Two glasses of lukewarm and not great chardonnay. Waiting an hour for three plates of pasta, certainly copious but not exceptional. No matter how much I search, I don't see how I can confirm the rating given to this restaurant.

Despite initial irritations regarding table reservations, it worked out in the end and freed up space in the basement area. Service was very friendly and the food was good too.

Perhaps due to the pre-Christmas season: double booking for a private party. It can happen, but one might expect people to express regret about it. Instead, no one is responsible and we move on to business as usual. In my opinion unprofessional, or just indifference towards the paying customers. Neither is really good in the catering industry. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices were okay. Unfortunately the pasta was soaked in oil. It's a shame, because the sauce actually tasted good. But I can't really make a recommendation.

We were there in a large group. The food was ok, no highlight. We found the female employee (boss?) to be a bit stressful and also very unprofessional when one of the employees made a faux pas. Don't come back for a while

I was in Wiesbaden on business and decided to visit this restaurant with a friend because it was relatively close to the Holiday Inn and was therefore within walking distance for us. We were greeted warmly and seated at a table for two (there is also enough space for larger groups). We opted for the winter/Christmas menu and ordered the vegetarian breaded sheep's cheese. After some homemade mulled wine and a few bottles of beer, we also chose a whiskey (18 year old :)) that seemed good at first glance, which we took from the wine/alcohol shelf next to our seat and ordered 3cl each. However, the restaurant menu should be revised here, as only “whiskey” is listed as an item on the menu, although there are a few different ones to choose from that vary greatly in price. Here we were served and chatted nicely by the manager of the restaurant, who says she is “Egyptian” and has been working in the restaurant business for a long time. As it turned out later (not really surprising), the whiskey we chose was really something special (>100€ a bottle), so we were happy to pay double the price per glass and left a little tip at the end. Overall, we had a very good evening and were impressed by the service and food. Can fully recommend this restaurant.

A nice eatery and fairly well accessible there’s car parking on site and a good bus connection. The staff are really nice and friendly with the right amount of attention I ordered a Jägerschnitzel but I was disappointed with the sauce seven or so half cut mushrooms in a brown gravy doesn’t constitute a good Jägersauce. The side salad was okay and the tiramisu was overpowered on the cream and no liqueur sorry to say I have had better. I appreciate the efforts of the service team just the kitchen was a bit of a letdown on my visit.

Really great restaurant! The food was delicious, good beer on tap and at a reasonable price. The friendly staff are also particularly praiseworthy! Served by a pretty lady from Egypt ;). If you ever come through Wiesbaden, this pub is definitely worth a visit!

Get first-class Argentinian steak. That's what you want. Very tasty to the point. The atmosphere and, above all, the service was very nice and fulfilled my wishes. On top of that, a very good red wine was recommended with the meat. My next business trip will definitely end here! Thanks :)

gut geführte Gaststätte, zügige Bestellannahme und Lieferung der Getränke und Speisen, obwohl immer gut besucht, schmackhaft und mengenmäßig okay (bin guter Esser), war in der Nähe unseres Hotels, auch die Gastlichkeiten in Wiesbaden direkt. Wir waren mehrmals dort zu Abend essen und trinken.

Rustic atmosphere like a mountain hut. Fast & attentive service. The schnitzel (onion & mushroom schnitzel) with fried potatoes were very good. Nice and delicate. 2x limoncello on the house.

We were there as a group. The staff was initially quite friendly and took our order. We waited over 1 hour for the food (restaurant wasn't full) and the side dishes were already lukewarm. Otherwise it was tasty, even if lukewarm fries are a minus point. The menu is clear and prices were ok. At the end it felt like every 5 minutes someone came to take one item away and ask if we wanted anything else and it was clearly time for us to go. I understand that you might want to have the table free for the next guests if they don't order anything else, but as I said it wasn't full and since we were sitting in a quiet corner we didn't bother anyone

I had very delicious lamb steak (super quality meat), with rosemary potatoes and fried vegetables - really, really tasty! I was last here about 2 years ago. I wasn't happy at that time. The chef and the service team are new and a visit here is really recommended.

Food was OK, but not particularly good. I actually expected more. I didn't find the atmosphere that nice. Maybe you could invest some money on sensible chairs and tables. Service was very friendly.

Visited “Die Hütte” for the first time today. Great food! The starter, bacon-wrapped dates, was very good. The main course, grill plate for one person (fish and meat) was great. However, the tzatziki was phenomenal. I have actually never had such fantastic tzatziki (not even in Greece). Otherwise all you can say is that it was a nice atmosphere on the terrace, great service and a super nice boss. Overall recommended.. Next time I'm in Wiesbaden I'll definitely come back here.

A really very cozy and pleasant restaurant. The food was great. There's nothing to complain about there. The prices are completely okay. And the pleasant stay will be remembered positively because of the very nice staff and, above all, the operator. She knew how to deal with guests. We visited this restaurant because it is the closest one to the HolidayInn Express hotel. The service is unobtrusive, courteous and very friendly. The food was really good and the prices are fair. We felt very comfortable and would always come back if we were in Wiesbaden again.

Had some language issues (I don’t speak German) but got there in the end. They do try and understand. I sat outside in the garden (inside equally as nice). I ordered kinder schnitzel and rocket salad. I don’t eat much. Water took my order. 5 mins later the boss ( ?) came out to explain in German that I’m not a kinder and I should get the normal size and take it away. I think that’s what she was saying. I explained I don’t eat much so she gave in. I suspect the language challenges worked in my favour!! It all came out together. If the kids portion was small, I’d hate to see the adult portion size! I still couldn’t finish it. Fries were so so. Salad had a lot of dressing. Schnitzel (chicken) was tender and moist. All good.

Don't understand the good reviews, ordered a lamb steak which was burnt and tasted like mince meat. Not sure what it was but not lamb. veggies were overcooked, and greasy, even though I asked no added oil. uneatable. salad came with mayo even though I said 3 times no sauce and mayo. 30 euros for one of the worst meals I have ever had. needless to say will not return

Quaint restaurant with a beer garden. We were looking for a restaurant near the hotel. The food was very good and quick. It was freshly prepared, everything was juicy and not dry. The service was very friendly, attentive and even asked if everything was OK.

There is serious discrimination among the waiters. My family and I went there to eat. We waited for an hour and got nothing. I tried to communicate with the waiter. The waiter pretended not to understand German, which made me very angry. In the end, we left without eating anything. left

Very friendly service and delicious food

I was traveling from England to Hungary and stopped halfway to rest. I visited a nearby restaurant for a meal. I ordered "SCHNITZEL 'WIENER ART' mit Zitrone" from the menu, but initially received a Cordon Bleu by mistake. I didn't notice and started eating, but then the waiter realized the error and replaced it with the schnitzel. Mistakes happen, no big deal. However, the schnitzel was extremely oily and greasy, and the meat was odd. I know how schnitzel should be made, and this was not good. It upset my stomach so much that I was up all night and had to drive another 900 km feeling unwell. I do not recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty food, extremely nice, friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere. Of our four evenings in Wiesbaden, we were here in the restaurant on three evenings and can highly recommend everything from pizza to schnitzel to salad. It is very pleasant to sit in both the beer garden and the restaurant. A big thank you again to the staff, who were really very nice and extremely helpful, every one of our wishes was taken into account. We will definitely come back next time we are in Wiesbaden. Thanks alot!

The shrimps in garlic were very tasty, but the dressing on the salad had too much vinegar for me. In general, some color would be helpful outdoors

Update: The catering for the business meeting with 16 people worked perfectly. The first good impression during the visit a week before was 100% confirmed. Since there is unfortunately no restaurant in the southeast in the area from the Britta Arena to the Südfriedhof and down to Hasengartenstrasse, we ended up in the "Hütte" on Frankfurter Str. for the first time yesterday within walking distance and spent a lovely evening. We were served by a very friendly waitress who served us tasty food (rollos and chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, fried potatoes and salad). The variety of dishes can be viewed online. What many places now lack is that here you can sit at a table with a larger group. Ideal for dinner after a business meeting. But you should definitely make a reservation in advance, as the hut was full to capacity yesterday. There was a group of 16 people at our next table who all received their food at the same time. The service is on point. As already mentioned at the beginning, nice staff (special thanks to the Meenzerin) rounds off the whole thing. Conclusion, we will be back, whether for private or business reasons. It has already been reserved for business purposes next week.

The starters (antipasti, tzatziki) were very tasty, as was the house pasta. The schnitzel (pork, chicken) and the chicken burger were just ok. You could have gotten something similar in any canteen. The service was too loud and stroppy for our taste. Special requests were accepted but not implemented in 2 out of 3 cases. We were hoping for more after the positive reviews here...

My pizza was great. Okay, but nothing earth-shattering either; but it may not be their signature dish either. What really bothered me was the service, which really ruined the ambience (for me that evening). The waitress either ran around cursing or gossiped non-stop at the bar about the guests, the world, the store she works in and its organization, and much more. I then had to wait 30 minutes before I was allowed to pay. With map. She also found it annoying to have to get the device. And “that you then get fewer tips again.” So everything was okay, but I won't go there again now.

Food was super tasty and ready quickly. Prices were well chosen.
