It was a nice meeting place and the food was impeccable

Finally vegan alternatives but still room for improvement, delicious pizza, nice service.

Unfortunately it wasn't really good. The pizzas were big, but didn't taste quite as good. We returned a pasta dish because it was cold. When it came back it wasn't really any warmer. We paid for the coffee on the house. We didn't have any of this on our previous visits. Too bad.

Good parking option. We were warmly welcomed at the entrance and shown to our table. The waiter was very professional. Unfortunately the pizzas came very cold even though we only waited about 20 minutes after ordering. I didn't like the dough and the tomato sauce on the margarita was barely recognizable, so there were very few ingredients. And I was also very disappointed with the other spinach and shrimp pizza. Tomato soup tasted like tomato sauce from a can that had been warmed up briefly in the microwave. Ambiance Very loud.

Very pleasant atmosphere. We went for brunch on Carnival Sunday. The location was 2/3 attended. High ceilings and enough space between the tables invite you to linger. An open kitchen opens the view to the preparation of the food. The Italian/Mediterranean dishes on offer were appetizingly prepared and tasted very good. When something came to an end, everything was refilled. Warm dishes such as margaritha or penne, Mediterranean potato and bean salads, toasted bread with egg and avocado or ham, rolls with sausage and cheese, fine desserts and much more. Despite the time limit when making the reservation, there was no pressure and you could enjoy lunch. Recommended...

So I went there because of a recommendation from my colleague Yusuf Baran. So it was very, very good, especially pizza tono and you don't need to talk about the service, the people working there are super friendly and nice. So I can only recommend eating there.

As a self-proclaimed pizza tester, I have tried many pizzas, but rarely as huge as here. The dough is wonderfully crispy, the ingredients are fresh, and the portions are more than generous. The entry started with a smile from the service. I went further to my table, where I could sample the atmosphere. You feel invited to take your time while eating so that you can chat quietly with your friends. The Insalata Mezo was recommended to me and it suited my taste exactly. A nice ending with a short and amusing conversation with the southern waiters. 5/5 gladly again

I ordered the spinaci pasta. Everything was perfect from service, staff and taste. The large southern waiter was particularly accommodating and responded to all requests and even exceeded them. We will definitely come by regularly.

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had in a restaurant at this L'Osteria branch. I come from Berlin, am an entrepreneur myself, travel a lot and have visited numerous L’Osteria branches - but I have never experienced anything like this anywhere. When we entered the restaurant we didn't see the waiter's table in the entrance area and so we sat down at an empty table. Instead of clarifying the situation professionally or simply checking whether the table was actually reserved, we were rudely and in an inappropriate tone asked to get up and go back to the reception area. Although we subsequently complied, we naturally expressed our dissatisfaction with this behavior. But instead of defusing the situation or reacting in a solution-oriented manner, the alleged branch manager “Manuel” (of Asian origin) went one step further and acted even more disrespectfully towards us. His manner was not only unfriendly, but simply inappropriate and completely unprofessional. Such condescending and anti-social behavior is completely out of place in the catering industry - especially in an upscale chain like L'Osteria. I have never experienced such disrespectful treatment in any other branch. Customer friendliness doesn't seem to be a concept in this restaurant. As an entrepreneur, I know exactly how important good service is for business success - and here the absolute opposite of that was offered. I can only advise anyone not to visit this restaurant if they value pleasant, respectful interaction. An absolute no-go!

Waiting half an hour for a drink is stupid!!

Great ambience and great service!

For my birthday meal I had reserved a table for 4 people online with the note that I would be bringing a small dog with me and would therefore like a slightly quieter place. We were then seated in the middle of the room, even though there were other seats available. There was no response to my request to light the tea lights that were on the table. The staff seemed kind of listless. We were very disappointed. Only the food was good, as always.

Every time you feel like you're almost sitting on someone else's lap, you wish for a corner table a week in advance and then you're sat in front of a door that pulls and chills us during your visit with a view of a crumbling facade. We were not offered dessert or a cafe at the end. You felt like you had to force things on yourself and clear your table yourself, even though the volume was manageable. The noodles in both of our main courses were still too hard. Not ok for the price either. Portions can be argued about... But since going out to eat has now become a luxury, you don't want to leave the restaurant hungry and cold despite the starter, main course and dessert. It wasn't always like that, but unfortunately the last few times were just a disappointment, so my partner and I probably won't need it again. We'd rather spend our hard-earned money somewhere else, where you should leave the restaurant happy and full and hear a "goodbye" from the employees! I'm sorry, but it's just appropriate now. It's constructive, so please accept the feedback and, ideally, make an improvement. Because it certainly won't just be like this for us. It's a shame about the actually very nice restaurant...

Got food quickly, drinks were brought incorrectly once but corrected immediately. Pasta and pizza were very tasty, service was also super nice. Special requests such as carbonara without cream were adhered to and implemented.

The waiter was extremely unsympathetic and didn't make our stay pleasant. Eater was okay. We were first left standing at the entrance for 5 minutes without a comment, even though there were at least 5 employees standing nearby who just looked at us. When we were sitting and had already chosen everything from the menu, the waiter arrived after 10 minutes with a special menu and I just said no thanks, we already have everything and would like to order, then he just looked at me in horror and without saying a word took the card back, visibly bitchy.

So what I found relatively good at the beginning was that we could sit at the counter to wait for a free table. But what I noticed straight away when I walked in was that it was absolutely loud. The ambience was great, but not really appealing to me. It's far too simple. The tables are a bit too small for 4 people, as pizzas over 40cm in size are served, which brings us to the topic of food. The pizzas are over 40cm in diameter, but no more dough is used for them, which means these pizzas look like a sheet of paper. The taste is quite ok. I ordered a pasta carbonara for myself, where I have to say the portion was pretty good and was absolutely delicious for me too. We were eating with 4 people and only ate and drank something at the table and ended up paying €93 🤯🤯🤯

Were there in the afternoon. Well attended, but not that crowded. Therefore the background noise is not as loud as in the evening. Pleasant. Fast, friendly service from several waiters/waitresses. We only had to ask twice about the garlic oil. The pizzas were very good. Also our daughter's pasta (spaghetti with rocket and tomatoes). The different bedside tables too. Have been there several times and will definitely come back!

The staff was super friendly and the food was very tasty. However, the acoustics and also some of the rooms are reminiscent of a train station hall. It's hard to have a comfortable conversation.

It was very nice there and I can only recommend the breakfast. The only thing that still needs to be worked on is the filter coffee (to find a solution) because it was cold in the thermos and didn't stay warm for long as expected. Otherwise everything is great, no other defects. I won't deduct a star because of the filter coffee.

Very friendly staff who always ask if you need anything else, but are never intrusive. Anyone who knows Losteria knows what the volume is like there, but somehow that's part of it here. Where there are a lot of people together, there is also a certain background noise. We ate bruscetta and a salad Caesare with chicken breast and were very satisfied. Of course there was also a cappuccino afterwards.

We left the restaurant without food after waiting 30 minutes. With us (2 people) there were two more sparsely occupied tables. After the waiter sullenly took the order, nothing more happened. The bored team (5 people) joked around at the bar, busy with their cell phones and their own drinks. The waiter walked past our empty table a few times. But it didn't register at all. When we asked after 25 minutes, he was forced to ask in the kitchen... we received the "feedback" that the order had not gone through. No apologies, no sorry. Even when we said we wanted to leave, he couldn't say a word. I'm at a loss for words too. Unfortunately it wasn't possible to select zero stars

The dish of the day ran out at 2 p.m. and spaghetti was offered instead. ....lasagne was still cold inside.......the pizza was almost cold on the last visit. I'll look for another pizzeria...

Food was tasty and the service was good. What was a complete disaster is the toilet facility. Toilet seats loose, all over toilet paper on the floor. The sink was very dirty and there was hardly any water from the tap, no paper to dry your hands. Personally, I'm happy to pay a little more if the toilets are regularly and sensibly kept in a clean and good condition.

We had booked a table for 12 people and sat at the large table in the middle of the room, which was completely fine with us. The service was extremely friendly and quick. The food also came with the same speed and quality that you would expect from LÓsteria. Not to mention the “hubcap” sized pizza. This means big eyes are inevitable. Would be happy to come back at any time and highly recommended....

We had reserved a table for 10 months in advance. When we arrived we saw plastic chairs around the table. Very uncomfortable chairs that have a small seat and were not suitable for long periods of sitting. The refreshingly nice and good staff couldn't make up for this with the actually good food. It wasn't a nice family evening.

The food is as bad as any store in this chain. I thought that wasn't the case. However, the girls are world class - not as snooty guys as in the south of the republic. The girls were very nice and accommodating.

The waiters were nice, but I can't understand what we ate there. You can see in the picture how bruschetta was served. We ordered several pizzas and one with vegetables. It was a joke how few vegetables there were on the pizza. I just think it's a total shame because it's just not nice.

Nice atmosphere, the waiter was a bit overwhelmed with his job. The pizza was large and tasty, but unfortunately only lukewarm when it arrived. Where should I start... we made a reservation in advance for 2 people... then apparently they couldn't find the reservation and we had to wait... After we finally had our reserved table, we waited after ordering the drinks and food , 40 minutes where nothing happened. There was an eerie draft at the table so I quickly put on my jacket... the surrounding tables that arrived after us were already receiving their drinks... we then got up after 45 minutes and checked in with the waiter because it was all taking too long for us took a while and I was now cold... they excused this by saying that they had a reservation for 50 guests at the same time, which we heard several times when assigning tables, placing drinks and ordering food. For a restaurant this size you would have to assume that whether there are 50 guests sitting on 5 or 10 tables or 50 at one, it wouldn't be a problem... instead of just apologizing and asking us to sit back down and us at least to bring something or or or... we just shrugged our shoulders... well it was probably our first and last visit to Düren...

It's very cozy. So far everything is good. One star deducted, way too expensive and the pizza was too big and not enough toppings.

First of all, my review refers exclusively to the terrible service! Today, on a Saturday evening, we had dinner with two people at L'Osteria Düren. After we ordered our drinks, 15 minutes passed, which we waited patiently. Especially on a Saturday, we understand if it takes a little longer. After asking again, we received our drinks within 5 more minutes, one of which was wrong and was returned straight away. The young waiter said he would be right back with the right drink. In the meantime, the waiter in question walked past us several times without even looking in our direction. Another 10 minutes passed before I was able to draw the waiter's attention to the drink that was still missing. Here it was said again that he would take care of it immediately. Unfortunately nothing happened again. When we were served our food, I again pointed out to the same waiter that I was still waiting for my drink. Again, he just said that he would take care of it immediately. Unfortunately, the definition of “immediately” doesn’t seem to be entirely clear. So much time passed before we finished eating and asked for the bill. The missing drink was no longer served, but was charged for it. Of course, I told the waiter that I would NOT pay for the drink that I had NOT received and that I no longer wanted it. Instead of what I thought was an appropriate apology, the waiter just said that he now had to clarify whether I didn't have to pay for the drink. At this point I looked for the hidden camera. The waiter came back after a short time and happily announced that we didn't have to pay for the missing drink. I just said that that was just the harshness and that I found it both a shame and embarrassing not to have received a drink after asking three times. There was no proper apology, let alone compensation. I think it's a shame that the service at L'Osteria has deteriorated so much and it's a shame for the really delicious food. I give the food an 11 out of 10. The service is really subpar, something urgently needs to change here and the staff needs to be better trained. I hope my reviews reach the right people so they can take appropriate action.

Typical pizzeria, but nothing more. The staircase and the toilets are dirty, as if they hadn't been cleaned in days. It smells like urine. Disgusting.

We spontaneously came here again at the request of our children. I've been here several times and have been satisfied so far. Unfortunately, today I am very disappointed. I thought I'd try a different pizza since I usually order my favorite pizza varieties. When the pizza came, I was beyond disappointed. When I order a dish in an Italian restaurant, be it pizza or pasta, I'm happy if it looks great. As we all know, the eye eats with us. I had a pizza with Italian ham (according to the menu) and well, the photo speaks for itself. I have never seen such a carelessly prepared pizza. How can you just slap the whole ham on there like that? Like maybe. It's a matter of taste but for me you don't prepare a pizza like that. In addition, the pizza was only lukewarm when it arrived and the ham tasted like any Black Forest ham. What a shame! I wouldn't come back for this pizza because it simply has no recognition value for me, the pizza is too expensive for that! If I made this at home it would look much better. The service was friendly, but their observation and comprehension skills are not the best, but they can work on that.

Stopped in last Sunday with 4 people. The assigned table was dirty. There were food leftovers/crumbs from the previous guests on the floor. The bare wooden seating was uncomfortable and worn. When we asked for service several times, we were only served to order drinks after 20 minutes. 1 cola and 3 passion fruit spritzers. But the spritzers were juice and not what we ordered. Without further ado, they were brought back to the bar and there we saw how the glasses we had previously drunk were being filled with... and they wanted to serve them to us again. We then got up, pointed out the food regulations and left the restaurant. Incredible.

We went to L’Osteria in Düren and ate pizza there – and it was simply fantastic! The taste of the pizza was incredibly delicious and we really loved it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Thank you for the wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back!

Pizza is always good for you, but with pasta and salad, there's something else going on, Salad 2 small tomatoes and dry chicken breast .. Otherwise just greens and with pasta,,,Rokkula Sala ät mixed underneath instead of fresh on top..

But it's probably due to the height of the building, and in Italy there's always a good atmosphere when eating. So ok. Only the sanitary area left a lot to be desired. Clean is better. It was my first time in this restaurant. Parking was easy on site. We were able to order quickly and it was delivered quickly and correctly. Unfortunately, the pizzas are significantly larger than the plates and so maximum performance is required when handling a knife and fork. With 6 people there was almost no space left for the drinks. Somehow it was still an experience; Everyone enjoyed it too; Price level is high, as is usual with comparable restaurant chains. Ambiance gets a star deducted because it is very loud in the restaurant. It's probably because the high, industrial-style room with bare brick and concrete surfaces doesn't absorb any sound. In summary, I can imagine coming there again.

We had brunch today with 4 people. Nice ambience, but the background noise is a bit louder. The service is very courteous and quick. The brunch itself leaves nothing to be desired. If you like Italian brunch, you're in good hands here. There is also enough choice for the normal bruncher.

Nice restaurant and great food! However, the building is in the style of a factory building or it is an old factory building, so the acoustics are very poor. When there are a lot of guests or even moderate visitors, the volume is very high and therefore quite annoying. The food and portions are great for the price! The service is very nice and committed.

We were here for the second time today and everything was perfect. Super tasty pasta, great dessert and very, very good service. Ambience is typical Osteria and very cozy. In terms of price, this is in the solid midfield. I found it particularly positive that even though it was a Sunday and it was quite busy, the service was great.

Heute Mittag war ich mit meinem Sohn in der L'Osteria. Die Pizza meines Sohnes war klasse. Mein Salat (mit Ziegenkäse, Wallnüssen, Honig und Rote Beete) leider gar nicht. Die Salatblätter waren zum großen Teil welk und matschig. Ich habe die Service-Kraft freundlich darauf angesprochen. Sie sagte, dass sie das weitergeben würde. Dabei blieb es und auf der Rechnung war der Salat komplett aufgeführt. Kein "es tut uns leid", kein "möchten Sie eine Kaffee" o.ä., kein Ersatz, keine Preisreduktion,... Schade! Da ich keine Lust auf Diskussionen und Konflikte hatte, sind wir nach Bezahlung der Rechnung gegangen.
