Wenn man mit Karte zahlt fragt das Terminal nach Trinkgeld Bei einer Imbissbude, wo man sich das Essen selber holt und Currywurst mit Pommes schon 9€ kostet. Absolute Frechheit

Die Nudeln lagen schon ewig da rum. Die Soße naja ,selten so schlechte Soßen gegessen. Empfehlenswert Nein.

Es ist wirklich gut. Der Service ist freundlich, die Qualität des Essens ist für so ein Lokal gut und die Preise sind angemessen. Es gibt hauptsächlich Pizza und Pasta. Ich habe mich für die Pizza entschieden, die lecker war. Die Pasta habe ich auch probiert, die war ebenfalls essbar.

Herr Bloch ist ein unglaublich umsichtiger, freundlicher und effizienter Mitarbeiter.

Die ekelhafteste Toilettenerfahrung meines Lebens. Ich musste erst mal gefühlt ne Stunde den Boden abwischen weil eine Urinlache den kompletten Boden bedeckt hat. Ich stand in einer Urinpfütze, Widerlich. Und Leute leistet euch mal bitte einen Klodeckel. Der war lose und kurz vorm abfallen. Einfach nur peinlich und die barrierefreie Toilette ist dermaßen eng, absolut nicht durchdacht!!! Stellt doch bitte Personal ein, für den Toilettenbesuch bei solch einen Massenandrang von Zoobesuchern. Und ein Tipp: Kunden WLAN und Hafermilch in einer riesen Gastronomie sollte absolut normal sein. Wir sind in Berlin und nicht in einem Dorf wo man noch nie was von Hafermilch gehört hat!!

Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, doch zeugt es von geringer gastronomischer Kompetenz (das betrifft die Leitung dieser Einrichtung) wenn es für Weizenbier 0,5 aus der Flasche nur Gläser gibt, die 0,3 l fassen!

Ich aß hier zweimal zu Mittag und holte mir Currywurst. Toller schneller Snack, es gab fast keine Schlange. Du bekommst sofort Essen, du musst nicht warten. Es gibt Tische mit Tieransichten.

A great option for a break during your visit to the Berlin Zoo. If you've already paid for the entrance ticket, you can certainly afford the food. For a self-service option, the food is of very good quality and always fresh.

If you want to eat a plate of pasta or a good pizza, go somewhere else!!!!! The gorillas' meal was more appetizing!

Letztes Jahr 2024 im Frühjahr war ich im Zoologischer Garten und im Aquarium natürlich habe ich in diesen Restaurant eine Kaffeepause gemacht dieses Restaurant kann ich weiter Empfehlen.

I haven't had such bad carbonara and Bolognese in a long time. The sauce was relatively small, the food was half-cold, and the pasta was only briefly "warmed up" in water, which looked very unappetizing. When I asked about the ingredients, I was told "normal," and then I was annoyed because I couldn't immediately decide whether to order pasta or pizza. The pizza looked like it was a budget-friendly option, even from the outside, and the portion prices were very high. There were loose screws on the bottom of the chair I was sitting on, which you could feel or move.

When I asked the lady at the cash register to split the bill in half so I could pay separately with my partner, she yelled at me in German. I'm French and I was doing my best. She said she'd already asked me if I could pay together or separately at the beginning, so it wasn't possible anymore. So I paid the full amount, and she gave me the receipt, telling me we'd split it ourselves. There's nothing complicated about splitting a bill in half; I'm a waitress. Around €45 for a pizza, a pasta dish, two rolls, two desserts, and a bottle of water. The price could be reasonable if the food had been a little tastier and the staff were friendly.

A recommended alternative at the zoo with a lovely atmosphere! The food was plentiful and delicious (pasta Bolognese, mixed salad). Definitely worth trying!

Large, beautiful dining areas. Unfortunately, there are no children's meals and currently only a limited selection. Explanation on site: Children have to eat normal portions. We only open the sales area and beer taps in the beer garden occasionally during the summer, so you'll have to come back another time.

Atmoshphere doesn't represent the food quality because the food feels cheap and not very good. It started raining outside and there were not enough space to sit down and enjoy the food.

A one star restaurant certainly is a rare occurrence - and for obvious reasons one that act within a confined area such as an airport museum or in this case zoo would be more at risk to settle for this concept for commercial reasons - but I did still have somewhat higher expectations, not the least based on reviews here. But having tried the pizza and pasta offers with family here I would confidently say that ”zoo gastronomie” is worthy of this dubious accolade… Prices would be high but not extreme, but the absolute lack of any ambition in terms of ”gastrononomy” seals the deal.

Not bad food in itself, but if it's lukewarm, then the cash register isn't busy, it gets cold and you're told you can use the microwave, then the measure is full. There was a lot of dirt stuck between the wooden slats on the beer garden tables. Then when I look down at my food and accidentally look into the cracks, I feel sick. nice quiet seating inside and outside, staff were everywhere, but not where they should be. The clearing conveyor was also completely jammed, which is unsavory.

Food was excellent for a zoo restaurant. Great selection. Prices in the area are of course slightly higher. Everything fresh. Very friendly staff and clean. Even with a high volume of visitors on Sunday, the toilets were clean.

We paid over €70 for 4 people. Okay, the zoo is always more expensive but you can expect a certain level of hygiene for the money. Does the health department also check there? I wanted to change my son's diaper and thought I would be hit. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. If I had had my cell phone with me I would have taken pictures and reported it straight away. When I opened the door I was met with a smell. A septic tank would have a nicer smell (and I'm really not sensitive). The changing mats were probably light green at one time. Unfortunately, they were covered in urine stains and feces. And we were there at times. It's hard to imagine that thousands of people have changed their babies there. There were things lying around everywhere that I thought were worms or larvae. I don't know, I didn't go in and just saw it from the door. I am deeply shocked. If you wrap there you will come out with at least one mushroom. It's okay that the food isn't 100% warm. It's tough for the price but we're not that petty. However, after I saw the toilets and especially this changing room, I had to think about what the hygiene in the kitchen should be like? And sorry, I will never go there again in my life. This is really inhumane. How you can reconcile that with your conscience is incomprehensible to me. And I would really like there to be regular checks there. That's absolutely not possible. The owner should really ask himself whether he would take his own children or grandchildren in there.

Pasta was cold, cooked without salt, slapped onto the plate carelessly and without a friendly word, and let's not even talk about the sauces. A small portion for the price, but I was glad in the end that it wasn't more.

Latte macchiato almost only milk. Cake doesn't deserve the name. You can't cut any narrower. I will avoid this place in the future.

That lady is stupid and a racist, we are Spanish tourists and she was telling us something in German and we didn't understand what she was saying and she spoke very badly to us from the first moment, making bad gestures at us and laughing at us with her partner, it's a shame that you have staff like that in front of the public.

We just had a drink. The drinks weren't even cold even though we took them out of the fridge and the employee at the checkout was so unfriendly and shouted at us because we wanted to go to an area that was supposedly reserved but there was no sign of it and the barrier wasn't there either, I didn't think it was good and it wasn't much going on. We only had 12 o'clock and hardly any customers in the restaurant so no stress ... but well, people like that ruin your business...

So after the long closure, I expected a lot more. There is mainly pizza and pasta. The pizza is okay, but unfortunately the dough is hardly seasoned. When it comes to pasta, the noodles languish in warm water for a long time, which doesn't make them any better. It had Bolognese sauce, which unfortunately hardly resembled Bolognese. A sober tomato sauce with some meat. If you then want to have fries, you can only get them at the snack bar in front of the "restaurant" so you can wait in line again so that the other dishes have enough time to get cold. Luckily the employees are friendly and polite. And the review in which a “tester” was commissioned can only be a joke. Eating like an Italian restaurant is something completely different. Or the creator simply has no idea. You can also see the typical Italian cooking oil from Greece in the overview shots🤣

Me and my girlfriend had the wort coffee in the zoo Talia snacks. We asked for an iced coffee, we specified is literally black coffee with ice cubes, they charged us 17 euros for both and they tasted terrible. The service from the guy who was there was also really bad. Terrible experience.

The food was very good, the price was good for the portions. It was self condition, but still the service was very friendly. The ambience was very nice because you could sit outside under umbrellas.

Avoid at all costs. Completely overpriced and you are forced to tip. Something like that doesn't work in Germany.

The design is great and very on theme. It’s incredibly clean with a conveyor belt to put your dirty trays on and has lots of comfortable seating with lovely green views of the trees and water fountain. The staff were helpful and kind greeting you with a nice smile and the food was very tasty with a good portion size.

The environment is spacious and clean, the food is of good quality, and the price is surprisingly affordable. There is a changing table attached and there is a playground outside where adults can take a break, which is very convenient. You don’t need to prepare too much food when you come to the zoo from now on.

The restaurant makes a pretty good impression from the outside. The impression changes when you choose the food and drinks. The pricing is similar to that of a five-star restaurant, but here you get self-service industrial food. At the checkout you will also be asked for a tip. I would have liked to give one, but for what reason. My tip, save yourself the money and bring food and drink with you from home. I'll do the same next time I visit the zoo.

30 degrees in Berlin and no beer is served here. There are only small bottles of Kindl for €4.50

We like the super pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff and the good food. There are many healthy options, which is somewhat of an exception for the zoo. People are understanding of small children and we feel comfortable here. Thank you very much!

This is my objective assessment of the snack bar, I don't know whether the snack bar to the right of the main entrance belongs to the restaurant "Talia", to the restaurant or whether it is operated separately... 1. Ordering is relatively unproblematic as there is not much choice 2. The tray must be placed on the shelf, a request from the employees is made, but WITHOUT a request saying “put this up here!” 3. At the checkout you are not asked whether you have an annual ticket - I was always asked in the zoo! 4. 9.50 euros for a “Berlin currywurst with fries” - extortionate, in my opinion, for the quality of the products! The fries were "okay", but not outstanding for the price - you have to remember, it's not a "stereo" restaurant/snack bar. The sausage was far too salty, the casing was burnt, about a millimeter thick, so the sausage couldn't be cut properly with a wooden knife - why do you have to cut it yourself? Almost every snack bar in this city offers sliced ​​currywurst - that's standard, just not at the zoo. Ketchup with curry - I didn't taste any of the curry/paprika. Maybe my taste buds are gone too - who knows?! The friendliness also leaves a lot to be desired. Please & thank you are probably foreign words, but the expression on your face doesn't invite you to eat either. If you make a little joke, look “faceless” at the floor or just go about your business - just don’t talk to the customers… I had completely opposite experiences at the zoo, at the little snack bar, at the Himalayas❤️

The pizza is fine but the pasta is terrible. We ordered some carbonara but it has absolutely nothing to do with the real deal.

The taste is not convincing and the prices are obscene. When paying with a card, a 10 percent tip is charged even though you don't want it. The cashiers are very clever. That's not serious.

It's pretty simple: if you don't drain the pasta properly before you add the sauce, then you serve watery pasta. Pretty bold of them to have a neon sign up saying "come lo fa la mamma" and not understand this.

I was amazed when I first came here - the interior is very nice and cozy, the view outside is amazing including the fontain, and thee was nice jazz playing. Everything for a cost stop over while enjoying the Zoo. They have a choice of snacks and food, and drinks including the hot ones. There are also amenities for the small children including the chairs and bathroom.

The food is ok. Better than canteen. The ambience is very nice, like a 5* hotel lobby. Toilets and tables are super clean, considering there are so many children there. If you need an hour of peace from the zoo, this place is perfect ❤️❤️❤️

The carbonara is not carbonara, the pasta is not right, the sauce is definitely made with Shane, the cheese and the ham have a "cheap" taste, the bolognese tastes nothing, the pasta doesn't fit bolognese at all.

Bel ristorante, self service. Se vuoi mangiare la pasta, la pizza o qualche insalata prendi per tuo conto dentro il ristorante e poi paghi in cassa. Invece se vuoi mangiare il panino e le patatine, devi ordinare fuori dal ristorante, ma ti puoi sedere dentro lo stesso

Boiled pasta kept in a drawer then reheated (overcooked) in unsalted water. Don't expect much more from a zoo restaurant, but it was quite expensive on top of an already expensive zoo fee.

Sehr gut besucht da es draußen regnet. Die Preise sind gehoben. Mit der ganzen Familie (5) Mittagessen ein Hunderter ist weg. Auswahl und Qualität ist ok.

Wie in den anderen Berichten.... Das Restaurant ist hübsch gestaltet und hat viel Platz. Was das Essen angeht ist es wirklich nicht zu empfehlen. Industriefood. Dann wird man an der Kasse bei Kartenzahlung noch gefragt ob man im Selbstbedienungsrestaurant Trinkgeld geben möchte. Hinsetzen und Kaffee trinken ist ok.

Einfach nur leckeres Essen in schöner Atmosphäre

Les pizzas sont très mauvaises (et chères). Trop de miel et de sel sur la pizza au chèvre. Pâte pas cuite. Les pâtes ne sont évidemment pas mieux (sorties déjà cuites d'un tiroir tiède, puis rapidement passées à l'eau bouillante). La salade César était correcte. Et la salle est agréable. Pas de bière pression.

Nice restaurant. It is inside the zoo. So only those enter in the zoo to visit with ticket can have their time inside. A wide space. Everything organized. Staff are too cooperative. Foods are good too. They also offer booking for party. So 40-50 people can easily organize their party here. Calm and quiet place. Children can enjoy their time visiting inside the zoo.

Wir haben Pizza (war zur Hälfte schon fertig)für knapp 15€ gegessen. Mit etwas Feta Spinat und Rosmarinhonig. Nudeln Napoli für knapp 13 Euro. Es gab mehre Nudeln, aber es wurde für das Gericht vorgeschrieben (hat meiner Tochter nicht geschmeckt). Mein Partner hatte Nudeln Bolognese gegessen. Nudeln waren vorgegeen. Er würde von der Portion nicht satt und es war nicht so lecker. Getränke überteuert 0,33l 3,50 inklusive Pfand. (Pfand hat man nicht wiederbekommen. Pudding ca. 150g 3,50 pro Glas. Der Salat für 6,90 war das beste was wir heute in diesem Restaurant gegessen haben. In jedem anderen Restaurant kosten Nudeln max. Nur 10 Euro. Preis würde die Menge nicht gerechtfertigt. Kommen nicht noch mal dort essen. Der Mitarbeiter bei den Nudeln hat keine Handschuhe angehabt und hat zwischen durch in die Haare und Nase gefasst.🤮 Wir waren so im 12:30 vor Ort. Mein Partner hat 15 Minuten angestanden, bis er bestellen konnte und musste dann noch mal ca. 6 Minuten wareärten bis er sein essen bekommt. Positive war, Ambiente, Großer Wickeltraum, Stillraum und die Toiletten.

Während Service und Ambiente ganz OK sind, ist das Essen nicht zu empfehlen. 15€ für eine nicht durch gebackene Salamipizza,10€ für ein paar Gramm Pasta mit Bolognese Sauce oder 6€ für einen teils unfrischen Salat sind ein sehr schlechtes Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Nudeln waren nicht so lecker, wir hatten 3 verschiedene Varianten. Kuchen war da gegen lecker. Preise noch gerade so okay
