Delicious food, nice surroundings, friendly service. The wine list is large, but unfortunately there were only dry wines, apart from an open semi-dry Riesling. At least _one_ sweet option would be nice. It doesn't have to be open wine, a bottle-by-the-bottle option would be completely fine.

We celebrated our wedding at Wild und Wein and it was beautiful there. The tables were very lovingly decorated, everything went as planned, the staff were very friendly and always helpful and the food was of course the finest. There was great praise from all our guests. Thank you to the whole team for this beautiful day.

Also very good at club events, large buffet, quick service even when the house is full. Toilets ok. In the event of cyclist accidents at the table, the table will be refilled.

We all had the wild boar schnitzel. The plate was attractively presented and it was very tasty. Service attentive and friendly. Price vs. quality is right. We'd love to come back.

Absolutely delicious meat dishes from regional wild boar and deer. My personal recommendation is the goulash and the Wiener Schnitzel which has quite the same taste and texture as the ones you get from Austria‘s finest Figlmüller in Vienna. The service is very careful in a familiar atmosphere. Don’t miss out on the different kinds of well-chosen wines. We’ll definitely come again cause we liked the overall exceptional experience we haven’t had somewhere else in the Heidelberg area.

Wild & Wein is an absolutely recommended address! I've already been to a wedding there, to various events and even for dinner. The food was always very good and the team was super attentive and professional! There was never anything to complain about. Thank you!

Super delicious vegan food. A bit too much pepper for my taste. But it could be me. Otherwise really tasty and very nice and courteous staff. You felt like you were well advised. Toilets available and clean and parking space also available. From the outside you just need a more conspicuous sign to find it straight away 🤭 Thanks for the nice afternoon!

A very cozy Polish restaurant. The pierogi were the best I've had in Germany—truly fresh and delicious. The chocolate cake was incredibly rich and dense. Plus, the service was warm and welcoming.

Die PIEROGI (Spinat) haben sehr gut geschmeckt, haben sich aber verändert und entsprechen nicht mehr dem Foto auf der Homepage und den früheren PIEROGI. Die Preise auf der Homepage waren nicht aktuell. Bei der Rechnung wurde schnell mal ein Salat berechnet, den es nicht gegeben hatte.

Good location and pleasant restaurant

Getting to the restaurant is a bit difficult, but it is beautifully situated in the countryside. We were there for a wedding reception. The wedding took place in a beautiful garden. The meal that followed was very tasty. There were snacks, starters, main courses and desserts, all of which were freshly prepared and plentiful. The Polish pierogi are particularly recommended! A cocktail bar served freshly prepared cocktails and there was a good selection of various other drinks. Due to the weather, the meal took place indoors. Outside there is a roof that was used as a dance floor and a spacious seating area under parasols in good weather. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back again for dinner!

What can I say? Seriously the best food I’ve had in Germany and the best pierogi of my life. This place is off the beaten path but easy to find and totally worth the trip. 1000% recommend!

The addition of grains and butter creates a unique atmosphere. It's worth checking it out in person. I recommend this place with clear conscience.

The milk bar in Poland looks better and has tastier dishes. Personally, neither my taste nor my tastes.

A guarantee in Heidelberg! Since we discovered it, it's the only restaurant we go to for Schnitzel. The best I've ever eaten in Heidelberg. The portions are generous and the service impeccable.

Very tasty and very nice people. The food was super tasty and ready relatively quickly. What was particularly positive: the game dish had noodles and the cook came over and said that he had bought new noodles and that they were a bit overcooked. We should try them, if we don't like them, he'll make us another side dish. I think it's really great that someone admits to a small mistake and doesn't just put everything down with the thought: 'Oh, if something happens, they'll let you know'. And the noodles were still delicious.

In this extremely pleasant restaurant, we not only experienced extremely courteous service, but were also warmly welcomed and looked after by the host (Marek), which made our stay an all-round pleasant experience. Already on our first visit (and certainly not the last) we were struck by his warm manner, which made us feel welcome and made us feel at home. His attentive care ensured that we immediately felt comfortable and in good hands. On our second visit we were also personally welcomed and looked after by him, which showed us that he cares about the well-being of his guests. His recommendations on the various dishes were spot-on and helped ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. His charming and professional manner rounded off the evening perfectly and made it an experience that we would like to repeat.

Completely unexpected find just minutes outside of Heidelberg. Beautiful short walk in the vineyards. Short menu for food and wine with focus on local game meat and local wines at very reasonable prices. Outstanding dinner in a pleasant environment with attentive owners. Absolutely recommended

Beautiful restaurant, I love the cozy atmosphere with a wood stove and beautiful decoration. The food is first class every time! There are also tasty treats for vegetarians and vegans (small selection but extremely tasty) and all the meat-eating guests at my table were also very enthusiastic! There is very nice service and a schnapps on the house at the end :) Always worth a visit!

Das Wild & Wein ist im Sommer und Winter total zu empfehlen. Im Sommer lädt der Gastgarten zum Verweilen ein und im Wald kann man es auch bei besonders heißen Temperaturen gut aushalten. Im Winter spendet der Holzofen im Gastraum Wärme und schafft eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort wie Zuhause. Die Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl ist stimmig und es ist für Jede:n etwas dabei. Wir sind gerne zu Gast und kommen sicher bald wieder!

Wir haben im Wild&Wein unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit rund 30 Personen gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Der Service war total nett und mit dem Essen waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Wir hatten im Vorhinein eine Auswahlkarte abgestimmt, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Von deftigen Vorspeisenplatten über feine, hausgemachte Suppen (besonders die Meerrettich-Suppe ist sehr zu empfehlen) bis hin zu regionalen Wildgerichten hat alles einfach vorzüglich geschmeckt. Selbstverständlich gab es auch ein vegetarisches und veganes Angebot - gerade die polnischen Pieroggi sind sensationell lecker. Die Tische waren geschmackvoll eingedeckt und der Holzofen hat für eine gemütliche Stimmung gesorgt. Wärmste Empfehlung und Danke von Herzen!

Sehr leckeres Essen und wirklich ganz arg netter Wirt/Kellner dort. Ein paar mehr Schilder und Lichter draußen wären gut um die Einfahrt nicht zu verpassen.

Haben spontan ein Restaurant gesucht und sind auf dieses gestoßen. Polnische Küche mit kleiner Auswahl. Die Pierogi sind einfach nur lecker. Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Sehr nette Besitzer.

War mit meiner Partnerin zur Date Night hier. Kann es nur weiterempfehlen! Ambiente: Ob im Sommer auf der Außenterasse oder im Herbst drinnen in Kaminnähe - das Ambiente passt auf jeden Fall. In Thekennähe läuft entspannende Loungemusik, die Akustik ist so, dass man sich ruhig und entspannnt unterhalten kann. Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen sowie Wildschwein-Schnitzel und -Gulasch sind super lecker und schick angerichtet. Der Kellner strahlt eine angenehme Ruhe aus und ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Angenehmes Ambiente mit Holzofen und sehr leckeren Speisen. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und wurden schön angerichtet serviert. Insgesamt war alles stimmig und auch die Preise waren angemessen. Wir wurden vom "Chef" persönlich bedient und waren über den Service begeistert. Ein erneuter Besuch ist bereits angedacht denn es war ein schöner Abend. Danke.

Bardzo polecam restaurację. Dania smakowały wyśmienicie. Widać że szef kuchni wkłada serducho w swoje potrawy ponieważ cieszą podniebienie jak i oko. Miła i uśmiechnięta obsługa więc warto zostawić napiwek 😁

Sehr netter Service,auf alle Fragen wurde total nett und ausführlich geantwortet . Wir haben eine Spezialität des Hauses gegessen ,Pirogis,mit verschiedenen Füllungen . Haben sogar noch extra Soße dazu bekommen. Das Essen war echt super lecker ,Handarbeit ,und der Beilagensalat total frisch mit super Dressing . Es war echt sehr lecker bei euch ! Weiterempfehlung !

Tolle ruhige Lage im grünen, herzhaftes essen, freundliche humorvolle Bedienung und kinderfreundlich. Abends hat sogar ein DJ aufgelegt, es wurde getanzt und gefeiert 💯❤️👍

Durch einen Tipp sind wir zufällig dort gelandet. Wir haben ohne Reservierung noch einen Tisch im Aussenbereich erhalten. Der Service war hervorragend. Die Speisen haben ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Die Getränke waren trotz der Hitze sehr gut temperiert und die Preise fair. Im Schützenhaus waren wir sicher nicht zum letzten Mal.

We first visited this restaurant two years ago and fell in love with the owners, the restaurant and of course the food. We finally made it back to Heidelberg 2 years later, and of course had to re-visit our favourite restaurant that we had found previously. We were staying in the city centre, and a short tram ride and stroll past some beautiful gardens we were back, sat on the terrace and sampling some delicious food and drinks on Saturday evening. We can't recommend this restaurant highly enough, atmosphere and food are exceptional which is a credit to the owners - and being so close to trams to get back to the centre is really convenient. Thanks for making us so welcome again!

Fantastic find close to Heidelberg. Family restaurant atmosphere, great service, good food, decent prices. We tried some polish-german dishes and everything was great.

Bit hard to find if you haven't got a map on your smartphone! But once this place is in sight, the peacefull quietness invites you to enjoy a lovely meal. The perogies and schnitzel we had were very good, but we'll have to come back to try some more! Hospitality is great with a touch of ease and down to earth-ness.

This is an amazing restaurant. From the service to the food everything was incredible good. And the price is also very affordable.

I went with a friend that was craving perogies they were awesome, with interesting custom fillings. It was a great meal and great service. Yes, it's a bit out of the way, but worth it.

We travelled here as a Polish & English couple - and we had to visit this restuarant being huge fans of German and Polish food. We were not dissapointed!!! The venue is beautiful, set in the grounds of the Shutzenshaus around the woodlands, the walk from the tram stop (only a few minutes from the city centre) is very picturesque and has a great outdoor terrace with loads of tables (the terrace is covered so good in all weather). We were greeted so warmly and really made to feel at home; every effort was made to make us feel comfortable and relaxed! The food was absolutely out of this world! We came a couple of times during our stay in Heidelberg and we had the oppourtunity to try a few different dishes from the menu, every single one was delicious and beautifully cooked! We would thoroughly recommend the pierogi (the polish style dumplings stuffed with various meats or vegetables) which was served with mushroom sauce from heaven! And the goulash which was spiced to perfection and very warming. The german style dumpling of bread and bacon was incredible and has become one of our favourite dishes in German cuisine! If you have room left for dessert after the very generous portions the cakes also live up to the same amazing standard, all home made too! We had a cheese cake which doesn't compare to any that we've had before! The local beer was excellent, and we also sampled some great wines! Next time we are in Heidelberg this will for sure be the first place we visit - we can't wait to come back!

A little tough to find this unsupposing place but well worth finding. Super friendly staff, home cooked dishes with superb taste and at good value. This was my favourite dining experience in Germany!

Despite great service, and an effort to deliver good food, the ambiance is not right. No credit cards accepted. A place to go if you are hungry, but not a place to enjoy a good meal.

This little gem is somewhat off the beaten track but well worth the effort and do not be put off by the approach. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and proceeded to enjoy the speciality of the house - polish dumplings, preceded by a fresh, tasty salad and we ordered chips on the side. Absolutely delicious. We finished with a cup of excellent coffee. It is a peaceful setting but sadly no view.

Drove about 10 minutes across the bridge to a charming little restaurant on the side of a hill. No view, really, yet so lovely to sit on the porch or inside and have dinner and see all the greenery around you. Inside the restaurant has white table cloths, lit candles, and lovely old world service in a casual manner. The potato pancakes and pierogi were delicious. The family that runs the restaurant was delightful and we chatted for a bit in English, Polish and German. Everything was fresh, salads excellent. Their cream of tomato soup was the best we've had all trip and we've tried a lot of them. Would definitely return. A nice break from Old Town hustle and bustle.
