Great location in Erfurt! We were there yesterday and everything was perfect. The atmosphere is really lovely and you immediately feel at ease. The food was delicious – exactly what you want for a relaxing evening. We had a lot of fun and, I admit, quite a lot of beer. 😄 The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. All in all: highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

We came on the recommendation of a friend… Unfortunately, it wasn't really to my taste… Very, very loud… a football match was on at the time… My currywurst is different, and at almost €15, it wasn't exactly a bargain… Great location directly opposite Erfurt Central Station… The staff was very friendly… We had to go downstairs to the cash register to pay…

Luckily, we booked in advance, otherwise we certainly wouldn't have gotten a table. There was a very long wait because of the football match. It was also relatively expensive. And personally, I think children are out of place there, especially when they're entertaining the whole place. But it's highly recommended for football fans.

Fantastic atmosphere, tastefully decorated – especially for those interested in politics. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The food is also delicious. The convenient location, not far from the main train station, is a definite plus for travelers. I'd come back anytime!

We love the staff; it's worth spending a penny more on beer. In the summer, you can enjoy a perfect view of various Hollywood films playing in front of the main train station. The main genre is crime, but dramas are often played in incomprehensible, usually loud, alcohol-soaked language. A small circus troupe regularly performs on Monday evenings, although this does bring with it an unpleasant amount of noise. The cocktails are highly recommended, and the chicken nuggets are an insider tip.

We wanted to have a drink to round off a lovely evening. It was quite full, but there was still one table free. Since there were eight of us, it was a bit crowded at the table, but that didn't bother us. One of the waitresses then very rudely pointed out to us that it was much too crowded for the other guests and that we should leave... ???????? We were sitting close together - not the other guests. But hey, we had a drink at our hotel. Must be going really well, sweet pub if you can afford it x 8! To be able to throw people who want to drink out so rudely! We won't go there again, even if it's the last pub in Erfurt! Terrible!! One star is still too many!!!

We've been here twice. The food was really good. But the waitress, the one with short blonde hair, was very unfriendly. She simply took our order and walked away. We'll be back, but only for food.

The food was absolutely fantastic. I've never eaten such a beautifully presented currywurst 😉 The diesel was also very well mixed. I just didn't really like the cocktail (Willy B). The service was really nice, but not particularly friendly (which is why I didn't tip). I usually tip at least €5 (over the usual 20%).

This was our second time eating there and we were very satisfied both times. The burgers, Thuringian bratwurst with dumplings, and the daily special (fitness salad with fried potatoes and a fried egg) were all very tasty and well-seasoned. Friendly service and a truly beautiful, tasteful interior. Plus, it's a historic place with pictures of one of the few German politicians who had any stature compared to today's political figures. We'll be back.

The food is rather substandard! The taste is more like confinement. The music keeps cutting out. Right next to Erfurt Central Station. You can stop by before you starve. You won't see me there again.

I'm a regular guest at the Willy Brandt House, as I often stay in Erfurt for work. My stays have always been pleasant and of a consistently high standard. I'd particularly like to highlight the cuisine: The food is consistently very good, freshly prepared, and varied. There's nothing to complain about in terms of both taste and presentation – you can tell the passion that goes into the work here. The service department also has no complaints. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. Special mention goes to Melanie, who always makes a positive impression with her charm and remarkable service skills. She contributes significantly to the pleasant atmosphere and knows how to cater to each guest individually. Overall, I always feel welcome and well looked after at the Willy Brandt House. I'd be happy to return.

I had the American breakfast this morning. I haven't been here in many years. Within 3 minutes, I had my cocoa with cream, which was absolutely delicious. Another 5 minutes later, I had my breakfast!!! It was also very good, and I could barely finish it. Good value for money :) Very friendly staff 👍🏼

To bridge a train journey, the ambience and service is mega! I don't know what to think of the seasoned meat yet, €9.20 for a mega small pot, the price-performance ratio doesn't really fit! Otherwise everything was great :).

We ordered our table by email a week in advance. This worked wonderfully and the reservation was confirmed by email. Super. We had a table up on the gallery. Over the course of the evening, all of the seats (approx. 50) on the gallery were occupied. There was really a lot to do for the waitresses. All the guests asked for something to drink and eat, and the food had to be carried up from the ground floor to the gallery. What a hassle. We had a very professional waitress named Resi all evening. Even though every seat was occupied, we received professional, unobtrusive attention. The time between ordering and delivery of the product was reasonable. We also ate in the restaurant. There is a very varied menu where everyone will find something they like. The menus we ordered tasted good and were sufficient. Dear Resi, we enjoyed being your guests and will definitely come back soon.

We went to Willy B for lunch yesterday. Luckily we got a seat in the lower area - unfortunately the upper area was closed, although you could probably have sat there a little more quietly and comfortably. It was quite restless down below, which put a bit of a damper on the atmosphere. The decor is interesting and is more reminiscent of a bar than a restaurant - not in a negative way. The welcome was friendly: the waitress with long black hair welcomed us warmly and gave us a free choice of seats - that was a positive start. Shortly afterwards another waitress (shorter blonde hair) came who seemed quite brisk and snippy. Unfortunately, this was confirmed when ordering and paying. Her manner was rather unpleasant - you didn't feel entirely welcome. The gestures and facial expressions weren't really inviting either. To eat: My wife had the sausage goulash – the taste was okay, not a revelation, but solid. I had the Willi B. Chillie Cheeseburger. Unfortunately, it didn't entirely convince me. The patty seemed very cheap (frozen patty?). The taste of the burger was very sweet with a fair amount of spiciness - not a successful combination for me. The fries, on the other hand, were really good! Steakhouse fries, crispy, tasty, with a good selection of dips. Overall it was an okay lunch. Some plus points, but also things that could be done better - especially in the service and the quality of the burger.

After our first terrible experience I said we would never come back, after a long time we decided to give it a second chance... and experienced the same shit twice. 🤮 So that was for us. It's a real shame but such "service" ruins the whole evening and the mood!! The "ladies" just stand around and let the guests sit and wait forever, with zero interest... 😡🤮🤯🤦‍♀️ that really can't be right...

Good food after a long day's train travel from Baden-Baden. The service was fantastic, provided by friendly staff who were fluent in English.

The service was unfriendly. I noticed the bill was wrong after I paid, as I ordered only one beer but there were two on the bill. When I told the staff it seems she wasn’t surprised at all nor feel bad for me. Feeling the staff was trying to rip me off even tho I tipped her for the not so friendly service. Won’t recommend this place.

Starter good - price/performance is good and upscale. Main course was very tasty. Highly recommend pasta with shrimps. Good selection of drinks and very good recommendations from the staff. Very good restaurant for which you can spend a few euros more.

There is more. The ambience outside is not very inviting. Just the station forecourt. The tables and chairs were dirty. Hardly any seat cushions present and if so, then also dirty. There was bird droppings on all the chair backs. The quality of the coffee drinks was not convincing. The latte came in a small, low glass. The cola tasted stale and was served with a lot of ice. The service was ok. You didn't have to wait long.

I hate reviews that start with "I". In short: as a notorious complainer, there is no reason for me not to go here. The staff is super friendly, attentive, but completely unobtrusive. The glasses and dishes are sparkling clean. The atmosphere is a really successful mix of cool and cozy. I drank Köstritzer from the tap, which was as good as expected. I ate the goulash with dumplings and extra red cabbage - and I really enjoyed it. This was a trip to a time when food was given the time it needed, in a portion size that was really filling and of a quality that I would describe as "grandma-worthy". The red cabbage was firm to the bite, well seasoned without the sometimes extreme spices from the convenience store, the goulash was beautifully braised, the meat was tender without being completely dry, the sauce was pleasantly creamy and not gelatinous... And the attention to detail was noticeable in that even the tomatoes in the decoration were braised. In addition, it should be said that Willy B. has an impressive drinks menu with something for everyone. Since I'm only in Erfurt for work, it was the first time and, unfortunately, probably the last time that I was here for a long time, but I hope that I'll end up here again. Big praise to the whole team!

Hier wird man an einem bestimmten Tisch platziert, obwohl das Lokal leer war. Allgemein ließ die Freundli hkeit des Personals zu wünschen übrig, so dass ich mich nicht besonders willkommen fühlte. Das Essen war so lala. Sehr ansprechend angerichtet, geschmacklich jedoch nur durchschnittlich. Dieses wird auf keinen Fall mein Restaurant.

Disappointing - deceiving guests I visited the Willy B. restaurant in Erfurt because of the positive reviews and the promising menu. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I was literally ripped off during the billing process. Even though the website clearly stated that the prices were significantly lower, at the end of the evening I was charged higher amounts. This is not only inappropriate, but also a clear deception of the guests. As a guest, I expect the prices to be transparent and fair - unfortunately that was not the case here at all. It is incomprehensible why they rely on such unfair practices instead of providing guests with an honest and pleasant experience. Unfortunately for me this was a one-off visit and I will avoid this restaurant in the future. I can only advise everyone to find out about the prices in advance and to pay close attention when billing. It's a shame that the service left us sitting next to the disabled toilet for over a quarter of an hour without a menu, so unfortunately I had to look at the menu on the website myself. Unfortunately, the food didn't blow me away either. *Conclusion:* Absolutely not recommended if you don't want to have unreasonable surprises with the bill.

We eat here often and have never been disappointed. From burgers to pasta, chicken with baked potatoes or even schnitzel... The aioli as a starter with bread is awesome 👍👍 the price is really great and the waitresses are also very friendly.

Service is probably the last thing. At first we were turned away because apparently there was nothing left available. But then a seat became available that we were allowed to take. However, no one served us and didn't even clear away the previous guests' dirty dishes. We left after 25 minutes and definitely won't be coming back

Wir waren als Familie spontan zur Mittagszeit an einem Samstag da. Einen Platz haben wir noch bekommen, obwohl es echt voll war. + die Karte ist umfangreich und bietet unterschiedliche Gerichte: Burger, Steak, Salate, Pasta + geschmacklich war alles ganz gut ohne absolute Spitze zu sein - Ambiente ist okay, aber schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen Preis- Leistungsverhältnis okay. Insgesamt eher für Barcharakter als speziell zum Essen vorbeigehen.

Willy B is more of a bar than a restaurant. There is a small menu and the food is made with love and is delicious too. My impression was very positive.

Ordered two beers. Waitress doesn't ask if it's small or not. Only brings big ones. The waitress was very unfriendly. My colleague didn't finish his portion and wanted to take the rest with him. Waitress brings the package to the table to pack up herself. In other restaurants, the plate is taken into the kitchen and the food is then put in. Food was edible. No fresh onions!!!! Definitely not a repeat for us!!!

When Sebastian is at the bar, the cocktails taste best of all. Except Marie is there. Then she is number one. A bar that is always recommended.
