We can't rate the food or ambiance, so we're giving it a medium rating. However, the waitress refused to let our youngest daughter use the restroom, even after we offered to pay. Refusing to use the restroom for a preschool-aged child is incomprehensible, and I've never experienced that before!

A sensational and original location. We had booked tickets in advance for October 18, 2025, which I highly recommend. They offered a fantastic, extensive variety program, which was impressive to watch thanks to an extremely cheerful host. It exuded pure good cheer. Our server, Evy, deserves special praise for serving us delicious cocktails so cheerfully and warmly. The evening was fantastic all around. We'll be back.

A great restaurant with a very individual ambience and dishes like mother's

We had a fantastic breakfast in the morning [a farmer's breakfast]. It was incredibly delicious. Anyone who really wants to stay full all day should order it. 😉🫶🏻 Around lunch/afternoon, we each had a slice of the homemade cake. 😋 I'm still dreaming about that wonderful day. The service was a 15/10 ♥️ I can only recommend it.

The restaurant is truly extravagant, the food was very good today, and my cocktail was also delicious. Unfortunately, there was one thing that overshadowed the evening: Our waitress was only on her second day there and received no support at all. Instead of being helpful, she was treated condescendingly – and it was clearly noticeable. I found it particularly disappointing that the person who seemed to be in charge that evening preferred to be busy with her phone rather than assisting the new employee. It didn't seem professional or respectful. This shouldn't happen in any restaurant or company. For me, respectful interaction within the team is just as important as good food. It's a shame, because everything tasted absolutely top-notch – but I wouldn't come back under such circumstances.

I was there two years ago. In comparison, the show and the food were much better. The food was really not good and not fresh. The show was boring at times; my Dutch cousins ​​could sing Helen Fischer better (in terms of lyrics) than the host. The waitresses' Berlin accent was wonderful, friendly and patient despite the hectic pace. The ambiance is fantastic.

Today I was out with my girlfriend. We saw the cake by chance and said we'd give it a try, and there was an event/show on. We really enjoyed our time: the singing, the show, the pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere, the great service, and the friendly and personable staff. And of course, the decor was like something out of a children's fairytale. A very nice place! I recommend young people go here for a nice evening, for example, on a first date with their girlfriend; you'll have a great time.

We went to the Wilde Mathilde for brunch, and the two waitresses were very attentive and helpful. The interior was also a pleasant experience. The food, however, wasn't very satisfying. The selection is somewhat monotonous, offers few alternatives for vegans, and the menu labeling is incomplete. Allergen labeling and quantities are missing. I'll definitely have breakfast somewhere else in the future, but I'd be happy to come back for the evening show.

It was my first time in Berlin, and I’ll definitely come back to this lovely restaurant. I saw the beautiful decor of this restaurant online and decided to check it out. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the staff were friendly! Tickets are required for entry on Fridays and Saturdays, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Berlin!

We had an unforgettable evening with Isa. The restrooms are also very clean, which isn't always the case in Berlin's nightlife.

The decor is unique and our kids thought the place was fun. But the quality of their cakes is not worth coming for, tastes like shake and bake and margarine.

Classic GDR dishes are on the menu. A large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails is available. Friendly staff and good service.

Great show, but disappointing treatment of guests We spent an evening at the Wilde Mathilde and were initially thrilled: The ambiance was lovingly designed, the variety show entertaining, and the cocktails delicious. It could have been a thoroughly successful evening – unfortunately, it was severely marred by a few unpleasant experiences. Right at the beginning, my pants ripped due to a broken chair. The staff took it with humor and promised to take care of it – the manager had been informed and I shouldn't worry. Instead of a professional solution, however, the issue was more or less "laughed off" throughout the evening. At one point, a very shy employee came over and wrote down my information on a torn piece of paper. After that – radio silence. Despite my contact a week later, there was no clarification, no apology, nothing. Even repeated attempts to contact them continued to be ignored. Respectful treatment of guests looks different. Finally, we received an incorrect bill: Since we paid as a large group and the amount was split afterward, we noticed that almost €70 had been charged for drinks that weren't even listed. It's a shame – the evening had great potential, but the ignorance, disrespectful behavior, and lack of service afterward left us very DISAPPOINTED. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot recommend Wilde Mathilde.

A great place for a fun evening with friends of all ages. The main attractions are the dancers on the bar and trampoline, the singers, and the saxophonist strolling between the tables. Not for the faint of heart.

Generally recommended. We were a bit unlucky with the service and sometimes had to wait a long time for drinks during the show. Before the show, we sat outside at Charlottii. Everything was great there! (5*) Two stars less for the service inside. The show was really entertaining and varied.

It's not cheap, but definitely worth a visit if you're in Berlin. The food is quite good, they also have traditional Berlin dishes, which are very good, and the cocktails were quite good too. The highlight, however, was the show!

We are from Denmark and were served by Isa... she is an absolute gem and a fantastic enthusiast for this place. She is aware that all her guests have the most amazing experience. The cakes are world-class; I was able to try four, and each one tasted exceptionally good, perfectly paired, and visually stunning. I had a non-alcoholic cocktail, and that was also delicious and refreshing. Therefore, the food only gets 4 stars, as we didn't try anything from the menu, but that will certainly happen again in the future. The only drawback: that day, the draft beer selection was unfortunately limited, and there was no bottled water. The ambiance is truly outstanding; the decor is wonderful, a bit like a circus ring, with great, comfortable seating all around, amidst a dream of pink and white ornaments. Unfortunately, there was little to no toilet paper in the restrooms; perhaps they should check that again before opening. A big compliment also to the great and friendly service staff; incredibly nice and accommodating, just as it should be. All in all, I will come back again, and then one evening for the variety show. I think it will be worth it.

The staff were nice, however I walked to this restaurant as the Black Forest cake was recommended, there was no Black Forest cake available. The cake was nice but not great. Mojito cocktails very nice. A very fun atmosphere though if you were looking for a silly, alcohol fuelled night out

The ambiance was quite nice. We waited a good 20 minutes for drinks. We didn't see any of the show, as we were sitting in a small, separate room to the left of the entrance... Unfortunately, the singing we heard was awful. The food was okay. Very large portions.

Great show, super talented performers, but the food was disappointing.

We were here for a variety show on a Friday in September and had an illustrious evening. The program was varied and appealing. The highlight was the acrobatic performances "under the ceiling" of the bar, which catapults you back to the 1960s in the USA. The show dance group (three dancers) also performed in various genres and were impressive. A vocal soloist from Sweden enhanced the performance with her program. In between, a saxophonist also had a say with a variety of songs. Entertainer Heike led the entire evening through the varied program. The cocktails were just as breathtaking as the cake selection. The original Berlin CPM didn't really impress us, but that's a matter of taste, as is the music of the 60s and 70s, which is tailored to the ambiance – but you're right in the middle of it all, as the bar becomes a stage – never experienced anything like it! All in all, it was a very funny and enjoyable evening and, in my opinion, highly recommended!

Wilde Mathilde in Berlin is a bar and cabaret with colorful decor and retro-style entertainment. The selection of drinks is large and varied, while the food is mainly simple dishes and sweets. The atmosphere is lively and tourist-friendly, but can be experienced as somewhat loud and intense depending on taste.

The solyanka was salty and very sour. I would advise against ordering it 🤮🤮🤮The food doesn't deserve a star at all. Complaints were ignored, which was great. The food was simply taken away. The bill was for a small amount of petrol and a large apple cider. 2 solyanka and 2 drinks for €29.90, a rip-off. I don't recommend the food there. I feel sorry for anyone who goes there.

The two of us were there for a variety show evening! We actually had a reservation at Knutschfleck, but we were rebooked "due to illness"! (Looking at the reviews, this happens quite often for various reasons.) We got a seat at the bar. At first, we thought it would be great, right at the front, but during the show, it became clear that you couldn't see yourself that well because the ladies were dancing on the bar, which was very impractical to watch! The shows were quite short and rather mediocre! The aerialist wasn't bad, and the singer was quite good! The intervals were far too long, and the chatter about who had a birthday, wedding anniversary, or something else went on for far too long! Luckily, the tickets were only €17.50 per person! It really wasn't worth any more than that! Our waitress was very friendly at first, but as the evening progressed, she became quite bitchy! When another waitress told her that someone at our table wanted to order something, she was told she had other guests too! In my opinion, she (Kim) was completely overwhelmed! The food was, well, okay! I had the veggie burger, which was quite interesting—but nothing more! My husband ordered the currywurst, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough for him, so he followed it up with the Königsberger Klopse! He says it was delicious! A couple was seated at our table, they were both very nice, and we had a great conversation—that saved the evening a bit! Thank you both so much! Conclusion: We won't have to go back!!!

A disastrous experience! The solyanka was way too salty, I couldn't eat it. When we pointed this out to the waitress, all she got was a laconic "Okay, I'll pass you on" – no real apology, no offer, not even a free drink. Completely unacceptable for the high prices. Bad food, incompetent service, zero hospitality. Absolutely not recommended!

We went there for a stag do. The crowd consisted mainly of brides-to-be and people celebrating an event. The food was decent and the service adequate. The waitress spoke English... quite rare in Berlin. The atmosphere was good and the show was friendly... we really got the restaurant going, especially during the can-can. Honestly, it's a great place to do it with friends without getting stressed out. I recommend it.

Overall, great place to spend your lunch or dinner. Restaurant also has a Burlesque type show on the weekends. My food tasted very fresh and delicious. Although getting an extra ice besides 1 cube proved to be problematic 🤣 but if you are not used having it, you will be fine

The location is very cool, something different. We were there for breakfast, and there was a tiered stand that was quite full. Everything was fine, except that we witnessed an incident in which the manager, presumably, spoke very condescendingly to an employee, and loudly in the restaurant. This left a very unpleasant impression on me and somehow overshadowed my entire stay. I hope it was an exception and that employees aren't treated like this all the time.

I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's designed with great attention to detail. The staff are quick and friendly, the food is delicious, and there's a wide selection. Highly recommended 🎀

Because the air conditioning at Knutschfleck was supposedly broken, we were rebooked. The show experience clearly depends on the seats. We were seated in the far corner, even though we were there very early and had booked months ago. Unfortunately, when we asked to be moved because many tables were still unoccupied, they were completely uncooperative. The truly wonderful Isa managed to get us closer to the bar. A group of four women who had been seated next to us were, after loudly protesting, allowed to sit right at the bar. So, when reserving a table, be sure to ask for the table number and find out exactly where the table is. The food was quite good. The portions were generous. I would have preferred more sauce for the Königsberger Klopse. It was a bit dry overall. The drink selection was amazing. The show itself was quite nice, but artificially drawn out. Overall: We won't be going there again.

The good news first: The service was super friendly, and the Apperoll Spritz was delicious. But they had no idea about "GDR cuisine." The food was terrible. The solyanka tasted stale and spoiled, and the tomato sauce is cheaper at the store. The Jägerschnitzel was way too thick.

Crazy place for breakfast 🍳 in cabaret style/merry-go-round. Huge portions. Cakes 🍰 were looking good.

I was here with my family for my birthday because the hickey had a cable fire, and so the location was moved here (without an email or warning, just a note on the front door). After we arrived, we were given questioning looks and asked what was going to happen to us. We booked and paid for the show, brunch, and drinks, but we didn't get a show, just two breakfast menus and two free drinks for four people. We had to pay for the rest. The aforementioned fresh rolls were covered in mold, the restrooms were clean but run down to the very end, with loose seats and peeling paint. But the main thing is that the shopkeepers sit in the corner and stare down your neck.

A successful mix of music, artists, and dance. Unfortunately, one star was deducted because the breaks between the individual acts were too long (20 minutes). A big compliment to Ewi, our waitress.

Dont be fooled by the positive reviews. We had a booking for the breakfast here after seeing the reviews online. It is an interesting place to see but I wouldn't recommend eating or drinking here. We went on a wednesday morning and was sat for 20 minutes with no one serving us. We then went to the bar to ask for a refund as we had already paid online and did not want to wait longer. The manager/supervisor was dismissive and rude, she told us it was only a reservation and you can't pay online through their website. We then showed our bank statements and the email proving we had paid for a breakfast for two to which she then said they dont do refunds. The manager/supervisor seemed more interested in speaking to her colleagues then serving the tables. Another table next to us sat and left due to the lack of service and acknowledgement. So we have had to go to another place and have lost money due to them "not doing refunds".

All in all, it was OK. The show isn't exactly amazing. The venue itself is well located and well-equipped. The cocktail menu is amazing, and there's something for every taste. The food, on the other hand, is rather average and overpriced. We were there for my stag party, which was originally booked and requested for "Hook and Loop." They booked the right package, but it didn't include "the bride/groom will also be included in the show." They only congratulated me on the stag party. It was a shame. The seat was at the edge, behind a pillar, which limited the view of the stage/bar. Our waitress, ISA, was the absolute highlight. She fulfilled all our requests and was always there with her warm personality! Without her, the evening would have been only half as fun, and we certainly wouldn't have stayed as long.

An evening with a difference. You can enjoy the show with good food and a variety of cocktails. Plenty of musical and dance performances make for pleasant entertainment. The waitress—in our case, Kalinka—was extremely friendly and always concerned about our well-being.

Katinka provided outstanding service: friendly, approachable, attentive, warm, cheerful, fast, simply perfect. This place is perfect for bachelorette parties. The performers were fantastic. Overall, it was too loud and a bit too long for us. The fries were delicious, the currywurst very good, the chicken burger was good and very large. The "Berliner Luft" ice cream sundae was refreshingly delicious. The cocktails were excellent. Will we come back? Hmm? Maybe if the right people come along.
