Stopped by today (12 p.m.). Cold taps and quite unfriendly. Warm tapas seemed to only come from the microwave. The grill wasn't on. Not inviting...

A nice tapas stand in the trendy Markthalle 9. The selection is manageable, offering cold tapas as well as small items fresh from the grill. Like the other stands, it's self-service, and afterwards you can find a cozy spot in this symbol of Kreuzberg's gentrification. Otherwise, the beautiful hall probably wouldn't have survived... In any case, my small mixed tapas plate with salami, cheese, olives, and bread, as well as the accompanying red wine, were delicious. For €7.50 you can certainly get more, but considering the lovely atmosphere, the price is reasonable. I'll gladly come again.

Good food and truly super-friendly service! The service makes all the difference here; the staff is attentive and friendly. The food tastes good, typical German cuisine. The portions could be a bit larger, though—especially the fries and side dishes have shrunk compared to before.
