We had goulash and it was perfect. When I first came, I saw somebody having cevapcici and the portion was already very big, but we ended up ordering goulash, and I didn’t regret it at all because also portion was very big and it was so tasty. It came with spatzle. The food was amazing. Also, the wine that recommended to us was perfect. The vibes, restaurant the interior everything and the waiter was also very nice to us. It’s definitely recommended!!

We were absolutely thrilled with the Balkan platter. It was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The service was equally impressive: friendly, attentive, and we immediately felt welcome. The food was okay, very quick to arrive at the table (about 5 minutes), but also rather expensive. The server smelled strongly of smoke, and the room was rather dark and cramped. There was no soap in the restroom.

A lovely, rustic restaurant run by a young Bulgarian couple who put a lot of effort into everything and are truly passionate about what they do. The food was excellent and almost impossible to finish. The kitchen is open all day, which I personally think is great. The Kaiserschmarrn was awful; the consistency was more like store-bought cake batter, cut into pieces and then warmed in a pan. It had absolutely nothing to do with real Kaiserschmarrn. The currant spritzer was simply soda water with a splash of currant syrup for color. It didn't taste like currants at all. Oh, and you can only pay by card for amounts over €20. They only tell you this when you try to pay. That was my first and last time there. I can't understand the many good reviews.

A truly lovely restaurant. The ambiance was charmingly rustic. The service was very friendly and attentive. I ordered the XL Wiener Schnitzel, and you can choose between pork and turkey. The schnitzel was enormous and tasted fantastic. The breading was perfectly crispy and the meat beautifully tender – perfect! :) The restaurant is also family-friendly, as I saw many families with small children, and there's a play area for them. If you’re anywhere around Nesselwang, the Wildbach Alm is a real must. All the food was really delicious, and the Balkan plates are something truly special – rich flavors, perfectly cooked meats, and an almost unbelievable amount of food. If you want to try something different, definitely go for the Balkan plate. It’s huge, incredibly tasty, and absolutely worth it. The homemade schnitzels are outstanding. They’re massive, freshly made, and full of flavor. Even the kids’ schnitzel is bigger than a normal schnitzel at many other restaurants, which says a lot about the generous portions here. On top of the great food, the service was really friendly and helpful, and you immediately feel welcome and well taken care of. Fantastic food, great value, and a place you’ll want to come back to. Highly recommended if you’re in the area.

I went here with my friends and we had a blast. The service was very friendly and helpful when choosing. The portion was very generous, I split a Balkan plate with a friend and although we’re good eaters, we were challenged to finish it. I highly recommend you visitt this place for a nice time, especially if you’ve got kids, as they have a huge indoor playground, so the little ones can play before they have a meal. Looking forward to my next visit!

It's a bit hidden, but it's worth the search! A lovely, rustic atmosphere! Very friendly staff and incredibly delicious food! We were four adults and three children, and everyone loved it! The portions are quite generous, so everyone will leave satisfied. The prices are perfectly reasonable for what you get 👍 Kids will have a blast, as there's a huge playroom just next door, connected to the dining area. My only complaint: please update your menus! They're sticky and dirty. Make some that match your wonderful atmosphere and excellent food! All in all, fantastic and highly recommended 👍👍

We went to the Wildbach-Alm today for our annual Christmas family gathering. Since we now have quite a few children with us, we decided to celebrate there because of the fantastic playhouse attached. And we'll definitely be back, because the food was really delicious (the portions could be a bit smaller) and the service was impeccable! Highly recommended!

The place is really nice - the atmosphere is very cosy, the staff is friendly and the food is tasty. If you have kids - there is plenty of activities that they will enjoy to be busy with (check out the photos). Looks suitable for events. Wine that was recommended by the owners were very rich in flavour. This is a family owned restaurant and they put attention to every detail. Also they are open daily - if you have doubts - just give them a call to the phone provided in Google. (Restaurant was open at Christmas Eve and Christmas itself). They speak Deutsch, English, Spanish and Slavic. The restaurant location make it very accessible if you are going to Neuschwanstein castle. Happy to return at this place! P. S. I would like to upload more food photos, but the food was so good, that I forgot to do it at the beginning.

I find it very nice, quiet and child-friendly here, especially with the indoor playground which offers many opportunities to let off steam; I can highly recommend it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were very satisfied with our visit. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced – excellent value for money. The fantastic indoor play area for children deserves special mention. The little ones had a great time while we parents enjoyed our meals. This is extremely convenient and makes dining out much more enjoyable for families. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant, especially to families with children!

This is our second time at this restaurant. Even with the new owner, it's very cozy, and the food is really delicious (Käsespätzle, Grillzeller, Wildbachalm Burger, Wiener Schnitzel). We'll definitely be back. For the kids (and adults 😅), the adjoining playhouse, with table tennis, a climbing wall, football billiards, and more, is a great way to keep them entertained. There were seven of us at the Wildbach-Alm, and we enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes. The staff was very friendly, and a bonus is that the children can play in the holiday village's playhouse next door (connected by a door). We'll definitely be back!

We ate there today. We ordered a mixed grill and a schnitzel. The food arrived surprisingly quickly, was freshly prepared, and very tasty. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars; more isn't possible. The portions were very large, and we were completely full. The owners and his mother in the kitchen were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back!

The waiter was friendly, but that was about all the positives. The food (Maultaschen) was lukewarm, and the potato salad was quite sour and very likely made with a mix. The ambiance is okay, but quite dated. The menus were very tattered. Loud pop music was playing in the background, which was completely out of place. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.

We ate there using the voucher booklet/mobile vouchers. It was the only restaurant in Nesselwang open for lunch, which is why we ended up there. And we weren't disappointed. A very pleasant, rustic atmosphere welcomed us. I had roast pork with spaetzle and red cabbage, my wife had a super crispy schnitzel with fries, and my sons had burgers with fries and Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) with salad. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. However, we could hear schnitzel being pounded from the kitchen beforehand. The Käsespätzle and roast pork certainly weren't freshly prepared, but they were still very tasty. The service was friendly and the staff kept checking on us to make sure everything was okay. We were very satisfied. The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness in the dining room. For example, there were pine needles from last Christmas among the decorations.

Unfortunately, my visit was a complete disappointment. The squalid atmosphere was immediately apparent upon entering; a cigarette was smoldering on a table in the entrance area, and the place reeked. The menus were sticky and dirty, and the cutlery was stained. The food was terrible and clearly made from convenience foods. The cheese soup was barely edible, the potato salad was obviously from a package and extremely sour, topped with a warm, ready-made sauce and dried-out ravioli. The latte macchiato arrived at the same time as the main course and was only half full. After the meal, I had severe stomach pains and diarrhea. Overall, a completely disappointing visit, not even worth one star.

Deep-fried schnitzel with lots of breadcrumbs and mountains of fries. Not a single lettuce leaf, but a quarter of a lemon. Loud music, poor service. It seemed they weren't expecting any guests around 7 pm. All in all, rather disappointing. Free Wi-Fi for guests.

An insider tip in the Allgäu region. Ideal for families with children. The indoor playground is great, as is the adjacent playground with a skate park and sports fields. The food was delicious. We visited twice with a large group. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was very good. The children's area is ideal for children. You don't see them the whole time. You can also sit on the large terrace, depending on the weather. We highly recommend the Wildbach Alm. We would be happy to come back if we're vacationing in the area.

We've eaten at the Wildbachalm three times in the last two weeks. A lot has changed compared to previous visits. The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it was a bit too chilly for the lovely outdoor area. Our grandchildren especially love the fantastic playhouse. We hope to be able to stay here again in the future.
