Great Swabian menu, very tasty food and friendly service!

A beautiful 300-year-old house with a rustic, cozy feel. The food was excellent; we opted for the Allgäu specialties, which was a great choice! The service was quick and attentive; we didn't have to wait long for our food. We'd gladly return anytime!

We went the first time, and since we didn't have a reservation, they couldn't serve us; you have to book in advance. But with a reservation, it's highly recommended—the food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is peaceful.

Kindness and typical products. Here everything is truly cooked to order, which is not often found. Fantastic, really good food and a typical place.

A cozy Bavarian restaurant with a warm atmosphere and excellent service. The reindeer goulash was soft and rich, accompanied by delicious spätzle and Brussels sprouts with bacon. The beer is served perfectly chilled, and to finish, try their Williams schnapps—high-quality and aromatic. Honest, traditional cuisine and generous portions.

We were working on a construction project in Memmingen and ate at this restaurant every day for three weeks. It's a must-visit if you're in the area! Great service, excellent food, and the best Kaiserschmarren I've ever had! We'll definitely be back.

Somehow, the service staff in Germany aren't very attentive. Once you've finished your main course, you realize it would be okay to leave now.

It was a lovely evening; the birthday child spontaneously received an ice cream with a candle and a serenade from the waiter. Besides a children's menu, there was also a template for a wish list to Santa Claus and even a mailbox for it. The food was consistently good, and the service was excellent and very entertaining. We highly recommend it if you're looking for good, traditional German food and fun service.

The location is very good, and the outdoor area feels cozy and inviting. The staff wears red checked shirts, which seems rather disguised and has little to do with a Bavarian-Swabian restaurant. Unfortunately, the employees aren't particularly friendly or accommodating either—you feel more like you're in a kind of mass processing facility. The food is okay, especially for tourists who aren't familiar with the regional cuisine. However, anyone looking for truly authentic, high-quality Bavarian-Swabian food will probably be disappointed here.

We spontaneously got seating for 19 people. Thanks to Daniel, who made it possible and entertained us with his charm and enthusiasm. The food was fantastic!!! We'd be happy to come back!

In my opinion, the restaurant would have deserved five stars just for the fact that there was a menu with non-alcoholic aperitifs on the table. But the food and the rustic atmosphere were also excellent. I recommend making a table reservation.

We sat outside with our dog. The food was excellent value for money! The hospitality of the staff and the manager towards dogs is particularly noteworthy. My dog ​​got a large end piece of roast pork, which they reserve especially for dogs because they don't serve them as food ☺️ absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much!

There were five of us, and even though some of the food was good, it was very, very expensive. The service was very disappointing; we sat there for over an hour without drinking anything. It wasn't so busy that two waiters overlooked our empty glasses. Amounts under €15 can only be paid in cash, but that's not a problem, as the food prices are over €15. Restrooms are on the first floor, which has many stairs. When I asked how people with wheelchairs, etc., should manage, the only answer I got was that they just can't go to the restroom. A terrible answer 🙈

Very pleasant both inside and out in summer, with very prompt and courteous staff. The food is delicious and the portions are generously sized.

There were six of us and no reservation. The restaurant was completely full. Thirty minutes later, we were offered a table. We were seated at a large table inside, where two friendly ladies were sitting. We enjoyed delicious food in a pleasant atmosphere (the Wiena and the Kaiserschmarren 🔝). The service from Rebecca and her colleagues was super friendly and professional. If you like hearty food, this is the place for you. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The waiter was particularly nasty that day, and if he comes back, I won't go back. He's so rude. He asked my husband for his drink order but didn't even acknowledge me. He had nothing to eat or drink, but brought me two glasses.

The service was friendly. But the food was far too expensive for what you got. The schnitzel was paper-thin for €18. And there was no cheese to be found in the cheese spaetzle.

The ambiance and service were very good. Unfortunately, the cheese spaetzle were mediocre at best. Additionally, the plate was very dirty (on the bottom) and very greasy. The waiter handed me the plate, and unfortunately, it immediately put me off my appetite. Please be careful in this regard in the future (this was also mentioned to the waiter at the end). My wife's pasta was, according to her, very tasty.

Unfortunately, we encountered an unprofessional, moody waitress. The male waitresses were very nice! The food was average. The potato salad was very good, but the Wiener schnitzel was extremely greasy and not crispy.

It was an amazing experience. Delicious food, quickly served and always a smile at all staff face. I definetly recomend this place.

Rustic atmosphere in terms of service and ambiance. Many people like that, but not my style. Nevertheless, the staff were all attentive and on the ball, so I was able to finish the starter and dessert in the short wait for the train. The soup was very good. It tasted homemade. The cheese spaetzle (Kasspatzen) wasn't bad either, but they could have been a bit more flavorful. The onions, in particular, were a bit bland. For a quick meal, you definitely can't go wrong with the blue grape!

I haven't had this much fun eating in a long time. Great team and a very cozy atmosphere. Absolutly amazing... Thank you so much...

We were there for lunch today. It's described as one of the best restaurants online. In my opinion, there are better ones. Good, home-style cooking, no frills. You can't go wrong with roast pork with cabbage and dumplings, pork schnitzel with fried potatoes, and spaghetti with shrimp. The Kaiserschmarrn didn't live up to our expectations.

You can't go wrong here if you want to enjoy traditional Allgäu cuisine. The food was consistently excellent. The service was gruff, typical of Bavaria. The prices are reasonable.

This was our second time here. A lovely, rustic restaurant. The food was fantastic. Everything from the tomato soup to the pork knuckle was delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommended!

1st visit: The service is great... super nice, attentive, and friendly. They immediately knew about the gluten-free diet... The children were well entertained despite the restaurant being full... we immediately felt at home... even our dog was totally pampered... highly recommended. 2nd visit: The complete opposite... incredibly unfriendly service, we felt like we were being a nuisance, the waiter was very annoyed, even though it wasn't as busy as the last time... he didn't even know what gluten-free was... We won't be coming a third time.

Really good local food and great service. We arrived around 8:30pm and were seated immediately, had beer in front of us in 5 minutes and food not long after. I can really recommend this restaurant.

We were in Memmingen for business and had dinner at the Blaue Traube twice – 10 out of 10 – super-friendly, young waitresses who were on the ball and didn't leave us hanging for long. They also advised the table next to us in perfect French about Bavarian specialties! A culinary dream, too, even though the portions were smaller on the second visit, but we'll be back :)

Very good food and service, our waitress was very kind. Potatotes were amazing. We spent like 25 per person (we were 3): 2 main dishes, a side and dessert. The only downside is the smoke coming from the outside tables into the restaurant, which was unpleasant. I hope they can address that somehow. Restaurant is very pretty and cozy. Would definitely eat here again.

I can neither understand nor confirm the high rating of 4.7. The service was fast and attentive. The food was rather average, with neither exceptional quality nor flavor. The cheese spaetzle was nothing compared to the ones at the hotel restaurant Weißes Ross. The farmer's omelet was also standard. The salad came with cocktail sauce from a tube or something similar. There are better options downtown.

If not here, where then? We've been here several times and are thrilled. Be it the food, which is always plentiful and delicious, or the staff and owner. We really enjoyed our first visit, and the meal was delicious, too. The knuckle of pork is absolutely delicious, and the staff were right when they said I wouldn't finish it all. As I said: plenty. We really enjoy it here, and if you don't like the relaxed atmosphere and the direct tone of the staff, leave the place to those who do. Because the guys and girls are simply fantastic, honest, and warm. As I said: we're repeat customers and will definitely be back.
