War sehr gut. 1 Stern ziehe ich für die Auswahl ab. Dieser entspricht nicht einem 4-Sterne Hotel.

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere with a lot of tradition. Service was also very attentive and friendly. Always my pleasure.

The location is excellent, the staff is friendly and always ready to help. The food in the restaurant is really tasty and well presented. Portions are large. The musician during dinner added to the overall experience.

Addendum 6 years later: We were currently attending a family Christmas party with 18 people, including 7 children. After the food was picked up one after the other, the two-man team in the kitchen needed a solid 75 minutes before the first meals left the kitchen, namely at the table that was picked up last. Despite the request to bring the food forward, the children received their food after about 2 hours. The Kässpatzen were warmed in a pan with cream and cheese, a real tragedy. The "highly praised" homemade fries were partly raw. A kind of plate-sized roasted potato was so saturated with fat and carelessly gratinated with extremely spicy cheese that the fresh mushrooms tasted like nothing but cheese. But there was also light at the end of the tunnel, the onion roast, the sirloin steak and the crusty roast were very good. All in all, the quality of the food does not justify the prices quoted. And there was no comparison to 2018. It was a real shame. It was definitely the last time Review 2018: Were there for dinner on Christmas Day. Great service, good cuisine and a very Christmas-themed restaurant. We'd love to come back.

The hotel is getting old. The reception is manned and on duty. The carpet in the hotel corridors is very old and dirty. The rooms are not lovingly maintained, curtains are off the rails etc... The bathroom is new and tasteful. The restaurant is very nice and so is the dining room. The breakfast is decent, but not very attractive, there is something for everyone. The service in the restaurant is great! The food too!

Ich hatte einen Tisch für 14:00 reserviert. Bei Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, daß die Küche schon um 13:30 geschlossen habe…

Great rooms. A little older, but with a lot of charm. Rooms are large. Service in the restaurant is somewhat average.

Characteristic hotel, very friendly receptionist upon arrival. Clean and functional rooms. In Italy it would be a good three star. Breakfast could improve in assortment and quality.

There’s no bottled water provided in the room. One is given a token for breakfast and it’s inconvenient if you forget to bring it with you (which I did) and had to get it in the middle of having breakfast. What’s great: room is very clean, modern bathroom. The reception and restaurant staff were great, friendly and warm.

2 star hotel at 4 star prices. Rooms are very basic. Low lighting in the bathroom as it was rather dark. Heating of the room was irregular (probably they were centrally switching it on and off). Breakfast has a limited choice and things would run out and not replenished. The only positive comment was that the rooms are clean and the hotel has parking but comes at an additional charge.

Hospitality at the highest level, the cuisine is incredibly delicious! At the entrance you are greeted by the Egyptian Ibi, a huge hello to you, we greeted you very cordially, we talked.! The best place to spend the night! An old hotel with its own zest, beyond words! Super!🤝⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Perfectly located for the train station and the city center, clean, very pleasant, attentive staff. The rooms are well-equipped, the breakfast offers a good selection and is relatively cheap at EUR 11.

Great hotel. Was here for 1 night. The two beds pushed together were not very comfortable. The room was incredibly warm. Room was neat and clean. Old-fashioned but absolutely nothing to complain about. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was very extensive for I thought €11. With something like 10 types of foreign cheeses. Buffet with eggs, Toppings and various sandwiches. Staff I came to ask if I wanted a freshly fried egg. We had dinner in the evening and it was just good and the staff was super friendly. If only the bed and room were nicer If it had air conditioning, it would certainly have been 5 stars!!

A room for four people is a total tragedy for this amount, the service is not friendly. Very unpleasant looks from both ladies who were at the reception.

Quiet and clean rooms, no air conditioning. However, if you sleep with the balcony window open only at the top, it is cool and nice. For rooms with balconies, smoking is required only on the balcony. The breakfast buffet is delicious.

Waren schon öfters im Weissen Ross zum Frühstücken und zum Mittagessen. Essen ist immer sehr gut und Personal immer zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Tageskarte sehr zu empfehlen.

Clean rooms. Most don't have aircon. Convenient location for exploring Memmingen. Situated adjacent to another hotel with similar features with similar pricing.

Classic rooms. It's clean here. There is also a TV in the room.

We were stranded so checked in without reservations and pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Very friendly staff - well maintained and very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious with a large selection at reasonable prices. Definitely it was a treat staying at such a beautiful small hotel.

Bad hotel experience. The wifi and the credit card post net weren’t working. Overpriced.

You're paying for the location here: ideally situated in the old town and only 8 minutes from the airport. The rooms are nice, but the public areas have seen better days. The restaurant menu is limited and not cheap, mostly hearty Swabian cooking. Parking is €8 per day on top of what is already a fairly expensive room.

Breakfast is normal, room is normal. However, I found the food to be too expensive in terms of price/performance ratio, but tasted good (chicken breast with pasta and tomato sauce + extra tomato sauce ordered as it was only prepared for visual appeal + extra side salad as it was not included in the main course and 2 beers/ tasty = ~ €39.50). Overall impression OK for 1 night but I changed hotels.

Since our flight was rebooked, we spent one night at the Hotel Weisses Ross. We had the triple room. The hotel is very antique and has many eye-catchers, which I find very interesting. When you walk through the corridors, it's like you're in a museum. The room itself was simply furnished. The ventilation in the bathroom was very loud as soon as you turned on the light. Bathroom rather small and without a window. Room seemed clean. OK for one night. Mattress and pillows were good. Breakfast was very poor. A big eater will not enjoy this. Not that much choice and no fresh fruit either. Rather standard breakfast. But good location in the center and close to the train station. Nice hotel for the transition.

Ein Hotel in toller Lage in Memmingen, leider mit wenig serviceorientiertem Personal. Leider wurde unsere Buchung seitens der Betreiber nicht korrekt eingebucht, weshalb unser zuvor telefonisch gebuchtes Zimmer am Tag der Anreise nicht bezogen werden konnte und spontan nach Alternativen Ausschau gehalten werden musste. Zum Glück konnte uns beim nahegelegenen Hotel „Gasthof zum Schwan“ freundlicherweise weitergeholfen werden. Aus diesem Grund und wegen fehlender Bereitschaft zur Lösungsfindung können wir für das Hotel „Zum weißen Ross“ leider keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Das "Hotel Weisses Ross" in Memmingen ist ein sehr angenehmes Haus, welches mit einer langen Geschichte verbunden ist. Der Service war sehr freundlich und behilflich. Im Restaurant wird eine genügende Auswahl an regionalen und internationalen Speisen angeboten. Im Hotel befindet sich ein Fahrstuhl, so dass auch die Zimmer barrierefrei zu erreichen sind. Gegenüber vom Hotel befindet sich ein Parkplatz, der durch eine Schranke gesichert ist. E-Autos können hier Strom tanken. Das Hotel befindet sich in der Altstadt und macht es lohnenswert für einen gemütlichen Bummel, bei dem man sich von den bunten Häusern verzaubern lassen kann.

We love staying at this hotel. The location is excellent and the rooms are very comfortable but what really truly sets this place apart is the wonderful customer service. Every time we stay here — even when we are coming in late and soggy — we feel welcomed. Ibi in particular is amazing. We travel a lot and I’ve never come across someone so dedicated to ensuring you have a good stay, missing nothing and even offering to cook for us himself if that’s what it will take to ensure we are warm, satiated and having the best possible night. Truly a remarkable experience!

Everything was great. Simple but good food. Music was a bit loud but volume was lowered when we asked.

Im Prinzip gab es alles außer Sekt... grins. Wir haben das Ambiente genossen, es gab ausreichend von allem, wobei wir auch gerne immer gerne Obst am Stück haben wie z. B. Banane oder Orange. Leckerer Käse und gute Auswahl davon. Empfehlenswert

Eon sehr schönes Restaurant schneller service, toll gelegen Bedienungen freundlich Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker Hatten einen tollen Plstz draussen kommen gerne wieder.

Bis auf das fehlende kostenlose Glas Sekt gibt es keine Beanstandungen.

Das Essen war nicht so schön eingerichtet (spartanisch) aber recht gut. Das Personal leider unaufmerksam. Für den Preis erwartet man etwas mehr. Bei der Reservierung wurde angefragt Welcher Anlass, habe angegeben sei einen Geburtstag, aber niemand kam vorbei um wenigestens zu gratulieren. Fazit; Gastfreundlichkeit fehlt!

Es ist äußerst selten, dass ich nach einem Restaurantbesuch sage, ich bin nicht satt geworden. Hier war das leider der Fall. Ich habe das Memminger Käseschnitzel gewählt. Kredenzt wurden 7 Kroketten, eine(!) Datteltomate, in der Mitte halbiert, sowie 2 Mini Fleischstückchen, überbacken mit Zwiebeln, Käse etc. Eher ein Kinderteller. Qualitativ war das Essen völlig in Ordnung, und auch der Service war ok.

Gegeten in de Bierstube. Eten was gewoon lekker en de bediening vriendelijk.

Unsere Reservierung war für einen Geburtstagsessen an einem Montag Mittag. Wir bekamen drei verschiedene Speisekarten, die Standardkarte, die Mittagskarte und die saisonale Karte. Als wir die Ente aus der Standardkarte bestellen wollten, auf die wir uns schon tagelang freuten, erfuhren wir vom Kellner, dass werktags zu Mittag nur die Gerichte der Mittagskarte verfügbar sind. Auf unsere sichtliche Enttäuschung hin machte es der freundliche junge Kellner nach Rücksprache mit der Küche doch noch möglich für uns, die Ente zu bestellen. Die kam dann auch schnell, für eine frische Zubereitung viel zu schnell. Die Ente war leider versalzen, ebenso das Blaukraut, die Kartoffelknödel waren gummiartig, vermutlich alles nicht frisch gekocht. Fazit: Wir kennen und schätzen die Küche im Weißen Roß seit Jahrzehnten, doch so schlecht haben wir dort noch nie gegessen. Auf der Webseite und den dort publizierten Speisekarten gibt es keinerlei Hinweis darauf, dass Mittags nur die Gerichte der Mittagskarte verfügbar sind. Auch ist es wenig hilfreich, am Tisch alle drei Speisekarten ausgehändigt zu bekommen, um dann nur aus einer bestellen zu können.

Wir haben uns quer durch die Spargelkarte gegessen. Der Salat mit karamellisiertem Spargel war super lecker und reichlich, die Spargelsuppe hat leider wie eine Fertigsuppe geschmeckt. Die Hauptgerichte waren sehr gut und auch reichlich, ein Dessert hat dann nicht mehr rein gepasst. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und die Preise günstig. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hingehen.
