Wir riefen an, um für den Abend einen Tisch zu reservieren. Kein Problem, wir kamen abends wieder und wurden sofort an unseren Tisch geführt. Schönes Ambiente, sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Servicepersonal. Wir mussten nicht lange auf unsere Bestellung warten und das Essen war köstlich. Von Anfang bis Ende gab es nichts auszusetzen. Es war ausgezeichnet, vielen Dank!

Sehr Uhrig eingerichtetes Restaurant. Sehr leckere Deutsche Kost. Kann man nur Empfehlen aber ohne Reserviere geht hier meistens nix!

Das Essenn war hervorragend & auch der Hund wurde mit Schweinsbraten verwöhnt. Gerne wieder!

Zum Abendmenü gibt es eigentlich nicht viel zu sagen – einfach überragend! Kreativ, geschmacklich auf höchstem Niveau und perfekt abgestimmt. Jeder Gang war ein Erlebnis für sich. Man merkt sofort mit wie viel Leidenschaft hier gekocht wird. Für uns eines der besten Restaurants überhaupt.

Spontan nach Altstadt Runde mit Hunger hier eingekehrt und äußerst angenehm überrascht worden: sehr freundlicher Service, sehr leckeres Essen, angemessene Preise. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und der lustige Smalltalk mit den Kellnern war noch das Schmankerl oben drauf. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Netter und schneller Service. Das Schnitzel war super, meine Bratkartoffeln ein wenig zu ungleichmäßig, sodass die großen Stücke nicht angebraten waren. Geschmacklich aber gut.

Wir waren vor vier Tagen zu viert dort und haben draußen gesessen. Bestellt haben wir zwei Mal ein vegetarisches Gericht, zwei Mal verschiedene nicht vegetarische Gerichte. Leider hat es keinem von uns wirklich gut geschmeckt. Der Nachtisch (bayrische Creme) war ebenfalls leider nur mäßig.

Der sehr guten Bewertungen folgend sind wir hier eingekehrt. Drinnen sehr schönes, bodenständiges Ambiente. Das Essen ist gut, die Auswahl regional. Der Service ist überwiegend zugewandt und freundlich. Der Personal-Tisch irritiert ein wenig, eine gut frequentierte "Raucherinsel"

Tolles Restaurant mit sehr angenehmer Atmosphäre und freundlichem Personal. Die Karte bietet spannende schwäbische Spezialitäten, und die Portionen sind wirklich riesig.

Also die kässpatzen waren garnicht gut. Zuwenig Käse und für den Preis auch viel zu kleine Portion. Kann man nicht empfehlen

Typisches Restaurant. Ich hatte eine fantastische Schweinshaxe! Knusprige Schwarte und unglaublich zartes und saftiges Fleisch.

Also die Preise sind gut, das Ambiente ist toll, und der Service passt auch. Leider war das Schnitzel wirklich nicht gut. Arbeitet an euren Schnitzel skills und wir sehen uns wieder.

Es war alles gut, der Service war extrem schnell, auch das Essen kam hurtig und schmeckte gut. Die Portionen waren nur allgemein sehr überschaubar für den Preis. Klar, Innenstadt, Fußgängerzone usw, insgesamt hat für mich trotzdem das Preisleistungsverhältnis nicht gestimmt. Und wenn der kleine Kleine danach noch dringend zum Bäcker will und eine Breze braucht, war die Kinderportion wirklich zu mager. Ansonsten kann man da gut hingehen.

Das war das leckerste Gericht, das wir bei Memming gegessen haben! Die Portion reicht locker für zwei Personen, aber auch für drei. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Highly recommended! In a beautiful village, the traditional food makes for a fantastic culinary experience. We'll definitely be back every time we're in Memmingen, which we usually are! They never disappoint!

The service and food were impeccable, but unfortunately the noise level in the back dining room, caused by a large group, was so high that you couldn't hear yourself think. We left as quickly as possible after eating, which was a shame... because otherwise we would have enjoyed it, but it was simply too loud.

The food was good and the service was perfectly fine. We also accepted to share a table with other guests, which was absolutely okay, even though there was a small child whose behavior was sometimes disruptive — we chose to be understanding. However, what really affected our experience was the presence of a dog inside the restaurant, belonging to the guests sharing the table with us. The space is very small, with only a few tables, and the dog kept whining and shaking itself constantly under the table. Hair was visibly flying around and even reaching the table. I do not have pets and I am genuinely afraid of dogs. More importantly, this is not something we were informed about before being seated — we only realized it after sitting down, which made the situation uncomfortable and difficult to address. In such a small indoor space, I believe allowing pets inside can significantly impact other guests’ comfort. As paying customers who behaved respectfully and did not disturb anyone, it is reasonable to expect the same consideration in return. Overall, an acceptable experience food-wise, but the pet policy seriously affected our comfort and would make us hesitate to return.

On January 1st, 2026, a group of four of us ate dinner in the back area of ​​the "Blauer Traube" in Memmingen. It was very busy. Great food and prices, including onion roast beef, spaetzle, schnitzel, and the Memmingen specialty, Gröstl. Everything was very good, including the wines and beer. The restaurant and staff were also very authentically Bavarian.

Wonderful restaurant with Allgäu specialties! This restaurant is highly recommended! The customer is king, the service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the food is of excellent quality! We had Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), Maultaschen (filled pasta pockets), and cabbage rolls, and also a schnitzel plate with spaetzle. Since the restaurant isn't very large, reservations are recommended. The elaborate interior design completes the lovely experience!

A beautiful 300-year-old house with a rustic, cozy feel. The food was excellent; we opted for the Allgäu specialties, which was a great choice! The service was quick and attentive; we didn't have to wait long for our food. We'd gladly return anytime!

We went the first time, and since we didn't have a reservation, they couldn't serve us; you have to book in advance. But with a reservation, it's highly recommended—the food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is peaceful.

The beer is served perfectly chilled, and to finish, try their Williams schnapps—high-quality and aromatic. Honest, traditional cuisine and generous portions.

We were working on a construction project in Memmingen and ate at this restaurant every day for three weeks. It's a must-visit if you're in the area! Great service, excellent food, and the best Kaiserschmarren I've ever had! We'll definitely be back.

It was a lovely evening; the birthday child spontaneously received an ice cream with a candle and a serenade from the waiter. Besides a children's menu, there was also a template for a wish list to Santa Claus and even a mailbox for it. The food was consistently good, and the service was excellent and very entertaining. We highly recommend it if you're looking for good, traditional German food and fun service.

The location is very good, and the outdoor area feels cozy and inviting. The staff wears red checked shirts, which seems rather disguised and has little to do with a Bavarian-Swabian restaurant. Unfortunately, the employees aren't particularly friendly or accommodating either—you feel more like you're in a kind of mass processing facility. The food is okay, especially for tourists who aren't familiar with the regional cuisine. However, anyone looking for truly authentic, high-quality Bavarian-Swabian food will probably be disappointed here.

The Kaiserschmarn alone is worth a visit, it was amazing :-)

There were five of us, and even though some of the food was good, it was very, very expensive. The service was very disappointing; we sat there for over an hour without drinking anything. It wasn't so busy that two waiters overlooked our empty glasses. Amounts under €15 can only be paid in cash, but that's not a problem, as the food prices are over €15. Restrooms are on the first floor, which has many stairs. When I asked how people with wheelchairs, etc., should manage, the only answer I got was that they just can't go to the restroom. A terrible answer 🙈

We were seated at a large table inside, where two friendly ladies were sitting. We enjoyed delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere (the Wiena and the Kaiserschmarren 🔝). The service from Rebecca and her colleagues was super friendly and professional. If you like hearty food, this is the place for you. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The service was friendly. But the food was far too expensive for what you got. The schnitzel was paper-thin for €18. And there was no cheese to be found in the cheese spaetzle.

Rustic atmosphere in terms of service and ambiance. Many people like that, but not my style. Nevertheless, the staff were all attentive and on the ball, so I was able to finish the starter and dessert in the short wait for the train. The soup was very good. It tasted homemade. The cheese spaetzle (Kasspatzen) wasn't bad either, but they could have been a bit more flavorful. The onions, in particular, were a bit bland. For a quick meal, you definitely can't go wrong with the blue grape!

Even though I only drank 2 radlers there, I was served very nicely, thank you very much
