If you appreciate a rustic atmosphere and good food, then this is the place for you. This was my first opportunity to try vegetarian Polish dishes. The portions were a bit too small for my hunger, and it was difficult to estimate the different portion sizes the first time.

We celebrated our wedding at Wild & Wein, and both we and our guests were absolutely thrilled. The food, service, and everything else were outstanding, and our individual requests were fully accommodated. The price was also extremely fair. We had perfect June weather, which meant we could celebrate outside all day long until late into the night. We absolutely recommend it! We always enjoy coming here.

Good restaurants, they still exist. A gem between Dossenheim and Handschuhsheim. Excellent food and great wine bring us back again and again. We enjoy the wonderful hospitality both in summer and winter. Excellent food and daily specials. Stable wines (Palatinate/Rheinhessen) to our taste at reasonable prices. Even when it's busy, friendliness and attentiveness are a given. And one last important point: Card payments accepted.

A beautiful wedding venue with heart – a definite recommendation! We celebrated our outdoor wedding ceremony and reception at Wild&Wein – and it was simply dreamy. The venue is a true gem: a beautiful, green garden, lovingly designed with a macramé arch that provided a romantic backdrop for our ceremony. From the first viewing to the final dance, everything was perfectly organized. Marek and his team took care of everything with incredible dedication. Communication was reliable, agreements were clear, and our individual requests were always flexibly accommodated. You can immediately see how much passion goes into this! The food was beyond delicious – our guests were thrilled. In the evening, the atmosphere at the open bar next to the dance floor on the comfortably furnished terrace was even more special – we celebrated well into the night. If you're looking for a natural and lovingly managed venue for your wedding or other special celebration, Wild&Wein is the best place to be. A definite recommendation!

We were satisfied guests at the Schützenhaus for a long time. Unfortunately, during our last visits, we discovered that the service was particularly unfriendly, so we will avoid this restaurant in the future.

It was an unforgettable evening. There was very detailed advice on food and wine, and my wife was also allowed to try them. The food was great. It was clear that the hosts had done everything to ensure that we were very satisfied. Since we were there on our wedding anniversary, we also received a great gift for free. 100% recommendation.

Amazing homemade Polish dishes! The traditional soup and variety of pierogi were absolutely delicious, along with all the other dishes and desserts. The hospitality from the owner was top-notch, and he has such a wonderful personality. I accidentally booked for the wrong date and showed up, but he graciously prepared a table for us on the spot. I highly recommend this place whether you're in the area or just passing through!

Delicious food, nice surroundings, friendly service. The wine list is large, but unfortunately there were only dry wines, apart from an open semi-dry Riesling. At least _one_ sweet option would be nice. It doesn't have to be open wine, a bottle-by-the-bottle option would be completely fine.

Absolutely delicious meat dishes from regional wild boar and deer. My personal recommendation is the goulash and the Wiener Schnitzel which has quite the same taste and texture as the ones you get from Austria‘s finest Figlmüller in Vienna. The service is very careful in a familiar atmosphere. Don’t miss out on the different kinds of well-chosen wines. We’ll definitely come again cause we liked the overall exceptional experience we haven’t had somewhere else in the Heidelberg area.

Die PIEROGI (Spinat) haben sehr gut geschmeckt, haben sich aber verändert und entsprechen nicht mehr dem Foto auf der Homepage und den früheren PIEROGI. Die Preise auf der Homepage waren nicht aktuell. Bei der Rechnung wurde schnell mal ein Salat berechnet, den es nicht gegeben hatte.

Good location and pleasant restaurant

Getting to the restaurant is a bit difficult, but it is beautifully situated in the countryside. We were there for a wedding reception. The wedding took place in a beautiful garden. The meal that followed was very tasty. There were snacks, starters, main courses and desserts, all of which were freshly prepared and plentiful. The Polish pierogi are particularly recommended! A cocktail bar served freshly prepared cocktails and there was a good selection of various other drinks. Due to the weather, the meal took place indoors. Outside there is a roof that was used as a dance floor and a spacious seating area under parasols in good weather. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back again for dinner!

What can I say? Seriously the best food I’ve had in Germany and the best pierogi of my life. This place is off the beaten path but easy to find and totally worth the trip. 1000% recommend!

Very tasty and very nice people. The food was super tasty and ready relatively quickly. What was particularly positive: the game dish had noodles and the cook came over and said that he had bought new noodles and that they were a bit overcooked. We should try them, if we don't like them, he'll make us another side dish. I think it's really great that someone admits to a small mistake and doesn't just put everything down with the thought: 'Oh, if something happens, they'll let you know'. And the noodles were still delicious.

Already on our first visit (and certainly not the last) we were struck by his warm manner, which made us feel welcome and made us feel at home. His attentive care ensured that we immediately felt comfortable and in good hands. On our second visit we were also personally welcomed and looked after by him, which showed us that he cares about the well-being of his guests. His recommendations on the various dishes were spot-on and helped ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. His charming and professional manner rounded off the evening perfectly and made it an experience that we would like to repeat.

Das Wild & Wein ist im Sommer und Winter total zu empfehlen. Im Sommer lädt der Gastgarten zum Verweilen ein und im Wald kann man es auch bei besonders heißen Temperaturen gut aushalten. Im Winter spendet der Holzofen im Gastraum Wärme und schafft eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Man fühlt sich sofort wie Zuhause. Die Speisen- und Getränkeauswahl ist stimmig und es ist für Jede:n etwas dabei. Wir sind gerne zu Gast und kommen sicher bald wieder!

Wir haben im Wild&Wein unsere Weihnachtsfeier mit rund 30 Personen gefeiert und waren rundum zufrieden. Der Service war total nett und mit dem Essen waren wir mehr als zufrieden. Wir hatten im Vorhinein eine Auswahlkarte abgestimmt, die keine Wünsche offen ließ. Von deftigen Vorspeisenplatten über feine, hausgemachte Suppen (besonders die Meerrettich-Suppe ist sehr zu empfehlen) bis hin zu regionalen Wildgerichten hat alles einfach vorzüglich geschmeckt. Selbstverständlich gab es auch ein vegetarisches und veganes Angebot - gerade die polnischen Pieroggi sind sensationell lecker. Die Tische waren geschmackvoll eingedeckt und der Holzofen hat für eine gemütliche Stimmung gesorgt. Wärmste Empfehlung und Danke von Herzen!

In Thekennähe läuft entspannende Loungemusik, die Akustik ist so, dass man sich ruhig und entspannnt unterhalten kann. Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen sowie Wildschwein-Schnitzel und -Gulasch sind super lecker und schick angerichtet. Der Kellner strahlt eine angenehme Ruhe aus und ist sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.
