Wonderful location with great food. We happened to be there while shopping in Memmingen on Saturday. My wife and I liked the photos online, so we thought: let's try it out! And we weren't disappointed. Great ambience (I'm really into hut charm!), great food and very friendly service. I had the schnitzel with sauce and spaetzle and my wife had the potato soup, and we then shared a salad. Everything is great, plentiful and very tasty! We'll be back.

After arriving in Germany, we were looking for a place where we could eat something typically German and this was a hit! The place has a very atmospheric atmosphere, the service is very nice and the portions are huge! The deer goulash and the pork shank were delicious! I recommend!

Found this place by chance to escape the rain. Had the best food, reminded me of my first trips to Germany. Had no reservation, but they sat me at the staff table and they were even so kind as to allow me to order something different from the menu. If I ever stay in Memmingen again, I will certainly be back. Friendly staff. Great food, good prices.

Их так же используют для нескольких гостей: с нами (3 человека) за таким столом сидели еще 2 супружеские пары. Отличный способ для практики языка: гости общительные и с удовольствием поддержат диалог. Есть вегетарианская еда и местная, баварская. Работает в том числе в выходные.

The two of us were traveling through the Allgäu with our two dogs (Vizslas) and spontaneously decided to eat here. We had to wait a few minutes because the restaurant was completely booked, but we were made to feel very welcome even with our two dogs, so we were happy to wait outside for about 10 minutes until a table was available. When the time came, everything happened very quickly and we soon had our drinks on the table and our dogs were given water and, if we were allowed, even a treat. Overall, the atmosphere was completely relaxed and the catering team was super friendly, considerate and tried to make our stay unforgettable. But in such a relaxed, professional and unpretentious manner that it makes me happy to write these lines. The food (goose and vegetarian pancakes) was also super tasty. The composition of the guests was also interesting. We also had the impression that the international audience was in a similarly good mood as the team and that neither one nor the other were in a bad mood. It also didn't bother us if one of our dogs was lying in the hallway, as we had a relatively small space in the center for our standards and unfortunately it couldn't always be avoided. I hope this recession doesn't mean we won't be able to get a seat next time because the restaurant is even more fully booked, because we'll definitely come back. Thanks again to the team for this lovely evening and the delicious food!

Wow - tip top! We were there for the goose meal (à la carte) and everything worked out 300% and tasted great! Our little dog was also warmly welcomed and immediately received a water bowl without asking. The service was extremely quick with the drinks... without being intrusive. Half a Chauvi saying: And the lady was very pretty too :-) At the end we asked to have our leftovers from the meal wrapped up and the kitchen also gave us a large ladle of gravy! Super great - the further journey for us was more than worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!

WIr wurden am 11 und 12 September sehr freundlich bedient und empfangen, auch telefonische Absprachen waren überhaupt kein Problem. Die drei Kellner, die uns bedient haben, waren freundlich und witzig und hatten aus meiner Sicht eine sehr gute Berufserfahrung. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise sind absolut angemessen. Das Ambiente der Restaurant überzeugt durch seine liebevolle wir typisch bayrische Art. Ich würde sofort wieder kommen und weitere Gerichte probieren. Ich wünsche den Inhabern und ihrem Team weiterhin viel Erfolg.

Service and ambience were good, and the waitress was very nice. Unfortunately the food was more of a canteen level. The schnitzel was soaked with oil, the breading was burnt - really terrible. Please tell the chef and show him a few videos with recipes for Wiener Schnitzel - it's really not that difficult. The cheese spaetzle had soft onions, no mountain cheese and was not creamy. Edible, yes, but nothing more. The Schupfnudeln with vegetables were dry, had hardly any taste and no sauce. It looked like vegetables and pasta had just been fried together in a pan.

Coming to Germany was the biggest dream in my life... and being here was one of the best moments I've lived. This place it's INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The food and plates are made with so much love and dedication that you can feel it just eating them. The decoration and the people make it a wonderful experience!!!! Excellent Bavarian cuisine in a very characteristic typical restaurant. Very friendly staff and menu also in Italian. Definitely worth visiting.

Here you wait 30 minutes for the knuckle because it is freshly braised and not kept warm like elsewhere. I was in a hurry and the boiled beef was healthier and prepared as it should be. At midnight the restaurant was still full and many came with suitcases. The service was surprisingly efficient and spoke good English.

The "Blaue Traube" serves traditional dishes in the old town of Memmingen, such as the Schwabenteller (pork medallions in mushroom cream sauce), which was excellently prepared and tasted delicious. Maybe the sauce was a bit too sweet, but the homemade spaetzle is definitely recommended. The rump steak with salad was also perfectly prepared. The service was friendly and prompt. Drinks are taken before the food is ordered and an alert is made when a dish has run out. There's not much to say about the ambience: the beautiful outdoor area was closed due to the weather. So only the dining room was occupied, unfortunately a bit narrow and stuffy. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with a fair price-performance ratio

The mushrooms were good. But a critical note about the Allgäu national dish: They are called “cheese spaetzle”, not “broth spaetzle”. It would be nice if, despite Swabian austerity, people in Swabia could at least get some measurable value in return. In any case, water, flour, a little onions and lettuce, and at most a teaspoon full of cheese (worth a total of less than 2 euros) are not enough for 13.90. If you added cheese (and cream) for 1 euro, it would taste good and both the host and the guest would be happy. P. S. Cream appears in just as many Kässpätzle recipes as broth. But it was also primarily about the ingredient “cheese”.

Had a Kaiserschmarren (which can also be ordered without raisins!) It was very tasty for my taste!! However, you should know that it is very caramelized. So it's more for those with a sweet tooth ;) Service was very friendly and quick with service.

We were in Memmingen for the first time today. Since we came from the south on a motorbike, we are looking for German cuisine! And what can I say…….sensationally delicious and excellent service! It doesn't get much better than this! Definitely the best knuckle I have eaten so far and it was also carved under the guidance of our waiter. A perfect evening for 5 hungry bikers. This is exactly how gastronomy should be! That's exactly how you want it!

Very large portions. I do not recommend pork shank for one person, it can easily be one portion for two or even three people.

Everything is perfect here - authentic from the service to the house to the really delicious food. A comparatively small menu, but with local dishes is really great. Kaiserschmarren is also delicious, with a clear caramel note :)

The one place you must go to when you’re in Memmingen! I never thought I’d be this blown away by Bavarian food, until I came here. A bit expensive, but well worth every penny.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while stopping for a night in the city. We found a welcoming place, very kind staff as well as excellent traditional Bavarian food. We ate the famous pork shank and the typical dessert Kaiserschmarrn. All very good. To be recommended.

Well, a very good place. Lively, not specialized for tourists. The food is delicious, the waiters are great, very fast, friendly, and give excellent recommendations. Incredibly, one of them spoke Russian very well. If you are in Memminen then you just need to stop by to complete the picture.

The service was nice, but very rushed, which made it difficult to sit comfortably, even though it was not busy at all. There were still several places available. Homemade pepper sauce is very tasty.
