Das essen war sehr köstlich Bedienung war sehr Höflich essen kam schnell dafür war es richtig gut Restaurant an sich sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr gemütlich ich würde hier immer wieder her kommen ehmpfehle ich weiter

We had our funeral service here and felt very comfortable! The rooms were great, we had endless space! The food and especially the service was great! Thank you very much for a very nice day despite the occasion! We will definitely be back!

Every time we eat there we are very satisfied. The portions are plentiful and well prepared. So far we have always had very nice service. The ambience inside and outside on the terrace is also very appealing. We'd love to come back!

We had a lovely celebration (communion) in the winery house. Everything was great, the food was very tasty and there was a lot. Everything was super organized and everyone was very friendly!

Completely overwhelmed. Our family celebration was a complete disaster. Waited an hour and a half for the food, it didn't even come as we ordered. The kitchen was completely incompetent. Vegan dish came as a beef burger. Can't recommend. And when Rotkäppchen sparkling wine becomes winemaker sparkling wine, you know from the start that you should disappear straight away. Unfortunately a total failure.

We were there with five people and had to to ask for a menu, they said all the menus were out even though 5 large tables were still empty. After almost 2 hours and repeat asking for the meals they brought us 3 side salads as a starter in the house, stating the means were still 15 minutes away. Half an hour later the first two meals arrived, mine as ordered the 2nd one overcooked, the Turkey steak was hard and black at the edges and came with fried potatoes rather then the ordered French fries. 15 minutes later the 3rd dish came with the burger pattie red and undercooked which we returned. Another 15 minutes later the 4th dish came. The rump steak was ordered well done but came medium and was also missing the French fries. The fries for dish 3 and 4 never came, neither the 5th dish being simple fries with tomato sauce and mayo for the child that has been waiting almodt 2.5 hours by that time. The apologising waiter told us that the cook collapsed and was away in leave and the owner stood in for cooking. While we sympathise with the situation, we believe this should have been communicated upfront together with any expected waiting times. Also the menu selection probably should have been reduced to simpler meals, even though waiting 2.5 hours for some fries does not infix ate even simple meals would have worked. We offered to pay for the drinks and the 2 meals and were offered to only pay for the drinks, so that's a fair offer. The environment could need a bit of work as the room is very high, lovely and historic, but high and large with lots of noise and very big round tables that void the setting. As others stated before, the place has potential with the right vision.

This is the second review I've written so far and the reason is to save others from huge disappointment. Our family celebration on Easter Sunday 2025 was an absolute disaster. Chaos when eating, total overwhelm in the kitchen and in service, a meat burger passed off as a vegan burger, different side dishes than ordered, waiting times of 1.5-2 hours and finally substandard (frozen) quality of the food. Frank Rosin would call it a disgrace for the culinary guild. If, as an operator, I cannot find a replacement for sick staff, the menu must be radically reduced in size and be of a solid quality, or the restaurant must be temporarily closed. The fact that only cash payment was possible fit into the picture. I have no idea how long the current operator wants to continue like this and would rather risk a one-off guest visit with bad reviews than forego income, but our Easter celebration was spoiled and our precious time was robbed. We had to recharge the bad energy in the neighboring “chapel”; a different world or galaxy compared to the winery house and very! recommended.

There were two of us there. I ordered calamari. A fried squid tube came in one piece. The breading had clearly too much salt (congratulations to the loving chef!) and the portion was a bit small. The dipping sauce was not ajoli (garlic mayonnaise), but rather a kind of salad dressing. The colleague also received the same sauce for his grilled plate. The non-alcoholic Büble Weissbier is one of the better non-alcoholic beers. The winemaker's house is very clean and well-kept, but the room is a bit noisy due to its high ceiling. The service was attentive and friendly. The prices are reasonable.

Wir erhielten ein sehr gutes Essen und einen aufmerksamen und sehr wertschätzenden Service. Es wurde eine Tagesempfehlung ausgesprochen (Dorade und Matjes). Auch die Getränke gibt es in großer Auswahl.

Lokal sehr ungemütlich und sehr laut. Hier stimmt dss Preisleiszungsverhältnis nicht. Es hat einfach nicht geschmeckt Wir waren zu viert. Ein Essen ging komplett zurück. Leider nicht zu empfehlen

Food and service were really very good. The prices are also right. The only thing that didn't really appeal to me was the decor and the music really didn't fit at all. But that's a matter of taste. So I still recommend it.

Went to the winery again for a long time (5 years). New owners and I was super excited. Ate chestnut soup and lamb shank and it was very tasty. The service was just great, nice and funny.

Today we were back at the Winzerhaus Frauenstein for the first time in years. Everything has changed for the better with the current owner. Great ambience, delicious food, great service...not comparable to back then. Visited the winery house for the first time. Great that you can park in the yard! The food made a good impression, except for the breaded fish, which you felt was just as familiar from the frozen food at home. Especially since the prices are already proud. Schnitzel and the daily special with noodles and unfortunately sold out chanterelles that were replaced by champions were great! The service appeared to be new and was very attentive and helpful. I think we'll come by again.

We were recently at the Winzerhaus and were thrilled. The service was very nice and very quick. Food was fresh and service always checked whether everything was OK. It was very tasty. The restaurant looks a bit older from the outside, but the terrace and indoor area were very nice. Overall great and I would always recommend it.

We hosted the confirmation ceremony on June 7th, 2024. We received good, imaginative advice in advance. Nothing was imposed and our own ideas were accepted. There were 28 of us. The tables were attractively set, the service was attentive (not intrusive). very friendly.The appetizer platter offered was a good recommendation.We had agreed on a small menu.All the dishes were delicious.Due to the amount of food ordered, there were slight delays.But it wasn't a problem, we had a good time.All in all, one Successful event. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine.

It's only very difficult to have a conversation in a restaurant. There was noise even though there were only 20 of us at the table. What a shame!

The winery house in Wiesbaden-Frauenstein is a true gem. The service is excellent - attentive, friendly and always concerned about the well-being of the guests. The price-performance ratio is more than fair, you really get a lot for your money here. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The cuisine is excellent and offers a variety of delicious dishes that are always fresh and prepared with love. A visit to the winery house is absolutely recommended! We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. We are already looking forward to the next time 😊

We were over charged for items including 3 bottles of local wine for €33.90 each, the waiter Zubie, never told us the wine cost €33 ea. We went to the winery that sells that wine (down the street) and it sells for €7.40 ea. I believe we were purposely misled and ripped off. Beware!! Unfortunately you cannot trust the waiter. This restaurant is under new ownership.

We were there on Sunday April 7th. here. Thanks to the nice weather we were able to sit outside and enjoy our food. My wife and son had meatloaf and I had a cordon bleu. Each with fries. The fries were crispy and good. The meatloaf was well seasoned and the sauces were delicious. Especially the pepper cream sauce. The cordon bleu was very well breaded and nice and crispy and the meat was juicy and tender. The cheese was a good mountain cheese, very tasty. The service was attentive and super friendly. We will definitely come here again, we were very satisfied.

Das Winzerhaus bietet ein schönes Ambiente. Der Service ist schnell und höflich. Das Essen ist nicht außergewöhnliches, aber auch nicht schlecht. Wir hatten einen Burger und ein Schnitzel. Der absolute Preishammer ist allerdings die Weinschorle. 0,2 L. für stolze 5,90€ gemacht mit einem Riesling, der laut Karte 0,2L. 4,90€ kostet. Eine große Weinschorle für ganze 11,80€; Suche den Fehler!! Wenn diese Preisdiskrepanz mal behoben wurde, werden wir gerne wieder zurückkommen, vorher wahrscheinlich nicht.

Delicious food and very nice service

Even though we had to wait almost 1 hour for the food, I give it 4 stars. Food was tasty and the staff is very friendly! But... the surroundings weren't good. We (13 people) were put into the large hall and two round tables were pushed together, which was uncomfortable. We brought the wrong food once - but it tasted good - and the rump steak was completely cooked through. It's a shame, it could have been perfect if the waiting time hadn't been so long.

Very tasty food and good wine. Price performance is definitely there!!! The staff was very friendly and, despite the celebration next door, always made sure to check on us. I thought it was really good that, despite the stress, they managed to do it without any apparent effort. There is also a larger parking lot. Where there is space for around 20 cars.

I can't remember the last time I had so much ready-made produce on one plate. With the exception of the fries, the taste experience wasn't great. The schnitzel is probably just frozen goods, the champion sauce was served with canned champions and a tasteless whitish mushy "sauce". A side salad was only available for an additional charge. So quality and price are very different. But if you enjoy eating ready-made food, you might be happy there.

Wir waren schon ein paar mal da und haben mit Freude festgestellt, dass es dem Pächter gelungen ist, aus dem einst etwas ungemütlichen Gastraum einen sehr geschmackvollen Raum zu gestalten, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr gut, besonders die Maronensuppe. Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, es war trotz des vollen Lokals alles top. Man konnte sich trotzdem in Ruhe unterhalten. Gerne immer wieder.

Wir waren heute mit 4 Personen zum Abendessen dort. Ich hatte Maronensuppe, Entenbrust mit Knödel und Rotkohl, Tiramisu. Meine Frau das Winzerschnitzel. Freunde hatten den Backfisch und die Entenkeule. Wir waren alle sehr begeistert von der Qualität des Essens und auch vom tollen und netten Service. Es war ein toller Abend

Sehr netter Service! Die Miesmuscheln von der Tageskarte waren mit frischem Gemüse zubereitet und sehr gut, ebenso die kräftig gewürzte Roulade mit Rosenkohl (perfekt, nicht zu weich). Auch der Hackbraten und der frische Salat können empfohlen werden. Parkplatz direkt neben dem Haus. Wenn im Nebenraum eine Feier ist, hallt es ein wenig, aber da kann man die Tür schließen. Wir kommen jedenfalls gerne wieder!

Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service. Das Essen sucht in dieser Region seinesgleichen. Wir haben Paella und die Fischplatte bestellt. Das Tiramisu und die alkoholfreien Cocktails sind ebenso zu empfehlen.

Das Personal ist gut gelaunt, geht auf Wünsche ein und man kommt ins Gespräch. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, frisch zubereitet und die Auswahl gut. Es gibt auch spanische Spezialitäten, was auf dem Flyer nicht so rauskommt, aber die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut. Preise angemessen und Portionen mehr als ausreichend. Es ist sehr ansprechend dekoriert, was draußen über die Nähe der Straße und drin über die etwas hallenartige Bauaurt hinwegtröstet. Es war ein sehr schöner Abend mit guten Gesprächen und wir kommen gern wieder und bringen Freunde mit.

Wir waren 2 Abende hintereinander im Winzerhaus essen und mehr als zufrieden. Ausgezeichneter Service mit einem sympathischen, lustigen und aufmerksamen Kellner, schönes Ambiente (wir saßen draußen), sehr gutes Essen und große Portionen - klare Weiterempfehlung!

Das Winzerhaus in Frauenstein hat eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an Gerichten. Überwiegend hatten wir Fischgerichte und sie bieten die auch in einer hohen Qualität an. Der Fisch war super gebraten, außen knusprig und innen saftig. Der Service war hervorragend. Dieser war sehr schnell mit Getränke da und ist jedem Wunsch von uns nachgekommen. Ob wir Extras zum Gericht wollten oder eine Abänderung des Gerichts, es war möglich. Auf der gemütlichen Terrasse wurden wir abends sogar mit Decken versorgt.

Passt einfach alles: Super Essen, außergewöhnlich zuvorkommender Service! Gerne wieder!

Ich war mit Freunden am Sonntag 20.09.23 bei einem Workshop im Winzerhaus. Im Anschluss haben wir dort noch etwas gegessen und getrunken und waren alle super positiv überrascht. Der Kellner Herr Zubair war total freundlich und sehr kompetent, er hat uns sogar unseren Sonderwunsch nach einer Tapasplatte erfüllt obwohl dies nicht auf der Karte stand. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit Discofox Workshop im Winzerhaus. Nicht nur der Workshop war bestens, sondern auch die nette Bedienungen hinter dem Tresen und nicht zu vergessen, die besonders nette und unkomplizierte Bedienung von Zubair, der uns auf Wunsch eine hervorragende Vorspeisenplatte servierte. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so eine nette, humorvolle, aufmerksame und unkomplizierte Bedienung erleben dürfen. Vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir waren mit 9 Personen zum Mittagessen an einem Sonntag. 4 von uns hatten die Fischplatte für drei Pers., mit 4 Tellern, da Senioren nicht mehr sooo viel essen. Das war köstlich und reichhaltig. Auch alle anderen 5 Personen mit versch. Gerichten waren begeistert vom Geschmack und der Frische und auch davon, dass alle Gerichte zum gleichen Zeitpunkt serviert wurden. Leider war das hausgemachte Tiramisu ausverkauft, aber die Creme Brulee hat uns mehr als genug entschädigt. Satt und glücklich sind wir nach Hause gegangen. Gern kommen wir wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich kann den Fisch nur empfehlen der zerfleddert wie Butter .. Ein Traum und das auch noch für ein paar Euro !!! Besser geht nicht..

Die Pilz Cremesuppe war phantastisch und frisch. Die Paella mit frischen Meeres Früchten geschmacklich sehr gut. Mit der neuen Küche sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein rundum sorglos Paket. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und immer für ein Spaß zu haben. Die Qualität der Speisen sind einwandfrei und verwöhnen den Gaumen. Die Ambiente ist einladend. Das Lokal ist sehr empfehlenswert. Auch Vierbeiner sind herzlich willkommen.

Sehr nettes Personal und kinderfreundlich. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden etwas. Sogar unser Hund wurde sehr gut versorgt. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt das Winzerhaus - aufgrund seiner Größe - zwar nicht so gemütlich wie ein kleines Lokal, aber der warmherzige Empfang macht das wieder wett. Wir sind spontan - nach einer Wanderung- dort eingekehrt, haben uns sehr willkommen und mit gutem Wein und Essen versorgt gefühlt. Der neue Wirt ist sehr zugewandt. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen und kehren dort sicher noch einmal ein.

Auf der Suche nach einem Stopp zum Mittagessen, landeten wir im Winzerhaus. Service, Speisen und Getränke erfreuten uns mit sehr guter Qualität eines typisch rheingauer Landgasthofes. Der Wort ist überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir haben uns hier wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir besuchen das Winzerhaus schon seit einigen Jahren. Der jetzige Inhaber und seine Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist schmackhaft. Die Salate sind immer sehr frisch zubereitet. Zum Abschluss wird immer ein Digestiv spendiert. Im Sommer kann man auf einer sehr schön gestalteten Terrasse sitzen.

Das Winzerhaus liegt im Wiesbadener Stadtteil Frauenstein direkt an der Durchfahrtstrasse. Frauenstein ist vor allem bekannt für seine Weinlokale, doch das sogenannte Winzerhaus besticht nicht durch Gemütlichkeit und Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Es gibt 2 große Säale, die sehr hallig sind. Für große Gruppen ist das in Ordnung, aber zu zweit ist nicht gerade gemütlich. Zwar bemühen sich die Männer vom Service sehr. Wenn man sie über Wein oder Speisen fragt , bekommt man nur eine angelernte Antwort. Die Speisekarte bietet viel zu viel Auswahl. 10 mal Schweineschnitzel, 10 mal Putenschnitzel usw. Nichts richtiges und nichts besonderes... Aber vorweg gibt es sehr cremiges Hummus mit Brot. Warum bietet man nicht mehr solch ausgefallene Gerichte?!
