Lots and lots of very good food. I will definitely visit again.

The pizza is okay. The goulash soup is cheaper at Albrecht's Delikatessen. Next door is the associated smoking bar, useful for those who need it.

The three of us spontaneously went to Willis Pfannenstüble one evening and, despite it being very busy, we still managed to get a seat. The service is really excellent, and the seating is very comfortable in a lovely atmosphere. The portions are very generous and still very tasty. The pan dishes are highly recommended, and no one will go home hungry. The value for money is truly excellent. This was truly one of the best restaurant visits I've ever had.

How can I rate granny’s kitchen? We’ve arrived there after 21:00 and yet we were welcomed by pizza and salad, although kitchen was closed. Beer was nice, the lady (i really can’t call her a server) did more than enough to understand our German, and used most of her English and all other languages. The funniest was when other guests tried to assist with translation. Me and kids were acting feeling like invited to someone’s home to have late dinner Thank you for the pizza and apfelsaft

It was a real shame that the incredibly slow service ruined the evening (and it was a Tuesday outside of the school holiday season). The food was delicious. But we rarely managed to get the waiter's attention, even though there are only seven tables. It's fine for sitting and chatting, but not really suitable for dinner with hungry children. Waiting over half an hour before you can even order food is simply too long. And when the waiter is at the next table and you're ignored despite repeated hand signals and "sorry," that's not good service.

The ordering process and the drinks delivery took a relatively long time. However, there were only two waiters on duty, who had to cover the restaurant, beer garden, and pub. The food doesn't arrive in 10 minutes, but I think everything is freshly prepared. At least, it tasted that way. The portions are extremely large, so you should carefully consider your starter, although the soups were also very good. All in all, we would gladly visit the Pfannenstüble again.

We had to wait a long time for our food, but in the end the chef apologized and gave the children something to snack on. The portions were huge and tasted really, really good.

We've been waiting for our food for 1.5 hours now, despite having a reservation. Waiting this long is a disgrace. Now we're leaving with a crying child who's been hungry for 1.5 hours. I have no idea if the food is any good.

We spontaneously stopped by this restaurant late in the evening and were not disappointed. Beautifully pan-fried cheese spaetzle with a side salad. Pan-fried goulash soup, something we've never had before, was fantastic. Plus, the rustic ambiance. Very friendly service.

The food was fantastic. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our order. 30 minutes for drinks and over two hours for the food. So please allow plenty of time and don't go hungry.

I arrived almost at opening time, planning to have a drink and then eat after a long day of hiking. I was surprised when NO ONE spoke a word of English in the restaurant/pub... Not to mention the beer, which despite its lack of flavor was drinkable, waiting an hour to force the order to be taken and being served almost an hour later for a tasteless pizza!!! And then waiting for payment??!! They need to stop treating us like three-week-old rabbits and just say we don't want to serve foreigners in the restaurant; it'll be easier and avoid waiting three hours... I mean three hours!!! For a bland pizza and two drinkable beers! Avoid at all costs!!

This is the fourth time we've eaten there and we've never been disappointed. The food has always been delicious, and the service is very friendly.

Incredibly delicious, we come back every year. Everything is incredibly flavorful, and the plate is so full you really have to work hard to finish it all. Delicious! We can't believe how it's possible for this price. We spoke to the chef to compliment him. He told us that all the ingredients are fresh and he cuts everything when the receipt arrives—extra fresh! He does all the preparation and cooking, partly with his son, because it's a family business. It's quite special, because it's often so busy. You can really taste the love and effort that goes into it. Moreover, everyone, including the staff, is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!!

The worst shop and extremely unfriendly service!

The pizzas were very good, but the service and atmosphere were terrible. We had to wait an hour and a half for our pizzas. Also, since we were tourists, they showed no interest in serving us. It's a shame that they offered us this service, given the quality of the product they have.

We had to wait a good hour for the food, but it was more than worth it. The food was plentiful and incredibly delicious, and truly amazing value for money.

We had a fantastic meal with our children, excellent value for money. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on our last evening of vacation, otherwise we would definitely have gone more often. The steak is definitely recommended!

We wanted to end a lovely day with a great meal, but unfortunately, this wasn't the case. We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and had to sit inside, where we waited about 30-45 minutes until someone managed to bring us the menu. Another 10 minutes later, our drink order was taken. They arrived quickly, but after we placed our food order, we had to wait about 1 1/2 to 2 hours for our food. In the meantime, we had lost our appetite because we ignored our hunger. Then the food arrived, and it was double portions, and we didn't like it. After such a long wait, you expect a meal worth the wait, but it wasn't, which is why almost all the portions were left half-eaten. If you want a good meal, don't go to Willis Pfannenstüble, especially since the name conjures up something other than a bad Italian restaurant. In short, not recommended at all.

Waited 30 minutes just to get a waiter to notice us, another 40 minutes for the food to arrive, the salad was drenched with sauce, the "carbonara" tasted like an old, supermarket ready meal that was put in the microwave, then tossed in the fridge, then a few days passed and then before they served it to me they put it back in the microwave. They use canned tomato sauce for their tortellini Napoli and canned mushrooms for their chanpignon soup. At least 3 other tables sat in, waited around 20 minutes without being attended to, then left because they got tired of waiting.

After waiting an hour and three-quarters for our Jägerschnitzel with fries and being served in an unfriendly manner, we were glad to leave the restaurant.

The food, from salads to drinks, is delicious and delivered quickly. There are only minor complaints, like dirty tables.

This restaurant is a must for anyone vacationing in the area. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious, and the portions are generous, all at very reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back. The extensive menu offers something for everyone.

Daniel is such a polite and accommodating person. I've rarely eaten such good truffle pasta as I did there. You can enjoy a relaxing nightcap in the pub next door. A truly wonderful atmosphere, just perfect for a relaxing stay. If you're in Todtnau or the surrounding area, be sure to stop by.

We had a wonderful dinner here at Willis Pub! We ordered the giant prawns with my daughter, and my husband went for the Jägerpfanne. The food was excellent, portions were very generous, and the service was super friendly. They go above and beyond... it's a clear recommendation.

The Stüble is rustic and cozy. It is divided into a smoking area and a non-smoking area, but unfortunately you can still smell the smoke. The employees are all super friendly. The price-performance ratio of the food was great. I ordered a schnitzel. That was a decent portion. The only thing that surprised me was that it wasn't a schnitzel at all. It was a pork steak. Neither breaded nor flattened. But it still tasted good.

The food tastes great, the portions are huge and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The only small negative point is that smoke from the pub also drifts into the restaurant.

We went there because of the good reviews. Unfortunately we cannot understand this. We both had a pan with pork. The meat was dry and it became more and more in your mouth. The fries were far too light and were in the tasteless sauce so that they were no longer edible after a few minutes. The salad is loveless. Once and never again

It was already late, something had to satisfy our hunger. After unsuccessful calls to the restaurants that were on our way, we simply jumped out where there was still light and people could be seen through the windows. And there was something else going on here. A good sign? We simply took a seat at another guest's table in the small room and were served an absolutely amazing pizza by the extremely nice boss. We ate here a few weeks ago and were surprised at how freshly everything was prepared. It takes a little longer after ordering, but the food is worth the extra wait. Very, very tasty and in a beautiful, old atmosphere. The service is also very good, friendly and accommodating. The only thing I have to complain about: the seat cushions are old and dusty, as an allergy sufferer it's really tiring, luckily I had a tablet with me, but it only had a mediocre effect. If you react really badly to dust, you might want to think about it or stock up on enough tablets. It was okay for one visit, but I personally wouldn't have been able to eat there more often. The upholstery should be properly vacuumed and cleaned, then the problem would be solved. Nonetheless, 5/5 stars.

We were there yesterday. The waitress was a bit unfriendly, but we didn't care that much at that moment, we just wanted to eat. The food was very tasty and the portions are really big 👍 The only thing I didn't understand, why did they put whipped cream on the tomatoes?? They don't go together at all, so unfortunately I couldn't eat them.

We came across the shop by chance. We were there in the early evening and were able to choose a spot, we took it right next to the tiled stove, it was super cozy with the warmth behind us. The food was delicious and the portion was huge. The price-performance ratio is top. It wasn't a problem to have leftovers packed up either.

We ate there today based on the good Google reviews and we weren't disappointed. The pan portions were huge and super tasty. The pizza was also super tasty and gigantic in size. The service was very friendly and super nice to the children. There was something to paint and gummy bears to say goodbye. We were very satisfied.

Super slow service. No good information about what you get to eat. There was no tomato on the menu with the dish, nor was there any allergen information, which is important to me because of my allergy to tomatoes... And what do I get on my plate? Tomatoes, all over my spaghetti. I might as well have been dead. Owner says; yes, but we cook like this. Yes, but if you cook like this you can also put it on the menu, it's not that difficult. She did have a new one made, but I only tasted garlic, no peppers. Never had such bad spaghetti Aglio e Olio before. And a worthless menu without honest information. My friend got his food about 15 minutes earlier, so we couldn't eat together. And just charge full price.

We got there today around 6:30 p.m. Outside, every table, but not every chair, was occupied. So we went in and asked for a table for two. The lady behind the counter looked uninviting and said there was nothing free outside; whereupon we also agreed to an inside seat. The lady looked sobering and then pointed to the tables in the adjacent room and we chose a table. When no one came after 10 minutes to bring us a menu and possibly ask us for drinks, we left. Apparently the restaurant was at capacity even though there were still at least 20 seats available. Couldn't they have simply said that they no longer had any free capacity? We found it unfriendly, unprofessional and cannot recommend it. You get the impression that you are not welcome. The furnishings looked cozy but also older.

Good reviews on Google, unfortunately not my experience. Took 60 minutes after ordering to get the food on table. Portions were good but the food was relatively bland. They forgot a dish also and that took 15 minutes extra while the rest was already eating. No apologies was made by waitress

We waited over an hour for food. They obviously forgot one of the dishes. (The waiter asked this person what they ordered and made a face, but didnt communicate anything about it). After 10 min we asked about the dish, and told them it was getting late for our kids they could just cancel if it was taking too long. Everyone from our group was already eating. She told us it was coming... Finally it arrived, no apologies no nothing. The food was kinda disappointing too after waiting this long... Would not come back, you can forget something but the decent thing is to do is communicate about it and apologize at least.

As holidaymakers, we came across the small pub. Service was very (children) friendly. The decor is rustic, but we didn't expect anything different from a pub. And we also felt comfortable in the rustic furnishings. We can highly recommend the pizza, the portions were very generous. We'll definitely be returning there next time we're on holiday in the region.

Small home-style restaurant. The pizzas are very large and so are the portions in general. We ordered schnitzel with fries and a portion came that would have been enough for two. They just have to put more effort into the salad. The pizzas are very large and very tasty. I highly recommend it. We'll probably go again tomorrow. However, you should make a reservation because it fills up quickly. Locals are the main guests which speaks for this restaurant.

The staff is super nice and friendly. I ate a mushroom cream schnitzel with fries. The schnitzel, the fries and the sauce tasted delicious, but unfortunately I missed the mushrooms. There were exactly 2 pieces on it. The mushrooms I missed were on the Jägerschnitzel I ordered.

We came in the door and asked the somewhat grumpy-looking woman behind the counter if there was still a table available for two. Yes, there should be two free tables back there (vague gesture). So we sat down and waited. The orders were taken at the next table and we thought: Now we'll get the menu. No, the cards that had been collected there were added to the stack and the waitress disappeared behind the counter. Then the next table got the drinks - but we were still ignored - and then we left the restaurant. Service is different.

Wir waren im Frühjahr einen Tag in Todtnau und haben bei Willis Pfannenstüble sehr lecker und absolut preiswert gegessen. Anschließend verbrachten wir noch einen super Abend in der Bar und spielten ein paar Runden Dart mit den Todtnauern.

Sehr netter Inhaber, leckere Gericht und große Portionen. Kommen regelmässig wieder, sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen ist ausgezeichnet man sagt nicht umsonst das es hier das beste Schnitzel der Umgebung gibt. Neben dem Restaurant gibt's auch ne kleine Bar sehr gemütlich gehalten mit 2 Dartautomaten. Ist ein Besuch wert wenn man von weiter weg kommt.
