There were five of us, and even though some of the food was good, it was very, very expensive. The service was very disappointing; we sat there for over an hour without drinking anything. It wasn't so busy that two waiters overlooked our empty glasses. Amounts under €15 can only be paid in cash, but that's not a problem, as the food prices are over €15. Restrooms are on the first floor, which has many stairs. When I asked how people with wheelchairs, etc., should manage, the only answer I got was that they just can't go to the restroom. A terrible answer 🙈

We were seated at a large table inside, where two friendly ladies were sitting. We enjoyed delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere (the Wiena and the Kaiserschmarren 🔝). The service from Rebecca and her colleagues was super friendly and professional. If you like hearty food, this is the place for you. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The waiter was particularly nasty that day, and if he comes back, I won't go back. He's so rude. He asked my husband for his drink order but didn't even acknowledge me. He had nothing to eat or drink, but brought me two glasses.

The ambiance and service were very good. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle were mediocre at best. Additionally, the plate was very dirty (on the bottom) and very greasy. The waiter handed me the plate, and unfortunately, it immediately put me off my appetite. Please be careful in this regard in the future (this was also mentioned to the waiter at the end). My wife's pasta was, according to her, very tasty.

Rustic atmosphere in terms of service and ambiance. Many people like that, but not my style. Nevertheless, the staff were all attentive and on the ball, so I was able to finish the starter and dessert in the short wait for the train. The soup was very good. It tasted homemade. The cheese spaetzle (Kasspatzen) wasn't bad either, but they could have been a bit more flavorful. The onions, in particular, were a bit bland. For a quick meal, you definitely can't go wrong with the blue grape!

I haven't had this much fun eating in a long time. Great team and a very cozy atmosphere. Absolutly amazing... Thank you so much...

We were there for lunch today. It's described as one of the best restaurants online. In my opinion, there are better ones. Good, home-style cooking, no frills. You can't go wrong with roast pork with cabbage and dumplings, pork schnitzel with fried potatoes, and spaghetti with shrimp. The Kaiserschmarrn didn't live up to our expectations.

This was our second time here. A lovely, rustic restaurant. The food was fantastic. Everything from the tomato soup to the pork knuckle was delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommended!

1st visit: The service is great... super nice, attentive, and friendly. They immediately knew about the gluten-free diet... The children were well entertained despite the restaurant being full... we immediately felt at home... even our dog was totally pampered... highly recommended. 2nd visit: The complete opposite... incredibly unfriendly service, we felt like we were being a nuisance, the waiter was very annoyed, even though it wasn't as busy as the last time... he didn't even know what gluten-free was... We won't be coming a third time.

Really good local food and great service. We arrived around 8:30pm and were seated immediately, had beer in front of us in 5 minutes and food not long after. I can really recommend this restaurant.

Very, very delicious food, with big and tasty portions. The hosts are nice and helpful.

We were in Memmingen for business and had dinner at the Blaue Traube twice – 10 out of 10 – super-friendly, young waitresses who were on the ball and didn't leave us hanging for long. They also advised the table next to us in perfect French about Bavarian specialties! A culinary dream, too, even though the portions were smaller on the second visit, but we'll be back :)

The food was very good and the portions were large. The tomato soup was fantastic. The meat was soft and well-seasoned, and the potatoes and bacon complemented the meat perfectly. The service was friendly. I recommend it 😁

Very good food and service, our waitress was very kind. Potatotes were amazing. We spent like 25 per person (we were 3): 2 main dishes, a side and dessert. The only downside is the smoke coming from the outside tables into the restaurant, which was unpleasant. I hope they can address that somehow. Restaurant is very pretty and cozy. I can neither understand nor confirm the high rating of 4.7. The service was fast and attentive. The food was rather average, with neither exceptional quality nor flavor. The cheese spaetzle was nothing compared to the ones at the hotel restaurant Weißes Ross. The farmer's omelet was also standard. The salad came with cocktail sauce from a tube or something similar. There are better options downtown.

We really enjoyed our first visit, and the meal was delicious, too. The knuckle of pork is absolutely delicious, and the staff were right when they said I wouldn't finish it all. As I said: plenty. We really enjoy it here, and if you don't like the relaxed atmosphere and the direct tone of the staff, leave the place to those who do. Because the guys and girls are simply fantastic, honest, and warm. As I said: we're repeat customers and will definitely be back.

I went based on recommendations, good food. But....there was a gentleman on the bench right at the entrance to the restaurant (I hope he wasn't the owner), God forbid he was coughing so hard, I couldn't even eat. Nauseous

I had schnitzel with spaetzle and a local beer. The service was attentive and the food was delicious. This restaurant was recommended to me several times by locals. Apparently, you can't go wrong with this restaurant, except for not ordering dessert...

The service and cuisine are a perfect match! We stopped in for the second time while passing through. We were not disappointed. It was once again delicious. The bread dumplings in mushroom sauce and the roast beef with onion and cheese spaetzle won us over again. We'd be happy to come back.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely out of proportion. The onion roast beef was cooked all the way through (I ordered it medium), and the cheese spaetzle was hard to find with a magnifying glass. Unfortunately, the spaetzle only tasted of salt and pepper. Plus a side salad for €6.50 – what do you get for that? A small bowl with a lettuce leaf, a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato, and two spoonfuls of cabbage. Truly outrageous. The waiter didn't even respond to criticism, but tried to justify himself with a strange argument. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

A group of a dozen jolly boys thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Although we only tried to book on the afternoon of the evening we wanted to eat, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Everyone's food was excellent, beautifully presented and plentiful.

Such a beautiful restaurant! While we were passing through and wanted a delicious dinner, we stood in front of the 'Zur blau Traube' and a sign at the entrance that said "Dogs are expressly welcome" confirmed to us that this was the right place for us. We hadn't made a reservation, there were two of us + a dog and we were greeted incredibly warmly. Although there was no table for us, we were asked if we wanted to sit at a larger table. From our side it was ok, but the nice employee also asked at the table and the guests also agreed and it should be a super delicious and fun evening! The first thing our dog got was a bowl of water - thank you for that! We were served quickly and so friendly by all the service staff with a really natural friendliness! Class!!! The food was great, once cheese spaetzle, once Gröstl, and once schnitzel with warm potato salad! All three dishes were so delicious! The portions are a good size and the price-performance ratio is right! In addition, the dice group at the table was so great, the four ladies from Ammersee, the couple from Switzerland, us Rhinelanders - very funny and the service staff joined in! You can tell that there must be a very good atmosphere within the team! Great and keep it up!!! Our little dog also has one to say goodbye. We got some delicacies from the kitchen and we had a nice chat with our waiter! We will definitely recommend the restaurant “Zur blau Traube”! So much warmth - thank you very much! Unfortunately I don't have any photos to add; I couldn't get around to it because I was laughing because of how funny the evening was!

An incredibly charming, tastefully decorated, cozy restaurant. The service is unbeatable - very professional, attentive, friendly, humorous, impeccable. And very child friendly. It is not self-evident that Daniel, who served us, paid so much attention to our daughter and tried very hard to ensure that the visit to the restaurant was a pleasant experience for her too. When it comes to the selection of dishes and their quality and taste, nothing is left to be desired. Definitely worth recommending! Excellent all around!

We were there as a group of girls. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice. Unfortunately the waitresses (2 men) were totally over it. One of them said he was kidding me, so the other guests looked at me completely confused. He thought it was funny, we didn't. We sat longer and the waitress came every 20 minutes and was totally pushy and wanted to force us to order something to drink. If the conditions ask if everything is OK, that's okay, but not with the words 'so and now 3 waters and a Lillet, right?' On Top came when we said that we would like to pay this choice of words 'yes finally.... Like, together, separately, cash or card' It doesn't work at all 😳 I'm really thinking about going there again with the girls. But I tend to say no.

Quaint restaurant with very friendly staff! We reserved a table and sat at a large table inside. The drinks were served to us very quickly. Even when the first glass was almost empty, we were carefully asked whether we would like another one. The food also came in a reasonable time, we didn't have to wait long. The roast pork was very good, as was the Hexentopfle. The schnitzel was a little burnt on the bottom side and the roasted potatoes were a little too greasy. We liked it a lot and will definitely go there again to eat.
