another plus is the beautiful surroundings of the Teuterhof. After eating you can take a walk through nature and end the day perfectly. All in all, our visit to Teuterhof was a complete success and we will definitely come back. For anyone looking for a special place to eat in Düren and the surrounding area, the Teuterhof is an absolute must!
