Large selection of food (also vegetarian/vegan) - delicious and prices are okay too. Staff is top. Unfortunately, you have to wait in line for a long time to get food. Lots of parking spaces...but a bit hidden behind the upper ones...just drive through the gate/gate down to the meadow.

Different bands and orchestras play on the weekend. If you like something original, traditional and casual, the Wild Rose is the right place for you.

Sehr schöner schattiger Biergarten. Von der Bamberger Altstadt über einen Fußweg gut zu erreichen. Allerdings befindet er sich oben auf dem Stefansberg, dadurch ist ein leichter Anstieg zu bewältigen. Was sich in jedem Fall lohnt. Die Preise sind absolut moderat. Sehr gut gefiel uns, dass man auch mitgebrachte Speisen verzehren darf, so etwas ist nicht selbstverständlich. In den Steinkrügen bleiben die Getränke angenehm kühl. Wir würden wieder kommen.

The chef also has no inhibitions in the kitchen and lets his imagination run wild. Aside from the somewhat bubblegum-like crust, there was a short, curly black hair in the potato salad. Probably the greeting from the kitchen. There were also traces of lipstick from the taster on the beer mug. (As we all know, the eye also drinks). This could also be documented photographically. Nevertheless, the cellar is highly recommended, not least because of the surprise effect.

Pure disappointment for regular customers... We visited Wilden Rose around lunchtime today. Together we prepared for a lovely birthday afternoon with cake, coffee and warm food from the restaurant. What sounded so wonderful unfortunately ended with us having to leave the restaurant early. We had prepared. With cake in one hand, hats on our heads and a good mood on our faces, we spread out comfortably in the outside area of ​​the restaurant. Although we have been guests in the restaurant for quite a while and have brought cakes with us in previous years, we had informed ourselves in advance so as not to cause any inconvenience with the service. Checked online and confirmed. However, despite all this, there were inconveniences. We had forgotten our cutlery (plates and forks) at home. In order not to have to drive home unnecessarily white and get our own cutlery, we decided to ask the service if we could borrow a fork and plate for our cake. A nice waitress then told us it was no problem. But without any premonition, another lady jumped out from the back corner of the kitchen. She wanted to make it clear to me that it was not allowed to give out plates and cutlery without accepting them. The waitress looked at me with fury until I responded to her demands: “Fifteen euros for ten plates.” It was a beautiful day and a celebratory occasion, which is why I agreed to pay the €15 fee. Naturally, I asked if I could still have the fork now. Without warning, the waitress spoke to me again: "Fifteen euros for 10 forks." Besides noting that her vocabulary was that of a 10 year old, I wanted to ask again if that wasn't a little too much for 10 forks and 10 plates. No, was the only answer that the money-obsessed Golum could give me. Without arguing any further, we packed our things and left.

Children have the opportunity to play in a large playground. The highlight for me are the tasty fries.

Bamberg is a beautiful city and the Wilde Rose Cellar is certainly worth a visit to try out the smoked beer that is unique there and enjoy it in the beer garden.

Nice beer garden without smoked beer. Self-service is quick, sometimes when you arrive at rush hour it takes a while to get ahead in the queue. Food mixed: the snacks are good, fried foods (schnitzel/fries) are also good, unfortunately bratwursts are pre-cooked. Potato salad is out of the bucket and absolutely inedible. It's best to avoid turkey strips on salad or baked potatoes. But the ambience is nice and once you have tried it and found out “your” food, you can have a very nice time.

Not a "cellar" but a spacious wooded beer garden with self-service, a little away from the center or up the slope. Beers are consistently delicious, food is tasty, a worthwhile destination even in rainy weather (because it is partially covered) (even for larger groups).

Wunderschön ursprünglich und weitläufig, hier bekommt Ihr immer einen Platz! Eine enorm breite Bierauwahl (Keesmann, Schlenkerla, eigenes Kellerbier und Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Bio-Weisse) - alles vom Fass! Essen kann man natürlich mitbringen, was auch stark wahrgenommen wird. Es gibt aber auch Brotzeit und warme Gerichte zu kaufen. Nur der Aufstieg zum Keller will bewältigt werden...

Teilweise genervte, gestresste Bedienungen.....das Essen nur Durchschnitt....aber trotzdem ein sehr schöner Keller.....auch mit Kindern....

Man sitzt hier wirklich sehr schön inmitten von Bamberg und Bäumen. Es gibt immer eine leckere Auswahl an verschiedenen Gerichten. Die lange Warteschlange an der Bestellannahme spricht dafür, wie lecker es ist. Zudem isst man, dafür dass es mitten in Bamberg ist, echt günstig. Ich gehe hier immer wieder gerne hin!

Tolles Ambiente unter Bäumen, Schöner Spielbereich, Gutes Essen, Preis/Leistung für Stadt OK., schneller Service bei Selbstbedienung - Einzig die äußerst unfreundliche Dame an der Essenstheke muss hervorgehoben werden. Das war evtl. die Tagesform, aber so möchten Gäste sowie Kolleg:innen sicherlich nicht verbal "abgebügelt" werden.

Ein must, wenn man einen echten Bamberger Keller besuchen will!
