First of all, THANK YOU for your patience with us. The food is delicious, the prices are more than reasonable and the service is very warm and courteous. It would be wrong to talk about service here given the way the reception and catering are provided. We'd love to come back when we're in town. (If we may 🙈😂)

Great service very friendly, food was for me too much, had schnitzel and pommies, got two large pieces of schnitzel,value for your money.

The food was delicious and the service was more than friendly. We can't complain about the portions being too small... oh, how full our stomachs were afterwards. And it was delicious!

The only positive thing was the beer, delicious. The schnitzel was too salty, the Schäuferle had been completely dry in the oven for two days (I've never eaten such a bad one). Other waiters kept coming who wanted to deliver something that wasn't ordered, which was annoying. It was cold and uncomfortable. A disappointing visit to Bamberg.

Autumn took away our comfort as it was very cool in the covered beer garden, even though we had reserved inside. Unfortunately the Schäufele was far too dry and the schnitzel was completely over salted, the apple strudel was hard but the beer was good. It's a shame, I had imagined my birthday differently.

Actually we just wanted to drink a beer...Lager and Helles were both great, so we also tried Weizen and Zwergla...also very good. So we wanted to test the food too...all three dishes (Brotzeit, Schnitzel and Schäufele) were delicious and the portion size was very good. From this point on I would like to express my thanks and high praise to the service staff. Great job you're doing. Fast, friendly, attentive but not intrusive. And always totally relaxed, even if you had to walk a lot. Highly recommended.

A big compliment to Fässla Keller. Price/performance ratio is absolutely top 💯👍😋 The portions are plentiful and you'll be full. I had the sauerbraten and it tasted very good, and my wish for extra sauce was also fulfilled. The service was great, we received friendly service straight away and didn't have to wait long for the drinks or the food we ordered. Overall, highly recommended. There are daily specials that change every day and at fair prices. A Viennese-style schnitzel costs 12.90 euros here, but it was very well prepared and tasty. There's nothing wrong with that. We'll definitely be back.

Yesterday I visited the Fässler Keller and ordered the baked pollock fillet with potato salad and tartar sauce for €13.90 (picture attached). Unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations. The portion seemed quite small to me and the amount of tartar sauce wasn't enough for the fish. The pollack fillet itself was very dry, which was disappointing for me. Unfortunately I would only give the fish one star. The potato salad was okay, but in my opinion it wasn't seasoned enough. My companion also noticed that the portion seemed rather small. When asked, the waitress said that this was the standard portion size. On a positive note, the waitress was very friendly and the food was served quickly - after just two minutes. However, this suggests that the fish may have been prepared for some time, which could explain the dryness. Overall, my visit was unfortunately disappointing and I probably won't visit the cellar again. For me the price has no relation to the quality of the food. It's a shame because the service was otherwise friendly.

Hello, I was there last night with 4 people and arrived at 8 to 8. I wanted to order something to eat and drink but no waiter had time. Everyone said they were not responsible, the next one would only bring drinks etc. 5 minutes after 8 the waiter came for our table and when I wanted to order my Currywurst meal, the cheeky guy said I should only have warm food until 8 p.m something cold food. It's still available in your store. I didn't order anything else because I lost my appetite. What kind of service is this? Would it have been so complicated to make such a simple meal. Especially I went to the kitchen and they still have them there some food made. And then you complain that no more customers come. Me and my joy will never enter the store again. That's just a disgrace to stop serving hot food at 8 p.m. Thursday evening it is summer And your price Scheuferla is almost 18 euros. Respect whoever pays that is ok. I wish you all the best, but definitely not good business. Dear Mr. Managing Director, I won't be entering the store again, I'm sure .18 euros Scheuferla is on fire for you. We ended up here while passing through and following a recommendation. On a beautiful summer evening, what could be better than a visit to the beer garden. Unfortunately I had to drive, so I didn't have to have a beer... but it was very tasty, I would have had another one. 😉 I had a Franconian snack pot, which was okay. In my opinion, the prices are very cheap, as is usual with the French. The atmosphere in the beer garden is nice, you can endure it for a while. I'll be happy to come back if I end up in Bamberg...

Eines finde ich nicht schön. Am Freitag gab es Nudeln mit Gulasch. Am Samstag fragte ich den Kellner Patrick, ob es noch Nudeln mit Gulasch gab. Dies verneinte er, ließ sich aber später zwei Portionen Nudeln mit Gulasch für dich und seine Frau einpacken. Das finde ich meiner Meinung nach absolut nicht in Ordnung.😒😒😒😒😒.

Very disappointed with the food service. Ordered 2 meals and 1 came out half an hour after the first one. When it came to pay we were told that it's cash only. Luckily we had enough cash on us.

All in all not very impressed with this place. The waitress wasn't very friendly at all. My husband's meal arrived about half an hour after mine.....very bad!!! When I questioned the waitress she only said .....yours was a cold dish and your husband's is a hot one......well......they should still manage to bring meals out together. What's the point going out for a meal together otherwise??! To top it all off, we couldn't even pay by credit card........in a place like that??? Luckily I had enough cash on me.....not that I usually carry that much cash around with me anymore.

So the price is absolutely justified for this great food 👍🏻The staff was also super friendly, so 10 out of 10. On August 6th, 2024, very friendly employees served us a freshly tapped beer from our own brewery. As a side dish I had the famous Schäuferla with cabbage, dumplings and delicious sauce. The meat was tender, the skin was hot and crispy. Simply a poem. Thank you and see you next time 👋

I haven't been here for a long time and I thought I'd come back to eat but the prices are sometimes very outrageous - €18 for a Schäufela 😅😅😅 Of course everything has become more expensive, but you can also exaggerate the prices! Well, I consciously didn't decide on this meal, but instead on half a chicken, which in my opinion was not grilled but rather steamed and the taste was at its lowest point. I certainly can't justify such a price increase with the VAT increase and the bottom line is that the chicken has to taste good. That wasn't good, the fries were already cold, actually disappointing.🤷‍♂️ Three small scoops of ice cream for the children almost seven euros🥲🥲🥲 It was clear that this response was due to VAT increasing energy. Of course, I also have to say that many restaurateurs took advantage of this, especially with regard to the VAT increase, and from an economic point of view increased prices significantly more than was actually necessary. But of course, you are right the customer can decide for himself where he goes or not, or what he is or not.

They overcharged us by 10 euros probably bc we're tourists and there was no overall calculation given & only cash payment (we realised this only when checking the change given later). Food & beer were ok as in Fässla brauerei has but this scam left a very unpleasant feeling.

Afterwards we wanted to go outside - after all, this is a beer garden. We were given a towel to wipe the place dry - very nice and attentive. Das Essen kommt nicht zusammen. Man muss alleine essen obwohl man zusammen kommt. An sich schade. Andere schaffen es auch. Man kommt gern zusammen, man isst gerne zusammen und man geht zusammen.

Yesterday we started our annual beer hike there. I called them in advance and asked if we could have a white sausage breakfast there at 10:00 a.m. The kitchen actually opens later. Nevertheless, they made it possible and we had a delicious start to the day with freshly baked pretzels. We also really like beer (but that goes for almost everyone in Bamberg). Regarding the service: super friendly and personable Saarland lady. It's a dream for every restaurant to have someone like that on their team. We don't know what could have gone better. Sind nach längerer Zeit und nach Pächterwechsel mal wieder eingekehrt. Bestellung: 1. Schweinebraten mit Sauerkraut: Braten zart aber die Sauce schmeckte wie mit Wasser gestreckt was das gesamte Essen versaute. Sauerkraut Ok 2. Wurstsalat: man freut sich auf etwas frisches aber bekommt dann den Wurstsalat im Sud mit zuviel Zucker. 3. Sauerbraten Sauerbraten bekommt ein OK wobei das Manko beim trockenen Fleisch liegt. Fazit: Trinken ja, Essen Nein schade das es in den letzten Jahren nur abwährts ging obwohl der guten Lage. Preis-Leistung auch nicht OK für die Qualität deutlich zu teuer

We were there with a large group, around 45 people. Eating a la carte was no problem. We were allowed to bring our own cake and 1.50 coffee cover. Staff was very friendly and attentive, food was wonderful. I can only recommend!

Sehr schöner Biergärten, gutes Essen, gute Biere - und eine sehr nette und schnelle Bedienung. Was will Mann&Frau Mehr !! Eine elektonische Bestell-Übermittlung ist schon top. Preise hier etwas günstiger wie im näherem Stadtbereich, Portionen etwas größer und Parkplätze sind genug hier. Unsere Bedienung, eine gute junge Frau mit einer ´´BäckereiJacke´´ war wie ein Wiesel unterwegs - Sie stach unter ihren Kollegen/innen schon flink hervor .... hatte bei gutem Wetter, letzte Woche, auch viel zutun - trotzdem ein paar nette Worte und flupps war das Bier und das Schäuferle schon da. Lob an die Küche !! Also der Fässla - Biergarten und deren Biere - meine Empfehlung als sehender Hesse aus Marburg.
