Super delicious food and incredibly good cocktails. Could drink one at a time. Happy to come back!

We wanted to try out the bar, but the service was so unfriendly and when we went in they just said in annoyance: "No, not by a long shot. Go out for a smoke again." Although there was a large table free. We left and probably won't come back.

Everything wonderful, definitely worth the money.

We were there with a larger group and actually only had one time slot. Nevertheless, we were able to stay at our table longer. With a starter, main course and dessert and a good wine, we got through the evening well. The service was great and on point.

Relaxed atmosphere, great drinks and extravagant and coolly presented food. I would come again

A good restaurant, unfortunately a tiny bit too expensive for "cheap". Nevertheless, unconditional recommendation! Great location! Kitchen great! Service top! Cocktails are awesome! Our meals were really delicious across the board and were cleverly seasoned and prepared. Beer, Schumacher from the bottle, perfectly chilled and very refreshing. The desserts, of course calorie bombs, were so delicious that we would have liked to order another portion.😄 The good cocktail menu includes a large number of our own creations, but practically no standards. However, no one missed the really delicious or refreshing cocktails. The downsides are all at a very high level: the couch looks extremely comfortable, but it doesn't after a few hours. Our waiters were very young and perhaps not completely familiar with the menu, but they were super nice, super quick and super accommodating. We had to be a little more patient than expected when ordering the cocktail. In terms of price, the evening was okay, even if we had the impression that the starters could have been offered cheaper. That spoiled this review a little, but it hardly spoiled the evening. We can really only recommend the Williams and will definitely come back! Addendum: I was there again a year later and the very good impression was confirmed. There were two improvements: this time a different couch and even after four hours everything was fine. I can't say whether the seating area on the left on the wall is still uncomfortable after long use. BUT what has improved dramatically is the service! Yesterday (January 4, 2025) we really had the world's best cellar without any embarrassment, and even as we hurried past, we caught the desire for a new drink in the corner of our eye. Sensational! If you like to eat well and in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the perfect place for you!

We were together at Williams and wanted to enjoy a nice evening - unfortunately the waitress caused other unpleasant feelings. At first the choice of seats at the exit was unpleasant. The waitress was relatively quick with taking the orders, but when we hadn't made our choice yet, a really inappropriate comment came: "still not?!" As a guest you want to be treated differently. After dinner we wanted to order a few drinks. Unfortunately it didn't happen because we didn't pay attention for 15-20 minutes. Even when we stared, there was no response; in the end, another waitress came and everything worked fine and smoothly. The food was delicious. The price-performance ratio is “poor”. The portions are rather small for the price. I have been a guest several times and have to say that my experience was only miserable with one of the waiters/waitresses. All other employees are friendly and courteous.

We had very good service. The food was also really great. It was worth the price because quality can/must cost more than a fast food joint. Because it was a company event, we needed a specific form of invoice. That was absolutely no problem either. The invoice was even sent by email. Because of the Advent season, there were a few Christmas parties that evening, which of course increased the volume. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended!!

We visited this bar together, and it's definitely better to make a reservation in advance. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I really appreciated the creative and unique approach of the chef to his dishes—he definitely deserves special thanks for that. We tried four cocktails, including some non-alcoholic ones, and we enjoyed all of them. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time and enjoy tasty food and drinks.

Food great. For example the schnitzel or the pulpo. Service mixed and sometimes arrogant. Ambience itself is great. But seating is not everywhere. At the back you sit at tables but on a sofa. Everything is tight. Main criticism: you can smell the kitchen strongly. The clothes are embroidered after the visit. Unpleasant if you want to move on.

We went there for dinner with 6 people and loved it! Very attentive and friendly service, the meal was accompanied by very suitable wine recommendations! The taste of the food was very tasty and there was nothing to complain about. Everything was of very high quality and didn't feel like a weight in your stomach! The food at this restaurant was quite good, with starters (~20-25€) offering reasonable portions and decent flavor. However, the portions for the main dishes (~25-30€) were rather small, leaving us less than satisfied. The drinks were shockingly overpriced—10€ for a cocktail that was half ice cubes, and even tap water came at a premium. The service was hit or miss; some staff members seemed more interested in attending to other tables before ours, which gave off an unattentive vibe. The overall environment added to the disappointment—small, overcrowded, and uncomfortably loud. You’ll likely feel squeezed in with other diners, making it hard to relax and enjoy your meal. Overall, you would only go for the food, not for the ambience. But then you could go to a food court. Therefore not an experience I’d rush to repeat.

Großartiges Essen, hat sich gelohnt. Wir hatten Coq au von und die Kartoffel Spitzkohlrolle. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren auch nicht zu klein.

Ich habe mit meiner Mutter ihren Geburtstag im Wiliam‘s gefeiert. Bereits bei der Reservierung ist mir die extreme Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter aufgefallen. Weiterhin ist ihre Expertise bzgl. Cocktails und ihr streben dem Gast einen schönen Abend zu bereiten außerordentlich. Als wir uns nicht sicher waren, welches Getränk wir nehmen sollten, wurden wir mit äußerster Bemühung beraten und bekamen Getränke, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Sowohl Getränke, als auch Speisen sind besonders und sehr lecker. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

It was a good experience, a friend and I booked for bar service and dinner. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was very well prepared and tasty. The atmosphere in the room was very good and well decorated in my opinion! It will clearly be one to repeat and try other dishes on the menu. Thank you for the good experience. We're back, now with my husband. Once again, nothing was left to be desired, everything was very good, even divine! Super well prepared and quality food. The cocktails actually have alcohol (sometimes we order cocktails but you don't notice the alcohol, but these are delicious and with alcohol!☺️) I love it!! Searching for a place to hang out, we accidentally went here. The place is so cozy with mancave vibes and the drinks are super nice! We tried different cocktails and my favorite now is El chapo! Their drinks are on the expensive side but they are good! The servers are approachable and they'll make you comfortable as possible. Highly reccommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Essen war sehr lecker, insbesondere die vegetarischen Gerichte! Sehr netter und zuvorkommender Service, toller Barkeeper. Jederzeit wieder.

Ich war das erste Mal in Williams Bar & Kitchen und fand es Mega! Das Ambiente ist total schön und die Bedienung war perfekt! Super organisiert, sehr freundlich und hat ubs kompetent in Sachen Wein beraten. Besonders lecker fand ich den Aperitif „Botanic Garden“ (11,50€). Ich war mit einer Freundinndort und wir haben uns beide für das „Seafood Hip Hop“ (32,50€) entschieden, ebenfalls total lecker. Hier bin ich bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal gewesen…

Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Cocktails waren wirklich überragend gut und qualitativ sehr hochwertig.

That was a nice evening! Grilled octopus with spicy rhubarb and pickled cucumber, karaage with sesame mayonnaise, a kind of cassava caviar and papaya, as well as goat cheese in brik dough with blueberries, baby spinach and roasted buckwheat plus an extra side salad. Along with a few glasses of Blanc de Noirs Rose milk! Everything just makes you kneel down. Afterwards we have a veal schnitzel with special requests: thyme parmesan chips, saffron hollandaise and cranberry jam - molto buono!!! The whole thing was rounded off with a delicious espresso martini. In addition, the attentive service from Malo and Axel was absolutely fantastic and the recommendations were spot-on! Good style, relaxed atmosphere, and simply delicious - top tip!!!

Have visited several times, the quality of the food is always excellent, although not cheap, the service is top and the drinks are some of the best you can get in Düsseldorf.

Überraschende Location mit kleiner aber sehr interessanter gemischter Karte. Herausragend war der Service und das Essen auf hohen Niveau, sehr pfiffige Komponente. Im Bat Ambiente zu speisen, hat wirklich seinen Scharm. Ich empfand die Musik ein wenig zu laut, aber in Summe ein toller Abend. Danke an das Team vom Williams. Ich komme bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Nice restaurant, great service. On the expensive side which for a schnitzel is not needed. The truffle mash is delicious but having to every side with your main dish is ridiculous. Wasn't keen on the coating for the schnitzel. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. If it's schnitzel you are after much better places about and for a lot less than 30 + euros for this one with sides.

The location is very cool and invites you to linger. The food is also delicious, but my criticism would be that the prices are comparatively expensive.

I came to Düsseldorf for an event, explored the city the following day and ended up in this bar (the kitchen wasn't tested) with my travel companion in the evening to end the evening. Pleasant atmosphere, a very clean impression and, in my opinion, the really cool aprons that the employees wear left a positive first impression. The beer menu is a bit poor, but I don't see that as a negative because it's up to the team there to decide what is offered and what isn't. I don't ask for currywurst at an Italian restaurant. The other drinks and especially the signature cocktails are convincing, the employees are exemplary in all respects. I give a personal sixth star for the presentation of the invoice. Presented in a leather envelope, I was very impressed and other restaurateurs are welcome to copy this style. Thank you for the great evening.

Cocktail bar or restaurant - the Williams offers both. The food is really delicious and the cocktails are great! Unfortunately, the smell of food is very strong in the shop... the ventilation needs to be reworked.

Das Ambiente ist toll, gemütlich und elegant. Eine absolut spannende Karte, übersichtlich und trotzdem hat diese eine fantastische Auswahl an schön und detailliert zubereiteten Speisen. Einen Punkt muss ich beim Risotto abziehen, es war leicht trocken, ich mag mein Risotto cremiger, geschmacklich aber es aber super. Der Service ist absolut aufmerksam und charmant, Kompliment!!

This was a very nice place a long time ago. Today was a huge disappointment. First the part of the restorant lost the light and instead of offering us a table in the part with the light they just ignored and served us the food in the dark. Also they served us main dishes in different times where two of them was late 30min. Finally the bill was with mistakes so we had to explain with them. The only good thing was that fish and cheeks were amazing. Tartar was bad, pasta was tasteless. Atmosphere was ok but before was much cooler

Reserved a table via Open Table and gave a birthday as the reason. If something like that is asked, then you should respond, that's not how good service works... And the fact that there is a slot is completely ok, the fact that you are constantly being asked by two service staff at the same time makes a jostling impression - unfortunately this has prevailed until you pay. The food was really good, the portions were perfectly fine, no one was unfriendly, but all in all it was soulless. Nevertheless, thank you and we can always improve. And we were there on March 28th. eat with you :)

Wir (2 Pärchen) suchen gerne neue Locations. Das Williams war schon bekannt als Bar mit Cocktails aber gegessen hatten wir noch nie. Die Preise erstaunen erstmal aber man wird auch von Vorspeisen satt. Sehr leckere Squids, die Ananas war schon sehr essiglastig, bzw sauer aber im Gesamtpaket stimmig. Genauso wie der Rotkraut Salat mit Erdnüssen. Grauburgunder zu empfehlen und auch die Hauptgerichte ein Traum, der Kabeljau mit Pilzen. Das Risotto hätte etwas schlotziger sein können. Cocktails nach Wunsch oder nach Karte, alles mit Liebe zubereitet und ein Lob an beide Bedienungen bzgl der Etikette, nicht abgeräumt als noch gegessen wurde und danach auch noch gefragt ob es denn gewünscht ist. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend und wir kommen gerne wieder

There are moments in life that you will remember for a very long time, and I am talking about the good ones. Visiting this bar should be done in combination of “Wanna enjoy some good cocktails” spirit. That so simple. Excellent bar for excellent drinks in good company. Perfect service and dedicated bartender as well! Nice atmosphere and chill music make this very join full. On a special request we did a Tabasco + chilli 🌶️ drink, like a jin&jang… perfect harmony.

Fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere :) Very tasty, generous portions and super good non-alcoholic cocktails. The Tiramisu banana bread was a lasting delight: VEGAN. Thank you very much

Nice bar and great drinks. However, the service left a lot to be desired, the waiters were almost standing next to themselves. At the beginning we were told 1.5 hours before the store closed that we could only order one drink. After that the order of 5 drinks was corrected 4 times until we asked the waiter to please write down our order. Even after that, the service was very inconsistent and chaotic. Finally, the waiter would have completely missed billing us if you hadn't reminded him. We then gave this feedback personally when the waiter indirectly asked for a tip. This service really doesn't justify the high priced drinks.

Das Ambiente ist nett. Rustikal aber mit industriellem Charme. Das Essen ist ok, aber für den Preis nicht wirklich außergewöhnlich. Obwohl die Gerichte sich sehr interessant und besonders anhören sehen sie auf dem Teller eher “traurig” aus.

We had reserved a table for 8 people as part of the Christmas party. Communication went well and was uncomplicated. The service was very attentive and helpful! We were also impressed by the food and will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Eigentlich ein schöner Laden. Das Essen ist gut, jetzt nicht besonders hervorzuheben aber gut. Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe da und haben ordentlich bestellt. Immer wieder brachte der Kellner unaufgefordert Wasser, kein Label, sondern selber abgefüllt. Als die Rechnung kam stand Wasser im zweistelligen Bereich auf der Rechnung. Ich meinte dann, sollte ihr schon sagen, wenn ihr jedes Mal unaufgefordert 6,50 auf den Tisch schlabbert. Der junge Mann, sagte dann: der Chef will das so. Ich frage dann: ist der Chef da? Ne, der ist nicht da aber das läuft hier immer so. Sagen wir mal so. Kein Schlaubi Schlumpf Move

Essen und Getränke super. Service sehr freundlich aber etwas kurz angebunden und nicht immer für Nachbestellungen ansprechbar. Was wohl der etwas knappen personellen Besetzung geschuldet war. Zwischen Vor- und Hauptspeise hätte ein wenig mehr Zeit liegen dürfen. Räumliches Ambiente und Gestaltung sehr ansprechend. Aber leider ein ziemlich hoher Geräuschpegel. Doch auch bei diesen kleineren Abstrichen wirklich empfehlenswert, wenn man sich mal etwas gönnen will.

Schicke Location, sehr netter Service, die Cocktails und das Essen waren mega. Die Atmosphere ist locker und ungezwungen. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend und ich komme gerne wieder. Das nächste mal ohne Auto, um mich durch die Cocktailkarte zu probieren ;)

Das Essen im Restaurant war geschmacklich ansprechend, jedoch enttäuschte die geringe Portion im Verhältnis zum Preis. Der Service ließ zu wünschen übrig, geprägt von schlechter Laune und geringem Interesse. Lange Wartezeiten auf Getränke trübten die Erfahrung, besonders in Spitzenzeiten war das Personal überfordert. Sitzplätze in der Nähe der Tür und neben einer stark aufgedrehten Heizung minderten den Komfort erheblich. Insgesamt war die Erfahrung für mich nicht besonders positiv, vor allem angesichts des relativ hohen Preises für eine durchschnittliche Qualität.

Tolle Bar! Gute Drinks, super leckeres Essen und einen tollen Service durften wir genießen von einem kompetenten Mann (mitte40) danke 🙏
