A charming, cozy atmosphere with an alternative vibe and friendly service. They stay open late during the week. It would be nice if the cheese platter could also be ordered with wine later in the evening.

After waiting an hour for the food, I was extremely disappointed. I ate the cheeseburger and couldn't decide which was drier: the patty or the bun. I haven't had such bad food in a long time. I ordered three beers and the server only brought two; I waited another 15 minutes for the third. One star for the fries; they were good.

There were five of us there and we wanted to start the evening comfortably. It didn't look like it was overcrowded to me. Initially, we were told the food would take a bit longer. However, I find it a bit harsh that we had to wait 45 minutes for nachos, cheese cubes, and a few olives. The burgers arrived after what felt like an eternity. Unfortunately, the wait wasn't worth it...dry buns, dry patty, pretty tasteless and unloved. The fries were at least okay, so they get at least one star from me. The service staff were visibly overwhelmed and quite unmotivated...it really shouldn't be a problem to bring five drinks to one table without having to walk twice.....All in all, there's plenty of room for improvement.

Visually, the place looks quite good, especially the outdoor area is lovely in the evening. Unfortunately, we waited a really long time for drinks, even though we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. When they finally arrived, they weren't bad, but nothing special either. We left the bar for more drinks.

Always worth a visit, the food is delicious and the service is quick and remembers the drinks you had last time on your next visit.

Unfortunately, I really can't say much positive. The service was friendly, but the dishes arrived very staggered (the first dish arrived more than 15 minutes before the last). The explanation was that something had been done wrong with one of the burgers, but they didn't offer anything more than a "sorry." I don't think the restaurant is particularly stylishly decorated and is a bit dirty. For example, there's dirt on the windowsills. The Nerly burger was truly abysmal, while the garlic fries were quite tasty. Overall, a truly disappointing experience; I wouldn't go back. The value for money is also very poor; €15 for a single burger of this quality is practically outrageous.

I celebrated my birthday with friends at Café Nerly – and it couldn't have been better! 🎂✨ The atmosphere is unique: cozy, stylish, and lively at the same time. The team was incredibly attentive and friendly, and we felt welcome from the very beginning. The food and drinks were fantastic – fresh, creative, and lovingly served. It was especially nice that we had enough space to laugh together, enjoy ourselves, and let the evening end in peace. A place with soul, which inspires not only with its cuisine, but also with its people. For me, Nerly is a definite recommendation and my new favorite place in Erfurt!

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance while looking for something inexpensive and edible for a vegetarian. The service was greeted by young, friendly people. As we hesitantly looked into the backyard, a young man approached us and asked if he could help us. We're not used to such openness and friendliness in a tourist hotspot (or anywhere near it), so we were surprised. The menu offers a decent selection for vegetarians. At normal to reasonable restaurant prices, the highlight for us was the dips and sauces, which you can really tell are homemade. The halloumi burger came with French fries with homemade garlic and dill sauce for €3.50, all very tasty. Homemade lemonades and a good selection of beers were also available. All this in a pleasant atmosphere in the backyard, along with friendly service, and we would definitely recommend this as an insider tip to anyone traveling to Erfurt and looking for a delicious meal in the city center. At the end of the menu, students and trainees were offered a selection of discounts upon presentation of appropriate proof. While that's no longer an option for us mid-forties, it seemed very harmonious and appealing, along with the rest of the love and commitment evident in so many little details. For that reason, and for the great effort put into numerous little details, we give it full marks.

Hello everyone, You can have a good time there. Drinks, yes, food, OK. You have to plan for a wait... Unfortunately, you don't get a notification beforehand if something is sold out, only when you order. That's okay. The service is great and attentive, praise for that. The meal options were OK. As was the vegetarian section. Info Even I, as a meat eater, had something vegetarian and it was OK. If you want a drink, the ambiance is perfect. But it's not enough to warrant going back for dinner. For example, the fries were left in the grease for too long, and the tarte flambée wasn't convincing for me; I've had better ones. Try it, maybe you're having a bad day. Recommendation, currently mediocre. Best, Tobias.

A wonderful place to unwind, enjoy a leisurely meal, and chat. There's a wide selection of delicious food at fair prices. The young men and women who work there are always super friendly. On our second evening, for example, Letizia served us. She was very accommodating, friendly, and personable. We'd love to come back from Bautzen to Erfurt to this great bar.

Anyone looking for something a little different from the usual beer garden should check this place out. Not only are the staff very friendly and customer-oriented, but it's also a charming, unpretentious bar. The bar, with its rustic style and cheerful and friendly bartenders, is a highlight. You receive excellent service, advice on questions, and even the opportunity to have a chat without neglecting the other guests. It was also very nice that they recognized you the next evening and even remembered your order; I respect that. The menu is highly praised; from a changing selection to vegetarian alternatives and snacks (I recommend olives and a beer), everything is prepared and presented with excellent quality and style. Kudos to everyone who works there. I discovered it on vacation last year and have been back, and it remains an institution.

Whenever I pass by, it's clear that the first drink will be a strawberry. The homemade lemonades are a hit, and the special trio of creations offered every two weeks are always worth trying. The charm of the location, combined with the friendliness of the staff, always invites you to linger—both inside on the armchairs and couches and, in the summer, outside in the leafy courtyard. And if you get bored, you can borrow one of the numerous games! Keep it up! :)

Amazing place. Very spacious and perfekt for group of friends, the waiters were very friendly, the food was also very nice.

With moderate occupancy in the beer garden, we waited far too long for orders, drinks and food. The burger we ordered was still partially raw on the inside and the side dish was carelessly thrown on top. There was no one to complain about for the next 5 minutes. Ticked off as experience, not again. Actually nice courtyard, but far too unkempt and dirty.

Family oriented calm place, had a good time with friends. Smoking area was right outside of the cafe.

The Nerly is always worth a visit. The food is very good and the selection is sufficient so that what is offered can be cooked fresh. There is a smoking room, which is only self-service, and you have to pay immediately when you sit down here. Otherwise, the staff always tries hard, although some of them are “just” student temporary workers. So go away dignified and just take some time with you :)

This place has nothing to do with professional restaurant business. A tragedy in several acts: 1. It wasn't until about 10 minutes after we sat down that the waitress, who was in a bad mood, came to take drinks. 2. After an incredible 18 more minutes (for 1 bottle of beer and 1 chocolate), the drinks were served and the food was consumed. 3. After another 12 minutes we were informed that our order (2 cheeseburgers) and half of the menu were no longer available and that we would have to change our selection. Due to the remaining amount, this was done quickly. 4. After another 1:20 hours, we were told after several questions that the two dishes would take at least another 20 minutes to prepare. At this point the restaurant was already half empty. In the meantime it was only possible with great effort to order at least one more drink. In the end we canceled because the employee had no insight or suggestions for compensation.

Burgers are good and lots of them. Service leaves a lot to be desired. Some things are forgotten. Unfortunately, the food comes very differently for larger groups. A long waiting time must be expected.

Unfortunately, the store and its concept didn't appeal to me. We were there in a larger group to eat and end the day. Unfortunately everything took a lot of time. We waited just as long for drinks as for something to eat. I recently learned that when choosing an appetizer, you also have to say that you want it first. If you miss this, you will wait a long time and then get everything at once. Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed by the quality of the food. It was fine. The service was friendly, the prices are small. Conclusion: Bring time, say exactly what you want and how you want it and otherwise have little expectation, then there will be little surprise.

We were traveling as a group to try out something new. We definitely had time for that because we had a table at 6:30 p.m. and the food arrived around 9 p.m. We were told at the beginning that it might take “a little” longer because there was a cook missing. That can happen, but I still think that two hours of waiting time for currywurst and tarte flambée is too much. If the food had been a highlight, it would have been understandable, but unfortunately it wasn't. I'm not saying it wasn't tasty, it just wasn't worth the two hour wait. In retrospect, perhaps you should have looked at a few reviews beforehand to see that it doesn't seem to be unusual to have to wait a little longer for your food. Regarding the service: everyone was friendly, but not quite as attentive as you would find in other restaurants. We then had dessert in a fast food restaurant to make up for lost time without having to miss out on a two-course meal.

First the positive: At first glance, the restaurant scores with its attractive furnishings and ambience. The menu also arouses anticipation - an appealing selection that at first glance makes you want more. Unfortunately, the praise ends here. Our visit was a real test of patience: we had to wait over two hours for our food. The service was rather slow and sometimes not attentive. If the drinks were empty, the waiters didn't notice this and ordering more was sometimes difficult because the waiters passed you by but rarely stopped at the table. And when our food finally arrived, the disappointment was complete: the currywurst was - let's put it this way - a taste disaster. The sauce tasted as if all the curry powder in the world had been thrown into a pot in the kitchen to create a particularly "authentic" taste. The side salad was okay, as were the fries. However, that is not enough. We probably won't come again.

Nerly is one of the most beautiful places to go in Erfurt. In the summer you can enjoy the outside garden having a refreshing local beer or when it's cold get inside of the well designed indoors of Nerly and have some tasty burgers for a change. Definitely recommended to visit with your friends.

Essen war sehr gut, preislich ok. Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Leider mussten wir aber fast 1h auf unser bestelltes Essen warten.

A wonderful restaurant where you can eat well. Café Nerly impresses with its atmosphere and delicious food. The price/performance ratio is great and the service is great. All in all, you feel in good hands here.

I've only had good experiences here so far. Very nice, friendly, open-minded, helpful staff. The rooms are also convincing.

Eat . Service. Ambience everything is great except the 2 owners who steal the recipes. Can you step in the bin? So ( )kick you in the knee. you two.

At first pleased with the uncomplicated atmosphere, we received drinks quickly, but then we didn't receive any food for more than 60 minutes. It does happen, but the highly unprofessional way the staff handles it is not acceptable. So don't appear hungry... the kitchen seems to be overwhelmed... The young helper was able to easily communicate that it would take time: we ordered a vegetarian lentil dish - it's actually already ready and being heated up... and the currywurst with fries It's actually not magic... it's a shame that even after 30 minutes of communication - maybe with some bread to tide you over - it takes a while. Any untrained employee can do that...

We celebrated our birthday party at Nerly and it was just great. The buffet was really tasty and was very well received by our guests. The staff was extremely friendly and relaxed but quick. We are very happy with our choice and would celebrate at Nerly again and again.

Very interesting concept and very interesting features. Currywurst Pommer were good and beer (Schlunz and Bayreuther) on tap tasted good. The service was friendly but could have been at the table more often and was so difficult to reach. You would have had one or two drinks. We found the wait to eat there to be long.

I had an excellent vegetarian burger with Camembert, which was really delicious. 😋 The staff were consistently friendly, and the presence of a craftsman from the traveling trade created a unique flair that evening. Unfortunately, the atmosphere suffered from increasing noise over time. That wasn't so great. 😬

Unmöglicher Laden. 20 Min. gewartet bis die Bedienung die Bestellung aufgenommen hat. Als eine halbe Std. später die Getränke endlich kamen, waren 3 von 9 Getränke falsch. Zum Schluss wird noch gemeckert, weil jeder extra bezahlte. Einmal und nie wieder.

Weder das Essen noch der Service haben mich überzeugt. Teure Preise für mittelmäßiges Essen. Wenn man den Rest mitnehmen will, wird man unnötig angemacht.

Nach einem entspannten Abend auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt, wollten wir, im Cafe Nerly noch ein Bier trinken! Leider wurden wir ohne Grund abgewiesen! Der Barkeeper (angeblich Chef) hat uns, nachdem wir an der Bar bestellt hatten, aufgefordert, die Einrichtung zu verlassen! Argumente hatte er dafür nicht! Daher nicht zu empfehlen!

Da wir nur dort waren um etwas zu trinken, können wir das essen nicht bewerten. Sehr schönes und gemütliches Restaurant, in einer lockeren Atmosphäre, mit einem guten Bier. Die Bedienung war Fix und aufmerksam. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Erfurt, werden wir das Essen ausprobieren.

Wir haben nicht im Restaurant gesessen, sondern draußen im gemütlichen "Bier- bzw. Wintergarten" nur einen Glühwein getrunken, aber in jedem Fall ist das "Nerly" immer eine gute Adresse. Mitten in der Stadt, trotzdem abseits von den gerade jetzt zur Adventszeit überfüllten Straßen und Gassen.

Super gemütliche Atmosphäre, Getränke sehr lecker, Sonderwünsche werden - wenn möglich - erfüllt, freundliche Bedienung und saubere Toiletten. Pommes Deluxe sehr lecker!

Sehr langsamer Service, über 45 min auf Getränke gewartet und Pommes waren schon kalt bis der Dip kam… katastrophal!

Das versteckte Lokal, zufällig auf der Suche nach einem Glas Wein gefunden, befindet sich in einer ehemaligen Schule. Der Gastraum scheint sich in der alten Mehrzweck Halle zu befinden. Wir haben uns zum Rotwein (primitivo) die Knoblauch Bombe und Käse Würfel bestellt. Wie auf den Bildern zu erkennen, optisch und geschmacklich ein Genuss. Angenehmes Puplikum jeden Alters und Typs. Da sehr gut besucht auch unter der Woche, sollte man etwas Geduld mitbringen.

Akustik im Essbereich recht laut. Bedienung etwas chaotisch aber sehr freundlich. Die Burger waren lecker nur zu dickes Patty. Eher wie ein Klops.

Wir kamen als kleine Gruppe (7) ohne Reservierung am Abend vorbei und bekamen im Außenbereich trotz regen Betriebes noch gut Platz. Der Service war sehr freundlich, rasch und zuverlässig; das Getränkeangebot sehr vielfältig, einschließlich lokaler Angebote wie das Erfurter Schluntz. Das Ambiente im Außenbereich war sehr locker (teilweise Palettentische) und gemütlich.

Waren hier zu einer Familienfeier, anfänglich lief alles etwas holprig an , mit wenig Personal, im Laufe des Nachmittags/Abend wurde es besser, das Abendessen war super lecker, insgesamt alles sehr retro, aber wer das mag, voll i.o., schön war es für die Kinder, die konnten toben und im Sand spielen, auch die Erwachsenen konnten drinnen oder draußen sitzen, ein schönes Plätzchen um den Großstadt Getümmel zu entrinnen

Leider sehr lange Wartezeiten und das Essen war leider verbrannt... trotzdem sehr schönes Ambiente.

Super entspannte, legere Atmosphäre, eine große Auswahl hausgemachter Limonaden. Kann die Gurken Limo sehr empfehlen. Wenn du Studi bist erhälst du sogar Rabatt. Und das Highlight während des Aufenthalts stehen einem verschiedenste Brett- und Kartenspiele zu Verfügung. Super Ort für gesellige Runden.

Sehr schönes, eher rustikales Restaurant mit "Künstler-/Studententouch". Freundliche Bedienung, seeeeehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Mein Geheimtipp in Erfurt.

Die Knobibombe, in Knoblauchöl geröstetes Bruschetta mit Aioli auf Salatbett ist soo lecker und der vegane Flammkuchen hat dem Ganzen die Krone aufgesetzt. Das ist rustikal, individuell und gemütlich. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Absolute Empfehlung.

Eine fabelhafte Atmosphäre. Die Bedienung jedesmal sehr freundlich und die Bestellung geht oft recht schnell. Ein gemütliches sitzen und Snaks verzehren und verschiedene Getränke werden angeboten. Das Essen schmeckt auch sehr sehr gut.

Trotz des schönen Ambiente, muss ich hier leider einen Stern verteilen. Das schönste Ambiente bringt nichts, wenn man selbst beim einfachsten Getränk 30 Minuten warten muss. Leider ist dies wohl nicht das erste mal hier passiert, darum gibt es nur einen Stern.

Wir hatten gestern Abend bei euch unsere Geburtstagsparty von dem Malteser Hilfsdienst . Man kann euch echt nur weiterempfehlen . Die Salate sind sehr lecker gewesen , Nudelsalat , Blattsalat usw . Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder .

Sehr nette Lokation mit Aussenplätzen im Hinterhof. Zwar nahe an einer Hauptstraße (zw. Fischmarkt und Domplatz) gelegen, der Hinterhof liegt aber ruhig und ist schön gestaltet. Übersichtliche Speisekarte, faire Preise.

Mal was anderes als ein von Touristen überlaufener Biergarten

Das Café ist im Hinterhof der Seitengasse zur Marktstraße zu finden, besitzt aber zum Glück ein sehr gut sichtbaren Schriftzug über dem Eingang. Es hat einen angenehm großen Außenbereich für laue, chillige Sommerabende um zeitvergessen über die großen Themen der Zeit zu philosophieren - und dazu das entsprechende notwendige Getränkeangebot über Wasser, Schorle, Wein bis hin zu Gin (pun intended). Für kältere Tage bietet das Cafe einen geräumigen, nicht überfrachteten Innenbereich an der ebenso entspannt ausgerichtet ist. Das Sepisenangebot ist übersichtlich - was der Atmosphäre keinen Abbruch tut, da es eben kein Restaurant ist und damit diesem Anspruch auch nicht gerecht werden muss. Wer sich in einer alternativ orientierten akademischen Umgebung wiederfinden möchte, ist hier am richtigen Ort.

Hier fühlt man sich als Gast wohl. Sehr empfehlenswert 😃

Ein wunderbarer Ort in und für Erfurt

Ab 19 Uhr dauern die Getränke leider fast immer 1 Stunde. Dazu sind dann 1/3 der Bestellungen mittlerweile in der Regel falsch. Sehr schade, da wir gerne kamen wegen Dem netten Ambiente und dem Halloumi-Burger. Bitte dringend daran arbeiten!

Wow, was für ein toller Abend im Nerly! Aufgrund der Tripadvisor-Bewertungen und -Beschreibungen entschieden wir uns für diesen genialen Kulturladen, der Konzerte, Biergarten und Restaurant vereint. Zwar nicht einfach zu finden, da die Terrasse erst Ende April öffnete, haben wir uns drinnen sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch das aufgestellte und freundliche Personal hat enorm dazu beigetragen. Wir sassen im Raum mit der Bar, der mit den Holzbalken und -möbeln sowie den vielen Pflanzen seinen eigenen Charme hat. Sowohl das Bier als auch die Burger haben uns sehr geschmeckt. Das Nerly können wir wärmstens empfehlen und finden es sehr schade, dass wir so weit davon entfernt wohnen. :-)

Ich bin durch Zufall im Nerly gelandet. Das Ambiente verspricht bodenständiges Standard Essen. Bodenständig, vielleicht, aber Standard? Geschmacklich weit gefehlt! Die Burger waren nicht durchgegrillt, noch schön rosa. Echt lecker, sowie auch der Halloumi Burger. Die Knoblauch Pommes waren echt klasse und auch der Flammkuchen konnte sich sehen lassen. Dazu noch ein Bier. Was möchte man mehr? Habe meinen Besuch nicht bereut und komme gerne wieder 👍

Das Nerly ist ein Laden, den ich schon seit Jahren gerne besuche. In der Stadt Erfurt hat es so etwas wie einen Kultstatus unter Kulturschaffenden und Studenten. Das Nerly hat nicht nur einen gemütlichen Gastraum und einen großen Saal für Veranstaltungen, sondern auch einen sehr gut gelegenen Biergarten. Überall wird man vom aufmerksamen Team bedient. Die Karte ist stets in eine feste Karte und eine wechselnde Wochenkarte mit saisonalen Spezialitäten geteilt. Großer Fokus wird auf frische und gesunde Küche gelegt. Veganer kommen voll auf ihre Kosten.
