The food was perfect, the service was great, the meat was cooked to perfection... I loved it!

Good, inexpensive food and drinks. Friendly host. The beer garden is small but has a great atmosphere.

Top-notch inn with a prime location near the sports field! I was truly pleasantly surprised! The Gasthaus am Sportplatz (inn at the sports field) impresses not only with its cozy atmosphere, but also with its super friendly staff and delicious food at fair prices. Especially after a workout or a walk in the surrounding area, it's the perfect place to stop and relax. The portions are generous and the food is truly delicious – I highly recommend the regional specialties in particular. The terrace is also a real highlight. I'll definitely be back!

On our journey from northern Germany to Italy, we stopped over in Memmingen and ate here with three people. The service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. We had three different dishes, and all were very good. Beautifully presented, not convenience food, but homemade with fresh ingredients, and very reasonably priced. We were pleasantly surprised!

Unfortunately, since the change of tenant, the Nix sports center has been the same, and we've moved away from our former favorite. It's a shame that things have turned out this way.

Recently (since 2025) no longer recommended! Always enjoyed this place during Willi and Geli's time. It was my last visit, a shame.

New tenants moved in at the beginning of 2025. Since then, dogs have no longer been allowed in the restaurant, which is fine. Everyone has to decide for themselves, and we accept that, of course. Today we went to the beer garden with our dog (a small breed) and were told that unfortunately there were no bowls of water. Apparently the landlord doesn't have any bowls. Aha... At this point, I have to say, it's getting almost outrageous. In every kitchen, there seems to be an empty mustard or ketchup bucket that could be left for the dogs. From now on, we won't be coming here anymore, as dogs are obviously not welcome, but we do have one.

First of all, I'm a trained chef myself, but he couldn't even prepare a currywurst with fries. Sausage made from some kind of halal crap. With endless gristle, it was thrown into the same deep fryer with the fries. The bottom line: greasy fries with disgusting sausage on a plate. Served like a pig. Summary: Pseudo-sausage, not even cut open and neatly placed next to the unsalted fries. Disgusting, the sausage, burned in the deep fryer, was served like two shitty sausages on a pile of greasy and unseasoned fries. Then served with a nice ready-made sauce and not a loving sprinkle of real curry powder. Simply a wannabe landlord (possibly Arrabian) who wants to make money in the restaurant industry. But who can't do anything. Possibly a forklift driver before. 13.70 euros

Great place! We ordered Wien Schnitzel and it was awesome. The fries were amazing. Tried local beer that was also great. The atmosphere is perfect and everyone the staff and even the people who came to eat and don't know each other are so polite and friendly!

Nice outdoor area with parasol, friendly regulars. Friendly atmosphere. The large salad with turkey fillet was delicious! Good price-quality. Food was ready quickly.

Es ist eine Sportgaststätte deswegen ist das Ambiente nicht so toll. Aber das Essen ist immer sehr gut. Die Preise sind top und die Portionen gigantisch. Der Service war und ist immer sehr freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Wir gehen immer sehr, sehr gerne dort gut bürgerlich essen.

Der Biergarten und die zwei Damen am Tresen sind wirklich sehr nett, aber es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich und ich, der arme Radfahrer muss deswegen hungrig weiterfahren. Nichts für ungut, von mir nur zwei Sterne 🤷🏻‍♂️

Wir haben gestern Abend Hähnchen mit Pommes und Currywurst bestellt . Also,das waren mit Abstand die besten Hähnchen und Pommes die wir je hatten . Ist wieder geöffnet, schöner Biergarten und der Koch hat es drauf

Das Essen ist auf jedenfall Empfehlenswert. Es war sehr gut. Immer wieder gerne da Essen gehen. Im Sommer oder schönem Wetter kann man auch im freien im Biergarten Essen und Trinken.

Gemütlicher Biergarten mit Kastanienbäumen. Das Personal ist freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Allerdings mussten wir etwas länger warten, bis wir bedient wurden. Auch hier zeigt sich Mal wieder der Personalmangel in der Gastronomie, der während der Corona Pandemie entstanden ist. Freitag Mittag gibt's immer frische, hausgemachte Käsespätzle, sehr zu empfehlen! Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist sehr umfangreich, es wird gut bürgerliche Küche geboten. Es hat uns gut gefallen und geschmeckt, wir gehen gerne wieder hin.
