After eating in the restaurant several times, we wanted to take a pizza home with us on Sunday August 25th, 2024 at 2 p.m. Unfortunately, the waitress at the counter wasn't able to pick up 3 ingredients correctly. We were initially spoken to very loudly at the cash register, then literally shouted at by the pizza station. Why you don't want to make the few meters to the guest - a mystery. Overall we were treated very unfriendly, which we also noticed. The comment: “It’s clear.” The pizza box was pressed into our hands without a “bon appetit” with a disgruntled face. What remains? A pizza - not correctly topped - for 20.50 EURO. That's too bad.

We ordered 3 pizzas to pick up. One of them is a children's pizza. It was so oversalted that you couldn't eat it. And that with a children's pizza! Impossible really! You (Losteria) are welcome to pick them up and try them yourself.

The last time we were in Düren it was a disaster. The service was overwhelmed with everything. Drinks that we had ordered were forgotten twice. Since it was a bit cool outside, we were offered blankets, but even after asking twice we only got them. Then we ordered a lasagne but they ran out of lasagna, which is very questionable for a restaurant. Then we were charged for the lasagna even though we didn't get it. And the highlight was when payment came. I paid with the debit card, which was also confirmed on the device, but your system apparently hadn't received the money. The money was debited from me as normal. In the meantime we had paid the money in cash. I only got the money back after 6 weeks under the most difficult circumstances. My personal conclusion is that I will never go to this chain again. No matter what city I was in the losteria, it was always a disaster.

The pizza was again very tasty. Even with a large group of over 40 people, we wouldn't have to wait long for drinks and food.

Today we spontaneously went to L'osteria in Düren. Unfortunately, after ordering, the service didn't bring any bread, oil, salt, etc. to our table. Only upon request... The two pizzas we ordered came very quickly and were very good. Unfortunately it wasn't the third meal we ordered. When a service employee asked if everything was OK, we explained that the third meal was still not there. But since more than half of the two pizzas were already eaten, I no longer needed my food. A spontaneous replacement coffee was also offered but I politely declined. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened.

Well-known chain. It tastes like everywhere else, you can't really go wrong. So, everything as usual - as always. Due to its design, the interior of the restaurant is too loud for my taste. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We came here spontaneously last week and luckily got a table, outside too. Our order included pizzas, pasta and salad and everything was really tasty. The dessert that followed was the perfect touch. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. The price-performance ratio is optimal. We'd love to come back.

Was there with my husband on Friday around 5:30 p.m. Drinks were picked up and brought a short time later. The problem was, the first bottle of water tipped, then the entire load of drinks. Bottles and glasses were broken, I was “showered” from head to toe, shoes, dress, bag, everything was wet. My husband's legs were also wet. Someone from the staff immediately came over and helped the colleague, but no one took care of us, didn't bring a towel, a brief apology, nothing else. I find this behavior totally unprofessional and rude to the customer. If someone from the service can't handle such a full tray, maybe they should go twice! We were "nicely" offered another table, but sorry guys, certainly not in a completely soaked dress!!! We then left the restaurant straight away and will not visit it again 👎

Good in itself, but the toppings on the pizza look a bit sad... And with these huge pizzas, which go way beyond the plate, it would be better if they were cut too. For the price of the desserts you can get 2 pieces elsewhere.

A cozy and authentic atmosphere that you immediately feel upon entering. The staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the experience pleasant. However, the salad was disappointing. This was smaller than expected, especially considering the price is comparable to the pizzas. This was a bit disappointing as I had hoped for a generous portion. Nevertheless, L'Osteria is a nice place for an evening out with friends or family. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

Sunday brunch Went to Losteria for brunch four times. The selection is varied and as soon as something is empty, it is immediately refilled. But there is one big negative point, the warm buffet. On all 4 visits it was cold and the service staff was asked about it. During today's visit, I was told that the kitchen team would prepare everything three hours before the restaurant opened. OK. You can do that for the process, but when the food is served it should already be hot. The heating plates on which the food is placed are only slightly tempered and cannot heat the food (see picture). So I can only give it 2 stars because brunch should have warm food. Furthermore, I have repeatedly noticed negatively how the staff with authority to give instructions treats their colleagues. If a colleague makes a mistake, this should not be clarified in the customer area.

Yesterday I was here for dinner with the family. The pizza is very large and also very tasty and had good toppings. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that good, although the restaurant was only half full, the drinks took quite a long time, and the empty glasses and reordering also took a while, I don't have any times, but the feeling was that it should have been quicker . Overall, however, very friendly! We sat outside, there are lots of tables, but unfortunately only very faded plastic chairs with no cushions. There is also a small children's playground, which also seemed well maintained. Despite several doors, the way inside always leads past other diners quite close - I had the feeling that I would be a nuisance there. Side note: The restaurant is on a highway, so it's not particularly quiet outside - but I knew that beforehand and is therefore not part of this review!

Despite a reservation, we got a seat in the last corner, overlooking a littered meadow. Ordered two meals and came to the table 8 minutes apart. The pasta tasted way too much like pepper, the pizza tasted good, but in my opinion it still wasn't worth the money. It was far too big for the plate and was lying half on the table with no paper or anything in between. As I could see at the neighboring table, the tables weren't cleaned at all after guests left the table. The toilets were a disaster. Dirty, broken and no paper towels. I expect something like that at a rest area, but not at a restaurant. We won't eat here anymore. Better go to the steakhouse next door!

We had ordered a table for 8 people online. This first had to be created by putting together 3 individual tables. Way too cramped with 2 people at the head end. The bruschetta was missing oil and balsamic vinegar, when it was finally brought the food had already arrived so you had to look where to put it. One pizza was missing the onions that were specially ordered, which of course can happen. Unfortunately, since they were opened later and the pizza was put back in the oven, it was no longer edible. Due to constantly changing service, including shift changes, no one asked whether it was tasty or responded to the criticism regarding the pizza. Pizzas were no longer hot and tasteless, spaghetti carbonara was not soggy but like the day before. There are only plus points for friendliness and the chocolate soufflé, although the portion of the sorbet, which is the size of a tablespoon, is a joke. Likewise the 2 strawberries that you got with the panacotta at an additional cost.

We went to brunch twice today! I can also directly advertise cold brunch because the warming plates don't keep the food warm. A pity . If you speak to the waiter, he will pass on your request. But nothing has changed to date. It's a shame so it's avoided.

Phew...we had a reservation but nothing was reserved. They just looked where we could sit down. The lady who served us was friendly...we had to wait for drinks because the gentlemen at the bar didn't finish them...the drinks or non-alcoholic cocktails hardly tasted like anything...then the first food came "Burrata" which was unfortunately standard mozzarella was a complete disappointment... Large salad with beef & mango... the mango was hidden underneath, it was horribly pickled and mushy and in the end you only have greens for 16 euros. There was no pasta in the Bolognese Al dente but cooked until soft. Then another pasta dish that was too spicy. Toilets....are comparable to a Rasthoff toilet, dirty, garbage everywhere, etc.

We have been regular customers in all branches for many years, but Düren was one of our favorites for a long time. Regular visits are a thing of the past. Quality (otherwise always top in all stores) has declined significantly, as has service. Another low point yesterday. Despite the clear occupancy (see photos) placed at the counter, after 15 minutes there was still no table, toilets without paper and dirty. Sorry, but that's it for now.

The food was great, but the service was extremely overwhelmed. Waited forever for drinks, sometimes orders were forgotten. This has to get better!

Everything was in order. Very tasty pizza. Unfortunately only plastic chairs outside. We will be back.

We went there for brunch today with four adults and a 3 year old. There is everything you can imagine: on the right side, classic breakfast with a large selection of bread rolls. Additionally variously filled croissants. Plates with cheese, sausage and tomato mozzarella. On the opposite side there are salads, pasta varieties, pizza and great filled breads. Finally, five different desserts in a glass, Nutella foccacia, cake and waffles. Filter coffee is included in the price of 17.50 euros. Children up to 5 years old are free and from 6-14 years old they pay half the price. An additional large bottle of water costs 7.25 euros. Absolutely recommended and very tasty! Around 11 a.m. it got a little more crowded but the well-coordinated team found a place for everyone. We had reserved in advance, which is really recommended. That was the first but not the last visit there! .

Mal ehrlich 2 Pizzen ein Salat zur Abholung mitte 40 Euro, Zusatz auf der Pizza waren Artischocken, wie großzügig ,ein ganzes Artischockeherz pro Pizza. Salat mehr in einem nicht genießbaren Zustand als Genießbar( faule Blätter). Hätte ich besser mal bei der Abholung kontrollieren sollen. Für mich war die Pizza auch mal besser,wie gesagt ,für mich.

Lange Wartezeit aufs Essen, Vorspreise wurde nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen vergessen, kam dann zusammen mit der Nachspeise .

Today we were guests at Losteria in Düren with a group of 7 people and what can I say... it was a complete disaster... The lasagna I ordered was, to put it nicely, a huge disgrace! 1. For €16 I expect a lot more than just a small square that would have easily fit in my hand. 2. my lasagne was burned to the bottom of the plate and the top layer was also burnt... The staff couldn't keep up at all, we wanted to order more drinks, and it took 30 minutes for them to arrive, and it should also be mentioned that the shop wasn't particularly busy at the time (just wondering why...) On the last point…. What the hell is wrong with the pictures hanging above the tables that are directly on the wall?? It gives the impression that there are dead larvae or something else in the picture frame?! All in all you can say... our visit there was a complete disappointment, no one was happy with their food, it's just way too expensive for what you get and the quality isn't right at all... If you really want to eat first-class Italian, you should take a trip to Adenau and visit the Pinocchio restaurant there.

Actually my favorite Losteria in the area! Went there for brunch for the first time on Mother's Day, but I think there's still a lot of room for improvement. Starting with free filter coffee: Constantly refilling 2 pots for all guests is probably a bit small and simply takes too long, apart from the coffee grounds. The dishes that were actually warm were completely cooled down. The notice that the hot food was cold informed us that there was a power outage. Found this answer very questionable since the lights, kitchen, etc. everything worked perfectly?! Unfortunately, some of the labeling was also missing. Some of the plates at the buffet were dirty. The employees were friendly, and towards the end the used dishes were no longer cleared away. The tables were very close together, and since you often get up for the buffet, it was uncomfortable sitting chair back to chair back.

This was our second time in this branch and unfortunately the service was even worse than 4 years ago. Although we weren't here at a typical meal time (3:30 p.m.) and the restaurant wasn't full, ordering and delivering the food and drinks was a disaster. The time between ordering the drinks and delivery was 35 minutes. People didn't even dare to order more drinks because the waiting times were simply too long. The second round of drinks felt like it took even longer. It's a shame because the place makes most of its money through drinks. Unfortunately, the food also took a long time. In addition, 3 dishes were completely forgotten, so that unfortunately half of the people had nothing to eat and had to wait a long time. Overall, the service staff were completely disoriented when delivering the food. We had the impression that either the tables were not numbered or the wait staff did not know the numbering of the tables as they constantly asked us or other guests if they had ordered this or that. It was a bit chaotic and annoying. In the end we checked the bill carefully because we were afraid that other dishes had been added to our bill, luckily this wasn't the case. The toilets were dirty and unfortunately there was no hand paper to dry your hands. The food was okay, but I think the quality has declined in all branches in recent years.

Fast service, but friendly is different. Ordered pizza with hot pepperoni salami, unfortunately the pizza was dripping with chili oil, which was way too spicy. Totally loud in the hall, my child even covered his ears. The food had no seasoning, I can't say that it wasn't tasty because the taste was missing. So only for people who love large canteens and it's really worth good money for them.

Best tip for this L'Osteria: It's better to visit Timberjacks directly opposite. We were there with 7 people at 4:30 p.m. on a Sunday. The shop was virtually empty. Our service was extremely inattentive, reacted incredibly slowly (e.g. from request to pay to payment over 40 minutes, the bar made drinks without complexity such as non-alcoholic shandy wait over 15 minutes for no reason and other orders), there were leftovers of other toppings on the pizza But since these aren't allergens (mushrooms on a Hawaiian pizza), the manager who was called didn't think this was a big deal. A children's pizza was left waiting for over an hour and then finally completely forgotten (but we would settle for it, we'll make it straight away). Children's pizza toppings are charged the same as those for adults (despite the much smaller pizza). If children would rather have spaghetti instead of macaroni in the children's meal, this also costs an extra charge because... Why not? Money!! Overall, absolutely negative impression of the service, very creative pricing. They forgot to order crayons and painting supplies, as well as gummy bears. All small things, but with children it adds up. Bottom line: no food for kids, hefty surcharges and lousy service. The staff also likes to smoke right at the delivery entrance to the kitchen, so guests can also enjoy this olfactory experience. Everything smells like it. Luckily, we know L'Osteria at other locations much better. But here the recommendation is very clear: avoid.

Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not right at all. For a pizza that costs just under €16, I expect a little more toppings than just one slice of pizza. Even after complaining to the staff, I was simply told that this was the standard.

Over the last few years the quality of the food and the service itself have declined. Price/performance no longer fits. On our last visit we ordered several pasta dishes and pizzas. We received the pasta dishes after about half an hour. The children had to wait another half hour for the pizzas. The coordination in the kitchen & service doesn't fit. It wasn't overly crowded that day either.

First of all, it has to be said that we ate here on a public holiday. It was very crowded and therefore very loud. Whether you can do something about it (acoustic elements?). The service wasn't particularly friendly and didn't ask if we would like bread with our meal. Back then it was normal to simply have bread with your meal. We had 2 pizzas, a salad and one pasta. The pizzas were pretty tasteless and also pretty dry. The salad was okay, and the noodles were okay, but there were only 4-5 shrimps on it, which is really sad. All in all, we wanted to give L'Osteria another chance, but unfortunately that's it...

We came here for the Sunday Buffet Brunch. Superb atmosphere and service. The trays were constantly being refilled. The service was very attentive, even though the restaurant was full.

Anyone who likes salty pasta dishes or oversized pizzas with lots of crusts and few toppings and feels extremely comfortable in a canteen environment during the day will also feel very comfortable here. Not for me, thank you very much, but feel free to judge for yourself✌️

We have been to L'Osteria in Düren several times, but unfortunately the last few visits have gotten worse and worse. First of all, the food is delicious and tasty! We had brunch for the first time. The waitress was very nice at first and took all the drinks. Freshly squeezed orange juices were offered. Unfortunately, one orange juice contained so much pulp that you could have eaten an orange. Well, that can happen. I politely asked if I could perhaps order a new OJ with less pulp in it. I was then told that the juices are "filtered". That was absolutely not the case, nor with the other drinks. A latte was also ordered, but it took almost 25 minutes to make. Ordering drinks was a disaster, luckily the brunch was set up as a buffet. There was a lot of choice there. The food was served very clearly and was also very tasty! It started with the payment. I wanted to redeem my voucher from 12/2023. There I was informed that the voucher system had been changed and I could no longer redeem it. Apart from the fact that I find this very customer-unfriendly, I was informed that the money is not gone. There is a QR code somewhere on the door, I have to enter a few things there and then I get the money back. After paying, I searched in vain for this QR code and couldn't find it. So I had to ask again. Then it turned out that this letter was on the counter (of course in such a way that as a customer you can't find it immediately). I then scanned and entered everything. Email, bank details, pictures of the voucher and my ID card. I think that's a lot of personal data. So I first had to submit an application to an outside company so that I could get anything back. Since I didn't know the amount of the voucher (because it was a gift), I had to ask again. The waiter was pretty annoyed, no one helped - the service was really disgraceful. Today I receive notification that the application was approved, but only up to a certain transaction amount; I then had to submit the remaining amount using the same procedure as at the presentation. SORRY dear L'Osteria team, but that is absolutely outrageous! Your service was inhumane, everyone acted stupid, as if no one knew how things really worked. And then at the end the seating plan is quickly placed back over the writing so that the next waiter can act stupid again and the customers are still clueless. Unfortunately, you are not worth it to me to have the entire process legally examined. But one thing is for sure, I won't be coming back. And it's better not to buy a voucher from you! That's really a pity. I really can't say anything bad about the food. But there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to service and your employees. It's a shame that people treat their customers this way and no longer attach any importance to customers leaving the restaurant satisfied. I hope you do better in the future!
